Kityuisa watched as Bahr slid down the slope, followed shortly by Kirbs. Kityuisa grinned and slid down as well, it seemed safe enough.. Kityuisa began to walk forward slowly, "It's so pretty..." She wanted to get close enough to pet the lovely dragon. Kityuisa got closer and closer until she stumbled backwards in fear as the dragon hatchling let out a screech Kityuisa's eyes widened... She was done for.... Not a moment after she thought this was her end, a flash appeared. Blood red energy seeped and shot towards the hatchling, bursting it into pixels. Kityuisa looked at the source, the man who had been laying on the grass prior... the man that had seemed upset with all of them... the man who could now, confirmed kill Kityuisa in a single blow... "Oh my god... You have to help us with the next few dragon quests." Kityuisa nodded, inviting him to her party.

"Interesting," Bahr mused as he witnessed the dragon burst into a billion triangular blue pixels. His eyes flickered around, searching for the source of the beast's destruction. It wasn't long before his eyes fell upon the very same man from before, seemingly frozen in an epic pose post gigantic lizard annihilation. It seemed he had come to save them after all. Definitely not a pre-planned and scripted sequence. Not at all.

He walked up the man and regarded him, offering little more than a thankful nod. Bahr realized that holding out his hand for a handshake was an exercise in futility. He would be left hanging, embarrassed and ashamed. No, it was best to just continue playing the cold stoic type. That would definitely make him seem cool.
"Thanks for the assist." Yes, perfect. It didn't get much cooler than that. Even the narrator was impressed. Not really, but he would pretend to be so if it helped quell Bahr's insufferable ego.

Kirbs was just about ready to defend herself from the raging dragon until a quick blur whizzed past her. She spat the hair out of her mouth as it flew into her face and blinked at the sight in front of her. The hatchling wasn't much more than a few pixels in the air, and to be honest, it made her a tiny bit sad that such a pretty creature was gone. And whoop-whoop-- the person who saved them seemed to be no other than the lovely Pinball.

Fan-bloody-tastic.

Kirbs felt the urge to scowl again, but kept it down... for now. Although, she was silently grateful to him for killing the dragon. She didn't want to put Kityuisa and Bahr's life in danger, after all. But hell, she was bloody right. What if Pinball wasn't here? They could be dead for God's sake! God, damn it, not she felt like she owed him! Or was it more of him paying for past accidents? He did chop off her friend's arm after all. That whole fiasco was his fault too!

The redhead rubbed the back of her neck as she muttered a small curse under her breath. "Yeah," she mumbled, casting her crimson eyes at the ground, "thanks for saving us, I guess." And holy hell, as much as she wanted to whack Kityuisa for completely forgetting about her warning from earlier-- she couldn't help but let out a small sigh of relief. They were safe, that's all that really mattered.

"Don't feel like I owe you anything, either," she spoke up, suddenly feeling a tad, tad, tad, bit more confident. "Now, those two might," she paused, gesturing at Kityuisa and Bahr for a second before focusing back on Pinball, "but I'm not forgetting about all the bull I've put up with before this," she seethed.

"Mmm."

Pinball winced. Why had he decided to do this again, exactly? He felt a wave of regret crashing down on him. Rolling his eyes and looking away, Pinball spun on his heel and started to walk away. With nothing more than a dismissive wave, Pinball was ready to be on his own again.

The party, though, seemed like they had other plans.

And her. God, he hated her. Kind of. Not really. But still - no.

For a second he paused, his eyes met with a miniature message screen that burned holes in his head. After that brief moment of hesitation, he brought a finger up and clicked Deny. If they thought he was going to help them through an entire quest line, they had another thing coming.

Pinball shook his head as he started on the long walk back to a particularly comfy patch of grass. Their eagerness to level up was unsightly, and he didn't want to be stuck dealing with that.

Not for now, at least.

Kityuisa watched as Pinball denied her party request. Her eyes narrowed. "Well, the name's Kityuisa!" Kit had no clue what the man's name was, what his level was, or anything like that... But one thing was for certain. Pinball could very well be, the only orange player that wouldn't kill her. Kityuisa shrugged him off, turning away she faced Kirbs and Bahr, "Honestly, i'm pooped. Can we table our dragon adventures until we are a bit of a higher level?" Kityuisa pleaded with the two of them. Her gaze falling across the entire plains. It really was beautiful and she really did miss the sight of the mystical dragon. But she would be able to see the next hatchlings in the future! Then eventually she would be able to see an actual REAL LIFE DRAGON! Kityuisa couldn't wait. But for now, she had had a breathtaking adventure and lived to tell the tail.
