His father was a Japanese politician and while his mother was a doctor, with big ambitions towards their first and only son. However, they put a lot of pressure on Raichi. But that wouldn't do him too well as he was almost naturally a slacker, with all his goals towards enjoying life than actually conquering it. They tried to force him to undergo more intensive lessons with his education and hobbies and they pretty much found he was a dud. It got to a point that as he got older, he would rebel more and more, to let them know that he didn't care about what they told him. As he neared his 13th birthday, his parents had gotten fed up and adopted a boy who had recently been orphaned at age 10. He was supposedly a genius and they hoped to make this one the one to hold together their family legacy. As the next three years went by, Raichi slinked back further and further in the eyes of his parents, as their new adoptive son, Thomas showed how much better he was. Raichi tried multiple times to connect with Thomas, but his parents, or more likely their nannies would step in. They didn't want any of Raichi's tendencies to rub off in their better son. Raichi tried harder and harder to act out and hang with him, as that was the opposite of what was wanted from his parents. He didn't want to let his folks win. And he found himself leaning towards gaming as a fun escape, leaning towards the possibility of Full Dive technology. And he used his parent's money to purchase the game and plugged in, only to be trapped in a death game. He spent the first two years in Aincrad not really showing any care towards anything around and relaxed. But after enough time, he decided to go out and make a name for himself. - Personality: Raichi is a rebel with a perverted streak. He keeps a light upbeat attitude and in the same right, he makes sure to always enjoy life the way he wishes too. He doesn't care much for the laws of the world around him or others and prefers to follow his own moral code. Killing is bad, but he still wishes to make himself strong and popular. He loves the ladies and is pretty prone to his own nosebleeds when seeing a pretty girl. He's hit on a girl and finds himself with little success. However, he will jump into action with any event that he feels he needs to step in, with a smart-ass attitude and a grin on his face. He sees women as something to be protected at all costs and shows much hate towards corruption. Virtues: Authentic - Raichi doesn't need to lie to people about who he is. He doesn't seem to care about what people think of him and he doesn't hide his intentions or goals. He acts out, but in the same way, he acts like himself. He won't bow to anyone or change how he acts for other people. Courageous - Raichi will jump into battle if he sees it is the best thing to do. He acts on instinct and allows his morals to guide him. He sticks to what he thinks is right. He'll show no fear in the face of adversity and he'll keep on pushing, risking everything to do what he needs to. Enthusiastic - Raichi is an upbeat guy through and through. He'll burst out laughing to anything he finds is funny and despite being stuck within a death game, he finds time to enjoy his time. He'll crack jokes in a fight, making lame puns that only he really finds funny at any point, making him a ticking time bomb in that regard. Kind - Despite how he acts with most pretty girls he sees, he's still a good guy. He's willing to help anyone if they aren't an asshole, even if it's a massive pain for him. This could be partying with someone on a quest so they can get an item they want or helping someone carry stuff. He cares for other people and how they're feeling and shows genuine worry when people get hurt. He's overly willing to fight for other people if needed. Optimistic - He looks on the bright side, as much as possible. He isn't prone to ignore things when there is a much lighter note to think of. The dark and dreary is super lame, and he much prefers to keep a happy composure. It helps him deal with everything once life gets rough and he needs to face tough stuff. Loyal - Once someone puts Raichi in a position to gain his faith, he'll follow them completely. While he is able to think for himself, he'll keep those people in his heart and be willing to help as much as he can. He couldn't ever think of leaving them behind or betraying them. Trustworthy - Once someone gains his faith, he won't lie to them. He hates trickery in general and prefers to deal with a problem head-on. He doesn't like using deception and will work his best despite the odds. He will work well with others and gives them no reasons to lie. He doesn't ever hide his motives and will make sure to tell someone anything they wanna know. Flaws: Bold - Raichi is pretty against being told what to do by people who have authority over him. He'll talk back, and get snappy, resorting to dumb quips and jabs. If anyone tries to show power over him and actively wishes for him to follow them without his respect. He'll talk [censored] about them, smirk and he will push back even more. He's always been cheeky to teachers, adults or any other authority figures in his life. Childish - Raichi isn't the most mature fellow in the world. Despite being legally a grown man, he acts still almost like a freshman in high school. He'll make stupid jokes, and shows no fear to resort to potty humor. He's easy to make laugh and often goes googly-eyed over pretty girls. He's easy to trick too and enjoys getting into a playful amount of trouble with childish pranks. Fool's Love - Raichi finds it quite easy to fall in love with a female. And by love, it's lust. He'll be practically drooling if a girl makes any interest in him. He is almost a simp involving any pretty girls. It's to where he is easily considered a pervert. Gullible - Being an idiot, does have some weaknesses. He's way more likely to believe a trust a pretty girl if he thinks she's a good person. Almost like a puppy dog following along on her. Idiotic - Despite him being a massive dork, he isn't the smartest fellow in the world. He's a bit impulsive and lacks a lot of more complex knowledge. Plus, he finds himself having a pretty hard time concentrating when needing to learn or even focus on a task that he considers as a bit boring. Lewd - Is that girl wearing a swimsuit? Sploosh, his nose is bleeding. While he is kinda a simp, he finds himself quick to fantasize about pretty girls. Almost to where the point where impressing a pretty girl might be his main purpose behind his actions. Rebellious - If someone who tries to hold power over him tells him what to do, there is a huge chance he won't respond in a positive manner. Sure, if that person had gained his respect in Raichi's eys, he will, but it is hard to receive. But other than that, he pretty much acts out to do whatever he pleases, and unless his life depends on it, he'll pretty much do the opposite of what he was told. Reckless - His fighting style is pretty risky, and while he sticks to his gut in a fight, he can openly risk getting hurt. His fighting style, as it's simplest is a DPS based fighter, focusing on hitting hard with a strong offense and letting defense hit the backseat. ANd that matches pretty much how he acts in his normal day to day life, ready to take huge risks. Because of this, he loves gambling. Stubborn - What? Giving up? That's super lame, too lame beyond belief to Raichi. When he sets his mind on something he isn't smart enough to give up, whether it being an argument or a fight, he won't stop unless he needs to live. This ties in with a lot of his own beliefs, with him sticking by his initial beliefs on people unless there is a shocking revelation to shift them. He won't really let others shift his opinions easily.
