Standing in Snowfrost Town, Macradon awaited his guildmates. He had taken charge as the commander of Party 2 in the quest of getting all in the guild to reach the highest tier level that was to come very soon, tier 3. Macradon was leading a party consisting of him, Grave, Lawfer and Beoreson. Everyone were of the KoB and Macradon would have a great time leading them through all of this. Standing at the warp plaza of the icy winter town, Macradon stood, clad in all of his armor, with his helmet adorned upon his head and the <Banner of Command> shining out with the KoB Banner on it. Standing there, he waited for them to get here and ready to fight the best they could, getting down a snow king and get the experience as fast they possibly could. Macradon would stand proud, shining off an aura of honor for his guild, as his guild was something he was quite proud of, even after what some people have done within the guild.

Chatter among NPCs that frequent the snow-filled streets of «Snowfrost Town» have begun to speak hearsay of a fortress in the far north, where the mountains are tall and the forests thick. These rumors tell of a King of Ice, whose pale skin matches the snow that coats his frozen throne. If a player were to pursue these rumors, they would be lead to a tavern known as the Long Barrow. There, they would find an NPC with grizzled features named Joramun, who tells them of the legend of the Night’s King, a legendary undead monster who lives in a fortress made from ice and stone hidden within the tallest mountains. Joramun also tells the player that his wife had been killed by the Night’s King, and offers the player a reward if they kill the Night’s King and bring back his crown.

In her desire to gain more power the red-haired giantess was always elated to hear from one of her fellow Knights of the Blood Oath. Even when she had to revisit the fourth floor. Warm air flooded from between her lips and quickly became visible as it mixed with the frigid air. It was a small price to pay of course and it would give her the opportunity to become more familiar with the other Knights. Her pristine white armor proved to blend in with the snow quite well. If it wasn’t for her tanned complexion, the crimson trim of her armor, and her equally crimson hair she might have been easily overlooked.

She ended up pulling her cloak tightly around her shoulders to help fend off the cold some so she had to keep her weapons at the ready but not yet fully equipped. Luckily she was till within the safe borders of Snowfrost Town. When she finally caught sight of Macradon she smiled despite the environment and waved. “Sorry if I’m a bit late.” Her crimson-eyed gaze swept through the area in hopes of seeing other familiar faces but when her effort proved fruitless her smile faltered ever so slightly. “Am I the first to arrive?” Well first other than he of course.

Looking towards the voice that had just come to Macradon’s area, he would see @Magda being present. “Ah, Magda. Good to see you’re here” he said with a smile, still awaiting the others to arrive at the set location … if they even were to arrive … He would be patient and await the fellow knights, @Grave, @Beoreson and @Lawfer to come before venturing into the wilds to clear the quests and probably go up a floor to clear down a dungeon. Macradon wasn’t too sure what would be going on, but he would be sure that they would accomplish this without much hassle, as it didn’t seem like this boss would be too dangerous, especially not with Macradon on their side. With a few sweeps he would be able to take out the minions, and he would have some good 2 shot potential on taking down the boss, so it wasn’t like they were at a disadvantage.

Floor Four was always very nippy, thankfully she had brought an oversized red and white jacket to match the rest of her suit. It was hard being a small girl with a small body with very little fat on her body. This happened to be because of her very high metabolic rate, her thin skin had made her very perishable in the cold weather. But she would not let that deter her responsibility to the rest of the guild. They had requested her as her skills would be helpful here, she was unsure of who was going to be accompanying them, but she knew at least Macradon and @Hirru would be coming. Thanks to them, she was gaining all sorts of crazy experience which was gonna help her Support and Healing build tremendously. She had not done too many quests with other since her active time on the upper floors, but she was going to change that here and now.

So she would step up albeit chattering with her teeth as she made her way towards the area for the meet up. Curling under her jacket, the small woman shielded herself from the elements although she found this floor to be very magical wonderland-ish. It always felt like Christmas on this floor and that made her smile wide every time.

How many times would they have to come back to this bloody floor?  This thought kept ringing inside the hunter's mind as he stepped out into the cold frost bitten town that he knew all too well.  Many true beginnings came from this floor, but that is what kept this place from becoming anything else.  It was a place for memories to lie and rest.  Falling from the sky as if they were the very snowflakes that come from time to time.  Individuals memories that fall and collect, but never fade.  However, they can never be found again.  That is how the hunter saw this place.  A never ending torture against his original goal.

Mac had taken the second group to face the Night King, but the hunter was worried that something might not be right.  It turns out that worry would be nothing more than prejudice against everything that the fourth floor held.

"If you don't mind, I'll be coming with."

Sighing heavily as condensed air would come out of his mouth as he had nod donned on his helmet yet, Macradon would hear loud footsteps in the frozen barren lands. The cold snowy wind was lightly breezing through the area, but the sound of snow being crushed under feet were loud enough to be noticed. Magda had arrived, but it didn’t seem like she would like to be joining the fight. Seeing Anemone and Hirru arrive, Macradon would nod with a smile. “Great having you guys with me today … I wouldn’t want to mess this up too much”. He would look at the two and try to make a plan, as well as taking notes on the support side. “At this boss, base damage can’t exceed 12, so Sharpen wouldn’t be of much use here. Barrier would probably be better. The boss does do heavy damage, as well as its minions, so we should be careful with juggling hate, Hunter. If we succeed in this fight, we should be able to defeat the boss easily" he said with a confident tone in his voice.

Going along with Capt. Mac's planning, the hunter had a few things to say about his own excursion through the Night King's realm.  From his only time up there, the only thing that was a real problem was probably the cold restricting his movements, causing his potential damage to fall a small amount, but nothing that couldn't be scavenged out.  Especially with two fighters of the team.

"The minions are nothing, and are easy enough to take out.  Heck, I'd say we'll be able to take out all of them before we even get to the Night King's stronghold.  The real problem comes when we get into that stronghold and gain the Night King's debuff.  It will only be him, if we take everything else out before facing him, but we should be cautious.  We won't need Barrier until then, though, but your first aid ability will make up the rest of that side of the coin."

He said the last part to Anemone while looking out towards the mountains that house the stronghold.  Equipping his Crimson Blades cloak to

"We should start heading up there now.  I don't want to be up there when a snow storm comes."

"If the hate becomes too much." The woman started to say as she put her hands together and began to rub them gently, "I have field medic as well. So I can heal the entire party if you two end up going even." the woman breathed hot air into her cold hands but still smiled as she looked up at both players, "Next time we are on this floor, remind me to wear some mittens and ear muffs." She chuckled lightly, but she adored the snow it just felt very much like a Home thing for her. When Hirru mentioned a snow storm or something, her sunny disposition turned somewhat cloudy as she gave him a look, "That doesn't sound very pleasant. Then we should be off before anything like that happens." The woman took a step forward, would it even be necessary to look for Tier 1 Materials?

LD:11 + 8 = [+4 T1 Materials (4 Total)]

Even if she wasn't searching for them directly, shiny objects appeared before her like magnets to her eyes. So she tucked down and flipped her coat to reveal her trust satchel that usually bobbed at her hip. Scooping up some shiny rocks, the woman deposited them into her bag and was about to lift herself up, but instead fell backwards into the snow and started to wave her arms and legs. Small amounts of childish like laughter erupted from her as she created her own snow angel, but at the expense...she was freezing her butt off now. @Macradon

Nodding at Hirru’s statement, Macradon would begin to head towards the Night’s King’s fortress. As he would begin his walk, he would don his helmet for his full plate armor, something he usually didn’t wear, but the circumstances of the 3rd Tier, Macradon gradually went from lightly armored to heavily armored. After his helmet had been donned, Macradon would pick up the Banner of Command, displaying the proud insignia of the KoB on the bordeaux banner’s base and the golden embroidered insignia. On his banner were words embroidered at the bottom of the banner reading 'In nomine veritas, In nomine filii et patris, In nomine veritas, Et sanctus', words of the templar that would show his self-proclaimed heritage and title as the Scarlet Templar “Yes, let’s head out” he said quickly giving a glaze at Anemone, Macradon would say with a muffled voice through his helmet’s visor “I don’t think we need that many T1 Materials, we can just buy T1 and T2 materials from merchants, as far as I’m aware, but you’re welcome to do so” he said. As he walked towards the fortress, Macradon would hold up high the banner to emphasis that the KoB are here to conquer the fortress from the King.

Before a lot of time would've passed, Macradon would see the enemies standing in front of the fortress, possibly the guards. Macradon would begin to chant what was written on his banner "In the name of Truth, in the name of the Father, in the name of Truth, and the Saint ..." he continued with his own line "I will decimate what stands before me" he roared as he stuck the banner down into the ground and <Charged> the group in front of him. With a quick draw of his great sword, Macradon would hold it over his right shoulder with the pommel facing up forward. As he Charged in, he would focus all the energy in his forward swing in his pommel into the skull of the closest Wight and crush its skull with so much force that a shock wave would spread throughout the air and strike the other Wights just as fast as Macradon had appeared before them. The shock so great that the whole group of monsters would be pushed back a few meters before they would all scatter into crystals and polygons when their health bar quickly fell down to red and empty. "Hunter, take out the next you see!" he said, hoping they would be able to advance even further.

"Come on, Anemone.  We don't want to lose you from your natural camouflage."

The hunter held a hand out to the snow white priestess that played in the snow, while trying to press a little joke in the meanwhile.  Though, whether or not it would seem forced would be to the onlookers to figure out.  The hunter wasn't always the one to make jokes, but that didn't mean he couldn't.  It was just rare.

"We can better materials later on, though I won't bash that initiative."

The climb up the mountain would be rough, but not as bad as the time that he had with Shield.  That time was really bad on the hunter as he had to remove himself from any hard actions to have the tank pull mobs more quickly.  Unfortunately, a snow storm came in and made movement that much harder.  Hopefully, that wouldn't be the case here as they crested the ridge to find the Night King's stronghold.  After Mac took out four of the guards, the hunter was tasked to take out the next ones that would come to greet them.

"Easier said than done."

The hunter said while pushing forward through the snow.  The next four Wights were not in sight at all, which made the hunter think if they were hiding.  It was too late as the ghostly white undead sprung from the snow around him and cut into him several times.

"Damn!"

"Thank you..." Her cheeks were both rosy from the display of Hirru's kindness to help her up along with the depth of coldness outside on Floor Four. The woman came up with a pop as she started to dust the snow off her coat, she couldn't help herself it was rare for her to come to this floor. But she had kept pace with the others until the snow storm had been welcomed. The woman brought her hood up as the snow and wind beat against her smaller frame, she felt liek she would be lifted off her feet at any moment just to be carried away by the raging storm. Red eyes blurred from the wind as it stung and bit down on her face, a cold chin ran down her spine when Macradon had assaulted some evil looking foes. It was hard to hear their commands while the wind had whipped around them and with the cover of her hood on, it was even more difficult.

The Support Healer then turned and followed in suit as they pushed on through the path. Heavy footsteps continued as she had to lift her legs up high from the accumulating snow cover on the ground. She moved with a slug's pace now as she stopped to see Hunter Hirru make for the next four mobs, unfortunately the weather was getting worse and his sword art didn't proc as he had expected. In conflict to the call of his attack, the enemy had struck his armor. Anemone rushed forward, her cold hands glowing a gentle white until she shot them forward to encase the Hunter in the healing ability.

Even though the Hunter was unable to spot the white humanoid creatures hiding in the snowy landscape, Macradon would be able to see through their disguise attempts and rush towards them “It’s alright, I got them!” he said to his comrades as he charged into the group of Wights, making sure to grab their attention from Hirru, even though it was too late to take their Hate from him, as they had already engaged upon him. Macradon would have his sword over his shoulder once again, releasing all the energy in his strike to make the German murder stroke, bashing skulls, crushing bones and wiping out the Wights like they were dust on his shoes. He would be sure to decimate what would pose to be his enemy, no matter the cost upon him, be it exhaustion or perhaps even his life, if it would end up being for someone else, but he was quite sure that if his life was on the line, he would make sure that no one would be close to taking his life.

The snow felt cold after Hirru fell into it to avoid being hit more by Captain Macradon's area of effect attack, that decimated the four that struck out at the hunter, causing him some damage.  Thankfully, Anemone was able to get to him to heal a fair amount of his health, but not all of it.  It would have to do, as the fight had to continue.  Some how, the health regeneration felt like the snow that fell upon them now, but the thought would be pushed aside.  The hunter wasn't going to let his pride get thrown about around his fellow guild members, but he wasn't going to throw himself into another group like before.  This time, he would have all of his skills active at once.  He wasn't going to let anything get by him like that again.

This time, the hunter found the undead before they could do another surprise attack, and performed one of his own.  After they shattered on to the moon mother, he would give one last scan around the area to make sure that that was the last group.

"It seems we're clear from those undead.  Night King is the only one left."

"Oh, thank goodness you both are alright." The woman had said with her shoulders raised and deep into her winter jacket. Ruby eyes set forth across the cold tundra grounds as she peered towards what seemed like just more and more snow all around them. Hands buried into her pockets, the woman's hot breath escaped her as she peered at her guild mates. "I am not sure in the direction we are supposed to travel in, so I'll leave the leading to you both." Hirru had yet to fully recover from his last attack on him and unfortunately she could only help within the combat parameters. She had turned to him and Macradon with a small smile, with how everything was going they would probably have this wrapped up in no time. All that was left was the Night King, it sounded spooky to Anemone.

She frequented tales of knights and goblins and the like in her books, mostly though of a gallant warrior on a white horse looking to save the Princess. However this Night King sounded like something more from a horror movie, or even a popular iconic idol where a slender man with the head of skeleton was the prominent male lead. Such strange movies they were. Anemone kept her hands up towards her chest, it seemed to help keep her warmer but she was ready to move when they were.

Macradon would look around, seeing his proud knights clear through these Wights, it was truly a confident win for the Knights of the Blood Oath. Grabbing the KoB Banner, Macradon would begin to run towards the stronghold’s main entrance “Alright, Knights, let’s attack!” he said and ran into the giant room where a dark figure stood on top of a set of stairs, standing in front of what seems to be its cold throne. The dark figure would take a step into the light, drawing its greatsword and point it towards Macradon “Don’t even try, I have the high ground” it said with a cold rasp voice. Macradon would ignore it and plunge the banner into the icy cold soil so it would stand and help them through morale to take on the boss. Macradon would scoff the words and <Charge> up. Quickly jumping up into the air above the King and slam down with his blade. A loud clash would be audible for a long distance as blades clashed upon each other. Macradon’s heavy attack was directly blocked by the boss’ sword. Macradon would smile through his helmet and answer “Doesn’t seem like your high ground helped you here”.

Upon entering the Night King's domain, the hunter could already feel the debuff wash over him before the icon could appear beside his name.  His attacking capabilities were now reduced, but only by a small margin.  There wouldn't be any other problems going into this fight.  With that in mind, the fight commenced with Macradon taking the lead against the Night King, but it seemed that they were at a stand still.  Neither of them doing much damage to either, if anything at all.

"Alright Anemone!  Keep us going...  Anemone?"

The hunter called out while looking around, bewildered by the sudden disappearance of their Winter Priestess.  That only meant that they had to push this boss hard, as they would not be able to last against its attacks.  At least, not the hunter.

"Mac, we're on our own from here!"

The hunter called out before brimming his sword in emerald green.  He dashed forward without the assistance of any Charge type skill, as he never had it.  Pushing past Mac, the hunter landed a considerable blow against the undead king, but that only pointed its gaze towards the hunter.

Macradon listened to Hirru, saying that Anemone was gone. That wasn’t too good, but if she were gone there weren’t a thing they could do about it. Clicking his tongue, Macradon would call out “Aye, we’ll manage!” to Hirru as they were alone now. After being locked in blade to blade with the Night’s King, Hirru had taken the opportunity to attack the dark knight while being distracted by Macradon. The blow wasn’t super hard, but it did indeed do damage to the frozen king. Bashing his sword to the side, Macradon ended the bind between two blades. Preparing his <Galaxy Destroyer> sword art, Macradon would deal a good blow, takin a good chunk of the knight’s health bar, reducing it down to nearly half health. When looking at the attack, Macradon was aware that both he and Hirru were doing somewhat the same amount of damage looking at the health bar, it was probably the condition of the area that helped the Night’s King survive a bit longer.

"I truly hope so!"

The hunter called back as the fight continued.  Luckily, Macradon was able to deal a strike against the Night King which seemed to make it flinch.  It wasn't a stun or paralysis, but it was enough to make the Night King miss the both of them.  What was more, the undead king seemed to be really gunning for both of them now, that low sweep could be felt by both of them.  That meant that the both of them were susceptible to damage.  If he remembered right, even with Shield's damage mitigation the Night King was ripping through his health for a time before his bloody regen brought it back.  Man was that guy powerful.

"Let's try this!"

The hunter ran around the other side of Mac to flank the undead king.  Sword wrapped in emerald, the hunter connected with a fair amount of damage, but not enough to really be decisive.

Even though Hirru did a great swap in attack angles, the Night’s King would swing his axe without hesitation, cleaving a good chunk into Hirru, dealing a great amount of damage. Macradon had no time to react to that, he couldn’t parry it, deflect or block it, the Night’s King was just too fast. What Macradon could do was to retaliate while the Night’s King was recovering from his Axe attack. With another strong strike with his <Galaxy Destroyer> sword art, Macradon would chunk it down to red health where Hirru would be able to get another hit in and kill the boss, finishing the quest once and for all, as it was getting tedious to fight in this cold, in this environment and even at this king’s palace. The strike was strong enough to make the king stagger and take a few steps back, but he was already in his way of winding up for another strong cut, this time it seemed to be aimed at Macradon, but that could change the same just as fast as Hirru assaulted the king. "Hirru, take him out!" Macradon roared.

"Guh..."

One could not feel pain, but the sudden shift and the large amount of health that was taken out of the hunter made him reel back.  It had been some time since anything like that had been done to him, and it was a reminder that this world was just as dangerous as ever.  If neither of them could get him in time, then the hunter would be done for.  Even if Mac had his attention now, the focus seemed to still be around the hunter's side.  With that, he decided to push forward instead of running around to become a singular target.

The Night King was on its last legs though.  With its health in the red, either of them could really make this boss feel the final embrace of death, or re-death.  How did undead beings work again?  The hunter couldn't remember from his own investigations.  However, he really couldn't think.  Something in him seemed to.. come out.

"<<Meteor Break>>"

The attack seemed to be over before the hunter knew he had done it.  It felt like the time with Teayre where he automatically attacked without second thought.

With that, the Night King was made a sorrowful cry to the heavens before the light of the moon guided him to a better world.  Shattering into thousands of pieces, the quest was complete, and the Knights of the Blood Oath could finally rest.

"Let's go home, Mac.  After we find Anemone... oh hi Magda!"

The hunter called out after a single figure appearing from around a corner.
