A woman in a dark black cloak stood in front of the city gates. The soldiers prevented her entering, but the quest NPC would be coming out for her. Ever since her gain of the Orange Cursor, she had gained a desire for increasing her own power tremendously. She had worked on mastering her First and Second Blades. Her first blade, the dagger. She increased her power of it with in game experience and the overtime gained ability to learn movement patterns of monsters  and player weapons. Her second blade was the element of surprise. A second blade was never actually a weapon, but instead a skill that a person possessed to unnerve or cause another person to shut down. Most women's second blade was charm. Many women were beautiful and elegant, making many men fall for her and opening weaknesses in them. Hidden was always ashamed in her own body but had found somebody to appreciate her for who she was. Sey. He was the second reason she wanted to become stronger. Every day, she became more able to protect the both of them. Also, she found she rather liked having the orange cursor. Players were never lax around her, but instead always cautious and ready for a fight. This meant she could have conversations that were straight to the point, and she could get answers out of many players due to fear.

She didn't have to wait long before a man wearing heavy armor and a green cloak came out of the Settlement. Despite his strong appearance, his face was of fear an apprehension. It didn't seem to be directed at her. Perhaps he was afraid of the quest monster. "Spill any information of the beast and tell me my rewards" The man nodded and pointed towards the main attraction of the floor. Castle Blackwatch. The castle had been run down and undead monsters roamed it. "Up in Castle Blackwatch, a powerful king has been rallying the undead armies. I fear if not taken care of, they will turn on Stonewall and kill  everyone here! We've sent people to deal with it, but they say it is very powerful and can bring down large portions of health with its blade. The scouts don't report it to be very accurate, so if one were to dodge its attacks they could fight efficientlyHidden nodded, stayed to lsiten for the rewards and turned toward the castle. It seemed obvious that she had not the defensive properties to take a ton of hits from the creature. If she managed to dodge half of its attacks however, she could deal enough damage before it killed her.

<<Equipped Hidden Attire with Shadow's Mist attached

She exited the area, immidiately scrolling through her inventory. She understood know that being evasive was the best thing she could be. She clicked on her first ever cloak, Shadow's Mist and equipped it. Satisfied with her equips, she moved forward, heading toward the dark looming castle that wasn't too far away. Within ten minutes, she stood at its edge, prepared for a fight. This quest would not be easy by any means. She would have to work with what she could. there was an arena like area that stood before her in front of the castle. She took a breath, moving into the arena. She passed under an  arch of rusted metal as she moved to the center. As she stood there, no monsters greeted her. The silence of the floor was eerie. "This is where I am supposed to be" she said reassuringly to herself. As soon as the words escaped her lips, metal gates dropped closed, preventing an exit. An unarmored Skeleton dropped over the side of the walls, landing on the ground with a thud. It stood straight, showing that it wielded a straight sword. "A test of strength I presume?"

It wasn't long before the skeleton began its advance, moving in on the cloaked girl. Though, with her Mist cloak she moved much faster and her target couldn't easily tell exactly where she was. She was actually a foot to the left from what her enemy saw. Her cloak distorted her image and quickened her won speed. She charged forward, her dagger gleaming orange as she prepared to start low and spiral up her opponent with her own dagger. Her enemy swung his weapon, her easily manuevering around it. She slashed her dagger, working her way around her enemy before leaping up, dragging her weapon upwards. AS she landed back onto the ground she kicked backwards, distancing herself from the enemy. She stood back up from her crouch, loosening her body. Her stance was flimsy and predictable. Her prideful nature made her believe that even unprepared, her enemy would not hit her. She was better than it. She would eventually be the strongest in Aincrad, wiping out frontliners if she willed it. Everyone would understand her strength.

The skeleton began his attack again, moving at her. Its  bones made a crunching noise as it moved, letting her know of movements. She managed to make note of the differenct in sound between the arms and legs. Her next target was for a head shot for an attempt to crush its skull. It would probably be an instant death if its head was crushed. Perhaps it could function without, she didn't know. The enemy swung its sword, her eyes quickly noticing an exposure to its body if she could get past the sword, the chances were iffy. she tried to throw herself downward to avoid the incoming blade. She slid under the enemy's  weapon, and pushed herself back up, using the momentum to upperslash her opponent. Her blow broke apart  of a few bones, mainly ribs. It felll back, clutching the broken areas but quickly recovering and moving back to a fighting position. It was another successful change over.

She stood at the ready, though her stance was rather relaxed. 'My enemy is one hit from death. I can finish it off here without a scratch. Talk about having no competition'. The skeletal warrior, despite nearing death, charged her once again. Hidden knew this was its last chance at an attack. If it had read her previous two attacks at all, it would have noticed she dodged by going underneath. She would dodge and attack from overhead now to throw it off to give her an opening for an attack. She  readied herself, bounding at her opponent as he charged her. As he came in range, she leapt straight upwards, spinning her body through the air. She completed a front flip before landing onto the ground. She would spin on her heel and then thrust her dagger at where she perceived the skeleton to be standing. Her dagger met its mark, stabbing the back of its head. The dagger moved through the skull splintering it as it passed through. The skeleton would then proceed to disperse  into shards, leaving Hidden to herself in the arena.

As soon as the last enemy fell, another took its place, dropping into the arena. If the point was to wear down her energy, it was working. She might be able to take one more enemy before finally she would have to take a breather. As her next enemy stood, she gave it no more chance to be able to successfully fight her. She dashed forward at it, aiming to break its arm that it used to swing its sword. As she got near she plunged her dagger where the arm connected to the body, with an attempt to break it. Despite her speed, the sketon managed to grab her arm, pushing it away from his body. He would then attempt to strike her with his sword but she managed to shift directions quickly. She retreated a bit, understanding that her greatest attempt at finishing the battle instantly had just diminished. . A full out battle would have to ensure. She took a second to wonder where the boss was. She would have expected it to be him and only him to drop down. She didn't expect a bunch of fodder to get in her way.

Her and her opponent, now locked in a death match, faced eachother with pure seriousness. "Realizing how outclassed you are? should've stayed out after seeing what happened to your friend" She smirked and kneeled down to pick up a rock. She smiled to her opponent before tossing it ten feet up into the air. While her opponent was distracted with the item that she threw, she kicked off the ground and dust flew into the air as she began a quick stride to her enemy. Her weapon took on a reddish hue  as a quick quarrel began. She thrust her weapon forward, puncturing its bone. Its weapon sailed towards her face before it abrubtly stopped going wretched. "Only Paralyzed. You got rather lucky i'd say" She stepped away from her opponent and its limp form on the ground. After a minute passed she smirked and said, "Done yet? I think you've spent enough time down there, don't you think?"

The skeleton would stand again, and a smirk would come to her face. It began to head towards her with a sword in hand. Her weapon began to reglow its orange aura as she prepared to attack the skeleton. It would have been nice to have Sey around for this, but he had decided he would wait out Aincrad instead of helping them complete it. She would have joined him but would have lost her mind. No matter how much she loved Sey, it would take plenty of willpower to sit around and do nothing with him until the end. This was also one of the few places she was allowed to do whatever she pleased. Her time here in Aincrad had been better than any time in her life.

Refocusing on the battle, her eyes would widen and she sidestep an oncoming blade. 'That was close. I better stop thinking like that or else I'll have another flashback right in the middle of a quest. That wouldn't be good at all' She charged her opponent, her body becoming a whirlwind of destruction. She would feel her weapon grazing a blade, but her weapon never hit the skeleton's body. Gritting her own teeth she would leap away.

Becoming bored, Hidden would once again become a flash  as she darted towards her opponent. The skeletal warrior would swing his weapon to intercept her, but she would dodge by leaping to sail over the enemy's head. Landing on the ground with both feet, she would turn and begin her attack again. Spinning into a whirlwind, she would dig her weapon into her opponents back. The skeletons health would drop, forcing it farther into the yellow zone. It would fall to the ground, dropping its sword. 'You're just so brittle. How did you ever plan on" The skeleton would quickly turn, slashing at her with its sword. The sword would be blocked with her dagger, a tempest being created by the immediate stop of the weapon. "Tell me. How did you figure that would work? Where's your boss, I want a real challenge" She would push off the skeleton's weapon, surveying the area again for the boss.

Holding her weapon at the ready, she would step backwards from her opponent. This opponent was in her way. She needed to find the actual boss before she ran out of energy. She was running through her energy quite fast. She figured another attack and she would have completely gone through all of her energy. The skeleton would charge her again. 'Oh dear, here we go. The last of my energy' she would think to herself as she dashed to meet the opponent in the middle. Her weaponw ould come into contact with the skeleton's sword, knocking it aside with ease. The, she would focus on precise stabs. She would thrust her weapon into the skeleton's arm join, effective knocking the bone from its body. Then, she would move into her wirlwind knocking down its health to a mere point before finishing with a thrust to knock off the head. The monster would disemberse in front of her, becoming shards of data. With a heavy sigh, she would fall back, out of energy. A notification would open, showing her the rewards from the creature.

Falling back, she would resheathe her dagger. No more skeletal warriors fell down to attack her, meaning that she may have managed to pass some form of test. Or maybe they were just waiting for her to reenergize to endure more struggle. She moved into the corner of the  ring to sit down, attempting to slow down her breathing. She would then activate her hiding skill, her ability making her slightly transparent and harder to see. Of course, any player could easily spot her, but the monsters had low AI. Well, the normal monsters. A skeletal warrior might not notice her, but the boss surely would. She would have to have a much higher sneaking skill for that, and currently she didn't have that. All she had to show was valuable items and high damage output. She herself dreamed of the day when she hit Tier three and dealt even more damage. She currently already matched several of the lower damaged frontliners without having as near amount of base damage. If she brought in surprise attack and charge with that, she would be something of a scare. Sadly, she was focusing on survivalibility at this point. She would focus on Light Armor instead.

Taking the time to open her inventory, she would peer through her entire inventory, swapping items out for one that could actually help her in a powerful boss situation. She lacked Area of Effect, but with the current monsters that helped out the boss she didn't need it. She just needed to attack at the right time, prevent too many heals from helping it out, and kill the boss at precisely the right moment. Well placed Stuns and timing were critical to her success. She swapped out her own dagger for Nato's Might. It would provide her with another slot of accuracy and high Holy Damage. If she could crit with her strongest attack, the monster might be just as good as toast. She had great evasion, so she doubted the monster would be wailing on her too much. She had two turns after the fight began before the next wave of monsters spawned. She grabbed a damage potion, using it to increase her damage output. She hopefully would have enough damage to balance out healing.

Getting up to stretch now, she she would deactivate her hiding skill as she waited for the next round of monsters. "I do suppose its time to get back into business. All hell is going to break loose after this begins. Monsters will begin to attack eachother, while the boss will target me and receive healing for every one of his minions that fall". If she could get a critical hit on the boss, her victory was nearly assured. One critical hit increased her own damage output by over a hundred which would make the boss crumble rather well. It had higher damage than it did health so it was essentially a glass cannon with healing.

A sound alerted her. She watched as a large skeleton wielding a Great Sword stood atop the area before leaping down and holding his weapon above his head. His teeth calltered as he spoke in some tongue foreign to her. Instantly after, four other enemies appeared from the barracks on the side. The true battle had finally begun.

The fight began and Hidden quickly moved first, activating the only stun sword Art available to her. If she stunned the boss, it would heal from one skeleton killing the other and then next turn she could focus on damage. She would have the battle finished within three turns. Two strikes to kill, one strike to prevent her from taking damage. She couldnt take any damage from the boss if she wanted to survive. That great sword was way too powerful. As she approached, he swung his sword but she dove out of the way, bringing her into a path to attack. Her weapon struck hard a true, bringing the monster to its knees. Though, as soon as she attacked the monster, its health was healed as one skeleton slain the other and the two supports activated their abilities. So far, everything was going according to plan. If she could deal the damage she needed to now, it would be over quickly. She had to kill it before it got the chance.

She had to move quickly now. The boss was done and this was now her chance to attack. She just had to outmaneuver the Skeletal Warrior that was targeting her without the other skeleton to kill being around. It slashed at her, but it with a quick side step and a well placed kick, the enemy was out of the picture. She could finish off the healers after the main boss. If the boss had high mitigation she would have attacked them first, but with it being a glass cannon it would be better to just kill the boss first.

She darted back towards the boss, her weapon gleaming with a white flaming light as she tore into its body with her dagger. Bones shattered on contact, splintering until most of the enemies body was demolished. Of course, with the help of the healers, parts of its body were already reforming. She needed to end this quick. More enemies would be spawning and if she didn't take the boss down now it would be a lost battle.

The opponents health had dropped to astronomical lows. All she had to do was strike down the last bit of health the enemy still had in it. The Lich King stood, no longer stunned by her previous attack. However, it was already too late. She had won this battle. It quickly stabbed forward with its weapon but she sidestepped. She raised her dagger high above her head, the weapon bursting with a powerful orange light. Waves of heat sent off from the dagger like a microwave, the raw energy heating up the crisp air. "Another one down!" she yelled as she brought the weapon down on the Lich King. Her weapon crushed the opponent where it stood, exploding into pixels like a firework. The main threat was now taken care of. Now to clear out the minions. If she focused on the Healers, one of the two skeleton warriors should die from the other.

She had to finish the others now. She turned, her eyes shooting mental daggers into the nearest lich. They were not too much of a problem, but they were in the way. Her feet pushed off the ground, her body moving at hide speeds. She seen the monster tense as she approached, her dagger beginning to burst with an orange light. It realized it was seconds away from dying. "You're next" she stated as she drove the dagger home. The dagger shoved through the enemies body, pixelating it on contact. Her skills were far stronger than the peon support of the boss. The way she had done it was that so once the boss was dead it was a mere matter of time before the rest of quest completed itself. The battle relied on the boss's high damage and ability to regenerate. It might have been trouble for those weaker than herself.

It seems the skeletal warriors had not killed one another yet. One of them better do their job. She didn't have a ton of energy to throw around killing peons until it got dark. Her attention refocused on the second Lich that was still trying to heal comrades that hadn't even got hurt yet. Hidden brought her dagger in a forward grip and balled up her fist as if she was about to start boxing the lich. 'I wonder if I could just completely take it down. It wouldn't hurt to try because I can kill it in one hit anyway'. Hidden quickly swiped her leg, forcing the opponent to fall forward. As it feel, Hidden thrust the dagger into its back, allowing the creature to fall with her and her dagger's weight to the ground. Upon hitting the ground, the creature shattered and she stood prepared to see who still survived. She swore she was going to be pissed if they hadn't killed eachother yet. From the looks of it, one had killed the other. Excellent. It was time to finish the rest of them off.

One opponent stood still left to face her. One more until the quest was completed and she was successfully even stronger than she was before. She sarcastically stretched as she wandered over to the center of the ring. The opponent could come to her. This last encounter she wouldn't try but at least she could sidestep and then strike. The skeleton looked around for anymore of its allies to attack before facing her and charging with its sword. grinning, she would wait until the opponent was close. Just as planned, the enemy would try to attack, she would sidestep and then give a reverse stab into the creatures head. The head would become knocked off of its body and it would fall to the ground.
