Dark Iron Forge

Smith.jpg.a77487600415d5c1914bfe654570e61a.jpg

After reaching floor nine, Zuel finally found the environment he was looking for to create his blacksmith workshop. Zuel was waiting for a rocky location to have access to a lot of ore with natural made lava rivers to forge his weapons with. Not traveling to far from Yōgan Village, Zuel would find a lava river running through an open area with a cave nearby that held and abundance of ore including Obsidian ore that he could use to craft weapons. Zuel wanted his blacksmith workshop to match the Obsidian deep black colors, so he built it entirely using Obsidian ore. He would built it so the forge would connect to the lava river that ran through the mountain near it, allowing him to use the lava when he crafted weapons. In the center of the building would lay the Anvil that was made with the darkest and strongest obsidian Zuel could find. He decided to name workshop "Dark Iron Forge" because of the Obsidian he used to build the it as well as the type of weapons he wanted to craft. It may have been out of the way for a shop but for right now Zuel just wanted to gather materials and craft equipment on his own to raise his blacksmithing skill in order to make more powerful gear for him and his allies. With his blacksmith workshop complete it was time to get crafting. All Zuel's crafts are unique due to the lava forge and obsidian ore that he uses given most of his crafts a dark black color to them with a bit of red from the lava.

Starting at rank one blacksmith Zuel could only craft two items a day so it might take some time to level up as well as create that perfect one handed sword. He would begin with taking his Tier 1 materials and heating them in the obsidian lava forge. After turning the material and letting it heat in the forge for a little he would pull it out and place it on his anvil and begin hammering away at the molten glowing ore. As he hit it with his blacksmithing hammer he would begin to shape the object as it would begin to form the more he hit it. With one final hit the object began to turn into a weapon hoping it would be a success. Unfortunately his craft was unsuccessful as the ore would shatter and crumble into dust then disappearing. Not really deterred he would grab another Tier 1 Material hoping for some better luck with the next ore. Zuel took the second Tier 1 material and heated it in the obsidian lava forge. After turning the material and letting it heat in the forge for a little he would pull it out and place it on his anvil and begin hammering away at the molten glowing ore. As he hit it with his blacksmithing hammer he would begin to shape the object as it would begin to form the more he hit it. After a final hit it would begin to shape into a weapon as it was glowing bright to see if it was a success or not.

After waking up at the inn in the Town of Beginnings, Zuel would make his way back to floor 9 where his workshop would be. It was time to try again to create that perfect sword. Gathering his materials Zuel would enter his workshop and begin lighting the forge to heat it up. It didn't take much time because the lava running though would heat it up quickly as Zuel prepared his first material heating it up in the forge until it was glowing bright. After turning the material he would pull it out and place it on his anvil and begin hammering away at the molten glowing ore. As he hit it with his blacksmithing hammer he would begin to shape the object as it would begin to form the more he hit it. With one final hit the object began to turn into a weapon hoping it would be a success. The final hit would cause the ore to break in half as it would shatter and disappear losing the materials. Afterwards Zuel would grab the other ore from the forge and repeat the process hoping for a success this time around. Zuel would keep hammering as the sword begin to shape but it didn't break this time. It would form into a one handed straight sword and though not perfect it was still of rare quality. Zuel would inspect the sword and place it on his mantle to cool off after quenching it in liquid.

Zuel would keep hammering as the sword begin to shape but it would be a failure. However the materials would not be damage allowing him to reuse the same materials.  Zuel would begin again as a final hit would cause the ore to shatter from repeated hit causing him to lose the materials. Now that Zuel had reached rank 2 Blacksmith he was now able to craft three times a day. Attempting to repeat his earlier process to try to create that perfect sword. However he was unsuccessful but managed to salvage the materials once again.

It may not be perfect but at least it was decent EXP for his blacksmithing.

Zuel wanting to create a perfect tier 1 armor piece would head back to his workshop and get everything prepared for the day.
