[SP-F19] Eyes of A Crow

Recommended Posts

Crozeph was only a few miles from the settlement. He had to keep his pace if he wants to reach the safe zone, but that wouldn't sound like him. Crozeph stopped at one of the ruins 15 feet away from him. Crozeph walked towards the area calmly, inspecting every area of enemies. As he tries to scan the are of any dangers, Crozeph spotted a treasure chest. Crozeph walked towards it, trying to contain his excitement. Crozeph looked around him and it seems no one is around, he had what it has for himself. Though whatever is inside is not enough for him to risk his life. Crozeph lowered himself before the chest and began to figure out how to open it.

Crozeph slowly opened the chest, keeping himself on the safe side. He has heard from rumors that overjoyed players are often killed by the mimic who copies the appearance of a treasure chest. Crozeph didn't want the same mistake to happen to him. Crozeph slowly turned the top of the chest while keeping his left hand on the hilt of his sword. It seemed hours of nervousness for him but after he fully opened the chest, the spoils are laid before him. Crozeph nodded his head in approval, he was containing his excitement at what he just obtained. He now has more than what he expected and most of all got it without putting himself in peril. Crozeph grabbed the items and then proceeded on his way back to the settlement.

Crozeph entered the settlement in a rather good mood. If it wasn't for the treasure chest, he'd be drinking himself to sleep even though there is no possibility to get drunk inside the game. The settled in the floor, The lights went up and the place was more livelier in the night than in day for Crozeph. If it wasn't a productive day for him, he'd be the one looking lifeless. Crozeph took a seat just outside a cafe and relaxed after a seemingly boring day that ended not so bad after all. There were better things to do but he could at least take a step up. Crozeph thought hard for a minute about his loot "the materials will surely help Hestia, I just have to make a reasonable combination of col and mats for anything that I want to be made by her" he muttered to himself. There is also the much more resilient item that he found, it is unidentified but Crozeph knew that he can take something good out of it. "I just have to keep the eyes of the crow with me at all times"  he told himself. Crozeph knew that he'd be able to help a few with what he has but right now he has to make his way back to his shop.

Crozeph stood in front of a portal, he was going to return to his shop and from then on search for a dungeon and a familiar. Whatever comes first is beyond what he could think of, let tomorrow worry for itself is what he would probably say. Crozeph gave a faint smile at the plans inside his head and as he uttered which floor he was going. The day might have started dull but at least he gained something out of his explorations once again.
