[F13-PP] The short reason why <<Cleansing the Corruption>>>

Recommended Posts

Looking towards the last remaining diseased one i activate my strongest sword art and quickly tear into the mob with a multitude of slashes each attack slicing into the creature leaving large gashes till it bursts into nothing but red pixels. And we are done with this group, but Sey there is a whole lot more. I hope you're ready for more mobs to face since there is a army of more standing between us and a horseman of some kind. Also, apparently some incarnation of greed might exist that wanders about as well. I inform Sey with a nod of my head as i make my way forward once more through the desolated wastelands. For what was once probably vast farmlands or forests now are just shriveled up cracked ground with only the slightest hints of some tiny signs of grass trying to form back up. The success of that looking horrible though.

"These were nothing but trash mob, a few of these can't hurt us! And if they try, it sounds like free col for the both of us." Sey declared proudly with his hands on his hips as he would take a quick shot at getting the loot. If there was a lot more to deal with, then so be it. If there was any concern, it was the fact that the priest did not inflict more damage than he already did. "I do wonder what would happen if we did come across the Incarnation of Greed. How hard is that supposed to be?" Sey asked with the tilt of his head. It was a concern for him thanks to him loving treasure and rewards as much as he did, it would be a shame for a boss to take advantage of that and end up destroying him for it. That was not the way out for Sey, there was too much for him to live for as of currently.

I don't know much about greed in all honesty me and Domarus never fought against it, but according to rumors brought by a small T2 group who did thsi quest supposedly it has some healing ability if any of us picked up battle healing. Which we both did sooo that is fun. I say towards Sey with a small shrug of my shoulders as i continue making my way through the wastes as a town slowly makes itself visible in the distance. The finer details being blurry and not visible from this distance as four more shambling diseased zombie like corpses make their way forward. All in various stages of..whatever occurred here. Some looking more so like flesh on skeletons, others as if they went through the worst war and forced to walk forward. Compared to the last these loo like they were given some form of mercy from not being totally drained lifeless and diseased carrying husks.  I quickly activate howl to grab their focus back upon me as i give the nod towards Sey while still purposefully avoiding meeting the gaze of miraak. Lets go Sey. I quickly learned why i regret facing my own loot mobs as each of them hit and i watch my Hp plummet as i can only hope either Miraak will save me here, or if not i'll need to use field medic sooner rather than later.

"Oh yeah, I have that skill maxed out and everything. Let's hope we don't have to encounter such a massive foe then, my damage just doesn't go up that high I'm afraid." Sey declared with a bit of regret. It was such a good skill! But perhaps that's what he deserved for getting so greedy. A unique was so hard to come across in this game, but they were going down the harder road regardless, so it was best for him to suck it up and just push through! The rewards from the first set of mobs was so amazing anyways. Now it was time to move onto the next ones, who seemed to make no hesitation to start things up. No energy recover was used or needed for now it seems, he was going to love the experience points at the end of this fight. Miraak made sure to help Hestia with her lower health and Sey punished three of the familiar mobs with a Tornado Kick.

Looking towards the enemies i see one try to go for Sey and manage to fail at that task i quickly as i can activate howl to once more get the hate back on towards me as i sigh softly knowing that this is going ot be difficult for certain. 'At the very least he doesn't ahve taunt to truly make this impossible for me to keep up with his attacks.' i think to myself in a relaxed manner as i look upon the bright side and parry the strike of the only diseased one to have managed to strike out at me. Looking towards Sey i just give him another nod as the only signal to once more go ahead and strike out towards the creatures as i back away as fast as i can appreciating the heals that i am getting from Miraak since it is helping rather immensely in terms of staying topped on health. Seriously this is so much easier than grinding by myself just because of these heals alone. I say with a chuckle to myself.

Hestia saved him from a hit before then telling him it was okay to go for more. He would return her nod and place his feet against the ground before springing with a lot more force. Onto the enemies! This time, he managed to strike all of them without a problem, two of them even obtaining that sweet sweet critical sign above their heads. With this, he would step back and grin from successfully pushing them back. Miraak seemed to cast about spell, but nothing came through with it, nothing that Sey would notice. Come on! "Miraak, another wave of light would be really lovely!" Sey ordered, only for the priest to stare at him blankly. Sey sighed before turning to Hestia. "Well, at least one of my partners isn't so bad at this whole fighting thing. Glad you like this better, I think it's easier than soloing this as well. It's better to not have to worry about damage."

Looking towards the group of four i feel the impact of three met my shield as i toss them off of me as i curse silently seeing that they aren't dying fast enough for my liking, but at the very least from what i can speculate Sey will at least be able to kill them by the time it comes around for it. Checking the health bars i see that none are currently in the red as i just nod my head and takes a calming breathe since i am still in the green in terms of my HP which means thinks aren't going absolutely horribly wrong all things considered. I mean at the very least we technically have Miraak as a healer to support me as the tank cause otherwise i'm certain i would've hit the red by now sey! I call over towards you with a slight chuckle seeming rather carefree about admitting that as if it isn't a issue.

"Fair, but come on. That nuke he dropped was soooooo good! Imagine if he did it now, I think we'd be close to finish this!" Sey declared before looking back towards the enemies. They were lined up yet again with the exception of one, but he was going to push through them with a tornado kick while he could. And so he would make the strikes towards their sides before most of them fell back. They were still in the green, which was bad for him because he was nearing his limit when it came to his energy. "A little heads up, Hestia! I'm going to need a break after this fight, my energy levels are perishing and there is so little I could do about it with my current skills!" An unfortunate declaration that had to be made, but there was a reason he did. If they were stick aimlessly doing basic damage, they could actually die in the long run.

'Opening i take thee.' i think to myself seeing the opportunity for an attack and decide to take it for all it is worth to try and expedite this process of lowering the enemies' health pools. Seeing my health shoot up once more as i just smile rather happily at that as i take advantage of it when i can. However, it seems that this time luck wasn't on my side as i only managed to strike out at only one of the mobs who was already rather low compared to the higher healthed ones to begin with. Though it does bring him closer towards kill range at the very least and was the one that was attacking Sey the most. Ending the sword art i just back away as quickly as i can as i nod towards Sey. You're up Sey! I call over towards the martial arts fighter as i bunker myself down to preapre for the attacks against me.

They were all brittled down a decent amount, it would take a few more rounds and they would have this little spar secured. With that, he would nod to Hestia when she order came through before he then placed his fists up yet again, ready to strike the enemies down. He would sweep past Hestia before doing a quick roll forward. Using the momentum of the roll, he would spring his legs upwards before spinning to the side to strike every single enemy yet again. A successful blow that sent them all back, one of them in the red zone as well. That made his energy pool somewhat safer, but he still did not know how much he had left in his tank. Time could tell. For now, he would slowly do a handstand backwards before slowly returning back onto his feet. "Get them, Hestia. It shouldn't be long before one of them pop."

With a nod towards Sey and a grin on my face i rush forward towards the group of four mobs and quickly tries to cut into them with wide arcing swings to slice through through the barely walking corpses of monsters as i manage to get one down to barely any life left. Just having a few pixels left as i gaze at the other health bars. 'Having a Miraak nuke would be really nice right about now.' I think to myself idly as i back away from the mobs as they take passing swings at me as i back away from them. Kuro flying down and tackling one towards the ground as the other two meet my shield and armor respectively  and  don't deal as much damage as they could've done if i was not a tank. Geting towards the home stretch Sey! Give them another good kick, and Miraak try to call upon that power for a good holy thing you did the first time around! I call over towards the priest hoping that by asking it'll happen.

"Miraak, come on! We need another nuke!" Sey would call to the priest when Hestia told him to do that. The priest would roll his eyes at the command before placing his palm out. Was he really going to do it!? Nope. Instead, a buff would be placed onto Sey and Hestia, increasing their damage output by a bigger amount instead of doing the work on his own. "Patience is a virtue, is it not? I shall use holy attacks such as that on my on accord. But enjoy that little buff so badly, one of little faith." Oh come on now! Now Sey himself wasn't liking the NPC himself, but not for the reason that was expected. Whatever, he wasn't going to let this prick of a priest deal with him in such a manner, he was going to handle this with another kick! One of them would shatter under the weight of his kick as well, so that was a lovely bonus.

One down. three to go. I say with a smile as i can only keep up the force as i charge forward with butterfly illusion and only manages to get the first one hit by the damage that is being produced by the curved sword  that i have as i just smile in contentment at that even than. Still hitting one is better than none. I say as i raise my shield and blocks the three hits that come into contact with my shield as i fail to notice my health dip into the yellow. Looking towards Sey i just give a thumbs up to continue attacking as i mentally count my HP now as i just nod my head seeing it step into the yellow which is rather fine in all honesty. Compared to what i could be at this is rather great for how much i've been fighting against two groups and never dropped into the red. One more hit and we'll probably be good Sey! I call over towards the Martial artist with a grin across my face.

And she was somewhat right about that, unless she meant it from her. While the damage buff was nice, his AoE game was not the strongest, for this was not the assault spear. Stuns were not so effective in this sort of match-up either, so he was sort of left their to hope for the best with this little damage he could inflict. On the plus side, they were nearly done, and so he would take the Tornado kick to the enemies yet again, but they did not shatter despite being a few pixels away from certain death. Miraak took the time to tend to Hestia as well, making sure her health stood above the yellow point. It was a decent level of health that was recovered, but they were going to have to tend to that before taking on any more mobs at this rate. Sey would hope that she could handle this heat. Look towards the zombies i just rush forward to try and hit them before they could get to Sey as one manages to slip right by me and get a singular strike upon the white haired partial tank as i myself manage to slice it in half moments after it did so. I then spin around pivoting quickly and slices into the next one as the last zombie just stumbles past me and Sey managing to miss its attack entirely. I let out a soft sigh of relief as i just relax and let my guard slip as i start to focus upon myself as a slight green aura starts to gather around my hands as i try to prepare to call upon field medic. I'll let out field medic after we finish this up here Sey so that we can shoot up back in terms of health. I tell Sey with a grin on my face as i than just wait so i can activate the rather amazing mod.

Two more of them to handle, not too bad. Maybe he can close it quickly, his energy was so low that he might pass out if he used much more, but he needed this battle to end first before he can start letting his level of energy recover yet again. Looking over to Miraak, he would hope that something would come through with the priest, like a heal on Hestia. Though if it was finally that AoE attack, Sey might actually flip. Fortunately, it was just that one spell that did pretty much nothing for them. What was it supposed to do? As if Sey could guess. Instead, he just went up close to give a swift chop to the neck before the enemy disappeared, leaving them with the last bit of loot for them to enjoy. "Can you heal yourself that way? I think I should be fine with my health, but your health... It's quite a concern of mine."

Looking towards Sey i give a nod on my head as i than glances towards the town within the distance that just looks eerily quiet. No NPCs walking about, and seemingly at first glance none of the diseased zombies walking about it initially. I can only heal myself through field medic every now and again since their is a cooldown on myself when trying to do it again. Though by the point where i am at in terms of my HP since compared to solo grinding Sey me being where i am at in terms of HP is like godly. I say jokingly towards him with a smile upon my face as i than start to make my way towards the direction of the town since time is still of the essence since from how long tthese things are going this could be an entire day type of thing from how long i'm starting to see how these fights could go. 'Hopefully we don't run into the greed thing that is supposedly on this quest since if we do things won't go that great i think.' i think to myself with a small bit of worry.

Action: Field medic 20%

362 HP towards Hest (+30 HP natural regen)=392 HP

Hestia: 1421/1810

Sey: 1330/1330

Seems like they were going to be fine then, though now it looks like they reached the end. Kind of. "All right, as long as you are sure. I... Tossed away the idea of having first aid when I got rid of the whole balance build idea." And it was a shame as well because of how much hype he placed into the specific build as well, but it was bound to happen with how ineffective it was. Simply put, he did not know what he really wanted when he went through with the weapon and build choices. It was just him putting things together. And then Miraak would present them with two options since they more or less reached the end of the road for now. “If it is not too much a burden, perhaps you care to look for anything that is not destroyed? Perhaps there is a little to gain if you are willing to make such efforts. But I understand if you wish to look past that.”  Miraak suggested, in which Sey would turn to Hestia, for she knew which path was the longer one.

It's okay Sey at least i'm carrying on the will and strength of the balanced build which surprisingly works if not for the fact that i can't get accuracy on this build to be better at hitting things. I say with a chuckle as i than look down at my armor as an idea comes to mind as i look towards Sey and than back towards the town. When we get towards the town i am going to need a small moment if possible. I say towards the man with a smile on my face as a useful idea comes to mind to test the very limits of this game of what i can push for this build as i than glance towards Miraak and gives a nod of my head with a happy smile upon my face. We will be investigating the town Miraak don't worry about that. I say towards him in a off-hand comment as i quickly divert my focus back towards Sey with a nod of my head. We'll be doing the long route now which means running into more mobs. Though i am uncertain if we'll find the same creatures in the same spawn locations or if this town is special in anyway. I say towards Sey.

The energy bar would fill up all the way once he obtained the level of rest that he needed. It was a bliss feeling to have such a sense of energy yet again. Hestia wanted to live the balance build, though the poor thing was also lacking accuracy in exchange despite her high level. "Yeah, you definitely can have one. I doubt the enemies will cease to exist once we go through with this plan, so any level of rest in your case would be bliss." Sey replied with his hands behind the back of his head. In that case, Hestia was likely to take charge with whatever level of health she felt would be the most comfortable for her. Based on the two waves of enemies before, they were going to need at least another break if there were more than two mobs. "In that case, make sure you are absolutely ready. My energy is fully restored, so I am ready for anything at anytime. Except... Maybe tanking."
