About: History/personality

Anise was always a nice and empathetic young girl, although living in the slums forced her to hide that part of herself, and push it deep inside her. She followed her sister's examples, picking on other children and hanging out with the wrong crowds. Her own kind and helpful nature was buried through necessity. Her outward personality became increasingly sadistic, especially after she found out that she had a rare condition that caused her body not to mature like a normal person, leaving her with the appearance of a much younger person. She used this problem to her advantage though, making people think that she was younger than she actually is and then double crossing them. She was never a very big gamer, not having the money and spending her time doing other things, but when SAO came out she ended up getting it just to see what it was like.

Virtues:

Cunning: Neka is very cunning. She is able to think quickly and use her surroundings to her advantage. This comes from her life experience, not anything to do with games. She is quite good at planning things out, as well as controlling things from behind the scenes. She likes to think of herself as a sort of Machiavellian princess. 

Calculating: Neka is very good at calculating odds and risks in order to make the best decisions. However, sometimes she can make impulsive decisions without knowing all of the facts. Her calculating mind also allows her to take advantage of some of the games systems to become powerful quickly.

Risk-taker: Neka is willing to take risks to achieve her goals. This is because she understands that you have to take big risks in order to get big rewards. Sometimes she can take risks impulsively though. For the most part she is good at weighing what is a good risk and what is a bad risk however.

Emotional Bursts: Keeping her emotions inside can be hard. Sometimes when an emotion builds up in her like hate or anger, she 'erupts' momentarily. This can lead to hasty decision making while incredibly angry. In a way, her emotions match the age that she looks. She is generally very happy but can become sad and cry, or angry very easily.

Shy: Neka can be very shy. One of the few things she is afraid of is meeting new people. She doesnt understand the reasoning behind her fear, but she still gets tense and incredibly fearful when meeting someone new. Sometimes that fear can even lead to her running away and hiding, or hiding behind a friend, although that rarely happens as she has pretty good self control.

Wild Card: Neka can be a bit of a wild card in terms of personality. In some situations she can be incredibly sadistic, taking pleasure in hurting others. However, at other times she can be the exact opposite of that. This can lead her to be a bit unpredictable, causing people to be hesitant to get close to her.
