When he arrived, he found it on the anvil by the blacksmith. He held out his hand to receive the weapon, giving Oikawa an appreciative nod. He grasped the hilt and stepped back, testing its weight with a few practice swings. "It's odd... having actual skills now to back up the weapon I use... and having a weapon designed to deal more than DoT." He removed the mundane sword from the scabbard at his hip and slid the epee into its place. "I appreciate your work. Thank you." With that, he turned his shoulders and made for the door, now armed for offensive combat. The jeers and glares of much more menacing and experienced players pressured her to turn around and go to a more appropriate floor. However, she overheard of a blacksmith of great renown that worked for front line players. If she could get a piece of his masterwork, maybe she would stand a better chance as she leveled in the floors below. After following the tips she gathered from several players and coy eavesdrops, she stopped in front of a building surrounded by raw ores and minerals scattered about. Many of them simply too large to move and fixed in place by the owner. Confident, Snow strode through the door and toward the counter. "Hello!" she chimed. "I was hoping you could make something for me? I have plenty of materials to compensate you for your time and effort..." The questioned contained nothing but respect and genuine interest for the master blacksmith. She had a quick message prepared just for the occasion and summoned it on display for the smith. In his palm was a small rolled piece of paper upon which he jotted down the specifics of the new equipment he sought. As most other blacksmiths charged an arm and a leg for their crafts, he was happy to have heard Oikawa was back in business. “Hey, I could use your help.” He directed to the man after entering. “I need a new sword and better armor. Shouldn’t be too difficult for someone like you to make.” With that he’d send the required col and pass along his requests.
