Fae was a little bit proud of herself for managing to hit the boar correctly that time. When Hei told her just one more of those attacks and she would be able to kill the boar. Fae sighed. She didn't have enough energy to do that attack again. "Fae can't do it again mister Hei, Fae ran out of energy." Fae said as she got ready to attack the boar. Luck just wasn't on her side here, although it was just more of a coincidence of Fae's stats than her luck.

Fae lunged at the boar for a third time and held out her dagger. She swung at it quickly, but she missed yet again and hit the ground. She didn't skid like last time, but it was still a bit of a fall. Fae stood back up and shook her head. "Fae is okay, Fae will hit it on the next one, don't worry." Fae said, trying not to sound ashamed.

Hei had just told Fae, that she could kill the boar with just one more of those attack, when she sighed and answered that she hadn't have enough energy to use the swordskill once again. But it seemed that this didn't stop her from doing her best, as she readied herself for another attack. Hei was just about to tell her, that she could do it, when she lunged at the boar and missed it once again. When she stood back up and told him, that she would hit it with her next attack, Hei was sure that she would hit it, and so he just ran at the boar, yelling at it to get it to attack him, even though he didn't know if it would help without a corresponding skill.

He ran around and the boar began running after him, grunting angrily and with increasing speed. Just when the boar was close enough that it could attempt to attack Hei, he made a step to the side, jumping out of the way and landing on the ground. The boar ran further forwards, before turning around and once again running at Hei, who was on the ground and signed Fae, that this was her next chance.

Fae was getting a little bit irritated that she was starting to miss when this Boar was almost dead. It seemed this happened every time she was close to killing anything, she would just start missing almost all of her attacks. She laughed a little bit when she saw Hei running around yelling at the boar and getting it to chase him, but covered her mouth when she did so. Fae saw Hei get on the ground and give her a sign to attack, so Fae knew that this was her chance to attack, and hopefully hit it this time.

Fae got a grip on her dagger and started to dash towards the boar while it was still charging at Fae on the ground. She looked at her energy and realized she could have been using her sword arts this whole time, but was reading her energy wrong. Fae's dagger glowed a bright pink as she lunged forward at the boar and swung. She missed and her dagger went right over the boar, while Fae herself ended up slamming into the boar, sending both of them rolling a little bit away from Hei. Fae got off of the boar right away and looked over at Hei. "Sorry mister Hei! Fae will get it next time, for sure!" Fae apologized as she ran back over in his direction.

Hei was about to stand back up when the boar arrived at him. It was about to attack, but before it was close enough Hei saw the small girl jump at it, her dagger glowing pink and leaving an arc in the air where it had been. Faes attack went over the mob, but she didn't. She tackled the boar and it was thrown away from him, which allowed him to really stand back up. As the girl said, that she would hit it the next time, he decided to let it live for her to kill it, no matter how long the fight would go on. There was no problem with the beast hitting him, as his HP were so much higher than it's damage, that it would take forever for it to kill him. He was more afraid of Fae getting hurt, but she had armour that would prevent most damage. "Ok, do your best and believe in you. I'll distract it further" he told her, while he walked over to the boar, and put away his weapon. "HERE WE GO! I'LL KILL YOU WITH MY BARE HANDS!" he bellowed at the boar which quickly tried to ram him and slit his legs with its tusks, but Hei was way to quick, jumping away from its attacks.

Fae sighed when she stood up. It was getting annoying now, missing over and over with this boar. She kept a smile, but if this kept up, well, Fae would end up throwing a fit. Hei told her to believe in herself and just do her best and she nodded. He was going to distract it even further and Fae just watched as Hei put away his weapon. "Okey dokey, you want Fae to finish it off? Fae will do her best." Fae said, not really feeling the energy to say it louder.

Fae watched as Hei walked up to the boar and yelled that he would kill it with his bare hands. The boar didn't really seem to understand, and it just kept trying to attack. While it was distracted with Hei, Fae charged at it again and swung her dagger. Once again, she barely missed the boar and fell to the ground. Fae stood up and took a few steps back. "Sorry mister Hei, I just can't get it." Fae apologized.

"Don't worry, you will get it, if not now, then later, but you will get it." Hei responded to Fae's apology. With his bare hands, he went to attack the boar, that was not quite as distracted as he had hoped. He was not the kind of person, who was into martial arts, so he hadn't bothered to get the skill by now, so all he could do was using his pure strength to land a blow onto the boar. He clenched his fists and ran towards the boar, that had already stepped back a little to charge in for a next attack, and got into a strong stance. When the boar finally charged at him, he wanted to stand his ground and ram one of his fists into the bars face, but the mob didn't attack as he had though, and so his hand got swiped to the side by the boars tusks, and it rammed him with a good speed, dropping his HP by a little. "That was not what I was aiming for" he grunted.

Fae got a solid grip on her dagger, getting a bit fed up even more with this boar. "Fae will get it this time, for sure!" Fae said, running towards the boar again, holding her dagger behind her to slash at it. Fae had lost count at how many times she missed the boar. Granted, Fae could hardly keep track of things like this, but Fae was still mad at the boar none the less for being more evasive than ever. Fae lunged at the boar quickly, getting one quick successful slash in finally. Fae dove over the boar after slashing it to stay out of it's way. Fae looked over at Hei and noticed that he had lost a little bit of HP"Mister Hei! Do you want to finish it off? Fae is getting super duper tired." Fae asked, taking a few steps away from the bull.

Hei who had been hit by the boar quite hard, was not to happy how this battle was going, when Fae ran once again, but this time actually hitting it, Hei was happy. This was what he was aiming for, the small girl would get the training and feeing of success she needed, but when he saw how little damage the attack had dealt and when she at least had finally hit it, made him rethink his choice of putting away his weapon. Especially when Fae told him, that she was getting tired from the fighting he was unhappy about his decision. "I'll get my weapon and try to finish it of afterwards, if you want you can try to land one more hit before that." The part with telling Fae that was the easier one, as he had to open his menu and navigate to the inventory to equip his weapon, while an angry boar with the taste of his blood followed him, trying to land some heavy attacks on him, but he was able to successfully dodge the sparse attacks and finally he had his weapon in hand. "Now I'll kill you in one blow" he said, while he faced the boar that was running at him.

Fae watched Hei take his weapon back out while she caught her breath after her previous attack. The boar missed Hei yet again, and Fae stood up straight after catching her breath. He told her to attack one last time before he finished it off Fae nodded and charged at the boar again, swinging her dagger back before slashing forward at the boar, getting a nice clean cut on the side. "Yeah! Fae did it again mister Hei!" Fae cheered as she ran past the boar after slashing it to avoid any attacks. Fae ran up to Hei and stood beside him to catch her breath again. She didn't sit down, but she just leaned up against Hei for a few seconds. "This boar is almost through mister Hei, you got this!" Fae cheered Hei on, raising her fist into the air, it barely reaching Hei's shoulder because of her height.

The moment Hei was ready to finish the boar, Fae followed his advice and attacked it once more, just for the training she could get from it. The slashing hit she landed on the boar was a good one, and Hei was happy to see her cheering up again and being as lively as she had been when the fight had started. "Yeah, that was a really good attack. You can become a great fighter if you continue to train" Fae didn't even forget to get some distance between herself and the mob after attacking, and so Hei was seeing the potential she had, even though she was still so small. After she had caught her breath Fae ran up to him and leaned against him, cheering for him to end the fight. With the small girl at his side, Hei had to stand his ground and kill the boar without jumping aside, but he was ready for that, so when the boar charged at him once again, he strengthened his stance and simply thrust forward the spear, stabbing it all the way through the boar, but he had not the weapon one should use this type of attack with, as the boar continued to move towards him, even with being impaled and it reached Hei's hand, landing a massive bite. If Hei had been weaker this could have been a problem, but with his high HP, the damage was not even worth mentioning.

Fae watched as Hei got bit by the boar and she flinched a little bit. Despite that Hei had a large health bar that was still in the green, Fae couldn't help but feel bad for him, knowing that the pain was still at least slightly present. Hei took out the boar on his next hit, and Fae clapped a few times. "Good job mister Hei! You finally took out that speedy boar!" Fae applauded, giving him a thumbs up before running up to him and wrapping her arms around him. She tried to lift him up, but could only get him about half an inch off the ground before falling backwards and rolling back on the ground. Fae sat up and laughed a little bit before standing up. "Fae thought she could pick you up, but Fae isn't strong enough at all." Fae said as she walked back up to Hei and looked up at him with her smile.

It was over, finally they had killed the boar! Hei had never thought that a weak mob like this could have been such a problem and annoyance for him, and so he was happy that he had finally killed it, and not just that, he had protected the small girl and she had even landed a few good attacks. "Yeah, I did" was all he was able to say, before the little girl that had just thumbs upped him ran at him and tried to lift him of his feet, failing with what she was trying to do. She fell to the ground, but as she was laughing down there, it couldn't be to bad. Hei had nearly fallen to the ground too, but his combat training had helped him to keep on his feet, just staggering a little. He was about to ask her, what that should have been, but before he could ask she told him, that she had thought she would have been able to pick him up, but wasn't. Hei still didn't know why she had done it, but looking down into the smiling little face he couldn't asker her.

The small part of anger that had rose in him disappeared and he was just happy to have met her and to be with someone that friendly and lively in a game like that. He would take care of her, so her high spirits wouldn't ever get taken from her by this game. The only question was how was he going to do that, and he had to think about this question, so he simply acted without thinking first. "You might not be strong enough now, but you will become strong. And till then, I'll protect you" and just to show her, that he was strong enough for that, he picked up the little girl and put her onto his shoulders.

Fae couldn't help but feel the need to explain what she was trying to do when she tried to pick up Hei. "Fae was trying to pick you up and twirl you like an airplane. Fae's daddy does that whenever Fae does something good, so Fae wanted to try and do it with you since you killed that boar." Fae explained, while scratching the back of her head and laughing a little bit more. Fae just had thought of the idea of doing it, despite the fact that Hei was more than double her size. It could never hurt to try things like that.

Hei told Fae that he would protect her until she was strong enough and she nodded her head. "Ooh! So you'll be like Fae's big brother? Just watching out for Fae? That sounds like fun!" Fae exclaimed, getting excited at the idea. Fae felt herself being lifted up and put on Hei's shoulders, making her laugh even more out of joy. "Fae can see so high from here! Thank you mister Hei!" Fae thanked, enjoying the view from his shoulders.

Before Hei had picked up the little girl, she had tried to explain her behaviour, and to Hei's surprise there was a deeper meaning behind what she had done. It hand't just been the small girls attempt to something she had wondered about, but it was connected to some precious memories of her father. Having heard that, he was sure that the small girl would miss her dad really bad, but he couldn't change this.

Taking Fae upon his shoulders had made her laugh and scream of joy and she had been super happy for him to help her. When she had said that he would be like her bigger brother, his heart had skipped a beat, but he didn't know why. It wasn't that he had have a sister in the real world, or any idea what being a big brother was like, but he was just happy to become a part of Fae's life. When she then had added, that she could see really far from up his shoulders, he had smiled and started walking back to town. "You know, we can do things like this more often in the future. Where are you staying right now, just so i know where to bring you." he asked her while they were walking back, he carrying Fae on his shoulders.

Fae looked up at the sky, and then back at the town, taking in the view. Fae kept her hands on Hei's head, leaning forward a little bit as she looked around to keep her balance. Hei told her that they could do more things like this in the future, which just got Fae more excited. "Oh boy, we can? That's great! Fae loves having fun with you mister Hei, you're so nice." Fae said, ruffling up his hair a little bit as Hei carried her back to town.

Fae paused for a little bit when Hei asked her where she was staying, so he knew where to bring her. "Umm, Fae doesn't really have a place mister Hei, Fae has just been staying at inns. You can just drop Fae off at one of them if that's okay with you." Fae answered, before humming to herself as she took in the view again.

When they arrived in town, Hei's more or less chaotic hairstyle had become way more chaotic, as Fae had held to his head while walking and also ruffled his hair up when he had told her, that they would be doing more fun stuff together. He was happy that his hair never had been a real haircut, so it wasn't bad that she had destroyed that look, and he was fluttered that the small girl told him that she loved having fun with him.
Once they had arrived in town and he had asked her, where she was staying, Fae had told him, that she had no place to go, and that she had just used the various inns in town. Hei was worried about that being good for her, and how it could lead to problematic situations, she he told her "Nah, it's not really ok with me. How could I drop you of around all these people neither I nor you know. This isn't the live someone like you should have. How about you stay at the hanger tonight and we will see if I can find a better place for you than some inn?" and he walked towards the hanger, as even if she said she didn't want to go there, he could always bring her to the inn closest to his place.

Fae nodded in agreement when Hei objected to dropping her off at an inn with nobody either of them knew. "Yeah, Fae never thought about that. Fae will go with you instead mister Hei. You're a good guy, not a stranger." Fae said in agreement with Hei as he started to walk back towards the hanger. It seemed like almost everyone she met was super nice to her. Fae was liking Hei a lot more than most, just because he seemed nicer than most others.

Fae shook her head when Hei said that he would see if they could find her a better place than some inn. "No, Fae wants to stay with you mister Hei! I know you won't hurt Fae, so Fae wants to stay with you!" Fae exclaimed, sitting up straight now. She took her hands of Hei's head and let them fall to her sides as she loiked forward. Fae could see the shop again, hopefully where she could stay for a while.

After he had mentioned that there were many different people she wouldn't know and there always were shady guys, Fae had agreed that staying at a random inn wasn't something for her, and that she would rather come with him. This made for a small problem, as he hadn't have a second room that wasn't his shop, but he would find a solution to that. For today, Fae could have his bed and he would make camp on his tailors table. He had told her, that he would look for a better place for her to stay, but she objected that she would stay with him, so that was settled even though he had to do some changes. "Alright, you can stay at my place for tonight, you even get to use my bed while I'll sleep downstairs in my workshop. And tomorrow we will look for someone who can craft you a bed, so you can have your own. Doesn't that sound good?"

While he was really happy to have the small girl in his life, Hei was sure that it meant a lot of difficulties and changes to his life as it had been, but he was more then welcoming them. The life as a solo player and all days tailor wasn't that great. The sole part had changed once he had encountered the guild, but he still was doing a lot of boring tailor stuff, but this would probably change once Fae had really chosen to stay at his place. Maybe he would get to play with her and he would definitely have to cook or buy better food, as what he was eating right now was more for the sole purpose of eating and nothing much more. He thought about all this while they were on the way back, and once they had arrived Hei had lead the small girl upstairs into his room. "Here you go, this will be your bed for today. And if there is anything I can help you with, just ask"

Fae got off off of Hei's shoulders once they arrived at the hanger and she started to cool down on her excitedness once they walked inside of the shop. Hie told her that she could sleep on his bed while he would sleep in his workshop and that they would get a bed for her tomorrow, to which Fae nodded her head. "Okey dokey mister Hei. Fae can't wait for tomorrow then! It'll be just as fun as today was, just hopefully no meanie boar." Fae hugging Hei tightly for a few seconds before following him upstairs.

Once Hei had led Fae into his room, he told her that the bed would be hers for today. "Can you sleep Fae tonight please mister Hei? Pretty pretty please? Fae doesn't like sleeping alone. The dark is scary." Fae asked, tugging at Hei's arm a little bit, not wanting him to leave.

Once they had arrived, Fae had jumped off his shoulders and the little girl had walked besides him when they entered the Hanger. In there, she had told him that she couldn't wait the day after, and that it would be just as good as the day they had had today. Hei had to grin a little, as he hadn't thought the day had been this great for Fae, but it seemed he was wrong. Then she had hugged him and him tightly and Hei had not know what to do. - This feels so strange. I haven't had a sister in the real word, but I believe this is what it would have felt like when she would have hugged me. But what is the right way to react to this? -  He was still wondering how he should react to this, when Fae let go of him and made her way up the stairs with him. "I hope we don't have to fight our way through a mean boar like today to get a bed for you. But don't you worry, even it if would been a dragon, i would fight it for you."

Then they had reached Hei's bedroom and he had shown her the bed, but it seemed she wouldn't want him to go. Asking him to stay with her, as she was afraid of the darkness. He had heard of this behaviour, even without ever being afraid of the darkness himself. "Are you sure? I could let the light burn on a low fire, then it wouldn't really be dark" but Hei was sure that that was not what she really wanted, so he was thinking about how to do what was coming. Coming to the decision, that he would maybe cuddle with the small girl till she was asleep and then he would sleep on the floor next to the bed. He had enough soft fabric and even a second mattress he hadn't thought of, so this wouldn't be a problem for him.
