This was not helped by the rumors of family practicing of witchcraft. These rumors were completely true. His mother was a poet and his father was a philosophy teacher. They instilled much of what they knew into him giving him his love of literature and thought. Though when his parents found out that he decided to forgo the collage life and become a bartender, they all but disowned him
