[Floor 1 - Apprentice Alchemist (R2)] The Smoking Cauldron

Welcome to "The Smoking Cauldron"

Near to the west gate of the >town of beginning< is a little two-storeyed shop, made out of dark oak wood. On the roof is a little smoking chimney and at the forefront of the shop are four windows, two per storey. Over the entrance hangs a wooden sign with the title >>The Smoking Cauldron<<. Beside the door stood a flowerpot, shaped as a cauldron with some plants in it. Inside, the shop is filled with green light which stems from big vines which are growing in some plant pot´s at the window boards. At the wall to your right are two shelves also with some plant pot´s. To your left is a couch with a tittle table. At the table is a stack of paper with some notes. Towards the door is a fireplace with a cauldron and a counter, full with pencils and alchemistic things, like phial´s, mortars and other things. Behind the counter are stairs leading up to attic where Saphira has her bed room.

Saphira woke up with the first ray of the dawn. - Oh man, it is so early... - she thought while she stood up and walked to the window at the east side. Saphira gaped and begun to walk down the stairs. Downstairs she looked around - I need some books - she thought - but how much will they cost? - Saphira opened her inventory and took her  "Apron of Change" out and her armour inside. Then she walked behind the counter. - I think it is time for my first salve - she said with a smile on her face. Again she opened her inventory and took one T1 materials out. She regarded the material, a little pale yellow flower *sigh* - Lets go! -
As she tried to made a salve out of the material, something unexpected happened: the brewage took the colour of mud on - Oho, this definite don´t look good... - And as she tried to save the material, it didn´t work. - Damn it! But what should I had expect of my first try...before I try it again I should search some materials - . She took her armour on, walked out of the shop and closed the door.

When Hei had heard that Saphira had opened her own shop, he wanted to be the first to pay her a visit, so he was leaving early. He hadn't had breakfast, so he looked for a bakery on his way over to the smoking cauldron and got a few rolls for them to eat together, when he thought, that it might be a good idea to bring a gift to Saphira to show her how happy he was that she had started her own thing. So he returned to the Hanger and looked though his stuff until he saw a green dragon plushie, he took it of the shelf and made his way back to the cauldron.

Entering the shop, Hei was impressed by how cosy and at the same time strange the workshop part of the shop looked. There were plants everywhere and he saw a big cauldron that was used to craft potions. When he saw Saphira, he greeted her "Hey Saphira, what a nice place you have here. I brought something for you, as a kind of gift." and with this words, he handed her the green plush dragon, that would not just look super cute in this shop, but also would help her with crafting. Now that he had handed over the gift, he had a closer look at the shop and soon found the order forms, he took one and filled it in. He handed it to her and said "It would be nice, if you could craft this for me."

Saphira sat on her couch and was half asleep as she heared someone coming in. Saphira sit up and looked to door, wondering who was her possible customer. Hei had entered the room and looked around, as he saw her he greeted. - HEIIIIIII!!! - she said happy, jumped up and hugged him. - Nice to see you - she said still smiling - Yeah, it is really a nice place - . She looked at the plush dragon - Oh man, he is so cute. Thank you. - she hugged him again - Sorry for hugging you so glomp - . She looked again at Hei - Sure I will craft the potion for you, or at least I will try it - she said after Hei asked her about crafting a potion for him. Saphira was still happy, that Hei visited her in the new shop. After a few minutes she asked him - Do you want to sit down? The couch is really cosy - . She smiled again and took a seat - I am sorry, but I have nothing like tea or something little to eat. I think next time I search for materials I should also search for some common yarrow. -

Her last try to craft something was long ago and since Saphira wanted to do the familiar quests she needed something from an alchemist, also it was time to bring her 'Smoking Cauldron' back to live, - he actually was never really alive... - she thought and looked around. Saphira walked behind the counter and start to put the needed things on it, like mortar and pestle, a small knife to cut things and a few vessels then she took on her apron. After a short look on her materials she took two and start her attempt to make two salves out of them. The first of the two attempts was quiet good, she was able to make a useful salve out of the material, the second attempt wasn't that good, Saphira wasn't able to make a salve out of the material but she managed to save the used material before it was to late for it.

After a short breakfast Saphira begun to water the plants in her shop. As she had finished watering the plants, Saphira made a fire in the fireplace behind the counter, took on her apron and start to prepare everything for two new attempts of crafting some salves, at least she hoped, that it would work to craft some new salves. Her first attempt ended in a fail, maybe it was the item she had recycled the day before...the second craft was much better, she was also able to create a copy of it. With a small smile on her lips she started to clean the workplace and put the salves on a safe place.

Another day, another craft, hopefully...After Saphira had ate something she begun to work in her shop. She cleaned the floor and the place where the customers could take a seat. After she finished cleaning she walked behind the counter which was her working place and prepared everything for making a salve. She took her apron and her scarf on, if it wouldn't work her scarf would help her to save the item she used. But this time she wasn't as lucky as the day before, her attempt to make another salve was a fail and she wasn't able to save the item.

Early Saphira left the house she lived now in and made her way down to the first floor, where she had her shop. She had gathered some materials and wanted to try it once more to craft the salve she needed. Saphira reached her shop. After she had made a fire in the chimney under the big cauldron, Saphira begun to water the plants and prepared everything. As every preparation the water in the cauldron slowly starts to boil and she begun with the actually brewing for her salves. But as she had finished the brewing, the future salves didn't turned out like she had wished, at least one of the two was useable. Saphira hoped, that she would be more successful at the next day.

Another day, another try. Since Saphira wasn't able to craft what she needed the day before she needed to give it another try. Hoping, that she would be successful this time she start to heat the water in her cauldron, begun to pestle some herbs and prepared several vessels for the herbs which needed to soak for a moment in the boiling water. While a few herds were in the boiling water, she start to cut some other, after this was done, she put the herbs in her cauldron the colore looked good, then she put the last one in and to colore turned, something was wrong. Experienced, she managed to save the herbs and put them out again. Saphira cleaned the cauldron and tried it again, but it was the same end, her third try was gladly a success.
