{PP-F1} The Missing Piece -Shield and Myself-

Recommended Posts

Power.  Strength.  Control.  These were attributes Domarus gave his life to master.  Information on skills, equipment, people.  Knowing the cause and effect of everything.  This was power.  Strength was physical prowess, determination, unyielding will, and in games, stats.  Knowing one's personality, their traits, their strengths and weaknesses.  Learning about their past and how they think:  That lead to control.  In order to rule one must have power, strength and control.  Power so that one is not overcome by others seeking the throne.  Strength so that one cannot overcome the king and his men.  Control so that his men remain loyal.  Control didn't have to be through fear.  In fact fear would destroy the king's grip.  The strongest form of control was contentment.  Domarus' goal was to rise to the position where he had his hand in every area in Aincrad, controlling information, equipment, tanks, scouts, dps and healers, everything at his command.  With it he could benefit those who followed him and thus keep everyone happy.  He would need to listen to those who followed him and hear their needs, and make an effort to satisfy them.  With that he'd have cleared out most of the unloyal and doubtful thoughts in their minds.  The stronger he became the more other's would expect from him.  The knights of the blood oath members seemed determined to stand tall and proud, however what they didn't realize was that they were digging their own grave.  Domarus knew they wouldn't be hard at all to overcome.  The issue was that he needed four strong allies to help him.  He had three out of four, and it didn't seem like he'd be gaining the fourth one any time soon.  Unfortunately it seemed he might have to play as that fourth member until he found them.
