Shield had felt a number of unpleasant battle effects, but electricity was one of the more distracting ones. As a tank, his attention was not as necessary on his specific tasks, but as a supporter, it was crucial. He shook off the effect, taking a bit of damage in the process. However, no sooner had he turned his eyes back down to the battle readout before him than another arc of electricity jumped from Zandra to him.

"Oh, son of a b-b-b-b-"

His arms and jaw tensed once more, but he fought to keep his composure. Regardless, he could see in the chaos that the bleed-centered buff was no longer abating after the Bleed enhancement subsided.

He's got a low-health heal buff. Probably permanent as long as he's below a certain threshold. 

Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed Beat's weapon had changed. It was a logical move given the information they had at the time, but with the effect now permanently in place, there was no need to nerf his damage, especially so close to the end. He charged across the field, stopping in Beat's line of fire so that his back was to the young spear-man. He called back over his shoulder. "Easy, Beat! He's not going down immediately anyways. Swap out. Take your better weapon. Do this properly."

Electricity flashed across his shoulder, causing the arm to tense. He lowered himself into a horse stance, refilling his lungs and belting out with the force of a gale, "Someone isn't looking as pretty as he did a few seconds ago! What's the matter!? Don't like it when we muss your mane!?"

Bialas charges towards the player with the highest hate in the target group, and chooses a secondary target based on the LD of the attack roll (re-roll LD in the case of landing on the main target). Uses both the BD (target 1) and MD (target 2) and gains +1 ACC for this attack. On a hit, deals 275 DMG (135 minimum) to the main target and 175 DMG (85 minimum) to the secondary target.

Ability 2: Shockwave 
[Activates on a CD 9-12] [5 Turn CD] [Prioritizes over Trample]
Bialas sends a massive surge of energy through the ground towards the target party. Rolls a MD against each player, dealing 150 DMG (75 minimum) on a hit. If a player is wearing heavy armor, they instead take 200 DMG (100 minimum). Applies <<Static Charge>> on a LD result of 11-20, regardless of the result of the attack (no effect on players who already have the debuff).

Ability 3: Defiled Blood
[Passive]
The following will trigger <<Defiled Blood>> to activate:

  • For the duration of any Bleed effects on Bialas.
  • When boss reaches 30% HP

At the beginning of Bialas’ turn, heals 225 HP.

Ability 4: Nova Bolt 
[Activates on a CD 1-3] [3 Turn CD (from completion)] [2 Post Actions] [Prioritizes over Trample]
Bialas takes one turn to use his horn as a lightning rod, charging it with electrical energy. On the second turn, a devastating bolt of stored lightning is shot towards the player with the highest hate in the target group. Deals 300 DMG (150 minimum) and applies <<Static Charge>> on a hit. On a miss, this attack still deals 200 DMG (100 minimum).

Ability 5: Arc Lightning
[Uses every turn] [Free Action]
Applies the following debuff to three random players in the next target group:
<<Static Charge>>: At the beginning of your turn, roll a die with the Roll Purpose “Static Charge”. The following happens based on the CD result:

  • 1-5: The effect spreads! You end up touching or getting close enough to another party member for them to gain the <<Static Charge>> debuff. The effect then deals 100 unmitigatable DMG, or 75 unmitigatable DMG if you have Survival active. The newly-affected player is determined by you, but must be someone who is not already affected by <<Static Charge>>.
  • 6-10: The effect deals 100 unmitigatable DMG, or 75 unmitigatable DMG if you have Survival active.
  • 11-12: The effect immediately ends, and no damage is taken.

If all players in a single party gain the <<Static Charge>> debuff, they each immediately take 100 unmitigatable DMG, or 75 unmitigatable DMG if they have Survival active, and the effect ends on all players.

The lightning struck hard against them, and the hunter could feel every bit of himself burning; not from pain as they couldn't feel it to begin with, but from rage and excitement.  Each new hit of electricity seemed to bring another familiar memory.  Why was he avoiding these shocks to his system?  He should be relishing in them.  However, such things have already put his health nearly below his 50% mark, and that was starting to ring warning bells in his mind.  Why was he having these thoughts now?  They were not needed at the moment, as they would only hamper his progression.

"..!"

Bursting forward into the creature was all he could do now, but with the boss healing itself every so often.  It seemed that they needed to go all out, and not worry about the others.  As if by command, the hunter passed by the katana wielder, Hakai, and his surge went straight to her while causing a slight discomfort.

"..."

Those thoughts troubled the hunter far more than he ever wished, but the end result was still the same.  His attack would hit where it needed to, and he cared more for the damage being absorbed soon than anything else.

Beat guarded himself out of instinct as the lightning blast struck him, taking another sizable chunk out of his health bar. He wasn't in any danger just yet, but he knew that he would need healing in fairly short order. With the boss glaring at them awaiting their retaliation, Beat's attention was drawn to the recent healing the boss was now enjoying. He nodded at Shield's words as he watched boss's health tick slowly upward a slight grimace on his face. 

"Man...I just want to smash a unicorn in the face with my spear..." He said with a smile, his joke cheering him up in preparation for the let down that was coming. He let out an exaggerated sigh as he flipped open his menu and swapped his weapons once again, "Ya know...there is a mod for this, but no, I took stamina...killing my deeps man!" With a pixelated shimmer, his feathered spear disappeared only to be replaced by the newest addition to his arsenal.

the might silver equine beast gazes towards the players that mock and glare at it within its weakened state the storm thundering and exploding with electric energy as it slams down upon the third group electrocuting the more fast members of the group proving that speed these players have can't match the speed of lightning. The equine beast slowly gets up onto its feet once more ignoring the wounds done by the green haired one and fixes its gaze firmly upon the loud metallic one as it loud out a loud scream before charging towards the tank slamming its body into the tanks armored form ignoring the pain it felt as electricity jumps from its charged body against the tank getting past the shield and heavy armor to shock the player to its core. After the attack the boss rushes past the tank in question and once more huffing and puffing turns itself slowly towards the third group. Its leg still shaking and the boss seeming to be in more pain then anything else as the electricity around it is becoming less and less while the storm just rampages more and more the bolts striking faster and harder and the electrical discharge spreading out farther leaving the black haired armored figure, and the small black cloaked one with electrical charges around them.

I gaze towards the boss as it has this really pitiful look as i gaze away from it not wanting to stare at the creature as it is clearly within pain as i move over towards Hidden quickly healing her up as much as i can. Not seeing the lightning till it struck Hidden as the electrical charge hits us both as i grit my teeth ignoring the byproduct of the electrical charge that passed into me as i heal up Hidden as best as i could do so. Once that is completed i just nod my head towards the girl with a kind smile figuring i don't need to say to the girl how to do her job as i back away to observe the fight with some curiosity as i wait to see what will occur from the fight. What the end of a boss fight will actually look like when it is defeated, and what occurs after a boss is killed by the gathered players. Only hoping that this boss' death can be quick not liking to see the poor creature within so much clear pain. Even if it is trying to kill them all still feeling that small tug at my heart strings at how natural it looks.

Hikoru watched the things unfold before him, and watched his parties HP drop. Although it wasn't much, he realised that Hidden was getting very low. He knew that this was her first raid, and without Sey here to help her she must have been a bit scared. He watched as Hestia healed her, and he nodded towards her. She had done her job of healing well, and he was glad that she was on his party team. He craned his neck a bit, as he felt that the electricity was starting to make him feel a bit rigid, then he charged forward. He leapt into the air, stabbing and landing onto the back of the horse. He finished his sword art as he stood onto the back, kicking off it's neck to his party, adding a bit of flare to his attack near the end as to make sure to gain a little bit of attention towards the creature.

"Alright, that should've ticked him off." He said with a chuckle. He looked to Hidden and gave her a nod "You got this, just keep strong. This is taking all of our health out bit by bit, but i'm sure Hestia will keep you good. Just hit it like last time, and finish off this horse." He said with a small smile. He was proud with how far she had come, and he turned back to face the giant horse, watching for the lightning and doing his best to prepare to move.

The bosses health began to drop bt by bit, and by the time it was their time to attack again, it had half of a bar remaining. Meaning, the boss would only probably give them a chance to attack one turn after the current. She began to dart forward, her dagger beginning to glow an orange hue as she charged forward. However a blast of white light was seen again and she flung herself to the side, forcing the bolt to miss her. Before her joy was long however, another bolt struck, striking her midsection. Tendrils of electricity shot through her body, her body beginning to convulse from the amount of energy being poured into it. As the tendrils subsided, she realized she had been on the ground. Pushing herself up back onto her feet, Hestia would be rushing to her, bringing up her health bar. She had been in yellow and was quickly nearing red. Without Hestia, she would have already been dead. "Im in debt," the girl said as Hestia moved back away. As she began to stumble forward, trying to shake off the effects of the lightning, Hikoru stepped to her side and she gazed up at his face, her nose becoming partially visible from faint light that pushed into her hood. He told her to remain strong and keep fighting like she had. She nodded and pulled out the last health crystal that she had owned. She would have to resort to potions if things got any worse. She crushed it in her hand and then charged the bossThe boss was beginning to move rampantly, thrashing about. She tried to begin to make an attack, but the previous electrical shocks and the static electricity was beginning to wear down on her. Her energy was quickly decreasing and her fatigue increasing.

Itzal heard the storm rumble and stood with his shoulders sagging.  Oh no, he thought.  Not again.  This time it was twice as bad.  One hundred and forty lightning strikes hitting him all in the span of three seconds.  He fell to the ground but he refused to be down for good.  He struggled to get up, unable to hear the others as his hearing had gone deaf temporarily.  Itzal stumbled when he got up, falling to the ground again.  Velnia spotted him and flew over, helping to lift him up to his feet.  When she did she helped guide him closer to the boss as he started to pick up momentum.  Itzal soon had enough strength to run and slash his sword through the boss, dealing one hundred and seventy damage.  He then tripped and rolled across the ground, coming to a halt and just lying there.  He closed his eyes.  He wasn't doing much to contribute anyway.  They had this completely covered without him.  He wasn't much use.  So he would lie here and rest, letting his body recover from the insane amount of lightning strikes.

Jonathan watched as another bout of storms began to strike, striking Itzal and the two players of Shadows. The power of the lightning was horrible. Hikoru took the volts the best, going rigid for a bit but managing to strike forward. Hidden was struck and convulsed before managing to get up but stumbling and unable to make another successful attack. Her health was becoming lower than he had seen any player's in a while. Hestia tended to her and he looked to Itzal who managed to strike, but fell to the ground, eyes closed and slowly breathed. Jonathan swore and moved forward, throwing down his sword to pick up the man with both arms. He turned the man to face him and shook him until he looked at his eyes. "I know it is hard, but if you don't get up, we have a player that entered the two hundred hit point zone just a second ago. Our duty is to save her and ensure nobody dies from this! Now get up and be the steeled man we all know you are" Ensuring the man had a good hold on standing before moving, he left Itzal and retrieved his sword and readied himself for attack. He charged forward, swiping his weapon at the impending boss

A surge of strength jolted throw the blond's body as he began to attack. "YOU WON'T KILL ANYONE!" He shouted, slashing through the enemy, dealing a good amount of damage.

The silver equine beast feels multiple slices through its body as the next group had tore through its defenses as it glares at the yellow one letting out a loud whinny of declaration it charges towards the tank player but misses him in the end. Quickly after turning to make his way back towards the first group and then slowing to a stop as it gazes towards the next group huffing and puffing as the black stormy clouds crackle and boom loudly one after the others lighting up the rather dark room with the lightning and deafening most of the noise made with the repeated thunder claps echoing throughout the room. Soon after lightning strikes down once more striking two of the players as the electrical charges spread out wards leaving the electricity upon two players who weren't hit and one who was. The silvery beast gazing onto the group with a defiant look not wishing for the pain to end anymore. Just wishing to distribute as much as it can within its last breathes.

The boss was finally coming towards its end... however it didn't back down with the assault, and as a result... Ruby had took quite a bit of damage in return, Ruby had looked up to her HP bar and saw that it was in the red, this was the first time in a long long time she had seen her HP fall that low. And to be honest she was starting to feel scared, the purple haired healer began to shake a little... she didn't want to die here, a part of her felt... a little less confident, however she had looked around and back at the boss' HP bar and took a deep breath there was absolutely no way she was going to die here. Ruby had just taken the moment to move forward and attack the boss dealing as much chip damage as she could for the next person hopefully to wrap it all up... she was hoping to not take anymore damage than she needed to.

The big unicorn’s health was nearly fully depleted, Macradon was sure that the first party wouldn’t be able to take it out, so it seems like the second party will get the last hit drop from his boss. Macradon didn’t mind too much, he already had a few boss drops that he had at his disposal, so just as it is now, Macradon would just focus on clearing the floor, that was easier in theory than in practice, for Macradon didn’t connect his attack onto Bialas. Even with the aid of his familiar Belphegor, Macradon was unable to get a hit onto the unicorn, missing the attack as it trampled throughout the battlefield, making it nearly impossible for Belphegor to grab a hold of it, and Macradon to land a hit upon it. “Dammit” he cursed, somewhat audible through his visor as he just saw the unicorn trample by him, without taking any damage from him this time.

Olive eyes peeled from what remained of the health bar that hovered just beyond Bialas' flank when another crack of thunder caught his attention. Bright bolts of lightning dropped from the sky, leaving the Irishman to barely dodge out of the way of the one aimed for him. Across from him, however, he watched as both Ruby and Telrenya were struck by the lightning, each of their health bars dropping down into the red as well. "Stel!" Jomei shouted out as he watched his fiance's health drop-- this wasn't looking good.. one more hit like that and it would be over for her, and they still had an attack from the boss to anticipate. 

Ruby, on the other hand, was quick to recover from the lightning strike, and took her anger out on Bialas with a powerful punch. The attack was enough to knock half of what remained of its health down. "My turn." Jomei said under his breath through grit teeth as Oathkeeper ignited in a brilliant golden hue. Brown boots carried him forward, slowly picking up speed. The Irishman could feel the effects of the Static Shock surging through his body, causing him discomfort and knocking his health down slightly, yet it was not long before his Battle Healing skill took effect and replenished what was lost. 

The man's boots kicked up dirt as he skid to a stop just beside the beast, yet his blade continued forward to pierce the side of the unicorn's body. Jomei riddled the silvery skin of the boss with deep red and white gashes, cutting up what remained of the powerful Storm Warden. Turning on his heel, Jomei delivered one last powerful thrust with his blade, piercing the neck of Bialas. All went silent to Jomei as the remaining red health disappeared, which was broken as Bialas let out one final pained screech.

Room Effect: Lightning Storm
At the beginning of the boss’ turn, bolts of lightning rain down on the players in the next target group. Bialas rolls a die for each player and refers to the CD to determine if they are struck:

  • 1-6: Struck! The player takes 300 unmitigatable DMG, or 225 unmitigatable DMG if they have Survival active.
  • 7-12: Miss! Nothing happens.

Players wearing heavy armor receive a -1 for this roll.
Players wielding a two-handed weapon receive a -1 for this roll.
Players with the Acrobatics mod active receive a +1 for this roll.

Ability 1: Trample [2/3] 
[3 Turn CD] [Uses whenever able, but will delay a turn to prevent hitting one group twice in a row]
Bialas charges towards the player with the highest hate in the target group, and chooses a secondary target based on the LD of the attack roll (re-roll LD in the case of landing on the main target). Uses both the BD (target 1) and MD (target 2) and gains +1 ACC for this attack. On a hit, deals 275 DMG (135 minimum) to the main target and 175 DMG (85 minimum) to the secondary target.

Ability 2: Shockwave 
[Activates on a CD 9-12] [5 Turn CD] [Prioritizes over Trample]
Bialas sends a massive surge of energy through the ground towards the target party. Rolls a MD against each player, dealing 150 DMG (75 minimum) on a hit. If a player is wearing heavy armor, they instead take 200 DMG (100 minimum). Applies <<Static Charge>> on a LD result of 11-20, regardless of the result of the attack (no effect on players who already have the debuff).

Ability 3: Defiled Blood
[Passive]
The following will trigger <<Defiled Blood>> to activate:

  • For the duration of any Bleed effects on Bialas.
  • When boss reaches 30% HP

At the beginning of Bialas’ turn, heals 225 HP.

Ability 4: Nova Bolt 
[Activates on a CD 1-3] [3 Turn CD (from completion)] [2 Post Actions] [Prioritizes over Trample]
Bialas takes one turn to use his horn as a lightning rod, charging it with electrical energy. On the second turn, a devastating bolt of stored lightning is shot towards the player with the highest hate in the target group. Deals 300 DMG (150 minimum) and applies <<Static Charge>> on a hit. On a miss, this attack still deals 200 DMG (100 minimum).

Ability 5: Arc Lightning
[Uses every turn] [Free Action]
Applies the following debuff to three random players in the next target group:
<<Static Charge>>: At the beginning of your turn, roll a die with the Roll Purpose “Static Charge”. The following happens based on the CD result:

  • 1-5: The effect spreads! You end up touching or getting close enough to another party member for them to gain the <<Static Charge>> debuff. The effect then deals 100 unmitigatable DMG, or 75 unmitigatable DMG if you have Survival active. The newly-affected player is determined by you, but must be someone who is not already affected by <<Static Charge>>.
  • 6-10: The effect deals 100 unmitigatable DMG, or 75 unmitigatable DMG if you have Survival active.
  • 11-12: The effect immediately ends, and no damage is taken.

If all players in a single party gain the <<Static Charge>> debuff, they each immediately take 100 unmitigatable DMG, or 75 unmitigatable DMG if they have Survival active, and the effect ends on all players

As the shining gold rapier pierced through Bialas' throat, the rumbling of the clouds above ceased for a moment, and silence fell over the battlefield. Wild red eyes slowed their frantic motions and focused on the ground in front of them. With one, pained neigh, the legs that held up the silver unicorn gave out, and the boss fell to its side. As the body of the nearly lifeless beast hit the grass of the meadow, one last bolt of lightning -- one more powerful than any seen during the fight to this point -- crashed down from the sky, striking what remained of the boss, causing its body to shatter into thousands of data fragments that rained down to the ground. A second, unexpected bolt of lightning, struck a tree just beyond the meadow where the players stood. As the bark of the giant tree split, it revealed a wooden staircase that lead upwards to the next floor, where new adventure awaited.
