[F04 Event] Christmas Extravaganza 2018

Recommended Posts

Kirbs sighed as she saw Pinball get dragged off. Well that take cares of a lot of thing. She rolled her eyes and walked off to examine more of the event. Scanning over the items in the shop, she shuddered. Holy bajeesus. Those things cost more than all my bloody times I own! She grimaced and walked away. Nope, nope. I may like gifting, but no way in hell am I going to spend that much Col on some gifts! She walked over to an unfamiliar NPC. “Uh, hey! I heard there was a raffle, and I’d like to enter it please!” She grinned, putting on her cheeriest face.

@Benny

She looked around and frowned. Dear god, I need to get out more. I don’t know half of the people here. She walked back to Hazado and gave him a sheepish smile. “I’m just going to hang out with you for a while. You’re literally the only person I’m actually friends with here...” she muttered, glancing around at the crowds of people around her.

@Hazado

Beat arrived on the teleporter pad, wrapped in a warm coat and a slight scowl on his face for having to return to the floor he had told himself he was never going to return to. Beat had a articular dislike for the cold and this floor was certainly the epitome of that very thing. He looked around and quickly spooted a hot cocoa vendor and made his way over as the holiday festivities gradually wore his scowl down.

"One please! Largest you have!" He said to the cute vendor girl, taking his cocoa and making his way over to a large, muscular man with the most magnificent beard he had ever seen. The man spoke as Beat admired trhe specialty wares at the man's shop, ""Top of the mornin' to ya. My name is Atticus Benjamin Julian Kingsley O'Malley O'Connell O'Carroll O'Reilly O'Brien O'Sullivan but most people just call me Benny. Feel free to look around and buy some of my wares."

Man, I guess I need more names...jeez

It didn't take Beat long to figure out which item he wanted and he hoisted one of the backpacks hanging on the walls of the stall off of it's hook and pulled up his menu to make the transaction. "This will do nicely I think." Beat said with a grin as he transferred to col from his account.

Snooty old relatives. Typical of her small purple-haired friend to think that way. Mishiro had an amused smile as she continued, "It's not just consisted of adults. I had cousins who were close to my age too, and I spent most of my time playing house with them." Then Arabelle asked if she was... Spanish? From her expression, Jinx seemed to believe the same, too. That was a reasonable assumption to make. 'Noche Buena' was a Spanish word that meant 'the good night' and if she could recall correctly, the tradition 'Noche Buena' was also practiced in other countries with slight variations according to the country's culture. "No, I'm not from Spain. I was born in the Philippines and lived there until I turned 10. Quick history lesson. The Philippines was once colonized by Spain. The country eventually gained its freedom after three hundred years or so, but because of how long they stayed, the Spanish culture became a major influence on the Philippines. Some words in the main dialect and if I recall correctly, most Filipino surnames have Spanish origins. It's the same with Noche Buena, though it's changed over the years to gain its own identity."

It was Arabelle's turn to tell a story. She spoke of an annual snowball fight, and of course, the small girl loved it for its chaos. "So even before SAO, you were already like that," Mishiro commented with a small laugh. She turned to Jinx, ready to ask the timid girl to tell her own story. Then it came back to her. "I was a burden to my family... I jinxed my family, which is why I called myself 'Jinx'..." Oh. She decided not to ask. Jinx seemed to have fun listening to their stories, so if she decided to volunteer her own, then that would be fine. Mishiro still wasn't aware of the girl's family situation, so it was best to be careful and avoid bringing any bad memories up.

Movement to the side caught her attention. Arabelle stood with her gaze directed at Stryder's group and Mishiro followed, dreading what was about to happen but at the same time too morbidly curious to stop. The girl took aim and hurled a snowball at the back of Roman's head. "Arabelle!" Whatever she had to say next was drowned out by the girl yelling an obviously made-up excuse and her laughter. The scout's green gaze met hers for a brief moment - his expression couldn't have said anything but 'betrayal of the highest degree!!' - and the corners of her lips quirked up into a small, amused smile. Honestly, right when she thought they were going to have a normal conversation for once... Arabelle turned back to them excitedly and Mishiro's grey gaze flicked over once again to a red-faced Roman, reaching down to make a snowball. "Yes, I saw it," she went along, carefully keeping her expression neutral. She tucked her hands into her coat pockets and feigned innocence. "He won't be buying you that Christmas cake later."

From where the small girl threw a snowball, two came flying back at her. If she didn't believe in the concept of karma before... Now it was Mishiro's turn to laugh as the girl fell forward and had to be caught by Jinx. "You turned your back on him, it was almost like you were asking for it," she teased. She looked up as someone else approached, someone... familiar. Oh, the groom from that wedding. From his expression, it was easy to peg him as the suspect for the second snowball. Roman was too nice to throw two. "It's fine. It was a... welcome interruption," she responded with a knowing smile. "Merry Christmas. How have you been?"

The little girl Kimiko was being very nice to Neo, but she just sent a message saying that she didn't need any medicine. And though she didn't say it, she knew that this was something for herself to fix, as it was purely in her head. Well, in her head and in this game. It seemed Hazado was quite enough buys with the rest of the kids for now, so she gave him a quick peck on the cheek and went to @Benny. He seemed a bit more advanced than the other NPCs she had met before, and was wondering how to enter the raffle. She settled with just pulling out some of the paper she had on hand in case of emergencies and wrote down that she would like to join the raffle now as well. She probably should've taken care of that earlier, but it was what it was. Once she had her name down for the raffle, she decided to let Hazado talk with some other people for now. Instead, she wanted to go looking for a few other familiar faces that might be about.

It seemed that @Cosi was mostly distracted with the commotion that had been going on. Though she still couldn't quite tell what all was happening, it seemed like one of the players finally got escorted out of the place. With the commotion dying down, Hokori quickly excused herself to go stop by @Benny, signing herself up for the raffle. Perhaps she would win something, though that wasn't much of her worry. She was primarily concerned about getting the rest of her build together. This was just going to be a way for her to get some other form of bartering chip. She didn't want to have to be that way, but she had a feeling not everyone shared the same sentiments as the people who had gifted her the armor she was wearing not moments ago. After entering the raffle, she waited around a bit to see if she did win anything. Not that she knew when the raffle would be, but hopefully she wouldn't have to wait too long before that.

The others at the table seemed very quiet, so Osgii decided to get up with her sister and head towards the NPC that seemed to be running the place. Though their chances were fairly slim at actually winning anything, there was still they chance that they received it. Not that it would be much for them to barter with, but perhaps they could set it up as a powerful trading tool to get some initial capital. Once registered for the raffle, The two waited around for a little bit to hear the announced winners. At the very least, they should note who to look out for with these tools at their disposal. Ennakai would most certainly wish to know the winners as well. And such harmless information could be given as a token of good will. Not like she wouldn't be able to get the information otherwise, so may as well mark themselves as sources.

As Beelii went with her sister towards the raffle, she couldn't help but wonder what they would do with the prizes. Even if they were incredibly high tier items that they could not use, that didn't mean it had no use. Even at a lower tier, the items could still be useful for their own use. Her sister was likely wanting to make sure that they could sell the items, though Beelii wished to be able to use them for themselves. That way, they could just farm out their own capital on their own terms instead of needing to deal with trading with another player. As useful as her charm was, it seemed most players in this game were either used to or immune to those charms. Perhaps one day she would be able to adapt and take on the people that she wanted to seduce so badly. That would be some time though.

Shiro couldn’t help but smile and accept the request from the player he had spoken to. It was unusual for him to remain in such a place, but he had heard there was a raffle and wanted to at least enter to see if he could win. Nothing caught his eye though, but then he noticed the cloak. No way in hell am I passing up that. He walks over to @Benny and tips his head forward as a greeting. “Put me down for the raffle as well.” He says, spinning and looking around for a few minutes. No one here I want to talk to. Mishiro, Ice cream lady, and gray are here, but no one else. He begins to wonder how he can get away from everyone and still be close enough to hear if he wins an item. I really want that cloak, it’ll help in my endeavors when searching for Misako. So I hope I get it. He walks away, trying to make his way to the refreshments table, passing a penguin, a child with pink hair, a man who towers over the others and a famous player. He reaches the table and looks around to see if anyone wants to talk to him. I need to know if I win, and then to get out of here. The problem is, I don’t know if I can win if I just up and leave. He saw people spending time with their friends, talking to eachother and he was sad. He had no one to share it with, but he didn’t know he wanted that until just then. He wants friends, he wants someone to care about him like he cares for them. Will I ever have that? Or will I just be the kid in the corner who can’t talk to people?

Zandra gulped and covered her face with the shadow of her hood as she turned around. Was she gonna leave already? Well, no one seemed to have recognized her anyway, not that it mattered. She would make sure her presence was known if it was of any importance, today it wasn’t. She had first thought of handing out free col to all low levelled players that wont have any or very little col themselves. But her mind have changed, not that she was selfish or anything, but she had recently handed out a lot of col to the winners of the beachparty comeptitions. She needed to head out on another of those famring runs again. She gulped as she saw the big man that seemed to be in charge of this. She walked up to him and with a plain voice said she wanted to join the raffle. She hoped she wasn’t to late though. She had been lucky last year, would her luck stay?

"Hmm?" Callie leaned over to observe the transaction while the shopkeeper explained her cooking-related wares. "Oh, that's interesting." She commented. "I haven't even touched the crafting system. It's nice to know that it's so customizable." She'd indulged in some of the culinary creations that Aincrad had to offer during her time here, but she never knew if there was much difference between the dishes offered at a tavern or ones hand-made by players with the Cooking skill. Save for the potential stat bonuses, of course.

"Oh, aahhh..." She tapped on her chin again, wracking her brain for potential gifts and their recipients. "Just a couple." She confirmed with a nod. "But now I wish I knew if either of them had a profession or not, a gift for crafting sounds like a great idea." She chuckled before sucking her teeth. Looking around at the stalls nearest them, she perked up and took a few paces towards a booth vaguely labeled "Accessories" with a lanky old man standing expectantly on the other side. His pruned face broke out into a wide smile as they approached, and he greeted them with a faint whistle in his words. "Welcome! Ya lookin' for somethin' specific?" He nodded his head and Callie gave a friendly smile in return while her eyes traveled over the many trinkets on display.

Nearly everything at this stall was in the shape of some animal or another. Jewelry, pendants, and baubles were all sculpted after the likeness of boars, dragons, cats, and so many more. With an idea in her head, she immediately drifted towards a display of pins. Surprisingly, despite the sheer number of little items, it didn't take long to find the three animals she was after, though she grabbed a certain one only when she was sure that Shield's eyes weren't on her. "How much for these?" She noticeably held a pair of them in the palm of one hand: a white-and-blue penguin and a gold-and-bronze lion. She kept her transaction with the old jeweler brief, wearing a satisfied smile while she transferred the col for all three trinkets over. "Oh! Do you have little boxes for them or anything?" She was lucky enough that the shopkeeper tacked on a minuscule fee to let her take them away in three little colored gift boxes, about the size of a ring box. Turning back towards Shield, she dismissed two of them to her inventory and proudly held up the remaining one in a soft pastel blue. "Well I know at least one of them is here already." She grinned, already planning to deliver her gift to Spencer should they run into him along their way.

When Calypso turned around, Shield was just turning around himself, offering out a gift-wrapped parcel that was about the size of his two cupped hands. He looked surprised, clearly unaware that Callie was doing the same thing behind his back that she was doing behind his. He hurriedly dismissed the package and scratched the side of his nose, trying not to look too concerned that he had been spotted. "Shall we keep going then? I was hoping to make my big purchase sooner rather than later."

He made his way to the center of the festivities, trying his best to avoid making eye contact with the players who had witnessed his mishaps earlier. @Benny's stand was still bustling, and it took Shield a moment to get his attention. He waved his hand, calling out to the merchant for a few long, uncomfortable moments before the clamor had died down enough to be properly audible. "One Hammerspace Backpack, good merchant!" he called out, opening a trade window and transferring the hefty sum for the item. "And whatever it is @Calypso here is getting, I'll cover as well." He didn't make eye contact with her, but he did give her a little nudge with his shoulder. "No arguing. You haven't had as much time as I have to accumulate Col for events like this."

Caypso's pride had gotten her into trouble on more than one occasion, so Shield was half-expecting her to argue with him anyway, but he wasn't about to let her miss out on something that could benefit her in the future. "I would personally recommend something permanent, like the backpack, or even trying out one of the mystery crates. Giving yourself an extra enhancement slot is nothing to sneeze at."

Benny looked around as the event went on, seeing the smiling faces, players flirting and a few fights that broke up quickly. All in all, the event he had put on had been a success. He beamed with pride as he looked up at the sky. a small bit of snow started to drift down from the sky, starting to coat players and everything that he had built, making it seem as if they had always been here. The snow didn't bother the bare-chested giant however, he was used to the colder climates. A small ringing came from his pocket, and he pulled out his pocket watch to see that it was just about midnight. He gave a small smile as he put the watch away, making his way towards the stage he had set up. He gave a small whistle towards Jesse, who stopped what he was doing to go and help his boss. He picked up Dalta, and soon the two of them pushed a large podium with a glass ball onto the stage, the ball filled with the names of all who entered the raffle. Benny breathed in deeply and exhaled the brisk, cold air.

"Attention everyone!" He shouted, his voice booming across the crowd. He waited for them to die down and getting their attention. "Lasses and Laddies! It's time for our Raffle!" He shouted, and a roar of applause and screams erupted from the crowd. He gave them a moment, laughing with them as Dalta howled with them. As the crowd died down. He gave a smile and motioned towards Jesse to grab the items. "Let's get started then!" he said, and another shout from the crowd grew as he reached into the bowl. Jesse finished bringing up the items as Benny pulled out the first name. "The winner of the Candy Cane Blade is..." He waited a moment for dramatic effect. Jesse went to the nearby snare drum and gave a drumroll. " @Neopolitan! Congrats!" He shouted as applause rang from the crowd. He waited for the young woman to grab the item, then grabbed another name. "The winner of Frostbite is..." He waited as another drumroll was sounded " @Cosi! Come up here!" He said and waited for him to approach as more applause was heard. He passed the shield down as he grabbed the next name. "The winner of the Cloak is..." Another pause and drumroll " @Jinx" He said, and gave the player the cloak "Be careful with this, it is a little messy." He said with a laugh. He grabbed another name from the bowl.

"And the winner is... @Macradon" He shouted. He grabbed the small snowglobe and passed it to the young lad. "Here, this was me grandmums, take good care of it, alright laddie?" He said with a hearty laugh, slapping his back. He went back over to the glass bowl and fished for another name, pulling out another name. "The winner of the Christmas Cookies is @Mishiro " He shouted, passing the plate to the small person. He grabbed another name from the bowl, and a drumroll was heard as he unfolded the piece of paper. " @Frank! Come and get your TP Crystals!" He shouted, passing the young man the two TP crystals he had won. He fished out the second-to-last name. He grabbed the small cage where the small Will-O-Wisp was held. "The owner of this little guy is... @Huginn Come and meet your new pal!" He said with a laugh. He opened up the cage and let out the small familiar, letting him meet his new owner. "And finally, the pack." he said to the crowd. He grabbed the last name, and he gave a small smile. "It's the little lass, @Fae. C'mere and get your pack little one." He said, a warm smile on his face as he passed the pack. He stood up, bowing to the crowd. He stood back up straight and smiled. "That's it for the raffle! Thank you for all who entered! Go on and proceed with your fun times!" He spoke, then stepped off the stage.

The Event NPC's booming voice joyfully announced the start of the raffle drawing. Its voice resounded throughout the whole area, drawing players in for the main event, and being at a spot that was close enough to the large man already, she almost brought her hands up to cover her ears. Mishiro glanced at the people gathered around her: Jinx, Hazado, and another girl who approached them earlier, and found that they already had their attention directed to the NPC, drawing the first slip of paper from a bowl. Even Arabelle, with her short attention span and tendency to get bored easily, was waiting silently. She turned and watched the NPC announce the first name with eager anticipation, and she hardly noticed Roman return to her side.

She recognized the first two players from the wedding she attended with Arabelle, but it was the third that made her join in the applause. Jinx won a cloak with a Unique enhancement and while it wouldn't fit in with the tank's build, the shielder could easily find another use for it. She had guildmates and even without, Uniques could sell for a hefty price... "Congrats, Jinx!" Mishiro patted the timid shielder on the shoulder as she went forward to claim her prize. Next was the snowglobe trinket with its two slots of Life Mending. She could easily tell that Roman wanted it, so she quietly crossed her fingers as the NPC drew another slip. After all, despite his more aggressive playstyle, his primary role was to support. Both of their names were in the raffle [ooc: not really]. If she won it, she'd give it to him in a heartbeat. They had a higher chance of winning

Then, the NPC announced another name. A frontliner named Macradon. Roman visibly deflated beside her and she patted his arm with an uneasy laugh.

"And the winner of the Christmas Cookies is... Mishiro!"

...Was that her name? She thought she heard her name. She looked to Roman for confirmation and he playfully nudged her forward. "You're not hearing it wrong. That's you, Shiro. Hurry up and claim it before he decides to pick someone else!" She... won? And the item that was second on her list, no less? A warm, bubbly feeling of childish delight rose up her chest as she hurried forward and accepted the plate of cookies from the Event NPC. Mishiro dipped her head in a small, polite bow and quickly returned to her friends. "Oh hey, you even got three! You really are lucky, Shiro."

"Do you want it?" Mishiro held up the plate, ready to hand it over if he said yes. She tapped an option hovering above the item and a pop-up window appeared, detailing the snack's enhancements. Prosperity and Mitigation. A DPS player with good AoE could make use of this. "This item's made for Col gathering. I can't farm Col effectively at my level, so your guild might make better use of it."

"No, it's fine. You won it, so you should keep it." He gently pushed the plate back to her with one hand. "It's not like you'll stay in that level forever." But to be fair, she hadn't leveled up ever since she took her profession quest. She frowned slightly. He had too much faith in her. "Well, if it's you, I think you'll climb up to higher levels soon. When that happens, reserve one cookie for a gathering trip with me, okay?"

But sometimes, it was that faith which pushed her forward. "Then, it's a promise," she said with a smile. The plate in her hands dissolved into data shards as she dismissed it to her inventory. Maybe this Christmas wasn't so bad, after all.

Shiro heats his name and his ears perk up. No way I actually one. This is weird, but now I gotta talk to someone and accept... Then he sees it, the bright blue flame in a cage and he smiles. Like something grabbed the corners of his mouth and just pulled up as hard as the could. He didn’t even realize he was smiling until he started to talk. “Does it have a name? Or can I name it?” He asks with a tilt of the head and a smile on his face towards @Benny. He reaches out towards the small creature and it dances up his arm. What would I name it? Flicker? Scorch? Or would I go for Irony? Umbra would be nice. Blue? He can’t pick a name for his new best friend. Felli... short for Felicity. He finally decides. He knew giving it a name would make it far worse when they finally escaped the prison, but having Felli by his side would make the time that much better while he’s in this world. “Felli... her name is Felli.” The beautiful light dances around his arm and up the length, spinning around his torso and orbiting his chest up to floating above his shoulder. He can’t help but smile at the creature, as it was already something he cared for deeply. Like the baby raven he had saved one day, and raised from there on out. He had released it, and that day is his least favorite memory he has. But his new friend would never disappear, not until Huginn was killed.

Macradon heard his name being called up, looking over at the big Merchant Benny, Macradon would grab Kairi’s hand and drag her towards the crowd as well “Seems like I won something.” he said with a smile and approached the big guy. “Oh wow, thanks. Seems like quite the trinket to have.” he said as he accepted the prize from the raffle. “Looks neat … gotta find out what it’s capable of.” he said and would try to identify the properties of the snowglobe. It seemed to be a great for support players that for some reason also wanted to have some accuracy in their build. Maybe someone who had a lot of mitigation but was mainly a healer. A support off-tank was probably the one who needed this item more than anyone else, but alas, Macradon would just chuck it into his inventory and continue his evening with Kairi.

The girl heard the call for the raffle, after all, it was the main event. She wanted so badly to win something, she'd loved events like this as a kid. The randomness she loved, the possibilities. But even with the excitment,s he couldn't not have looked over the items. The Frostbite Shield. If she could pick, that's the item she wanted. A heavy shield with unique defensive enhancements would be invaluable to her. After all, who wouldn't want it in her position? However, the item she had wanted went to someone named...Cosi? She let out a bit of a defeated sigh, the only time that had caught her eye had been picked up already, and if she knew her luck, there was little chance of a trade. That's when the frowned, she could have sword she...heard her own name being said.

...Wait, she'd won?! The feelings that had been in her chest vanished instantly as joy leap through her like a firework! She'd won she'd won she'd won! She no longer cared she didn't get the item she'd wanted, she'd won something! She had barely heard Mishiro patting her before she'd nearly ran off and picked up the item from @Benny, smiling brightly as she held the item in her hands. Sure, it looked a little bloody, but she'd won! In her excitement, she knew what she wanted to do! She quickly spotted the player she wanted to speak to, and quickly found @Stryder, smiling brightly as she showed him her spoils.

"Isn't this cool Stryder! I won it, f-from the raffle! It's the, cloak..." That's when it clicked inside her head "...wait, i use heavy armour...and this armour is light" That's when it dawned on her as she looked at the items qualities. She was a tank, she didn't need light armour. The excitement somewhat dissipated from her face. She was happy regardless of the items usefullness

Oh, it was time! The raffle winners were being called out. He honestly only had interested in one of the items, the Reindeer Cloak. He knew that... that would be an amazing addition to his own build! If he was lucky enough to get the sword or shield.... He knew someone who could make much better use of them then he could. Though..... That much made sense. he watched as the two items he was planning to give away went to others. He didn't really know what to say, other than being a little upset that he couldn't give her anything. Then he heard Benny call out Jinx. And he saw the item given, the cloak. He was a little upset that he didn't get that item, though, he watched as the lucky girl ran over, her warm smile just melting his heart. He didn't care so much now, sure he wanted it, but... She was so happy to have won something. She ran right over, and she was just, beaming with enjoyment. Then, something clicked and she realized how useless it acually was to her as she used heavy armor. He quickly acted, picking up the cute cat, and throwing her in the air, not to high as to startle her, but making sure to catch her to.

"Who cares if you can't use it, you won something! I'm proud of ya! Guess its true, cats do land on all fours!" He says, with a smile on his face.

Arabelle smirked at The Other Girl's comment. "Retaliate? Who even uses that word anymore? Hehe~! I don't think you know me well enough yet. I won't 'retaliate,'" she responded innocently, in a voice loud enough to be heard by the rest of the little group. Then she stepped in closer and whispered. "I won't 'retaliate' until their backs are turned. Isn't that the best? Seeing their surprised expressions when they thought they could let their guard down only to find out that they fell for the trick. Ahahahaha - Oh, hey Kirbs!" The small girl easily recognized the person who had thrown the snowball at Dustin earlier. "How did that thing with Dustin go down? I want to know, all the details! Hehe, I was the one who called him out after all."

Then, the buff Event NPC dude announced the start of the raffle drawing. Arabelle fell silent and inched a bit closer to the stage. Truth be told, she wasn't really expecting to win anything with her luck, but might as well pay attention. If anything, it was Mishiro who would be winning something today. She still recalled their first day in the game - a very distant memory - when Mishiro's DMG output was a continuous series of crits. No weapon skill. But if Shiro-chan wins more than one thing, and she's my best friend, and she hasn't given me a Christmas present... "Hmm," hummed Arabelle thoughtfully. If Mishiro also won the blade...

Someone else won the blade. Aw. Then someone got the shield. That was fine. Next up was the cloak. It was a light armor and had a unique enhancement. Arabelle crossed her fingers. Come on. If it's not me, let Shiro-chan win it. She'll give it to me if she does. She doesn't like armor without MIT. Please, please, please..Then The Other Girl, with her tank build, won it. Seriously? Some other guy won the trinket. Too bad, she could've given it to Claude. If she did that, she wouldn't have to buy him a Christmas present anymore. Then Mishiro won the Christmas cookies. Arabelle blinked, surprised, and then she grinned. "Ooooh, there's even three of them! That's so cool!" She stepped forward to admire the plate of cookies her friend brought back to them before it was dismissed to her inventory. "Sooo... Shiro-chan. You, me, those cookies, and the Nature's Treasure mission. We can also leave boring, old Claude behind and have some girl time. What do you say?" She waggled her eyebrows suggestively. "I mean, if you ever do add onto those levels of yours. Otherwise, we wouldn't really end up gathering much."

The rest of the winners were announced and, as expected, Arabelle did not win anything. The Other Girl and The Loli, however, did. Seriously?! What was a kid going to do with that huge backpack?! "Ughhh," she groaned to herself. It seems that ever since The Other Girl came into her life, there's been nothing but misfortune. She saw The Other Girl approach Stryder and watched quietly as he picked her up and swung her around. What's with this lovey-dovey atmosphere? Is this some cheesy, white girl romance novel?! Arabelle mumbled something that went along the lines of "have fun with your stupid furry girlfriend." and then dragged herself over to her best source of comfort. "Clauuude, are you going home yet?"

Kirbs focused her attention to the raffle winners, and she could’ve sworn she let out a groan when they called the names. Although she didn’t mind that much, it still kind of sucked that she didn’t win anything at all. Looking up, she heard a familiar, piping voice shout her name. “Oh, Arabelle was it? It didn’t really end... he probably went over to his girlfriend before I could throw another. That bloody bloke had some nerve to throw a snowball at me and not even fight back!” She exclaimed, crossing her arms with an annoyed faceI’ll get him back, she thought, he won’t see it bloody coming!

“Say, how do you know Dustin anyway? Gee, I know that might’ve come off as a little rude, but don’t blame me. He doesn’t necessarily come off as the most social person, that fellow,” she asked, looking around to see if she could spot Dustin anywhere. After searching for a few heartbeats, she gave up and turned back to the purple-haired player. “He is a good bloke to have around though. I can assure you that you’ll never go hungry when you’re around him!”

Dustin’s body jolts as he wakes up and sits up from the table. How did I fall asleep? He looks around, seeing that the party was still going on and he stands. “Sorry about that.” He apologizes to someone who clearly wanted to sit down. As he begins to walk away he hears Kirbs shout something about the snowball. Oh shoot, did someone else throw a snowball at her? Because that would be golden. As he walks, he scoops up some more snow and starts to ball it in his hand. Nah, she already hates me enough. He lets the snowball fall to the ground and smiles as he approaches Kirbs. “Hey y’all, I’m sorry, I fell asleep over by the drinks.” Ha laments pulling out a crepe and taking a bite, pulling out another and offering it to @Arabelle “They’re amazing, you should try it.” He finishes and takes another bite of his own.

His eyes dance around, noticing people who won in the raffle as he looks towards the ground and smiles. So I didn’t win. It’s probably for the best, I wouldn’t be putting any of it to much use. He takes the last bite of his own crepe and looks to the two other players. “So did y’all win anything?” He asks, trying to keep the conversation off of what he had done earlier to Kirbs.
