With the battle over and down with, she quickly turns her attention towards the next target, wolf number 3 and she quickly approaches the wolf to follow up with yet another Han'ei, this time, she found her footing and was able to land a hit against the wolf. The wolf, in its shocking stage, tries to counter attack against Nora too and it succeeded!! Landing a critical hit on Nora. Because it was a critical hit, Nora's armor thorn was useless against it. Nora bite down on her lower lip and bare through the pain that it caused. So far wolf number three is proving itself to be tougher than wolf number one and wolf number two and maybe she was taking it too lightly. Time to focus and take on this opponent properly if she wants to avoid any further injury.

Nora cursed again and picks up the wolf by the back of its far and swing it away from her with as much force as she could have possibly mustered. At the same time she tries to swing her sword against the wolf, attempting to attack it in mid air. The wolf groans at her and tries to bite her in the arm again.. But because of the swinging action in motion currently, neither the player nor the beast manage to connect their attack on each other. They both missed each other and forced to stop for a bit to regain their balance. The wolf landed by the lake bed not far away from Nora, and the eagle on Nora's shoulder has taken flight at this time and was circling around in the sky, crying in a strange noise. Nora thinks she understands it. There will be more wolf coming this way, she needs to finish this fast and run for it...

The battle tide of the battle looks like it was turning in her favour. After the double miss from both sides last time, she finally manages to land a hit. But now is not the time to underestimate her opponent, she can never do that, not unless she wants to get killed out here. Somehow, fighting these wolves are giving her more courage. Fighting alone and in actual danger gives her the encourage to face the challenge up ahead. She hopes that the strange eagle sees this up in the sky and decides to drops down again! Nora took a deep breath and perform Han'ei on the wolf again. The wolf tries to counter attack against her but Nora manage to dodge away at the very last second. The wounds helped her in chipping away at the wolf's health bar.

Nora knows that she really needs to finish this battle and fast, her energy is not going to hold up for much longer. Once she cannot perform her sword art Han'ei anymore, she will no longer be able to keep up dealing this damage output. The new katana houou is proving itself usefully when it procs.  But now it is time to follow up on the previous attack, Nora carefully avoided the wolf's charge by stepping to the side. When the wolf charges past her, she turns on her heels and follows up with yet another critical hit against the wolf. But it looks like the wolf does not have enough health bar left to withstand yet another bleed, it will dead the next time it moves if Nora can land another critical hit, and with the victory in sight and Nora can't help but grin at that thought.

Nora cursed, she has swing her sword with just a little bit too much force. In her attempt to land a critical hit, she overshot her target. She did managed to land a hit, but it was not a critical. What is more, the overly large swing of her sword makes her movement predictable and the wolf was able to target her weakness and seizing the chance when it presents itself. When Nora swing and leaves an opening in her armor, the wolf moves in and landed a critical hit against Nora's arm, it even manages to avoid the thorn in the same process. Things are not looking good for Nora as both her health bar and her energy is now running dangerously low. If she is not careful, she could die here, it is time to finish the fight and exit combat as soon as possible.

Nora's next attack should be able to finish off this wolf, but at its very last moment, it looks like it wants to attack her and might even be able to land a hit at its last moments, but that was neither here nor there. The wolf will disappear into the air soon. As long as she doesn't miss again that is. It is all in good timing as she does not have much energy left to perform anymore sword art. She needs to start thinking about her exit strategy soon regardless of whether she was able to kill this wolf or not. If she has to run away from the fight, she will do so as well. The extra combat exp and loot is all good and well, but it is not worth it to be risking her life over. This is just a random monster too, not a boss or anything like that.

Now that the combat was done and over with. Nora checks the sky and it looks like it might get dark soon. She knows that birds are usually unable to see in the dark so they don't come out at night time, with a few exceptions, so she knows her time is running out. The immediate threat has been dealt with and she is safe once again. But she is running out of energy and is in dangerously low health for second floor's standard. What is more, monsters generally become more active during the night time and she has to get out of the wild area and back to the town as soon as possible. Nora looks around for the way back to the safe zone, while she has time, she will try to pick up materials on the way back. Going quickly to where the last wolf was killed, she checked her loot.

Now that the battle is over, and she quickly loot the wolf. She has a really bad really that the wolves won't be so forgiving to her. She has already killed what...three of its kind now? Wolves are known to live in packs and she suspects that more will be running after here to get revenge. In fact, that very last howl from the last wolf sounded a lot like a howl to call its pack over to this side. Since wolves can naturally run faster than she can, she doesn't have much time to stick around here. She calls her eagle over and starts to dart towards the safe zone, not stopping for anything except to avoid encountering any more monsters along her way. Eventually, she was able to return back to the safe zone before nightfall and finally found the gypsy lady again. Thanking her for the pet food, Nora returns what is left over from the pet food back to the gypsy lady NPC and bids her goodbye. It has been a very very long day, she has lost so much health bar from the fight that she needs to take a rest for a while before venturing out into the wild again.
