[2.6.2] Patch Notes

Mechanic Changes: New mechanic: Passive Stealth Detection: Follows the general rules of stealth detection except it is performed at the start of combat, the turn a player enters stealth, and on the opposition's turns. The passive stealth detection rating is (10 + stealth detection bonuses) and is performed against the enemy's stealth rolls. In the case of a tie, the stealthed player wins. Does not count as an action. Unless declared otherwise, all mobs have a passive stealth detection rating of 9. Note: It is still possible for an entity to actively detect stealth, but this takes up the post action and follows the general rules of stealth detection. Running Away: If a player leaves both the combat and the thread, they are unable to participate in the same combat (i.e. fight) even if they rejoined the thread. Charge Clarification: Under the current wording, Charge can be used outside of the first turn of combat since, depending on the players' narratives, using the Charge skill is still possible. This is because the only restrictions on the skills are that Charge can only be used once per opponent per combat and that it must be possible via roleplay. Enhancement Changes: Blight: Removed proc from natural, successful attack rolls of 8-10 from two slots of the enhancement. Skill Changes: Charge: Negates any auto-hit effects from other skills and mods (e.g. Suprise Attack mods from Hiding, Tracking mod from Searching). A Charge attack's Accuracy is capped at 2. Hiding: Removed rank 4 (+1 turn of DoT) and rank 5 upgrades (+1 DMG). Mod: Vanish Moved to Rank 4 from Rank 5. Rank 5 Mod: Surprise Attack (Assassin) Damage bonus by attacking from stealth changed from +2 Damage to (+3 * Tier) Damage. Rank 5 Mod: Surprise Attack (Trickster) Now gives +1 turn to DoT status effects. Shadowed Path (Unique Skills): Does not stack with the Hiding skill. Adds +1 Stealth Rating per rank. Allows the user to buy and use Hiding mods. Cannot be detected with Passive Stealth Detection. User can choose from one of the two bonuses when attacking out of stealth and using the Shadowed Path sword arts: User's attack has (3 * Rank)% more damage to (10 * Rank)% more base damage. User's DoT status effects deals (5 * Rank)% more damage for the first two turns of the effect. Effect (Listed here since Unique Skills are not in the Resource List):   Achilles (Unique Skills): Damage reduction from (8 * Rank)% to (10 * Rank)%. Counter damage from abilities is now exempt from the damage reduction and is doubled. Status effects which removes the user's post action (e.g. paralyze, stun, freeze) last twice as long, Effect (Listed here since Unique Skills are not in the Resource List):   Quest Changes: Quest Revamp: «The Hidden Village» Cave Bats HP reduced from 1250 HP to 1000 HP. Cave Bats Evasion reduced from 3 Evasion to 2 Evasion. Clarification: Under the current wording, the quest spawns Cave Bats in groups of two with a number of groups equal to the number of players. This means that you are able to fight the bats in groups of two (i.e. the minimum number of Cave Bats you can fight per combat is two). As such, it is not necessary fight the maximum number (i.e. four) of Cave Bats each combat, but you do need to fight a number of Cave Bat groups equivalent to the players in the thread. New Quest: «Incognito Analysis» A continuation of the «Incognito Antics» questline. (find it on page 3 of the quests section) New Quest: «Incognito Assassination» A continuation of the «Incognito Analysis» questline. (find it on page 3 of the quests section)

The Weekly Link Week #14 Boyu oh boy do I have a lot to cover. It has been nearly a month since the last blog and I am so sorry for that wait. As a treat for being so patient, I'm going to be releasing this immediately rather than waiting for the usual 6:30 PST time to release this. As such, I apologize if I make a quick edit or two in the initial release as I may notice a typo New players      Surprisingly enough, there aren't that many new players to herald in the new year. Regardless of that, I want you all to give a warm welcome to the people who I have missed giving welcomes to. I'm talking about @Cremisius, @Runa, and @Scherza. If you ever need someone to do a thread with, contact me or one of our many other friendly people and we'll either start one with you right there or point you towards someone else who is looking for a thread friend. New Content!     With a new path released, there is also new content. For the full patch notes, please look here, but I'll give a quick summary of the important bits. Parry is not as weak as people thought it was. Due to a misunderstanding, parry was thought to only last a single turn, it in fact lasts until it is activated. Merchant identification tables have been slightly modified to include the loot die enhancement for light armor. The loot tables have been changed once more, but should be much more balanced then their last iteration. There is a new quest over on floor 13 following the aftermath of the Fallen Event, and we are now seeing a rework in familiar acquiring. It should be a bit quicker, and more rewarding to get those familiar skills now. Closing     Again, so sorry for the delay in posts getting this out, I hope that this won't happen again and if it does, that will be some time into the future. I'm back on a regular schedule with classes starting this week, so routine will be returning to my life. Patch Notes: [2.6.1] Hotfix Update

Floor Changes: In the aftermath of the recent Event Bosses, the corruption that had wracked Floor 13 was halted and life has started to adjust in response. As such, Floor 13 has new quests and has been revamped. Look for its Floor Description in this thread. A quest has also been added to the Floor.  Parry (Clarification): Under the current wording, Parry's effect lasts until the user is hit with a successful attack. The energy is spent when the Parry skill is used and the cooldown starts when the effect is procced. General Rule Changes: SP Refunding Rules have been revamped: Mods no longer count towards the monthly SP limit. (You still need to pay 1,000 Col per SP you refund) You must refund SP used in Unique Skills (until then, you cannot use that chunk of SP). Skill Changes: Hiding: Removed Rank 3 base damage upgrade (Rank 5 instead gives +1 DMG when attacking from stealth) Mod: Vanish Now costs 5 Energy. Block: New Rank 1 Mod: Mark Cost: 8 SP Active: Post Action Cooldown: 2 Turns Cost: 5 Energy Effect: Effect: Roll a BD and add 2. The target’s next raw attack roll must meet or exceed the result or target the user [of mark] instead of their intended target [of the attack]. For AoE attacks, this applies to all rolls of that attack (attacks are still treated separately for the usage of MIT, Thorns, etc.). The target attacking someone besides the user will also consume the mark. You cannot have a mark and parry active at the same time. The mark will be removed if the target enters stealth (this skill has no cooldown if mark is removed due to target entering stealth). Description: You mark an enemy, and are kept aware of what their movements are so as to stop them from reaching their targets Parry Changed cooldown to 2 turns, from 1 turn. Loot Changes: The Item Drop Table has been reworked:   «Item Drop Table» All item drops are Tiered according to the floor they are obtained on. All loot-standard monsters drop (HP * 3) Col in addition to the following items based on the roll: LD 1 > 5 CD 1 > 12 Nothing LD 6 > 10 CD 1 > 4 1 Uncommon Consumable CD 5 > 12 (HP) Bonus Col

Quest Changes: Quest Revamp: «Feeding the Enemy» Split into two different quests: «Feeding your Enemy» and «Training your Friend». In «Feeding your Enemy», the goal is now to find and tame a familiar while in «Training your Friend» the goal is now to train a familiar and unlock the «Familiar Mastery» skills. «Feeding your Enemy» <<Feeding Your Enemy>> is the new version of <<Feeding the Enemy>>. Familiars are easier to find, but now must also be tamed. Unlocking the «Familiar Mastery» skills is now handled within the «Training your Friend» quest. Look for the quest in the quests sub-section for more details . «Training your Friend» You can now train your familiar without changing who they are. This quest is used to unlock the «Familiar Mastery» skills or to switch between them without killing or releasing your familiar. Look for the quest in the quests sub-section for more details. Enhancement Changes: Familiar Sight Applies to «Feeding your Enemy» Gains +2 LD when attempting to find a familiar (was taming a familiar before) [Alchemist] New Enhancement: Pheromones Cost: 3 Slots Cap: 1 Slot Effect: When used during the <<Feeding your Enemy>> quest, gain +1 CD when attempting to tame a familiar. The Weekly Link Week #13 Floor 24 has now been released! New quests have been unlocked and the labyrinth guardian is already being fought as we speak. New players      What a week for new players to be joining. After we spent the last few months in a stall, we are finally moving forward. Let's hope that these players are up to the task of pushing their way up to the higher levels. These players are @Alrune, @Julia, and @Penelo. I suggest that you all try to offer to do some threads with them as they acquainted with our systems (and you can always ask me to do a thread with you if you'd like to). That's right, patch 2.6 is now out. The patch notes can be found here, and remember to re-evaluate your Gemini skill if you would like to have it changed. Patch Notes: [2.6] Bosses, Skills & Enhancements Update

SAO-RPG Patch 2.6 Teleport Crystals (Clarification): Teleport Crystals take a post action to use, at which point they immediately teleport the player [out of combat] to the specified area/settlement, in the same turn. The previous ruling, in which the player did not teleport away until the start of their next turn is incorrect. Our apologies for any confusion regarding this mechanic! General Rule Changes: Labyrinth Scouting rules have been revamped. Searching for the labyrinth is now a group effort, and no longer relies on a singular roll. Scouting parties will now total their LD in a pool that persists throughout the scouting thread until a total is reached. Searching can be rolled starting on the 20th post, on a cooldown of 5 personal posts (3 with the Reveal mod). Scouting parties are limited to a max of 4 players in a thread, which must declare those participating. Using a Blank Dungeon Map increases this limit to 6. "Field Boss" has largely been changed to "Labyrinth Guardian". Labyrinth Guardians are fought in a separate thread, facilitated by staff. If multiple parties succeed in finding the Labyrinth, other players are permitted to join the battle. Scouting bonuses have been adjusted to +2 SP for the player who contributed the highest LD total in a Scouting thread and +1 SP for the player who contributed the second highest LD total. Guardians will award bonus rewards for all those who participate. Players who participated in the previous floor boss receive a head-start of 48 hours for creating threads on the new floor. Boss Raid Rotations have changed: A rotation will consist of a single boss post followed by each player taking their own actions. Party rules still apply for certain actions, and the boss will typically take action against each party during its turns. Boss raid rotation time limits have been increased from 48 hours to 72 hours. Post Actions (In Combat): Trading a single item to a player while in combat is now a free action. Trading more than one item still requires a full post action, but doing so allows for multiple items to be handed off to multiple people in a single turn. Sword Art Changes: Katana: [Rank 1]: Ukifune has been increased to a [2x Stun] (5 Energy), from a [1x Stun] (4 Energy). [Rank 5]: San Gae has been increased to a [15x] (15 Energy), from a [14x] (14 Energy). [Rank 5]: Iai has been increased to a [x11 Stun] (14 Energy), from a [x9 Stun] (12 Energy). [Rank 5]: Amatsu no Homura has been decreased to a [x8 AoE] (8+ Energy), from a [x9 AoE] (9+ Energy). Skill Changes: Hiding Now has additional effects at Rank 3/4/5 when attacking from stealth: Increases base DMG by +1 Rank 3 Increases the duration of DoT effects by 1 turn at Rank 4 Increases base DMG by +1 at Rank 5 Searching Mod: Reveal Adjusted the affect on searching for a Labyrinth. Now reduces the personal post cooldown between searches from 5 to 3, instead of reducing the interval of total posts in the thread. First Aid Mod: Purify Removed the healing done by Purify. Increased the removal of status conditions from 1 to "All". First Aid Mod: Field Medic Cooldown reduced to 2 Turns, from 3 Turns. Energy cost adjusted to 12 EN + 3 EN per player healed (excluding the user), instead of 20% of the user's total EN. First Aid Mod: Barrier Reworked into a 3-rank mod available at the 3rd Rank of First Aid. SP cost adjusted to 2/3/5 instead of 10. Energy Cost adjusted to (6/8/10 EN) + 2 EN per player affected (excluding the user), instead of 12 EN. Cooldown increased to 2 Turns, from 1 Turn. Effect now reduces final damage from all sources done to the party by 5% per rank for one turn. Howl Reduced hate generation to 2, from 3. Reduced energy cost to 8, from 10. Howl Mod: Focused Howl Reduced hate generation to 4, from 5. Reduced energy cost to 6, from 8. Meditation Increased energy recovery to (5*Tier) or (3*Tier) when interrupted, from (3*Tier) or (2*Tier) when interrupted. Reduced cooldown to 3 Turns, from 5 Turns. Disguise* Effect has been changed. Now grants +1 EVA for one turn as a free action. Cooldown reduced to 3 Turns, from 5 Turns. Concentration* Removed target restrictions. Effect must now be declared during the roll. Cooldown reduced to 3 Turns, from 5 Turns. Weapon Mod: Quick Change Has been changed to a skill, from a Weapon Mod. Effect has been changed. Now allows the user to instantly equip, unequip or swap an item in their battle ready inventory. Clarification: Quick Change can be used to swap a two-handed weapon for a one-handed weapon and a shield in a single use. New Skill: Extended Mod Limit 3 Ranks Cost: [Unskilled] -> Rank 1 - Novice = 2 SP [Novice] -> Rank 2 - Expert = 3 SP [Expert] -> Rank 3 - Grandmaster = 5 SP It takes a total of 10 SP to Grandmaster this mod. Passive Effect: Increases the number of active mods available by 1 per rank. *Players that currently have Disguise or Concentration as of this patch [12/12/2018] are allowed to change from one to the other, one time only by submitting a request in their own Evaluation thread, to be approved by a PST. Feasts now require 2 identical items (quality/tier/type/enhancement) along with 2 materials of the same Tier to create. Merchants: Adjusted the Regular Enhancement Loot Die Result Chart: *When identifying consumables, apply the enhancement up to the enhancement's cap (refer to the Enhancement List). If the consumable identified is a higher rarity than the enhancement cap, it stops at the cap and the item's quality is adjusted (ex. a Perfect Consumable identified to have 2 ACC becomes a Rare Consumable). Merchants: Adjusted the Unique Enhancement Loot Die Result Chart: *When Identifying a consumable and a Unique ID combination is rolled, still refer to the Regular Enhancement LD Result Chart. In addition, the Merchant can declare the item as a Crystal, or Feast: Crystal: Does not take a post action to use. Follows normal Crystal-use rules. Feast: Can be used to feed a party of up to 6 players. Follows normal Feast-use rules.

What happens when an unstoppable dictatorship meets an immovable will. Tournament Arc     We have a possible site-wide tournament in the makings by none other than @Hestia themselves. Go over to here in order to find out all the details, but I'll give a quick summary. There are three tournaments, each of which are divided by tier. The first is a half-loss HP tourney, the second is a tanking tournament, and the third is a 2v2 half-loss duel. Closing     Make sure to go read up on the tournament and let Hestia know if you are interested in joining it. It should be a lot of fun if we can get people into it. Also, if you have an idea for a segment that either you or someone else could possibly write, please let me know in the comments, in a message, or a discord DM and we can sort everything out. The Weekly Link Week #9 We have more people joining the site (Though quite a few alts), but not much happening. New players      As always, we are bringing new players to the site. As such, please give a warm welcome to our 6 new characters. I ask that you give @Sentoi, @Lotus, @Caprice, @Sonya, @Kit, and @Psychonier the chance to RP with you. The Weekly Riddle     We got three answers this time for the riddle, and I hope more of you will be able to answer this week's. The answer was fire and @Dustin, @Shield, and @Kataware got the answer correct. For this week's riddle, I have something interesting for you. Instead of a riddle, I ask that you identify what picture I have zoomed in on. It's pretty famous, so you shouldn't have too much trouble. Closing     Again, not much happening this week. The Weekly Link #8

The Weekly Link Week #8 Pretty quiet week for everything on site, but here's the little news on what has happened. New players      Our rules are under constant improvement, and that's why we have helpers. As such, we're always here to welcome new players and characters into the game. I would like for everyone to give a warm welcome to the only new character of this week, @Dagger. We also have returning player @Winik. I ask that you give them both a warm welcome and offer to RP with them as they may not have anyone else to do so with. The Weekly Riddle     Last week, we only got two answers for our riddle. Our winners this week are @Dustin and @Shield.    How do you put 8 Horses into seven stables [ 8 ] [ H ] [ O ] [ R ] [ S ] [ E ] [ S ]     Now, I'll dial things back a bit with an easy riddle. We'll get back to some of the fun ones later. Give me food I grow, give me drink I die. What am I? Mechanic Updates     We have a small update to the housing system regarding selling and refunds. [Announcements] Minor Housing update

Selling Rooms!
We have had downgrading plot for a while now, but now we have added selling rooms! The issue came up that a player could downgrade their plots, but the rooms wouldn't be refunded at all. It has now been decided that you can sell rooms for 75% of their original cost. This means that each non-upgraded room can be sold for 7,500 col since it cost its normally 10,000. A Upgraded room would return 26,250 col as that is 75% of 35,000.  Selling Entire House When selling an entire house, you must also downgrade the plot to zero when doing this. Take the total cost of the house and subtract from it the cost of your current plot size of land. You can find those totals on the buying side of the housing reference. Take 75% of all of your room cost(What is left after you take out plot cost) and that is how much you receive back from selling the rooms. Finally, look to the downgrading plot and find exactly how much you receive from downgrading your plotsize to zero. Add that amount to the room total and you have how much you receive back.  This update won't apply to those who are just trying to have a house, just those who are trying to sell/downgrade their houses. This update has been added to the bottom of the housing reference.

The Weekly Link Week #7 We are back in the swing of things again, and your regular updates will be regular once again. Riddles have also made a return, though this one isn't nearly as complex as I have gone in the past. New players      We all know the rules aren't the best written thing in the world, but we all do our best to tough through it. As is tradition on this blog, please give a warm welcome to @Theodosia and @Sentinel. I would suggest that any who can try to RP with them. And to the new players, don't be afraid to ask as everyone is just about always willing to either start a thread with you or point you to someone who would like to. Open Parties and Interesting Threads    There is little progress to note in the form of Open parties, though are raid parties are going strong and taking down the bosses of their respective events as quickly as they can. The Weekly Link #6

The Weekly Link Week #6   Apologies for the absence, but I have been dealing with a couple things IRL. Won't bring you down with them, so here is the next edition of the weekly link. I'll be going back to speaking out of character once again, there's so much more that I can talk about when not bound to in character knowledge. New players      We all know the rules aren't the best written thing in the world, but we all do our best to tough through it. We have quite a few new players from these last couple of weeks, so I would like to give a warm welcome to @Muninn, @Nexus, @Hayden Clarence, @Zayla, @Miyuki, @Kirbs, @Vally, @Kanna, and @Hawthorne. I would suggest that any who can try to RP with them. And to the new players, don't be afraid to ask as everyone is just about always willing to either start a thread with you or point you to someone who would like to. Open Parties and Interesting Threads    Our events are now underway, and for those of you who don't feel like catching up on all the happenings, here is a quick summary:     Our group begins gathered at the church of Angel's Point on floor thirteen, having been warned of a priest communing with demon's laying inside it. The highest level players are all invited to join in protecting the outside of the church while the lower level players are taken inside to face the priest himself. Outside, our best front liners are faced with a horde of demons. Though they were facing high odds, they are helped by an angel. This angel turns out to be a false prophet, and has no asked the players whether or not they believed they have sinned. Meanwhile, the players inside are facing the priest, who has asked and been denied forgiveness for his actions. As such, the two sides are now locked in combat. The priest has even revealed himself to be gaining power from the demons and intent on trying to wipe out every player in the chapel.   Closing     Though I know this is rather short, I am behind schedule as it is. I have no riddle for you all this week, but hope that you all have your thinking caps ready for next week. As a final announcement, a reminder that the Podcast is next week, November 3rd, on Twitch. Be there to catch staff insight, future possibilities, and more.

The Weekly Link #5

The Weekly Link Week #5   We have trouble coming to the Thirteenth floor and many players coming to help us. New players      Every week, we are greeted with people beginning their journey in this game. Though they risk their lives every waking moment now, we should welcome them with open arms. As such, please keep an eye out for @Mishiro, @Ptolemy, @Kian, @Ulaan, @Black, @Cr0wnS, and @Mutsu. We also have @Jinx who has been leveling up in secret for a while, make sure not to ignore them. Open Parties and Interesting Threads    Trouble has come to a climax at Angel's Point on floor 13, priests have concluded their investigation and are preparing to face the priest being accused of colluding with demons. Though some believe it to be for the better of the town, many think that it is an outrage to consider the man innocent. All the local priests have asked any and all who are capable fighters, healers, and tanks to come to the church to make sure the confrontation goes smoothly. [Announcement] Updates from your SAO-RPG Admin Team!

Hello all! Staff have been trying a plugin that makes it easier to post between multiple accounts. This tool is "Linked Accounts" I have recently just enabled it for all users. You should be able to easily swap between accounts if, if you have multiple linked together. Though there are no confirmed reports yet, local priests at Angel's Point are being accused of confiding with demons. As the investigations go on, the residents of the town are looking for brave adventurers that will help them out should the investigation go wrong. The Weekly Link Week #3    Not much has happened this week, but that won't stop me from giving you the link to the site's activity. New players    No new players have joined us this week. But let's make sure we keep helping the players we do have. If you see anyone out there who seems to be struggling to start up a thread, lend them a hand and offer to help them get a hold of the ropes. Open Parties and Interesting Threads    Zandra's beach party is getting into full swing. The scavenger hunt has ended and the combat has begun. Come watch as our competitors fight some crabs... Yeah that doesn't sound impressive, but it should still be lots of fun to come join. Dustin's tavern party is also still trying to garner some people to come and join. If neither of those are up to your tastes, then feel free to set up your own OP thread and let me know so that you to can be featured in The Weekly Link. Classifieds    Formalizing this section a bit more now, though know that I am always looking for anyone who would like to have their offers be seen. Just contact me and I'll get you in here. Weekly Riddle    It seemed that I went a little bit more difficult than people anticipated for the riddle I gave. Congratulations to @Shield for getting the final answer. Honorable mentions to @Ruby and @Zelrius for giving it a valiant effort and making it partway through. I won't spoil the answer here, but know that I will still be taking answers for that riddle for the next week. I'm toning things back down for this riddle, but that won't mean the harder riddles won't ever return. The Weekly Link #2

The Weekly Link Week #2    We are now in our second week, I knew that I could do this! I don't have much in terms of introductions this time around, so let's not waste any time. I am still looking for suggestions on new things to place into the blog, so message away New players    As veteran's know, our rules aren't the clearest. But I would like to welcome our new players @Leoneedspienow, @Hydravion, @Xiy, @Acid, and the hopefully soon to join @Midnight_Lace to our forum. We all hope you enjoy your time here and I invite any and all to join up with them in their threads. Of course, I am always open to join in a thread with players, new and old. Just give me a message and we can organize things from there. Open Parties and Interesting Threads    Not much has changed with the open parties we have. Zandra's beach party is having the end of their scavenger hunt and the combat competition is about to start. DOn't worry if you're a new player or an experienced vet. Our gracious host has made sure that the playing field is level. If you would rather stay inside, come drink with us at Dustin's tavern meetup. And of course, one of our older players has returned and is recruiting for a guild in an open party thread.    As usual, message me if you have any interesting threads or open parties you're looking to get more people into. I'll make sure that you are placed into the next issue of The Weekly Link. Classifieds    There are still no submissions for anyone willing to or asking for help. Weekly Riddle    Last week's riddle was fairly easy, and as a result we have several winners. Congratulations to Ruby, Dustin, Hazado, Paghlika, Cosi, and Hestia (Apologies if you did get it and not mentioned here. I had my computer crash and didn't have that file saved.) The Weekly Link Week #1    Welcome to the first ever installment of the Weekly Link, a weekly blog post to provide some out of character entertainment and news to everyone on the site. Though I know the blogs haven't been used much in the past, I am going to do my best to change that and encourage all the others on staff to start using these more. THis is still in the early stages, and any feedback you may have for the blog is welcome. Always feel free to message me on site or DM me on discord should you have questions or submissions for the blog. I do my best to keep an eye on things to add, but I'm not perfect. Without further ado, let's make our way into the meat of the blog post itself. New players    Though the rules may be intimidating for new people, we still like to bring as many in as we can. Though a short welcome indeed, please give a warm welcome to @Ryoko, @Ghost, @PintsizePrincess, @Lynn, and @Salem. Remember staff is always here to help if you have questions as well as there is plenty of people not on staff that are just as kind. As a further congratulations, you are the first to be getting shout-outs as new members in this blog. Enjoy your time here on the site. I encourage anyone who's looking for a partner to look towards these people and help bring them into our great community. Open Parties and Interesting Threads    Looking for something good to read, or just a place to party. There's always something to look forward to while you're stuck here in Aincrad. Right now we have two open party threads for anyone to participate in. The first is @Zandra's beach party thread on floor 16. Participate in a scavenger hunt, swimsuit competition, or the monster slaying party. Though the scavenger hunt is already well under way, you can still join in and try to find the rare white crystals scattered around the beach and its surroundings. Sand too coarse and getting everywhere, then why not head over to floor 3 and join @Dustin's Tavern party. Though there isn't a lot of people there right now, invite your friends and pack the tavern full of players. Drinks are half-off!   If anyone has some good threads that they think would make for an interesting reading experience, or another open party you started up, send them my way and you could be featured in next week's Weekly Link! Time to use the blogs more!

With the interest of trying to keep you guys all updated, it's time that these blogs were used a little bit more. Though your friendly staff member Neo will likely be doing most of these posts, hopefully other staff will be able to start using this more as well. My intent is to be able to provide people with updates primarily focusing on events, open party threads to look out for, and provide little tips to players. I cannot promise a perfect regularity with these posts, though I will make sure that if something is happening it gets announced as well as try to keep to some schedule of posting. This first post will be playing some catch-up, though I hope that once we are caught up there can be a few interesting things to do. Anyways, it's time that we caught up on events happening on the site. Staff Events Though many are likely aware of this, there has been no formal announcement of it. We currently have the Mysterious Murders event going on in the beginner floors section. Any thread marked with the tag "MM" is one of those threads. Though you may need to read up on what's happening, it is still perfectly fine for you to join in. Do bare with us though, as the threads are temporarily on hold in regards to their plot as the staff member in charge of it is currently away. If they are back as originally planned, the threads should be starting up again in a week or two. Party Time! We know there's nothing better than a party and here on site we have something even better, an Open Party! Though an uncommon thread type, it is always a great way to get your character out there. At the moment, we have one thread just as such. @Zandra is hosting a beach party on floor 16 and has invited the entirety of Aincrad to join in for the fun and competitions. If you get in quick, you can sign up while they're still open. Do hurry, they close soon. If you don't make the deadline, you can still hang about and enjoy watching the swimsuit competition or provide hints for the scavenger hunt. Or maybe you can cheer your friends on in the monster hunt. Remember, the only thing stopping you from making your own open party thread is your imagination. Create one and get it going and you too could be featured here. The Future of the Blog As I said earlier, I can't promise perfect regularity with this blog. I will try to keep it to at least once a week. And though this one is fairly simple, expect to see some improvements on it as time goes by. If there are ever any questions, always remember that your kind PSTs are around to help. We don't bite! If anyone has ideas for what else can be added to the blog, talk to me about it here or on discord.
