 Battle: 4

 Craft: 9

 Loot: 14 (+2 is 16, Chest found!)

 MOB: 2

Mina opened up her senses once again, this time searching for a treasure chest instead of a familiar, easily managing to find it with the different items that she was wearing and the skill that she had that boosted her searching abilities. The chest was a nice, snowy white color with dark blue stripes running down along the outer parts of the chest. She carefully documented how the chest looked in one of her virtual logs. She kept several different ones; a dream diary, which she kept hidden from others, and only wrote in sparingly, and whenever she had a nightmare, A treasure log, where she kept a log of which types of treasures and inventory items that she'd been able to find, and her money log, which kept track of her transactions with other players and shopkeeps, as well as her adventures that gave her decent amounts of col.

 MOB: 7

Item total: 1x perfect armor/shield (Unidentified), 2x rare consumables (unidentified)

col total: 600 col

mat total: x18 T1 mats

She knelt down, carefully starting to pick the lock on the chest, and after several minutes of hard work, she managed to break the chest open. There was a nice looking set of armor within it, a few odd looking consumables, 8 different materials that were of various types and colors. there were leaves, claws, feathers, and a few flowers within it as well. the final thing that lied within the chest was a small pile of col that was buried beside one of the nearby materials. She carefully scooped up the items one by one, logging them in her treasure guide, and placing them within her inventory as she did so. she checked her inventory, letting out a whistle of surprise when she saw the sheer amount of items within her inventory. She was now up to 18 different materials, she'd gained 600 col, and she'd gotten the consumables along with the strange armor set.

She eventually grew bored of the area that she was in, and continued onward, leaving the chest behind where she found it. She continued to bound through the trees around the woods, managing to avoid the branches that would have smacked her in the face if she wasn't careful. She held up her hands, using them to fling herself forward with a much greater speed than before. She didn't want to end up getting stuck within the trees if she was going to search for the familiar again soon. she had about half an hour before she could try again. She was hopeful that this was going to be the last time that she actually needed to search for the familiar, as she didn't want to keep Rosa waiting much longer, as the older woman had prepared a large meal for everyone. As it was, mina wasn't quite sure why Rosa had yet to send her any messages asking where she was at.

She let out a frustrated sound, before travelling back towards the place that she had come from, hoping to find the familiar while she was still on her way back to the main settlement. She carefully began to search the area, hoping to find some items that she could use to create a few potions as well while she was moving, but so far she was having absolutely no luck with that. She let out a sigh, before moving faster, not even bothering to search as well as she had before, boredom seeping into her mind as she did so. How much longer was she going to have to do this again? was she just going to be stuck in the forest for the rest of the afternoon searching for more materials and her familiar? was she just going to be late to meet up with her friend at her bar? She shook her head vehemently, scowling inwardly at her increasingly angry and worried thoughts.

She understood why quests like this existed, especially when she saw how easy it would be to get ahold of familiars if there wasn't a limit for how often you were supposed to be able to reattempt to search for the familiars that were spawned through the quest. She searched again for some materials, her eyes scanning over every nook and cranny of the area in an attempt to find them. She was still having absolutely no luck with it, and she was starting to get rather frustrated with this, a frustrated growl escaping her throat. She lept back into one of the trees, before taking off her mask, and leaning back into the tree to try and relax. She didn't need to be running around with anger in her mind, and she did need a small nap for the moment, given that she hadn't slept at all last night.. or the night before last... She actually really needed the sleep. With a yawn, she laid back in the tree boughs, and quickly fell asleep.

 Loot: 7

 MOB: 1

She was briefly within a light sleep, dreaming of some of the happier things that she had done in this world. Chatting with friends, enjoying a beer with some of her more mature friends, and enjoying life in general. It made the fact that she had a rough life almost unbelievable... Almost. She  nearly fell out of the tree when she was startled out of her sleep by a bloody face, scaring her awake. She then simply spent several minutes trying to calm her racing heart. It wasn't the first time that the thing that had awakened her from sleep was the bloodied faces of her friends, though that was one of the first times it had been Declan, that was for sure. She carefully logged the details of the dream in her notebook, slightly shaking. She decided, with a bit of sadness in her thoughts, that she was just going to keep having to fight against those kinds of dreams, and hope that they didn't affect her in the real world.

mina ended up falling out of the tree, startled enough that she didn't even brace herself for impact, and caused a small chunk of her health to dissipate as she tumbled down to the ground from the high-up perch she'd taken. She didn't think that there would ever be a time where she wasn't more glad that the game dulled any and all pain that was coming to them to a prickly numbness. It was better than what would have happened in the real world, she'd have probably broken a bone or two from falling that far, not that it was something that she hadn't done before. She loved climbing various things for a high-up perch to look down from. She loved the feeling of being able to share photographs of the view after she'd taken them with her camera. She loved being able to play-fight with her friends in the snow, being able to enjoy a warm bowl of soup after spending time in the freezing cold all day. It was one of the best feelings in the world.

Mina finally decided to pull herself up from where she had fallen, resting her back against the tree,  trying her best to keep her breathing even. She closed her eyes, shaking slightly as she sat against the tree. She was still shaking violently from being woken up so suddenly, and then she'd taken a tumble down from where she'd been sleeping, and lost part of her health. Needless to say, she was still in a state of fear-ridden shock, and it was Awful. She curled up slightly, tears dripping down her face as she silently cried. It wasn't whether she was actually hurt or not, that wasn't the issue. It was the fact that she had woken up in tears, and nearly having a panic attack. She held her face in her hands, and silently waited for time to pass quicker, so she didn't have to stay here any longer. She didn't want to be alone in the cold, actually, she didn't think she wanted to be alone like this again... 'Not ever again' she thought her eyes still brimming with tears.

 Loot: 4

 MOB: 6

Violet didn't really remember how long she sat there on her own, not even really moving, and just crying. it was the worst feeling that she thought she could have. Loneliness tended to grate on her mentally until she started to break down like she just had. She eventually managed to get up, shakily, and continue to trudge through the snow. At least it was cold enough here to snap her out of her thoughts, and make her keep moving through the woods to avoid freezing. Not that it would really kill a player to be too cold, unless it was a mob causing the feeling that is. That wasn't anywhere near what she was worrying about, though, so she simply shoved the useless information to the back of her mind, and kept moving forward, eventually coming to a snowy looking clearing, and revealing something similar to the frost flower field that she had spotted earlier, her eyes widening with awe.

A few moments later, the instant she entered the field, a loud chirping sound echoed out from somewhere nearby, and a small, feathered creature swooped down, causing her hood to fall off, and she caught a full glimpse of the small, feathery dragon. her eyes went wide when she recognized the soft, jet black feathers, though there were now snowy white and icy blue feathers dappled in, creating a rather beautiful gradient effect along its paws and tail-feathers. the part that she recognized the most, however, was the brilliant red eyes that pierced into her. She shared a long look with the small dragon, both of them entranced in the appearance of each other... then the little dragon darted off, hiding inside of the flower field. Violet snickered, before vaulting off of the small ledge she had entered in on, landing in the middle of the giant flowers, and started her chase of her old friend.

Akame was much more playful than what she remembered, eliciting a grin from her as she began to look for the diminutive dragon. She was playing hide and seek with her! Violet began looking over every nook and cranny, trying to figure out where she would be hiding. The scenery, however, seemed to make quite a good background for the familiar to hide in, causing violet to let out a sound of frustration. It was probably going to take a few minutes to figure out how to get ahold of her, which irritated her to an extreme level. She was certain that she would be able to get to her, though. She vaulted over another one of the branches of a frost plant, and slid under a thick wall of ice-cold brambles. She was not about to get left behind by her friend, this time she was absolutely certain.

Mina ran faster, calling out to her friend, occasionally hearing a faint chirp or cry in reply. Akame was very well hidden now, and it was bound to take several minutes for her to be found. She swiftly moved through the area, continuing to vault over the various branches, vines, and icy walls. She ducked under icy branches and bramblethorn walls, taking care not to get injured. At one point she even managed to hop on top of an icy tree to get a vantage point, leading to her calling out to her friend, her voice carrying loud and clear. "Come back Akame!" she shouted, cupping her hands in front of her mouth to bolster its volume. She didn't want to be alone anymore. it was so, so lonely being like this. She wanted her friend back already!

Her searching was starting to get a bit frantic, and her eyes kept flickering back and forth trying to find the tiny familiar among all of the vines, flowers, and branches. She forced her legs to move her faster, tears starting to well up in her eyes as the cold air buffeted her face. She just wanted to be able to hold her little friend again, and keep them safe and warm in her arms, and then never let them go again.

Violet finally managed to reach a small clearing in the area full of icy plants, and started looking around wildly. She heard one chirp, two, three. they were getting louder and louder the longer she looked around. four, five, six. she could have sworn she'd seen a flash of black and blue rush by her, causing her eyes to widen, and her eyes to flicker around, almost wildly at the idea of her little friend finally coming back. Seven, Eight, Nine, Ten! A fluffy black creature shot out of one of the frost bramble bunches, landing right on her chest and knocking her over. Mina let out a cry of Joy, before clutching Akame to her chest, tears dripping down her face as she did so. "Kyuruuuu!" mina laughed as Akame's cursor changed from the standard mob cursor to a full-blown familiar cursor. She gently sat up, holding Akame in her arms. "Welcome back, old friend.."  she whispered, holding her tightly, the tiny familiar nuzzling her cheek.

Violet stood up eventually, Akame simply just climbing onto her shoulder now, and began to climb out of the area, a feeling of warmth emanating from within herself. She felt happier than she had before, and even had a new spring in her step as she walked through the forest, snagging a small fruit off of one of the nearby trees, and punting it into her inventory, before materializing an apple for herself, and a peanut butter cookie, which Akame quickly devoured, a chirp of delight escaping the little dragon. Mina quickly ate the apple as she walked, slashing it with her rapier to cause it to shatter as she walked past. A smile crossed her face as she walked forward, a chuckle escaping her throat as she moved forward. her old friend was just as energetic as she remembered her being when they first met. She giggled as Akame climbed up and sat on top of her head, her tail twitching with anticipation.

Mina decided to pass the time by trying to get akame to do a few tricks for her using the peanut-butter cookies to get her to do the tricks, a smile crossing her face as she saw the dragon do flips and send out gusts of wind in her direction to try and entertain her in exchange for the cookies. Mina giggled as she remembered how she had even tamed the little dragon in the first place. She had practically ran up to her to get the cookies from a small bag that she had been carrying them around in, so that she could tame her. It was where she had made friends with a friendly panda and a certain blonde haired player that she had adventured with for quite some time when she was still relatively newbish to the area, and still fairly weak. They both had been fairly weak back then, though now she was a much higher level.

Mina carefully walked back to where she had come from, the icy field being her favorite area of the floor. She loved the way the scenery seemed to reflect and glitter in the rising sun, and even how it seemed to gleam in the evening light. Violet had several photographs of the early days from when she used to go here as a lower-leveled player, and she felt excitement bubble up within herself. She remembered the old days when she was terrified to go to the higher floors (not that this really counts as a higher floor now, they were now well into the 20th floor section of aincrad), and when she was still rather anti-social in regards to communicating with others. she hated how she had acted back when she started out, and she regretted not being able to work hard and be a part of a group that was important to everyone.

Violet shot a hand out towards a small fruit that was hanging from one of the nearby trees, catching the branch next to it as she grabbed the fruit, and swung herself up into the tree, and continued her trek back to the clearing she'd started her search in. she moved somewhat faster when she realized that she was going to be a bit late for her visit with Rosa at her guild, which had her starting to leap and bound through the trees, Akame fluttering behind her as she ran. The little dragon was having a bit of trouble trying to keep up with her due to how fast she was running, and was chirping madly as she flew closer to her, and then started gliding beside Violet as she ran. She checked her menu clock, sighing when she saw how late it was getting. It was already almost evening, and the sun was fairly low in the sky at this point.

She was starting to get hungry again, running seemed to have that effect on her at the very least from how it seemed at the very least. her Cloak was billowing out behind her, and she felt Akame dig her talons into her shoulder as she rested, the little dragon seeming exhausted from trying to keep up with her. She noticed a vendor selling freshly made meat buns on the side of the cobblestone path, along with what seemed to be taiyaki, which she immediately approached, and grabbed two of each, before paying the stand owner for selling the treats on such a cold day. She popped one of the meat buns into her mouth, and held the other up to Akame's mouth so that she could enjoy it too, the diminutive dragon chirping happily as she ate the treat. Violet smiled warmly at the tiny dragon, giving a friendly wave to the street vendor as she exited back out of the settlement.
