That is what it seems from the outside, Ayato has spent years trying to find a way to impress his parents, but they have never acknowledged him at all. His older brother seemed like the more successful type, but in reality, he was just the lazy type. Then there were his two little sisters who showed tremendous amounts of achievements throughout their life, pushing Ayato back into the shadows. Growing up, he would avoid all social interactions and did his best to keep a low profile, but he has long black hair that has a little white streak in front of it. He sticks out most of the time and is able to blend nicely when the weather is cold, where he can wear a cover without anyone batting an eye. With all the excess time he has, Ayato is always online playing all sorts of game and this is where the thrives the most. Ranging from RPGs to MMOs, he would play games until he would worn himself out. There was news of a new game called Sword Art Online and that sparked something inside of him that he thought he would never find. There were about 200,000 players in possession of a NerveGear and he was one of them, but unfortunately, only 1,000 of those players were invited to participate in the game (Beta). He knew he had to get his hands on the game once the beta testing was finished and that was when he got to work. He worked throughout most of the fall season and had just enough to purchase one of 10,000 copies of the game and all he had to do was wait in line to buy the game. Ayato loves his family even through the hardship he has gone through, but he likes to escape reality with his games. He always wanted to prove his worth, even if it is just to some stranger. He takes his games seriously and always want to finish strong and never and less. Once November 6, 2022 has rolled around, that was when everything in his life was about to begin. Hence his final words in reality are: "Link.. Start!" VIRTUES Ruthless: Ayato has shown little to no pity or compassion for others when it came to gaming. He views every battle as a win or loss. Most players who came across him online would call him heartless or cold-blooded and he was always unforgiving when those who attempt to step over him. There would be no reason for him to spare anyone if they were against him. Being ruthless just comes naturally to those who are born into the Suoh family. Steadfast: Ayato is determined to survive the death game, Sword Art Online, and refuses to allow the situation to deter him from finding a way out of the game. He fiercely believes that he will not only survive this experience, but will find some sort of entertainment out of the deadly environment. Although he is not the type of person to stick out, he is determined to distinguish himself and strive to become one of the top players so that he will be acknowledged by those around him. Brave: There is no danger that Ayato will jump into and without any hesitation. He will do what he can to prove to everyone that he can dominate the game with raw power and pure strength. Being a high level just means you grind your way towards the top, but being skilled is on a whole different level. He is determined to flex his skill in the game, whether it is during a duel or in the face of evil. FLAWS Manipulative: While many will freely admit Ayato to be an optimistic individual, his kill with words and flare for drama are not without a dark side. For all his life, he had to learn to manipulate his surroundings and blend himself into the crowd. Taking his theatrical talents to the next level has allowed him to learn to outright manipulate those around him. He has been seen using this technique multiple times in the various of games he had played. Impatient: Ayato is never the type of person to stay in one place for too long, because he feels like he is never going to move up in the world. Whenever he feels like he is slowing down, he would abandon his party and move on without him. This makes him unpleasant to be around, but he would never abandon anyone when it comes to reality. All he wants to do is to reach the top, so those around him can recognize his achievements. Blunt: Ayato is known to be truthful, but always telling people the harsh reality. Even if they are really down, he does not sugar coat anything. The only reason for him being so blunt, is he is oblivious to the feelings of others.
