Vanquisher Shoulder Armor

Mirror's Embrace

Mithril Battle Axe

-- Focused Hate

As the pack of Wolves and their mutated pack leader came into view Alec immediately knew where he was and what was going on. He was on the Second Floor and this was the Venomous Warg quest and that's all Alec needed to know. He quickly pulled his Mithril Battle Axe from the loop at his hip and raised his shield up in front of him as he took several steps forward to unsure he had an ample safe distance between himself and Dagger so as not to involve the other man in the fight. As the wolves came forward Alec focused on Venom Snapper known him to be the most dangerous target as he enacted a Sword Art to ensure all their attention was on him. Alec swung out with Sharpened Chop starting with Venom Snapper and working his way through his pack mates. Alec's swing at Venom Snapper connected solidly open a wide gash in it's shoulder. The mighty blow caused Venom Snapper to recoil missing it's chance to attack Alec. Alec's swing wide over the tops of the first and third member of the pack but sank solidly into the second Wolf hacking a large chunk of the wolf's flesh away. The three Wolves charges in at Alec snapping and biting. The first wolf charged in and sank it's teeth into Alec's leg leaving a tiny series of holes there. As the second followed in Alec shifted his shield and knocked the Wolf away harmlessly. The third followed in and bit into Alec as well but not before he maneuvered his Shield to test into the wolf mangling it's hide in the process. Alec brought his shield back up and raised his axe ready for another round.

Gazing towards the sound of the combat he glances to see one wolf almost dead and two others injured with his bodyguard seemingly unharmed from the entire experience as he just nods his head with a grin across his face rather glad to have come across the tank during his stay on floor one. Making this quest just a breeze for him to just relax and enjoy just searching for the materials he can eventually use. Looking around the roadside he picks up the materials that had been found and adds it to his inventory pocketing the small clump of alchemic material that only counted for one as he just nods his head. Glancing towards the fight he checks the way the wolves are positioned trying to get a estimate in his mind of how many will fall within the next small bout. Two at a minimum probably will from what i can see. He says softly out loud watching the fight for a few moments to watch animal face off against man.

Alec raises his shield and brandishes his Mithril Battle Axe at the mutated wolf and his pack as the slink and pad around growling and snarling at him. As Venomous Warg charges I'm Alec enacts another Sword Art causing his mirror finished axe head to glow and crackle with lightning as he slams it down into the mutated wolf expelling the stored up energy into the creatures body as his Battle Axe sinks deep into it's back and shoulder dropping it's health by a good amount as he hacks into the beast removing a large chunk from it. The three pack members charge in snapping and biting as Alec shifts his shield back and forth expertly keeping all three Wolves at bay without incurring any damage to himself. As the wolves retreat Alec brings his shield back up before him in defense as he raises his Mithril Battle Axe back up over his shoulder prepared to strike again.

Gazing towards the fight he watches as surprisingly nothing seemingly dies during the short little burst of action that occurred within a few moments as he looks puzzles by this. Looking back at the two wolves that are low on health and the one that has yet to take a hit yet as he then looks towards the tank that is handling the fight with a bit of confusion more so then anything else. That..i guess this is why i don't do combat then since i seemingly can't understand the whole flow of it. He says softly to himself idly commenting on what he can observe before gazing back towards the area around him figuring he'll just focus upon his specialty rather then trying to take guesses how long it'll take for a fight to happen. Since he isn't much of a fighter so it is highly probably he will never be able to guess it correctly.

As the fight continues Alec stands patiently waiting for the pack of wolves and their mutated leader to make their moves. As the group charges in with Venom Snapper in the lead Alec enacts Lightning Axe again but miscalculates the mutated wolf's speed and his swing sends the energy harmlessly sailing over the creatures head as they charge in. Alec lowers his Shield and behind moving it back and forth expertly keeping the mutated wolf and two of it's pack mates at bay as the third member of the pack slinks in a bites into Alec leaving only a tiny set of puncture marks there. As they are snapping and biting at Alec he brags his saw bladed shield across the middle pack member testing viscously into it's hide causing it to explode in a shower of red pixels as the remaining wolves scurry back and away from the large man to regroup.

Hearing a shattering sound he gazes back to see one of the wolves having died as he nods his head before focusing back upon finding some materials once more as he gazes around the ground searching for some materials once more. Making his way towards the merchant cargo that was destroyed he picks up the quest item with a smile upon his face as he takes a material that was within the giant cargo patch. Once done he just nods his head with a rather happy smile upon his face since things are going rather well for himself since the quest will be completed as soon as Alec can take out the wargs, and for himself he is gathering enough materials to fund enough professions for when a player might need some extra help with buying something from competition. 'to make a funding out of other professions needs for materials.'

As Alec stood poised ready for Venom Snapper and his pack to come at him again Alec held his shield before him and stared over it's saw bladed edge with his axe held ready. As Venom Snapper began to approach Alec quickly engaged a Sword Art and activated Lightning Axe again causing his axe head to glow and lightning to spark and play across the glowing surface if his mirror finished axe head. As the mutated wolf charged in Aleve swung down burying the axe head deeply into the mutated wolf as he expelled the stored up lightning energy into the creature as the hacked another large piece from the monster. As Venom Snapper and it's two remaining pack members charged in Alec lowered his shield and using subtle moves block all three creatures attacks and harmlessly knocked their snapping jaws and gnashing teeth away without taking any damage himself.

Searching through the wreckage of the cargo from the merchant still pulling out at the various things he is not surprised in the slightest when the most plentiful of materials he is finding within it are alchemic in nature due to the merchant having handed him a antidote to use if he had found a time and place to use it against the wolves. 'Though that is being handled by Alec now so nothing for myself to worry about anymore, and if the last time i checked his health is correct that is not something he'll ever need to worry about either in terms of death being something possibly imminent.' he thinks to himself in a amused manner before focusing back once more on searching through the wreckage for more items to use until he gets a shout from his partner about he fight being over so that they duo can make their way back towards the quest giver to turn this in.

The battle had begun to slow down the Sword Arts weren't responding the way they were supposed to and Alec had begun missing more but his defenses had improved do the wolves weren't hitting him as much either. Usually that was a good thing but Alec was a Tank and wanted to get hit do he could return damage to the creatures he fought that way, only it wasn't working right now. So Alex fought on slowly and surely in his war of attrition. As Venom Snapper charged in Alec tried to enact a Sword Art again but the games in game energy source refused to respond do Alec wasted his attack as the creatures approached. As Venom Snapper came within striking distance he lunged out and but into Alec but not before Alec drug his saw bladed shield across the mutated wolf's body raking it with a large tear in it's flesh dropping it's health bar into the red. As Venom Snapper's two remaining pack mates followed him in Alex lowered his shield and knocked both their slavering jaws and gnashing teeth to the side before they could find purchase in his body. The three slinked back growling and glaring at him as they retreated from the large man.

Once more digging a bit deeper into the pile he investigates what is left behind by the game as he shifts through moving stuff around with a singular hand investigating the rubble. Moving a heavy wooden piece away from the rest of the cargo he coughs as a kick of dust shoots upwards along with the sound of glass cracking and shattering from him having done so. He raises his left hand to wave in front of his face as he moves the dust out of the way  as he looks towards the thing he had just managed to destroy and see a collection of broken bottles of alchemic and food options as they all shatter from having gotten spoiled as soon as they touched the ground. Glancing towards the fight he watches as the entirety of the wolf pack is near death for all of t hem as he just nods his head at the rather rapid success that his guard is having.

Alec continued his fight with Venom And his dwindling pack of wolves. Alec held his shield before him in defense and his axe high ready to swing. As Venom Snapper led his two remaining wolves towards the large man Alec reached out to activate a Sword Art but once again the energy failed to respond to him. Maybe he was doing it wrong he needed to ask Sey. He never missed maybe Alec was missing something into activation he thought to himself. Venom Snapper dove in at Alex but he moved his Shield and knocked the mutated wolf aside with a flick of his shield. The two normal wolves followed in quickly behind Venom Snapper Alex took the first Wolf and also knocked it aside with another flick of his shield. The trailing wolf charged in and nipped at Alec leaving a tiny bite as Alex drug his saw bladed shield across the wolf tearing its flesh open and causing it to explode in a shower of red pixels. As Alec stared down Venom Snapper and its lone pack member.

With the arrival of the towering mess of a caveman, Pinball had fallen into a sullen silence, staring with the same cold, level gaze he had adopted what seemed like oh so long ago. They went on as if he wasn't even there, and for a while Pinball was tempted to just walk off when they weren't paying attention. But even in his mind, that didn't really seem right.

The wolves were on them faster than Pinball had expected. Did they see the party coming, or was the party of three being urged along by its leader at a quicker pace than normal? Alec didn't miss a beat. The burly mountain man rushed into the fray without hesitation, swinging around an axe like it was nobody's business. Except it was. It was Pinball's business. He had never heard of this guy before, and yet he seemed so... experienced. And that was strange. Pinball hung back and let the fight rage on without him. He seemed like he had it handled.

Pinball watched. And maybe it was for future reference. Just in case.

Finally, though, when the last wolf and its leader were cornered with nowhere left to go, and their comrades had been thoroughly obliterated, Pinball drew Tyrfing. In a quick slash, bloody red scars were torn into existence - those blasts of energy rocketed forward, cutting the poor little wolves in half. Pinball sheathed his sword. Simple as that. He thought he had seen enough.

"I'm going," he told Dagger, noticeably more standoffish than he originally had been. And that was probably saying something.

Before he left though, Pinball walked up to Alec. There was no readable emotion on the teenage killer's face - no real inkling as to his intentions. He had been thinking about stuff while they talked. Stuff that bothered him. Stuff he didn't like at all, really. Stuff that hurt his head.

Pinball jabbed a finger at the burly man's chest. The older fella cut a scary figure, but Pinball gave him that same icy glare regardless. His voice dripping with some sort of unusual, angry blend of emotion, he spoke to Alec for the first time and the last time.

"Watch yourself. Don't let it get to your head."

And with that, the murderer took his leave.

The sounds of shattering is what awaits his ears once more as he lifts his head to gaze towards the direction of the fight and before he could get much of a word in edgewise towards the young man that had possibly wanted to go down the route of working alongside him he quickly cut all possible conversations short. Though not without seemingly saying something to his bodyguard as he just nods his head as the younger man makes his way out just assuming that he is possible going to think on the deal since it would affect his future within Aincrad. Gazing towards Alec he just nods his head before gesturing for the man to follow him as Dagger makes his way back towards the main settlement since that is where the quest ends and with that it will be once more for him to not have to worry about a quest that will time him out of its rewards. Letting his gaze sweep over the general area to find nothing he makes due towards the town to end the quest.

Alec nodded to Dagger not paying any attention to the teenager with the bad attitude. That's what children acting out wanted, was to get an adults attention and for the adult to respond in any way good or bad. Alec chose not to stoop to misbehaving child throwing the temper tantrum's level and mearly turned away from the Orange Player and followed Dagger towards the main town or Urbus so Dagger could complete his quest and they could get on to the Merchant's next quest. Though Alec chose not to patronize the child that didn't mean chose to ignore the Player Killer completely. The young man already proved by his tell take Orange cursor that he was willing and had taken the life of another Player here in Aincrad. Alec would be stupid to think the young man harmless so as Alec followed behind Dagger placing himself between the Merchant and the Player Killer Alex paid close attention to if they were being followed or not without turning back the direction they'd come from.

Making his way towards the next settlement at a rather relaxed pace as the player killer makes his own path within Aincrad since he can't enter the main settlement himself. Glancing towards the large man he just grins to himself at having a decent bodyguard like the man and thinks of trying to find a way to get a unique for him that could get him some defensive armor qualities to help the man in future quests. Thinking ahead now that he has done all the level locked quests come the questioning of trying to think of what quest he should do next. The obvious answer is what ever get him the most experience so he can become a better scout which means becoming a better merchant from having more goods to sell towards players. The only thing to figure out is what quests even have that kind of reward for him to benefit from. SO then Alec what did you think of our little PKer?

As Alec and Dagger made their way back towards the town of Urbus on the Second Floor Alec kept his eyes peeled for any sounds of pursuit from the Orange Player. As the made their way through the forest Dagger seemed deep in thought as they walk so Alec took the chance to enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of the woods they were traveling through as he began scratching Humphrey on the neck and behind the ears as they walked. Alec was mildly startled when Dagger suddenly broke the silence with a question about the young Orange Player they had just left. "Honestly?" Alec asked in his deep baritone rumble. "I think he's a punk kid with a bad attitude. Maybe his parents didn't love him enough or maybe he's just damaged. But I think he needs to grow up and mature a bit for his own good and that of those around him as well. Negativity breeds negativity. So as long as keeps acting like a sullen spoiled brat with a chip on his shoulder  he won't receive much positive feedback from anyone." Alec stated in a flat tone as the group made their way towards the Second Floors main town.

He nods his head when hearing those words from the man at his side since the logic is their, but in terms of having some strength behind him when going into some fights he was rather willing to deal with any negative attitude that was brought upon with it. 'Though it is entirely possible some player killers could've made a game out of hunting him down as well and getting mixed in with that isn't something that i am wanting to spend some time or risk my life on in any manner. Bounty hunters and police i can deal with since they won't kill me the player killers i don't want to deal with.' He thinks calmly to himself while making his way forward towards the settlement as it comes into view before the two players as the only thing left for the quest is to turn it in towards the quest giver and then figure out what to do next for himself and where he'll take himself in terms of quests that he could do.

Alec nodded his head at what Dagger had to say. To have strength on your side was a good thing and the young Player Killer had definitely dealt with the last few hit points of Venom Snapper and his lone remaining pack mate rather well. But the Orange cursor was where he had to draw the line himself. Someone who showed an Orange cursor obviously had no respect for human life as they'd already made a concious decision and proved capable of taking one themselves. Killing another Player wasn't something that happened on accident that young man had chosen to kill and done so. In Alec's opinion you just couldn't trust someone like that. What would keep them from doing the same to you as soon as you turned your back on them. "Anything's possible." Alec replied in his deep baritone. "I'd rather not rusk it though. An Orange cursor Player has already taken a life here and whatever the circumstances what's to stop them from doing it again. Given the right safe guards I could standing giving one a chance but with a bad attitude to boot I'd rather not have to waste my time." Alec replied as they made their way towards the edge if the crater that housed the town of Urbus.

Entering into the town he makes his way towards the tavern glad that his companion at least agrees strength on their side is needed it is just a game of finding somebody that they could get to work alongside them for such things and not have to worry about any side things that could chain them down. Such as the sad need to skirt and be careful of the company they keep since one slip up could mean the death of both of them if they aren't careful about how they approach some people that might have certain red flags about them. So then Alec if we are to get some damage on our side the only question is who we can go to for that kind of things since i don't believe we have many options at the moment as far as i know, but that is more so the limiting factor of players that i personally know and have the ability to get into contact with. Their are the customers that go into my shop though that i could maybe ask if they would like to join us on a quest or two.

Alec nodded his agreement with Dagger. "Your shop and its patrons would be a good place to look if you're seeking a damage dealer. Unfortunately you are one of the few people I've met here. I've run a quest with a pair of Front Lines Players but that was more them inviting me along and trying to keep up with them and out if their way. One was an extremely tough Tank and the other was a damage dealer who's ability to connect with his targets rivaled your ability to find Mats and Chests. I also recently met a young woman who's levelling herself as an Evasion Tank. Other than that I've met one or two others but they're significantly lower level, but could prove to be capable in the nit so distant future." Alec offered as they entered through the main gate of Urbus and made their way through the small town discussing their future and strategies to improve their success as well.
