Alec found himself walking through the town of Krycim the main settlement of the Sixth Floor. The majority of the inhabitants all appeared to be large (six feet or taller) tanned muscular women with dark colored hair. So this floor is dedicated to the Amazonian culture Alec thought to himself as he walked the natural pathways that made up the roads here within the town. Outside the Town he had heard was dense jungle and various real, mythical and prehistoric creatures. Wild cats from the jungles of the real world to include Giant Sloths he had heard and something called a Kobold, whatever that was Alec thought to himself. He had heard talk of a question this floor that involved an oversized Tiger of flames and the sheer thought had brought here straight away.  He had heard the monstrous beast was named Byakko or something close to that. All these different languages and themes sometimes made things hard for him to keep straight he was a simple man and smart but not overly educated so some of the references and nuances went over his head but he'd make due the best he could as was his way.

As Alec made his way through Krycim he spoke to many people and asked numerous questions of the non player characters he encountered throughout the tribal village. After much questioning Alec discovered that the ready was in fact named Byakko and it had last been seen in the vicinity of a section of the forest known as Amazon's Folly. It appeared this beast of fire was a tiger like creature that left flaming foot prints where ever he walked causing fire to spread and leaving devistation and ash in its wake. This beast was a serious issue and needed to be dealt with before it burned down Amazon's Folly and possibly even more or all of this floor as it was all dense forested jungle. Once Alec had all the information he felt he needed he set off towards the town's main gate and the dense jungle beyond in search of a tiger like creature made of fire with his friend and trusted travelling companion Humphrey by his side.

As Alec reached the courtyard he reached out and with his index finger performed a quick downward swipe to open his inventory. Once his inventory was opened he began scrolling through the items listed within looking over his various items as he began to mentally choose the ones he would use. First he reached out and tapped the icon that represented his Vanquisher Shoulder Armor with his index finger causing the air around his shoulders to shimmer and waver as if a heat mirage was located there as his heavy armor shoulder guards appeared securely attached to his body and covering his shoulders, chest and back. The armored shoulder guards had a polished look to them and had large Celtic engravings etched into the armors surface. Alec performed a quick visual inspection of them to ensure all was as it should be with them before he turned back to his inventory and continued his perusal of the items listed within as he looked for his next item he wanted.

Alec contiued scrolling through the items listed within his inventory till he found the next item he was looking for. Alec stopped his scrolling when he found his shield Mirror's Embrace. Alec reached out his index finger and tapped the picture that represented his shield causing the air around his forearm to shimmer as if another heat mirage were centered there before his shield appeared firmly attached to his forearm. Alec glanced down and eyed his shield approving. It had a mirrored face that drew his opponents eyes to it enhancing his Hate generation and a razor sharp edge that resembled a giant saw blade that sliced into his opponents very effectively when they managed to strike him. The corner of Alec's mouth cracked into a smile as he eyed the shield approvingly. It had served him well so far and he saw a bright future ahead with this shield strapped to his arm.

Alec contiued his scrolling through the items listed within his inventory till he came to his weapons he had two axes to choose from till he upgraded to a second Tier battle axe. But for now he had his Mithril Battle Axe which was extremely agile but very damaging and then he had his Axe of Rending as well. His Axe of Rending was no where near as agile and his Mithril Battle Axe but when he got a solid hit the serrated blade of his Axe of Rending tire viscous gaping wounds into his opponents. After a short deliberation between the two Alec selected his Axe of Rending and watched as the air above his fist shimmered and wavered as if another heat mirage were positioned there before his deadly serrated battle axe appeared grasped firmly in his large fist. Alec turned the axe over in his grip and gave it a few tight spins to reacquaint himself with its wright and balance before skipping it into the loop at his hip as he prepared to finish his pre quest ritual and head out into the looming jungle before him.

Alec prepared to finish his scrolling through the items inside his inventory as he began looking at items to add to his Battle Ready Items list. After looking at various consumables and such Alec settled on adding only one item to his Battle Ready Items list. Alec reached out and tapped the image next to his Luck Stone and added that to the first open space in his Battle Ready Items list and hit the <ACCEPT> button lock in his choices as he closed his inventory and strode through the open archway that led out into the dense jungle of Floor Six and his awaiting quest beyond. Alec had read about jungles such as the Amazon Rainforest but being a simple garbage man from middle America Alec had never actually seen one in person. In movies yes, in books also yes but he never dreamed he'd be stepping out into one or at least a digital version of one which was close to nearly be the real thing. Alec marvelled at the foliage with its vibrant colors and the sheer size of these trees. This was unlike anything Alec had ever thought to experience and was in awe of what he was seeing before him.

As Alec walked through the damp rainy dense jungle out side the town of Krycim within a hundred feet of leaving the village the jungle swallowed him up and the only evidence of which way to go was the minor signs of the trail he was on. Otherwise all sight of the village behind him was swallowed by the dense jungle surrounding him. Alec walked along wary for any sounds or movement that might signify a hostile creature or Player nearby. There was no chance for visual ques because by the time Alec would be able to see the foliage moving whatever was moving the foliage would be right on top of him, so Alec strained his ears to see if he could pick up the sound of any movement or rustling of the surrounding fauna. Unfortunately for the Alec the steady fall of rain did a better than adequate job of also making any sounds he might pick up on as well. For all intents and purposes Alec was moving blind and deaf through this intensely thick jungle searching for a Tiger of fire while he could barely hear or see anything this was going to be a grand ol time Alec thought to himself as he continued his way through the dense foliage listening to the sounds of rain beat down upon the leaves of the plants surrounding him.

Alec breathed deeply as he walked deeper and deeper into the unbelievably dense jungle of the Sixth Floor. The scents were unlike anything he had ever experienced before in the real world. The smells were just as intense as the vibrant colors on the flowers surrounding him were as well. Seeing a version ,even if only a digital one, of a real life rainforest was truly breathtaking and nearly overwhelming to the large man. As he walked he heard a rustling from above and looked up slack jawed as he spot an enormous hairy creature with elongated arms slowly swinging through the branches. The creature was easily three times Alec's size and several hundred feet in the air as it slowly swung from branch to branch high above him in the lower portions of the trees canopy. Alec stared in wonder as gigantic creature swung out of his sight disappearing in the oversized trees limbs about him. As the wonder disappeared out if sight Alec shook his head to clear it and continued his travels through the jungle in search if any sign of the fire tiger he was in search of.

As Alec contiued on the tiny path that couldn't even really be called a trail as bushes brushed up against him as he walked through the incredibly dense foliage surrounding him. Alec continued to walk with the rain falling steadily upon him his beard and all his clothing long since soaked and sopping wet. As Alec progressed forward he heard a rustle from up ahead and stopped pulling his Axe of Rending free of the loop at his hip as he crept forward slowly as he scanned his surroundings for any other signs of movement. Before Alec could do much more a bush just in front of him began violently shaking just before a horde of tiny red skinned waist high lizard like bipeds broke free of the dense surrounding foliage and sped across the trail he was travelling along and disappeared back into the underbrush on the other side of the poor excuse for a trail Alec was using. As the small creatures disappeared the rustling stopped and the only noise was again the sound of the rail falling upon the bushes around him.

As Alec contiued along the trail, if it could really be called that, Alec spotted something on the ground that stood out as out of the ordinary. Alec crept closer and knelt down on the damp squishy ground and shifted a branch out of the way to peer at appeared to be a singed paw print. Having seen cougar tracks back home on many a hunting trip Alec spotted the obvious feline shape imprint immediately, the odd thing was that the print wasn't do much impressed as it was burned into the ground. A bright glint flickered into Alec's eyes as the realization set in that he'd found his prey's tracks. No he simply needed to follow them till he found their source then he'd have his target before him and he could defeat it finishing his current quest and move on to the next one till he finally reached his goal. As Alec bent over inspecting the burned paw print Alec's gaze shifted to the side and he spotted a brightly colored mushroom growing out of the soft ground to his side near the paw print. Alec reached out and plucked the mushroom from the soggy ground and placed it in his inventory with the faintest glimpse of a smile crack the corner of his mouth and his perpetual scowl as he stood up and continued his journey through the jungle following the trail of paw prints burned into the ground.

As Alec followed the burnt paw prints through the jungle Alec soon stopped and sniffed at the air as he picked up a familiar smell.....ash, like an old campfire the next morning after it had burned out. Alec took another sniff of the air to ensure he was smelling what he thought he was smelling, once he was sure he nodded to himself and glanced over his shoulder at his friend and trusted travelling companion Humphrey the American black bear cub. "We're getting close pal." Alec whispered to his friend. "Are you ready? I'm not sure how tough it is so I need you ready to help as soon as possible in case the fight turns bad. You ready pal?" Alec asked the bear cub. Humphrey responded with a soft low growl and a vertical toss of his head. Alec smiled at the young bear. "That's my boy!" Alec stated with joy and determination as he turned back to their direct of travel and continued walking through the jungle.

As Alec continued to follow the trail of burnt paw prints the char smell grew stronger the farther he travelled before he finally stepped through a solid wall of foliage to crunch into a bar open field of singed ground and charred burned trees. Compared to the life and vibrancy of the jungle this was a whole nother world of barren devistation and there before him stood a waist high feline made of pure fire or near enough for Alec's liking as he raised his Axe of Rending up over his shoulder and charged the fiery beast with his shield held up before him. The beast let out a growl of challenge and loped towards him. Alec stopped short of the beast and as it lunged at him Alec swung his battle axe down. The beasts hardened body resisted most of the damage his swing delivered but as he pulled his serrated axe head free it tore a viscous jagged wound in the beasts hide that leaked fiery droplets of blood that fizzed as they struck the ground. The fiery beast bit into Alec but his heavy armor shoulder guards deflected most the creatures bite as it teeth punctured Alec's flesh causing his Battle Healing to kick in and heal the wound as Alec swung his saw bladed shield around and tore into the fire beasts chest opening a large cut there plunged it's health bar down nearly a third.

Alec brought his shield back up in front of him to defend against the fiery beast as he raised his battle axe back up over his shoulder ready for the beast to attack him again. The fiery creature paced around Alec as he patiently stood his ground and turned keeping his opponent in front of him and his shield between them both. When Byakko finally leaped at Alec he swung his battle axe down and again barely broke the surface of the beast fiery hardened hide. The creature of fire sailed through the air and crashed into Alec's shield but he threw his shield arm out to the side and tossed the beast free of him without taking the smallest scratch as he brought his shield back in front of himself and readied his axe to swing again as watched the creature of fire roll onto its feet and stalk away glaring a promise of fiery death at Alec as it angrily paced back and forth at a distance as Alec stood calmly waiting for the beast to come forward again.

As Byakko paced back and forth outside of Alec's range he stood patiently waiting for the beast to make its move. Alec held his shield up in front of himself and between himself and the beast as he twisted his axe in his grip giving it an easy spin every now and then as he waited. Finally the beast bolted toward Alec at a dead sprint. As the beast neared Alec hoisted his battle axe over his shoulder and prepared to swing. As the large man stepped forward and swung the serrated battle axe down he caught his toe on an exposed root and tripped mid swing tumbling as he fell prone on the ground landing flat on his back with his shield held above him. The fiery beast lept into the air and landed with its front paws atop Alec's shield as he fought the tiger like creature off and thrust it away using pure brute force.

As Alec thrust the fiery tiger like creature off him it tumbled across the ground growling and snarling as it righted itself and glared balefully at the large man confronting it. Alec scrambled to his feet and stood facing the fiery creature as he brought his shield up in front of himself to defend and hefted his Axe of Rending as he readied himself to face Byakko again. As Alec stood ready for the fiery tiger it sprang at him again. Alec drew his serrated battle axe up and stepped forward to swing but this time stepped on the roof he had previously tripped over and rolled his ankle flopping and flouncing and fell to the ground in a heap of arms and legs and muscles. The tiger of fire soared through the air and at the last second Alec was able to extract his shield from the jumble of limbs that was himself and thrust it up in the creatures way knocking it to the side and harmlessly away from himself as he twisted and turned on the ground trying to unknot himself and free himself from the bonds that were he.

As Alec struggled to free himself from the bonds that were himself he thought back to his first days not so very long ago of adventuring and fight a certain group of board and how he had spent nearly as much time in the dirt as he had fighting them. This fight was beginning to become very reminiscent of that Alec thought to himself with a grumble as he finally unknotted himself and braced himself pushing up and raising his body off of the ground as he gathered his feet below himself and stood up. Alec stood and brought his shield back up in front of himself to defend against the fiery tiger as he brought his battle axe back preparing himself for the beasts next attack as he took several derp calming breaths. Byakko lurched forward sprinting across the ground toward the large man who had invaded it's lair and kept into the air teeth bared and jaw held wide ready to bite. As the beady if fire flew through the air Alec brought his Axe of Rending up over his shoulder and prepared to swing at the deadly fireball hurtling towards him. Alec swung down with his battle axe and struck the fiery creature barely knocking into the creature's hide but as he pulled the serrated axe through the tail of his swing it tore savagely into the creatures side and ripped a wide gaping rent into it's flesh that spewed red pixels and drops of fire. The beast flew on as Alec lifted his shield and blocked the leaping creature knocking it away from himself and sending it tumbling to the side and harmless away.

Alec eyed the fire tiger as it regained its footing and turned back toward him. It's health bar had dropped to half and turned yellow while Alec's health bar was still green and at full to boot. Alec's eyes took on a predatory glint and sparkle as he gritted his teeth and raised his shield back up in front of himself to defend against the tiger of fire and hefted his axe in his other hand waiting for Byakko to make its move. After a short time Byakko contracted and quickly flexed it's muscles launching itself at Alec like a fiery comet. Alec brought his Axe of Rending back up over his shoulder and swung down connecting with the ball of fire and muscle nicking it but again as Alec pulled his serrated axe head through the end of his swing it tore viscously into the creatures hide reopening the ragged wound there spilling more red pixels and drops of fire from the gaping wide wound. As Byakko flew on it tore into Alec's side fire it's large razor like teeth as fire spewed from its mouth searing the flesh of Alec's side as it tore a wound of its own into the man who threatened it. Alec's Battle Healing kicked in and began sealing some if the wound but its extent was too much for his healing to compensate for.

As soon as Byakko bit into Alec's side with it's mouth spewing fire across the open wound the beast retreated just out if Alec's range to stare and growl at the large man with a look of achievement and gloating in its fiery eyes. Alec stared a hard eyed stare at the beast as he smiled a viscous toothy grin at the creature of fire as he stretched and moved feeling the twinge from the open caughterized wound in his side. As Alec stood shield raised and battle axe held ready the tiger of fire again launched itself at Alec as he stood waiting with a hard gleam in his eyes. As the creature of fire and muscle hurled itself through the air at the large man he raised his battle axe up over his shoulder and swung down connecting with Byakko and it's toughed fiery hide barely nicking it's flesh with the strike. The fiery tiger continued to hurtle in at Alec as it again but deeply into Alec's side spewing fire from its mouth as its teeth sank into Alec's flesh tearing the wound in his side wider as more flew spewed forth cauterizing the wound further. Alec let out a hiss as he inhaled sharply from the sting. His Battle Healing fought to seal the wound but again came up short as Alec felt a familiar and heart warming warmth and tingle as his body flooded with Humphrey's healing energy.

The fight was progressing well in Alec's opinion, Byakko was down to one third of its health and Alec had only taken to hits that had left any sort of non major lasting damage that his Battle Healing hadn't been able to heal completely. Thanks to Humphrey he had recovered a good chunk of health a moment ago. He really needed to upgrade his familiar's healing ability it just felt like there are so many aspects he needed to boost and it felt like they all needed to be done now. Alec brought his shield back up in front of himself to defend against the flame tiger as he spun his battle axe lazily around as he eyed the beast and waited for it to make its move. As Byakko slunk forward glaring balefully at Alec the large man brought his battle axe up over his shoulder as he readied to attack. The fiery tiger lunged at Alec throwing itself through the air at the large man. As the beast flew Alec swung down but the fiery cats deft movements were too fast and Alec's swing was seconds too late missing its mark. As the creature flew on it collided with Alec's shield as he brought it up to defend. Byakko rebounded off the shield harmless and circled round to gain some distance as it roared a violent sound promising pain and suffering.

Alec fought on against the tiger of fire named Byakko. He had reduced his foe to one third of its total hit points but the fight wasn't over yet. The pair fought on currently at a stake mate, neither able to deliver a solid blow to the other. But that did not deter Alec, this was his war, one of attrition and he was becoming quite skilled at it. He could fight the long fight and soon he would become one of it's masters but that was all in due time. Alec waited shield held defensively up before him and battle axe held loosely by his side waiting for his opponents next move to attack. As the creature of fire bolted forward Alec brought his battle axe up over his shoulder and swung down, but as his serrated battle axe head descended the tiger of fire dodged to the side narrowly avoiding the downward swung from the large man. As Byakko raced in it opened it's jaws wide and sank its teeth into Alec's side exhaling a gout of flame from mouth that seared and charred the flesh of the big man as its teeth sank in and tore open his side.
