[F1-SP] Symphony <<Secret Medicine of the Forest>>

Recommended Posts

Seeing that the Nepent variant was much weaker now than she had originally thought, Symphony decided to finish it once and for all. "All right big guy, time to end this," she said while charging her blade for the final time. With her sword art activated, she charged the beast, and with two clean cuts, it fell right in half. The monster burst into tiny pixels and all was done. Symphony sighed and sheathed her weapon. It was finally over. She whistled to Cloak and he came down and landed on her shoulder. "Time to see what he dropped." She walked over to where the beast had died and saw what she needed the most. The Nepent's Ovule. She picked it up and carefully put it in a small leather pouch hanging at her side. "Alright, time to head back." She made sure everything was packed and headed to the small village in need of the medicine.

When she arrived at the village, she was met by the poor mother of the sickly child. She was let inside of their small wooden house and carefully handed over the Nepent's Ovule to the medicine woman of the village. The rest of the villagers were gathered outside the front door, the small children trying to peep through the legs of the adults to see what was happening. Everyone held their breath as the medicine woman prepared the Nepent's Ovule with some other ingredients to make a drinkable medicine. She put it to the young boy's lips and he drank slowly. The color seemed to immediately return to his face, and he opened his eyes for the first time in several days. He looked up at his mom and let out a weak smile. The medicine woman then said, "He smiles. He will be okay now. The worst has passed."

The mother came over to Symphony and drew her into a hug, weeping as the villagers cheered behind them, happy that one of the youngest would be safe.
