Macradon was facing the last survivor of the pack he had assaulted, but he wasn’t alone, Belphegor was with him, his trusted partner, his aid in combat. This was a two on one gang up, and they had the edge. Macradon probably had an edge by himself as well, but Belphegor did make the job faster and easier than doing it alone. Macradon appreciated Belphegor’s presence, it helped him calm himself as there was someone with him through all of this. Kairi had been distant, and at this point there weren’t too many he could trust. Many probably trusted him, but himself wasn’t one of them. He couldn’t trust others, most because he couldn’t trust in himself. This doubt had dragged him through a lot of emotional pain, and it was still lingering, just like the damned hell fire from the phoenix's area of attack move. Both parties of this two sided fight had reached a consensus, both had read their opponent’s attack pattern, at least Macradon had thought so as he went in for an attack, but mid attack a sucker punch would hit him as a clenched foot of talons would sucker punch him in the head as he tried to approach the phoenix. Belphegor tried to jump up and drag down the phoenix, but it was soaring too high above the ground for Belphegor to reach up. Macradon would be staggering backwards from the attack, putting a hand to his head to clear himself from what had just happened. With a fierce roar, Macradon would put an end to this nonsense. Macradon 0 Posted February 5, 2019 Author #23 Report Share Posted February 5, 2019 (edited) “Is this all you’ve got!” Macradon roared as he jump up into the air, not activating any sword art, just throwing off the phoenix to move to the side, helping him set up his Galaxy Destroyer to cleave just as he landed. The phoenix was cleaved in two as the last crystalline polygons of the phoenix would disappear into nothing, shatter into digital bits everywhere like dust. Finally having the time, Macradon would count through his haul for the day, as well as making sure he found the crafter that could make a Name Tag for him with the Phoenix Feather and 5 materials found on this floor. Heading back together with Belphegor, Macradon would finish a good day’s work of starting his solitary journey of becoming a new person. After crafting the Name Tag, he would probably go to Neopolitan to pick up the requests, for then to return at the phoenix spawn point again to do the deed even more efficient.
