About: History/personality

Alice was born in america to a small family she never was a very out going girl but she was smart. A friend got her into gaming when she was very young joining into her first MMO when she was around eight years old. During her school life she mostly focused on studying and didn't attract much attention to herself. Alice had a hard time reaching out to others, she moved around a lot and so the only friends she could really hold on to friends she made online and she was too shy to make the first move. Her father was part of the military so she was an army brat, the friend that got her into gaming was actually in japan her name was Akane but she moved away soon after. She kept in contact over the internet and made time to play together almost every day in their typical games Alice would take a tank roll and her friend rolled DPS making a typical team but usually Alice wasn't the one pulling everyone together. They talked often about all sorts of things but when SAO was announced her friend had a surprise for her, all expenses paid trip to Japan so that she could try the game with her.

 

Her parents agreed to let her stay in japan for just one week or at least that had been the plan, but that wouldn't work out in the end. when she first logged in to SAO with Akane they decided to go with their regular set up, so Alice started on improving her defense and Akane improved her damage. Getting right into the gameplay mechanics they had set out to fight some low level boars and at first everything was going well the boars were predictable enough but inevitable something went wrong. They aggrod to many boars at once and got surrounded, in the end Alice finished up the boars but Akane had taken to much damage and died, at first she didn't think anything about it but when Akane hadn't answered her call she was beginning to suspect something, she tried to log out. then the 'announcement' her friend was already dead and the real game was only just getting started.

Virtues:

Compassion: Alice has empathy for others often able to understand how others feel. She will go out of her way to make sure they are feeling good and safe. she feels incredibly strongly about how she treats others and how they are treated by others.

Loyalty: Alice would never betray her friends.She tends to get very close to people and form very strong bonds. This extends to anyone she makes a promise to, going back on her word is something she would never do.

Optimistic: A true oddity inside Aincrad Alice believes that everything will work out in the end. Her optimism lets her work through even the most terrible of situations. The up beat mood of her attitude can lift the spirits of even the most depressed.

Flaws:
Meek: Alice has always been easily influenced and has trouble saying no to others. This causes her to go along with whatever someone else says rather easily especially when they have a strong personality. Alice often will disagree but be unable to force herself to say anything about it.

Indecisive: Given the choice  Alice rarely knows exactly what she wants to do. Most times given a choice between two options it will take her at least 15 minutes to decide which option to take, increasing the number will only cause more indecision so she often asks for advice. Even in cases where she knows what she would prefer she is easily swayed in another direction.

Absentminded: Alice is easily distracted even in serious situations. She can have her attention sucked away in the middle of conversations by something shiny catching her eye. She will often forget to wait for something important before moving on.
