[PP] The Beginning <<The First Few Lessons are Free>>

Recommended Posts

Kiro was sitting down near a shop, sighing in disbelief. The blue-haired child has been sitting down for a long period of time without knowing what to do, scared of what would happen if he decided to go out of the safe zone that the Town of the Beginnings provided. The chances of him getting hurt were high, but he knew he couldn't just stand around without doing anything while others sacrificed their lives in the frontlines. He rose to his feet, swiftly unsheathing his blade and observing it silently. He had to prove to the others that this game could be beaten and that everyone would return to the other world without any trouble once they defeated every boss, which could seem like a hard task but wasn't impossible to say the least. The boy faintly smiled, nodding his head once. In this world, a sword could guide you anywhere you would like to go to and would never fail you in the process unlike multiple people like criminals or the term PK that they used in this game. He was familiar with it, remembering that it was used on the games that he used to play when he was younger and when he still had a computer to use.

He looked around himself once, scanning the area and starting to look for where to begin his adventure in this life or death game. It didn't take him long to notice a female resting her back against a wall and holding a sign between her arms. After further inspection, he figured out that she was what people called an Info Broker, which was one of the most important roles in this game because they were the ones distributing information about the floor bosses they had defeated, and guidance to find every single quest in the floors that were unlocked so far. They spoke for a short period of time, understanding what was the first thing he had to do. He had to enter an NPC’s shop and help him out with the tasks he would start giving out that would essentially help you level up. The boy nodded his head and thanked the female, making his way towards his new objective. In his way there, he found many people sending party invites to help beginners level up enough so they could defend themselves. He slowly approached them, hoping that someone would send him one, too.

The town of beginnings, a town he was hanging around.... A little to much these days. Its becoming an issue, but he had his reasons for being on this floor, despite it being dozens of levels lower then him. He had started here, like everyone else... And like everyone else, this had been the start of hell. It had become a sort of meeting spot, and he was on his way to the Memorial. He wanted to see if anyone he knew had died. He hadn't had contact with Pinball, Fae, Any of them really... Froppy, his entire guild. He felt like everything was collapsing... Hydra. He didn't know what to do. He looked around, seeing everyone around him. There was this one kid, who seemed a little... despierate for help, and he was young. He looked way to young to get into thsi game. Sky walked over.

"Hey, you alright kid?"

Kiro quietly stood next to them, hoping to receive an invite to their party. However, that never happened because they thought he wouldn’t useful in battle. He looked down to the floor in disbelief, guessing that they would probably not accept him in their group of beginners for the time being until he left the save zone and started to level up by defeating monsters. The wilderness was surely not the safest place of them all, now that you could either get attacked by other players or by a mob. In both cases, however, you would be risking your life. The blue-haired child shook his head, raising it in determination and happiness. He walked past them and made it to one of the leaders of the parties, asking him for an invitation because he wanted to help the others in the frontlines and hope that they could defeat this death game for once. The older man looked down to him and waved him off, accepting another person instead of him. The boy clenched his fist tightly, but sighed shortly after knowing that it was not likely of him to be acting like such. Even if they didn't accept him, he would eventually get stronger than them as time passed by. Though, I did actually think we would have more chances of survival if we grouped up,” he said to himself in disbelief, thinking that it was about time for him to leave the player recruitment board.

The kid walked back to his original spot and sat down on a nearby bench, looking at the sky with his azure eyes. In this world, he could be the hero that he always dreamed to be but in the meantime he was risking both his safety and life. Kiro glanced back at his sword, gently smiling. Unlike the others, his sword would never fail him and would always guide him to a better world and protect him from monsters and evil people alike. He returned his gaze forward, raising to his feet with his new objective on mind. The kid had to return to the shop of the quest giver and to help him with his tasks, so he moved forward in the attempt of leaving the area. Before he could do so, however, the boy was stopped by a tall figure that belonged to a fairly muscular male. “He isn't a beginner, is he?” He whispered, turning around to examine his looks with a friendly smile. Before he could say a single word, the man asked about his mood and why did he seem so down. Truth to be told, there was nothing wrong aside from his failed attempts to help other people. “I’m all right, sir. Thank you for asking,” he replied in a calm tone of voice, bowing his head. “My name is Kiro, and it's a pleasure to meet you, mister…?” said the young swordsman, with the intentions of catching his name. Kiro rose his head, expecting to receive a reply from him.
