[PP-F1] Morning Routine

Recommended Posts

Early morning sunlight entered the Inn’s windows, cutting through the darkness. The small particles in the air visible in the beams of light. “Ah, no.., It can’t be morning already…” Jade said, throwing a pillow at one of the windows. Jade got upright and groaned as she got to her feet. She quickly went through her morning routine: Shower, Brush, Get Dressed, etc. After this, she has some time on her hands to think about the previous day or the day ahead of her. Then she goes to get some breakfast from one of the restaurants or shops nearby. She reluctantly left the room and went out the front doors of the Inn, heading to the closest source of available food. This place was so comforting the first day, then everything took a turn for the worse. She let out a long sigh. Thats went she saw one of the restaurants workers walk out with a sign. “Wait, what time is it?” She quickly opened her menu to see eleven twenty-nine staring back at her. Her eyes widened. Looking up she began running towards the restaurant. “It's not too late, it's not to-ahHH!” She yelled, running into someone, Jade face planting in the process. She looked up at her still open menu. “11:30”. “It’s too late…” She whimpered, immediately remembering the person she ran into, her face turned bright red, she swiftly got to her knees and faced them. “O-oh! I-I’m so sorry! A-Are you ok?”

With a big surprise a girl tragically tackles into Kyoto. A soft gloom of a voice was heard as Kyoto turns around and sees a girl maybe in her late teens laying there on the ground in front of him. “Are you alright ma’am?” He asks as he offers a hand to help her up. He looks carefully at her. She a nice-looking girl that seems to be very shy. He smiles at her. “I’m guessing you missed out on a meal?” If so, I be glad to get you something. Kyoto seemed to be a little flirty but at the same time trying to be polite to her. He notices the fact she’s wearing a lot of newer player’s gear, so she must have got out of the town of beginnings. Kyoto kept on smiling as he then turns his head just slightly to see what the time was on his HUD.

Her face reddens more. "Y-Yeah, I'm ok. A-Are you ok? I'm sorry... I'm an idiot." She said nervously, letting out a sigh as she held out her hand. "T-Thanks... She started at her clock in the menu. "I-I missed breakfast." She replied, utterly defeated as her stomach growls. "The place I-I usually go is closed now." She continued. She brushed the dirt off her outfit which was a pair of dark blue pants, a black T-shirt, and a grey jacket, along with a silver necklace with a small sparkling crystal in the center. Her long hair waved around delicately in the wind, which matched her curious brown eyes. "I-I'm sorry for disturbing you... I-I was in a hurry and I wasn't watching where I was going. P-Please forgive me..." Jade explained, her arms crossed. She didn't really know why she does this, maybe it was because her family was unforgiving? Maybe that's why she asks for forgiveness over simple petty things that no one would think twice about.

Kyoto gives her a soft smile as he then helps her brush off. “It’s alright you don’t have to apologize.” He gives her a smirk as he then looks at her once more. Seeing how shes new and all he decided to be extra friendly with her. After all he looks like a swordsman with a black leather coat and black pants. That looks a little sketchy to most people. He looks at her seeing as she looks like she’s about to cry. “Hey if you want I can get you something to eat. I know its not this but it’s better than nothing right?” He looks at her with a calm look in his eyes like nothing happen. He opens up his interaction menu to unequip his sword and his coat so all he’s wearing is his compression shirt. “Sorry I figured I make me less scary with my gear on.” He smiles as he give a little chuckle.

"S-sure..." Jade responded, relived she wouldn't have to pay for her meal for once, but this also kind of bugged her. She didn't want the player to waste time and effort on someone who might not be alive the next day. She stayed silent as they passed through the crowds of players and NPC's alike. Eventually reaching a place to eat, since most places didn't typically serve breakfast at this hour, she would have to make due with lunch. The building was old, had multiple balconies with tables on them. The place served sandwich, soups, stews, deserts, and drinks. The interior of the building was mostly made of a dark brown wood, there was a banister leading up to the second floor and the balconies. There wasn't many people in today, guess they must have missed lunch rush. Jade sat down at an empty corner table, and clasped her hands together in front of her and lowered her head. She was tired, nightmares don't help you sleep.
