Randal had just departed from floor 2 after aiding a desperate mother reunite with her child who had been lost in some caves while playing. He had journey there with night and a new friend Basuke and was now heading back home to his shop, while looking through his inventory he spotted the package that Sir Tealeaf has tallied him to pass to Hannah. It was right then that he decided to quickly get on it and not delay any further. As Randal wondered through the town of beginners to look for the recipient of his package, he spotted what looked to be his destination.

Randal approached the groove of emerald trees and flowers and spotted a young lad named a Hannah. She had long black hair tied down to her waist via braids and wore a fairly common place Painters attire with white shirt and brown overalls. She carried her palette on the floor beside her while holding a canvas up with her hands to paint.

Randal quickly meet up with Hannah and introduced himself as the intrepid young adventure that Sir Tealeaf has sent in the journey. Hannah graciously accepted the parcel and started spouting some exposition about how this parcel contained a golden band, of which she promptly took out to show to Randal, the band was finely crafted with inscriptions on the inside and outside of the band.

Hahah mentioned that she would need Randal to accomplish a continuation task for her. She explained that the gold band was just the beginning of her first but should wouldn’t be able to continue because the last item she Jeff was one that sure has seen a Long time ago but was never able to get on her own. Which was why she takes some of her friends to help her keep a look out for some strapping young lad who would be able to take care of her missing/lack of material problem.

Regal understood from hahah that the only places that these gemstones could be found were in the caves located just outside town near the quarry. Randal covered slightly because the last time he entered dark caves he was almost ganked by giant bats. Nonetheless this was a different cave, though based on what Hannah was telling him about the caves he wasn’t completely sure it would be very different. Just like the last cave he was in, this cave would also serve to impede his vision and make it harder to do anything in that cave.

As such when Randal set off on his quest, he was sure to eat a snack that would boost his chances of survival.

As Randal departed from the centre of town he passed by all the familiar roads and houses that he had passed during the first two missions in this chain quest, he wondered how many more parts there were to be honest.

As Randal continued on his way to the cavern, he continued to recite Hannah’s request in his mind.

Never having been one to treasure a journey to lightly, Randal was as prepared as he will ever be. Soon he looked upon the quarry with its population of miners breaking apart the rocks with their picks, as he approached the miners, he was oddly aware that the miners carried with them an exhausted look that was only natural to Randal as they worked in an incredibly taxing environment, but he would find out that they were exhausted because there were a gang of robbers who somehow got it in their thick heads that there was riches to be found within the mines and this would ask be fine and dandy but they also refuse to ask for permission to use the mine in fear that the owner would force them under the law to share their loot. Randal decided that the only way to put an end to the whole fiasco would be to head down there and claim the treasure for himself or to wait for the bandits.

Randal decided that instead of taking matters into his own hands in the most violent way he knew how, he could try to achieve a semblance of civility and speak to these people.

And so Randal waited, when it came to night fall and only some torches and lights remained lit in the quarry, the boisterous sounds of people making their way over could be heard. Standing at the front of the crowd of mean looking individuals, there seemed to be about 7 of them.

The person at the front was a beautiful woman who seemed to be the leader of the group. As they approached the quarry, Randal stood up and blocked their way. As if a response by nature the men behind the woman immediately unsheathed their weapons. However as if sensing that fighting the man infront off then would be a mistake the woman quickly raised her hand and the violent atmosphere immediately dissipated. Presenting herself before Randal she asked what he wanted.

Regal instructed that the two of them could not coexist, they were both after the sand thing in the mine and he could not go home without it. The lady wrote a look of deep contemplation, he had resting on a large two handed battle axe, she was wondering if her band of seven could take on this person In front of her. Deciding that the bad feeling she was getting should be heeded. She spoke, “why don’t we work together, see we are looking the truth behind the rumours. Have you heard? There was a city of gold somewhere. We’ll split it with you but you’ll only get 1 part of 8.” She said

Randal looked back at the minersah knew that he should send these ruffians away but perhaps there was another way. Randal asked “if I got you into the cavern and promised to help you explore the cave and out by the morning,I want you to go do something other that harass the miner’s at this quarry.”

The lady clicked her tongue she stood thinking before finally agreeing that it was better to get aid in these caverns.

Finally agreeing on What was the next course of action (Which is to explore the caves at night together) Randal readied up all his equipment,

And watched at the bandits did the same. As they were now working together, Randal was about to head into the caves when one of the bandits called him to come over. When he approached, he found out that the bandits were having a strategy meeting, this stunned Randal for a moment but he didn’t want to be awkward so he quickly covered it up by asking “why do you guys need to have a strategy meeting anyway? It’s just cave with some potential loot and some potential monsters. And besides I Could take on just about anything at this point for this floor at least.”

The lady sighed and told Randal that if he wanted them to stop harassing the miners then he should shut up, stop being so arrogant and pay attention to the meeting.

With nothing to say and actually thinking that the meeting would be good for the expedition, Randal kept his mouth shut and sat down paying attention to the man who spoke. This man wore horned rimed glasses and had hooked some potions along his belt and was carrying a book in his left hand and a mace in the right side of his belt. The man spoke aha told the gathering that this meeting was meant for two reasons, the first would be to share information that they had about the cave while the second would be to integrate Randal into the team by discussing the roles within. Randal sat and listening to the strategist’s analysis. Apparently they were aware of the treasure trove via a treasure man that they found while exploring a dungeon. The map showed the general location with a vague and cryptic Instructions about the cave and what to do.

On the other hand of the meeting they discussed Randal’s position in the team as an attacker, they discussed his level and decided that he And the woman would lead the team as the vanguard. It occurred to Randal that there was a possibility that the team would be using him as a sacrificial sheep at the forefront. But considering the situation he was perfectly fine with that. The team was definitely good at strategies but their combat level was beneath Randal’s concern.
After all was said and done, the team agreed to meet the next night as this one was nearing an end already. Randal learned that according to the treasure Map that the bandits had received they were also expecting to fight a guardian of the treasure, however as they never really knew if they had the firepower to deal with such a threat they had been procrastinating for quite some time, and was just about to enter the cave before they met Randal.

Another thing that occurred to Randal was that although the bandits were very rough and coarse they carried themselves with a certain level of civility that Randal had not expected. Anyway at the dawn of a new day Randal decided to look around the spooky cavern while the miners were still inside to get glimpses of what would be ahead. As kerosene Lamps hung from the foundation pillars and lit the way Randal came across a large area where the racks split into two, as he asked nearby miners for the details, he learned that the right side which still remained lit was the main area where the miners would go to harvest the ores  and metals. On the contrast, the left side was pitch black, the miners had informed their boss that they were not willing to dig that way or in that direction because to many people had passed away trying to harvest from there.

This would be because every time  a miner attempted to venture into the cave to find someone who had gone missing in the past, they always come back mumbling some jewel embedded in the walls, and considering that such spooky business was of no good to the profit of the mine the boss had unilaterally decided to cordon off the area in case any other miners decided to venture down there themselves to see the truth behind the stories. This coupled with the treasure map that the group of seven held with their party made the story seem like more than just a story she that it too could actually be true.
Before long it hit sunset again and dish was setting in, as the group of bandits returned again they were all ready to head into the pitch black cavern. With little more to do outside, Randal and the lady with the 2-Handle battle axe lead the way onwards.

As they approached the interior of the cave under the cover of the dark, prior to this Randal already informed the miners of the Plan so they all cooperated and evacuated the tunnels in case something untoward were to happen like a complete collapse of cave integrity. Holding up the front were Randal and the woman with the other six men bringing up the rear.
As the descended further into the cave and reached the split in the tunnels, they decided to venture forward left into the pitch black darkness.
The light became far less present and the torches that the bandits brought became far less useful managing only to illuminate slightly ahead of themselves.
A cold wind blew through the cavern but after walking for some time the group hit a dead end. They took a moment to backtrack but to no avail as they were sure that they had not missed any other openings.

That’s when Randal had a brilliant idea, which he stole from a movie but the logic was sound, if there was a cold wind blowing through the caves then there must be some form of ventilation which can only exist in caves if there was more than one entrance, which also meant that the dead end was a false wall and that there was an opening somewhere in the wall.
When they had returned to the dead end, they were quick to locate the source of the wind which was a small crack in the wall, taking it into their heads that the treasure hasn’t been found by the miners must have been due to the wall but not actually contemplating the logic behind their thoughts, one of the bandits picked up their mace and swung at the wall. The moment they hit the wall however, a loud shriek filled the cavern.

The shriek rattled everyone in the group as they were not expecting such a terrifying creature to be contained within the cave. Looking around, the bandits were about split even down the middle whether to flee or to carry forward, the woman still the deciding factor, quickly decided to let those who were afraid leave, at the same time reminding them what they were all here for in the first place.
Apparently they all come from fairly impoverished backgrounds and became explorers of the unknown by distorting more dungeons around the land. This was where Randal first learned of their name <<The Hawks>>. Now clear that they weren’t just random players with questionable ethics, they were NPC’s following a routine and were carrying out a quest of their own. With her rousing speech she convinced majority of them to stay with only the strategist clearing claiming that he would follow but not participate. He accepted that he would get a lesser cut.

Upon the discussion ending, Randal repeatedly punched the wall to the sound of the creature within shrieking, after the second punch he made a hole large enough to fit a single person but for safe measure he punched again and opened it up some more.
Leading the charge the woman entered first with her weapon’s drawn to the ready. The first thing that hit everyone was that the interior smelled like blood and the walls were glittering, upon closer inspection the walls were swallowing up the gold. At the Center of the room was a single beautiful gemstone. Deciding that this was the item that Hannah would need, Randal reached out to take it, the moment his hand reached for it, it sunk into its pedestal. A medium sized stone golem stepped out from the wall and shrieked at the group.

The whole ordeal was over as fast as it started when the cave guardian came out the bandits were ask to stunned to move and based on the overall impression that the guardian gave off, any attack from it would probably feel like a mountain slamming into you. Fortunately Randal recited unprecedentedly fast, maybe all the shrieking has already prepared Randal for the possibility that the monster would attack them but he reacted as fast as lightning, the speed at which he moved was reminiscent of a Kung Fu movie by Jackie Chan or Jet Li.
When Randal karate chopped off the cave guardians head all the shrieking stopped and a decent amount of items and gold flowed out from the walls as though the power that was holding it there was absent.
The party of bandits were only stunned for a moment before rejoicing. They weren’t chasing a fake treasure after all, Randal was also pleased that he had been able to help the miners discover what happened to those that went missing.

It was clear that they had been blinded by the stories of potential wealth when they ventured to deep and too far into the unexplored cavern. They must have been lured in by the cave guardian only to be murdered. Bring it the earth element it was also apparent that the Monster was using it’s powers to control the entrance deciding who and when to let in.
Now that the beat is slain, the miners can finally carry in their mining processes. This would be something that the boss of the quarry would also be happy about as they can finally resume mining and even expand their current level of operations.
Now that there was nothing stopping Randal and the bandits from the items, each and every one of them took their fair share of the loot. Randal collected the best looking gemstone he could find and picked up a ring engraved with a single eye, it was a little gothic for his tastes but it works.

Randal promptly began to head back to the town of beginners to find Hannah with her requested jewel and Randal’s new ring. Randal thought back to the lives of the bandits and how they might have lost their lives due their greed, or perhaps they knew that they would be safe when they realised that they were traveling with a player at Randal’s level. Randal also noticed that and started wondering how many players were like him at the moment, a significantly higher level then they’re supposed to be to secure themselves and Ensure that they did not accidentally lose their lives in an unfortunate accident or careless mistake.
Randal remembered that each of the members of the bandits party were people from impoverished backgrounds and if Randal had decided not to help them, or in fact, stand in their way, all of them would no longer be alive or happy. It goes to show just what an important role the woman had within their group.

Before Randal entered town, like right before, he spotted a wild vanilla plant just casually growing and so he bounded over to pick it before Randal finally returned to the town of beginners, he made sure to stock his belly up with some food before heading to the groove of trees. Heading down to the nearby inn or any food establishment was something of a rare occurrence to say the least as ever since Randal got a cooking shop of his own, he had been making his own meals everyday. So having the chance to sit down and enjoy a fine meal prepared by someone else really encouraged Randal.
Afterwards he changed into some commoners clothing and allowed the tanner to receive his light armour and maintain it for Randal, after all he has been neglecting the equipment for the last few missions all.
Immediately after all the chores were completed or submitted for request, Randal headed down to find Hannah to help her craft her item and to enjoy nature just a little bit.

Upon reaching Hannah, Randal carefully brought out the jewel which was a sparkling translucent orb, when Randal had retrieved the orb from cave it was the size of a thumb, unfortunately Hannah was making ring for a normal sized human and not some irregularly proportioned giant. This was unfortunate because neither of them could make the Jewel shrink in size which meant that Hannah would have to grind down the jewel and re-polish it. This was going to be arduous work but Hannah was simply happy that she could final carry on with the item she had been trying to make for quite some time now.
However before she could get to it, she handed a package to Randal, who was already expecting a package to deliver. This time it was a package for a fisherman named Ol’Pete out by the lakeside. Without waiting to long for Hannah, Randal and the rest of his spoils headed for the lake.
