[F13-PP] The short reason why <<Cleansing the Corruption>>>

Recommended Posts

I chuckle a bit at Sey's words as i look towards them and just nods my head at him. Well if anything Sey you won't be tanking at all while we are working together if i can help it since it is my job to tank since otherwise i'd be rather useless. Well i guess i could just use first aid repeatedly, but than we are just wasting good thorns at that point. I say somewhat jokingly towards Sey with a smile upon my face as i make my way in the direction of the town where these creatures might possibly be coming from according to this quest. Glancing towards my energy i see that i am back to full which means that it might be similar for Sey as well which means preparing for the fight at hand would be needed. When entering into the town i just raise a single finger towards Sey to tell him to stay still for a moment. Entering into the nearest building i get out of Sey of the form of Sey as i go through my inventory and equips a vanity heavy armor similar to that of my current armor. Now having the necklace of the snowglobe around my neck alongside the crescent moon necklace that is black that has a small twinkle of starlight on it. Making my way back out i look towards Sey with a smile upon my face. There we go now i can hit a bit better because of this trinket now while still keeping my armor's strength. I say with a grin across my face.

The ability to keep her defense while strengthening her body? Yes please! "Oh nice! I assume it just slipped from your mind before? Any EXTRA DAMAGE-" Sey's purple eyes glared over towards Miraak. The priest shrugged in return, his face just as blank as it has always been. Sey sighed in return before turning back to Hestia. "Would be appreciated. If you are sure you aren't taking any more damage, I would definitely love to have an assist." And it was better to know he would not have to use so much of his energy in combat. Maybe they could handle three waves this time around if Hestia's damage output was boosted that much. With that, he would tilt his head to the side as he watched Hestia's health bar slowly compose itself. Maybe Miraak could give a heal? But he didn't simply just applying a much unneeded damage buff onto the both of them.

Looking towards Sey i chuckle a bit at his insistence to pester Miraak for some kind of healing being done or extra damage during combat as the priest seems to try and pacify Sey by giving him and by proxy myself a damage buff instead. A grin on my face in part at seeing the more carefree attitude of Sey, and secondly from the fact that the former event boss is getting pestered by said player as well. Glancing about through the ruins i spot the town that looks like something straight out of medieval maybe even leaning closer towards industrial was the next age i think? Just something more modern than something akin to the tiki huts of floor sixteen, or the stone buildings and only that for floor two. This looking like it could've come out of some movie set as a way to setup a nice zombie apocalypse seen as their is no signs of life just structures left over by the former inhabitants as the only sound to invade the space is that of the occasional groan of one of the diseased creature mobs. Which would be soon followed by the same silence afterwards. Well Sey i guess now is better than ever to get going and doing this thing since we are at full energy now. I say as i see my energy is back at full, but not my health which is fine honestly.

And it would be a concern of his as well, but it was as if her words were like magic, for the a wave of monsters would then enter the fray in an attempt to fight them. Miraak placed out a confident right palm before another bright wave of light would flash through them swiftly. As a result, their health bars perished immediately and he would passively return his arm back. Sey finally approved of this NPC's actions for once before looking over to Hestia. "They're severely weakened, let's take them down!" Sey would declare before he would take a spring in his step before jumping, a smile on his lips as he spun around swiftly and knocked most of them over. One of them was evasive enough to escape the Tornado Kick, but the rest were nearly in the yellow already. This was the perfect first around that they could have started with. Now Miraak just needed to keep doing that.

I grin at seeing the power of Miraak once more wipe away the waves of HP on the enemy mobs, and by god was that a necessary thing for what occured with the next few moments. Feeling two strikes impact against my vanity armor and two impact against my shield i can only do my best and just push them away to give Sey the opening he needs to even strike out against the Loot mobs. 'At the very least i have field medic ready to go at a moment's notice.' i think to myself as i than look towards Miraak and wonders what are chances of him being able to drop another light nuke on these mobs if we can get such like back to back instead of just the slow back and forth it could otherwise be to fight through these waves. Well i would love to help, but right now i'm busy dealing with the fact that i am making sure you don't get murdered in trying to do this. I say jokingly towards Sey doing my best to keep a lighthearted attitude about all of this.

"My hero in shining armor." Sey replied with tease trailing behind his words. Miraak took the liberty of healing Hestia a decent amount after the sudden barrage of blows she took. A time where the priest made a good choice, but nuking enemies would not be such a bad idea. A crazy suggestion, surely. But that mattered too little, for Sey would prepare to hit the enemies yet again with another kick towards the side. He has grown so used to the move that he could take it on a date and flash a ring to it. The enemies were foolish enough to not evade his assault, so each of them received a quick foot to the sides and caused all of them to launch. Stepping back, He would look back to Hestia with a confident smile. "Oh save me, my knight!"

You better be asking me to save you from death! you'd be dead meat by now without your hero in shining armor and radiance of the greek pantheon at my back! I say overdramatically as i than round towards Miraak and point my sword towards him. And no i don't feel like arguing religious belief system right now. I say towards the NPC before howling towards the group of incoming mobs to get them to focus back on towards me as i prepare my stance for the onslaught of attacks about to pound against my shield again. Feeling two strikes hit my shield i push back and see the two others get knocked onto the ground from me just basically tossing the other two against them. Huh...whatever works i guess. I say with a chuckle as i lower my shield for now as i gaze towards the enemy and makes a quick little value call in terms of hit or howling next turn considering the damage that Sey can do.

It was somewhat effective in damage, but his knight in shining armor was doing damage now, something that made him appreciate her even more. With a determined grin, he would swiftly follow up from behind her, taking her by the shoulder before using her as a swift springboard before crashing into three of the enemies. That would then cause their health bars to lower a decent level before he stepped back. "Want me to bow down to you and kiss your ring as well?" He quipped jokingly before looking back towards the group. They were mostly in the yellow zone, but it should take either a nuke or a few more hits from the players in order to finish this battle. All in the day's work for the players to have to be careful when they were so close to the end of the fight. But it was satisfying to see the results of this, for they were so close to loot yet again.

Howling out once more i get the attention of the group of four mobs back towards me as i just grin and prepare myself for the attacks, but much to my surprise i feel free slip past my shield and slam against my shield tearing across the vanity heavy armor with some practices ease seemingly. As the last gets shoved away by my shield to prevent it from getting close as i back away quickly with a rather calm look despite everything. 'only lost 500 HP. Nice.' i think to myself with a smile on my face not worried about losing over a fourth of my HP. I than look towards Sey and give the nod of my head towards him as i than galnce towards the mob. Either we need a Miraak nuke, or we both can deal the killing strike if we land our AoEs Sey! I call over towards the man knowing that after this we could do one more group if we push our luck with things.

Well that looked like hell to suffer through, another reminder that the life of a tank absolutely blows. Poor thing wanted the Miraak nuke, but he seemed more focused on healing Hestia yet again despite her literally shouting the command over to the priest. Sey rolled his eyes before he went on to try and inflict some damage on his own. That didn't work out so well either, for he would not be able to hit them all since they scattered around the damn place. A snarl would form on his lips as this happened before he then only settled for one. He may as well have used a single target attack if he knew that the AoE would have been like this with him. On the plus side, he was able to lower one of them down, so it would only be a matter of time before rewards would appear in front of them. Hopefully he didn't get too low on energy where he had to do a full restore.

Looking towards the only hit to strike against a creature i just nod in sympathy for Sey as i rush forward using this once more as an opportunity that can't be missed to use my own damage against these creatures. Dashing from one creature to the next as i only score two hits against them, but did manage to parry a strike against my shield at the cost of getting another slash along my armored chest. Two down! I call over towards Sey as i look at him and than shakes my head to myself at the idea of having Sey fight a group of four by himself since it would not go well most likely. Especially since by this point it is quite a bit to late to be using an accuracy buff since the first initial wave of enemies have been cleaned out, and from what memory is serving managed to make it past the halfway point by now.

"Two left to go then, let's do this!" Sey declared proudly as he would take aim for one of the enemies, only for his foot to take a swift bit of air instead. The next kick would hit the next enemy instead, the Tornado kick working successfully on one of them. Now with that in mind, he would place his hands in his pockets as he noticed they were both in red, but they did not look like they were going down. How much health did these pricks have again? "How many of these are we going to have to take on again? I love the loot and all, but this is kind of getting stupid." Sey would mutter out loud, most certainly capable of reaching Hestia's ears. Miraak would take the time to heal the both of them, only for only Hestia to receive anything useful from such an attempt. Sey rolled his eyes at that pathetic attempt at healing. It was an NPC doing NPC things, he embraced it at this point.

Looking towards the duo i rush forward to try and follow upon on Sey's opening that he provided to try and kill this dang loot mob as i only kill one of them while raising my shield to block the other as the running corpse meets metal. Tossing it in Sey's direction by redirecting its motion i then just shrug my shoulders towards the white haired businessman. I think like three more groups if i can remember correctly how many that i faced with Domarus. There might be six or seven though based on how long this is taking compared to that time. I say towards Sey with a mix of joking and serious within my face as i than just wait for him to land the strike against the shambling corpse and for him to get the nice loot drop from it by doing so. My gaze surveying the area for anymore signs of combat on the way as another group of four looks like they're about to sprint towards us.

Sey shrugged off the fact that they had to do this sort of thing three more times. It wasn't necessarily the worst thing, though it would definitely have a rest at some time. With that, he would give her a nod. "Fair enough, that's still a lot of loot. Though I doubt we would be finished right then and there, so I think we will soon become quite familiar with break times." He explained before then looking back to the infected one that was closest in range. His eyes were unable to calculate by the pixel, so he was unable to tell whether another kick would be the end of it or not. so he would have to find out, a swift blur of his body before reappearing in front of the enemy with a smile before they took a swift foot, then shattered into pieces of data. "And with that, I think we have just finished the first group! Now to rinse and repeat that a few more times."

Sadly though seems like most of the loot has become primarily the trinkets that we keep getting. Seems like the new loot table has favored these, or that we just got some insane luck towards getting these  trinket things. I say with a chuckle at the slowly increasing horde of trinkets that we keep gaining into our possession as i can only think about how much this is going towards kairi to pay for all of these unidentifieds i'll be dropping on her again. Well Sey the opening strike is yours make it count. I say towards him with a grin across my face as i say those words as i than activate howl when Sey is about halfway between the distance of himself and the mobs so i can garner the hate towards myself as i hold shield and sword to prepare for the attack. The end of that one fight and onto the next. His energy bar was bound to be hit hard at this rate, but maybe the priest would take a shot at the enemy. Of course, he wouldn't. Instead, another heal felt by the both of them, meaning that they obtained yet another useless chance. Sey sighed before looking back to Hestia. "We have more luck with getting those trinkets than bringing this guy along, I swear." And it seemed like no response was given in turn. It was not Miraak's position to reply to such things, maybe not even programmed to do so in the first place. Good, it was hardly real for the priest to have a voice of reason and value considering his position. And Sey knew little of the event boss aspect to him as well, which would only worsen that lack of care for Miraak as well. Oh how lovely. At least he managed to strike three of the enemies so far.

I let out a low whistle at seeing Sey at least hit three of the enemies as i quickly retaliate by activating howl against the oncoming zombie hordes towards me once more with a grin across my face just looking rather optimistic and rather carefree about this fight as i hold onto my shield and and sword just waiting for a opening to charge against these zombies to give a good hit of my own. Turning towards one of the zombies i slam my shield into its chest to deal some thorns damage as it is forced to stay back as i than look towards Miraak and Sey as i just can't help but glare towards Miraak once more. Just that look of calm calculation as i can only imagine it in the context of him having looked at Kairi with those eye, with Kimi with those eyes. With those judging eyes as if trying to think of the best way to kill them and make sure it fulfills whatever this Artamiel had plans for with anyone who died during that event if players could be affected and all had died during the fight.

The enemies did not waste a chance at heeding to the howls that Hestia let out, for each one of them took their shots at her. Sey winced when they all struck her, two of them landing critical hits and reducing her health down to a dangerous level. "Hestia, careful! Get ready to switch when you need to!" Sey would warn, but that did not yet warrant a switch. If Hestia believed she could handle the pressure despite being in the yellow, then he was not going to doubt her. That in mind, he did need to inflict more damage before she ends up dead, so he would aim a swift and desperate tornado kick. Looks like they needed to rest up a bit more next time, and Miraak seemed not to care since he was too busy healing the status effects that weren't there in the first place. The fun of an NPC, being so useless and there is little gain to leaving it alone.

Focusing upon the enemies i activate my sword art while they are still close towards me and quickly cuts into them as a tornado of light surrounds my for only a moment as the mobs get reduced towards half in the yellow the other half still in the green. I do let out a low whistle of appreciation though for myself in being able to deal that kind of damage to most of them with such a high success rate as i can only find myself thanking this snowglobe around my neck for most likely being the case. Well Sey we're halfway there at the very least. I call over towards the white haired business man as i quickly take some steps back away from the mob zombie horde encase the priest Miraak gets the idea to nuke the entire field with some holy light of his. Knowing taht i wouldn't want to get caught in the middle of that not a day in my life.

Halfway there was one thing, but that was also where Hestia's health was at. On top of that, there was the fact that the enemies would barrage Hestia yet again, their hits tearing through her defenses as she tore through theirs, placing her dangerously close to the red zone, a spot Sey would hate to be in as a tank. With a snarl, he would have to take the initiative, for the priest was being no more than useless as of currently. "Hestia, I'm going to need you to switch with me!" Sey would announce, for he did not trust a field medic to keep her alive for very long at the rate she was losing health. They must have bit off more than they could chew, now they had to salvage the situation or have a dead Hestia in their wake. All he had to do was land his hits, and then he did with a swift kick to all of them! Yes! Now all that Hestia had to do was do the same and accept his offer.
