Macradon had heard about the newest event going on, an Easter event coupled with an April Fools event … it was a bit too good to believe. He didn’t think much of it and just did it for the laughs if anything were to happen with it. He would look at the information given by the egg boys, a trio of three doubtful characters, just like the Bath Bois were, so as a kindred spirit, Macradon would venture out to find as many eggs as he could in this short amount of time. He would have his armor equipped as well as taking in as many consumables as he possibly could for this endearing mission to scavenge through everything to get as many eggs as he can, one after the other he chomped down on the consumables, eating them up, drinking them up, filling his body with buffs as a Skyrim player making sure he would survive the oncoming hit.

Time has come for him to go egg hunting, which was weird. All the other Easter and April Fools events had been some weird boss fights with good loot, but this time it was much more different, a much wider event that spread out across multiple days with large tests to show everyone how great one were at gathering and finding eggs, it was quite the fun concept to explore, since it was very new to Macradon. He would approach the 21st floor’s caverns, he had been here before, he had tried to look for raid boss rooms here before, it was somewhat different from back then, he was very different from back then, he can’t even remember what it was like back then, it just felt that long ago. He sighed and threw up his orange hood and began to walk around the rocky terrain as silently he could with Belphegor in tow.

He had been in this area before, it was like a garden of stalagmites and stalactites, littered with crystals and other minerals. Everything around here was scattered in abundance, it was quite the sight to be in. Recently he had heard about a few types of new monsters appearing in this area, feasting upon the mold of the caverns, a deer type .. golem? That was his prey for today, stone deer thingys. He walked slowly, like the last time he went hunting with Mari, each step he would take carefully not to show his presence by sound as his heavy armor slowed him down just slightly. Not long after he found the group of deer, 3 doe and a single crowned deer, all covered in what seemed like stone and rock, like armor or as if it was what their body was made of. Gemstones were adorned all around their bodies. Macradon did not hesitate and rushed in while unseen, and with a heavy blow cleaved down into the deer with his holy light, dealing a heavy impact to the lot.

Retaliation came in heavy, he hit three of the four and got hit back by two of them, taking a huge blow to his health compared to what he was used to. “Damn, they do a lot of damage now that they’re scaled to my level … guess that having a high level doesn’t always equate something fortunate …” he thought, and after quickly looking at their health, he realized that his huge damage also didn’t have as much of an impact as he had hoped. Macradon would throw another Calamity Disaster at the deer and cleave them with his holy light again, killing one in the process but also getting hit by two of the remaining deer, staggering him with their hooves and antlers. His frost thorns moved up by the contact points and shattered some of the rocks, freezing it instantly and dealing a small amount of chip damage to them.

With every sword art Macradon executed, his holy light shined its bright orange as the sword art activated, but then quickly switched to a blinding white light as his holy sword enhanced his attacks. He had finally gotten the majority down to a reasonable amount of health, one in the lower yellow and one in the red while the last one was still in its green health, slightly above the yellow zone. Macradon gripped his sword and clenched it hard as another streak of white would illuminate the cave with its holy presence, cleaving once again into the deer and taking down two in the process, one of the doe and the deer with the large antlers. The last remaining was a doe in its higher yellow zone, hopefully one he would be able to take out with one last fell swoop, but he doubted it, perhaps it was just out of his range.

He rushed in with his sword and instead of cleaving into the beast with multiple cleaves like his Calamity Disaster, Macradon charged in with an upwards diagonal strike with his Galaxy Destroyer sword art. His blade slit through the rocky torso of the doe, making it squeal in virtual pain while staggering backwards away from Macradon. He looked at its health, but unfortunately he was just out of its range to take it out. He grit his teeth and watched the frost effect wear off, leaving it at a very low amount of health, he wasn’t sure how much it was, but a single strike from Macradon would surely be the end of the beast. He would get into a guard again and wait for a final opening. His sword was raised high at head level and point angled down towards the heart of the beast, ready to strike whenever.

The two were locked in on a stare down, Macradon vs the Rocky Doe. The two stand still and just observe the other, not moving any muscle. The two were entirely stationary and just waited for an opening to happen, they did so for a few seconds before Macradon got impatient and began to move. The doe panicked and reared up on its hind leg and kicked with its front legs. Macradon pushed himself forward while angling his guard to a lower guard by his hips with his point still angled towards the beast’s heart. With a quick and heavy step, Macradon pounded his body weight down towards the ground and then redirected the force into a thrust. He stayed out of the reach of the doe’s hooves and pierced it with his sword, easily thrusting into it with holy light splintering the beast into nothing as the battlefield got empty.

After the first battle, Macradon went into stealth once again, he wanted to get as much out of this time as he possibly could by farming all these monsters, for his Col gain and his Egg harvesting. Going down low, arching his back forward as he tried to hide behind natural structures of the rocky cave, Macradon tried to tread lightly, but his steps were a bit too obvious, they could be heard, even through the natural sounds of the cave, his unnatural movements were sticking out like a sore thumb. He grit his teeth and tried to think of a better way of approaching this stealth dilemma. The cave’s walls were angled in such a way that any sound he would emit would be amplified and bounced around the cave, not really making hiding a success in his book at all. He thought about it for a while and brought out his Knight’s Clothes jacket and a bathrobe from his inventory.

He tied the jacket and the bathrobe around his sabatons so he would be able to walk around and make less sound with every step he took. The sound was dampened slightly from this, and it made his stealthing much more viable than it was when he waddled around like a duck with microphones taped to its legs plugged to amplifiers set on high. The knight was now capable of walking hidden at a reasonable pace in the caves, he didn’t make too much noise, and the noise he did make was somewhat deafened by the sounds of the stream running through. He wasn’t at the speed of a dash, hell he wasn’t at the speed of normal walking, but he was still capable of traversing through the rough terrain at a decent pace for someone trying to stay hidden from his enemies. He would look for another group of deer, someone he could fight just to make this Eater Egg hunting a bit more exciting than humanoids.

Despite walking slower because of his stealthed condition, Macradon still managed to find a wandering flock of deer, this time not accompanied by any big antlered deer, only a small pack of doe. He would not waste any minute for any possible back up to arrive for the deer so Macradon rushed in from his hiding spot with his <Charge> and headed right into the fray against the deer. With a quick sweep, Macradon was unfortunately unable to get a proper hit onto more than just two of the deer, and they quickly retaliated after his sudden appearance in front of them. Quickly deflecting as much as possible, Macradon slipped one through and got hit by the hooves, striking onto him with ferocity. The hit didn’t hurt that much, dealing a small amount of damage while his frost thorns rushed up the hooves, freezing onto the deer and dealing a tad of damage to it.

With only two deer hit initially, it ticked Macradon a bit off, but it was something he had anticipated when using his Charge to gain a good boost of damage. He shook his shoulders a bit to get them all lubed up with bone juice and got ready for another attack. He had only taken a small amount of damage from these rocky deer which didn’t discourage him at all, moreover it drove him in this fight, he felt feedback, it wasn’t just yelling at a wall, it was like yelling and a pendulum going straight towards your noggin. With a swift movement, Macradon cleaved six times into all four of the deer, bringing the two who had initially been hit by his charge down into the yellow zone while the two others were left dangling just above it. Two of the deer would go in to attack the knight in armor and would feel the freezing wrath like the first one.

Taking the two hits in retaliation hurt in the short run, but in the long run his Battle Healing would get the best of him and let him fight on without fearing death like so. With a heavy starting hew, Macradon struck into three of the deer with his heavy sword and dealt a critical blow with his holy sword, dragging down one of the deer, 2 in the yellow zone and the last one in the red zone. Upon him came retaliation once again, dealing somewhat the same amount of damage as the last hit that got to him, but that also meant that his freezing thorns would do their job and do chip damage to the great rocky danger deer. As it stood right now, if he landed a  critical hit again, he should be able to take out the remaining three with one last fell swoop straight to their bodies.

Unfortunately things really never go as planned, instead of hitting all three and taking them all out, all he accomplished was hitting two of them and only taking out a single of them. Not as efficient as he planned, nor was it as efficient as it possibly could have been done, but he had to work with what he was given, which right now wasn’t that great of a situation. His <Calamity Disaster> sword art cleaved six times, which was only enough to kill off one deer, but luckily enough his sword art left out enough room to act as a wall to keep the deer away from approaching him and attacking, he fended them off quite easily with his heavy strokes that could become dangerous strikes but instead just made the deer keep their distance to the knight with the big sword, which was a wise decision from the AI’s point of view.

With two enemies left on the battlefield, Macradon would need to think of a way to take them out, a single swipe using his <Calamity Disaster> should be enough to just wipe them away from the battle, but it’s never easy to “just” do the plan without anything not going as planned. He grit his teeth and looked at the two remaining deer. The first would rear up on its hind legs and begin its charge, Macradon would have to take advantage of this or lose too much ground to them. He rushed by it to stand besides it and unleashed his sword art, unfortunately his distancing wasn’t perfect and he absolutely missed the other remaining deer, but once again his wide and ferocious strokes kept the beast at bay, giving him another safe turn without damage, letting his battle healing make sure he was healthy for the oncoming fights he were to witness.

With the last doe standing in front of him, Macradon did not hesitate to end the battle and rushed in with his three hit sword art <Scooped>. With three fell uppercuts to the rocky deer, Macradon took it out of its misery and collected the collective loot he had acquired from the small party of four doe, only for him to then quickly Vanish out of sight after his kill. While hidden once again, Macradon would try to find a place to ambush another set of victims of his blade’s edge. Walking around the empty cavern was nerve wracking, it wasn’t a pleasant feeling walking in dim light alone, isolated by rocks from every direction, from everywhere. He walked around uneasy, but still with scarf and jacket wrapped around his sabatons, trying to stay as silent as he could with every step colliding with the stone floor, metal against rock.

 After vanishing from the last kill, Macradon quickly went for the next attack, he stalked the area for new victims of his butchering and not long after found another small group of rocky deer, still covered in rocks and crystals. This group didn’t have any big leader, it was just a small pack of four doe. He drew his sword and from the shadows leapt into battle with his Charge and <Calamity Disaster>. A quick sweep would initiate his sword art as the blade shined its orange light, illuminating the area as his body was guided by the Cardinal system, cleaving 6 times into the doe, though only three of them. The last doe was kept out of range with the ferocious swings of Macradon, his broad blade slicing through both the stone of the deer and leaving deep carved markings into the ground, keeping the doe from entering his range.

Another quick activation of his sword art would send him at the deer once again. Belphegor his familiar would jump up at them and pin down three of the deer for Macradon to cleave into them with his <Calamity Disaster> once again, getting three of them hit with his greatsword swing. He damaged two of them enough to bring them into the yellow zone, over half of their health already taken out. Though his alpha strike was strong enough to keep the deer at bay, this close quarters fight didn’t seem to bother them as much. Two of the deer tackled and kicked Macradon with their hooves and bodies, dealing small amounts of damage to the knight while his frosty armor would surge up the deer and freeze their rocky bodies, flash freezing parts of them off while frosty patches remained on their bodies, slowly doing frost damage over time.

With another hefty swing with his blade, Macradon’s sword started out its bright orange light, but before he landed his blows on the deer, his blade began its bright white holy light as he cleaved through the deer with such finesse like a warm sword through room temperature butter, which means very very easily. He took out two of the deer with his AOE attack while also bringing the rest to the yellow zone, ready to be taken out with one last push. One of the remaining deer retaliated with its hooves, kicking at the steel plating of the knight. The blunt force was annoying as the feedback from each hit would be felt through the armor. Instead of moaning for complain, Macradon would let his armor do the talking as the frosty patches traversed up the rocky deer and froze onto their exterior, dealing a tad bit of damage to them.

He now stood in front of two solidary doe, they could not escape as this predator would hunt, they could not fight as this predator would quickly retaliate upon them. The doe were in a stalemate they were gonna lose if they moved a muscle … if that rocky beast had any muscles so to speak. A small lift of the hoof alerted Macradon to angle his blade just a smidge to scare the doe of his presence, he waited for a proper opening before rushing in, but as they stood there, just staring at each other, Macradon took the initiative and charge straight into the with his broad blade, cleaving through them six times with wide angular sweeps, with each attack Macradon made sure to do as much damage as he could with the force enhanced by his skill with the blade. Not only was his attack straight forward, his blade shined its bright holy light and eradicated the doe once and for all.

Macradon sheathed his sword again after the battle with the doe, and he had some kind of feeling that he wouldn’t be finding any more deer in this area of the lushious cave. He sighed as he thought of what to do now, fishing. He wasn’t too fond of the idea, as last time he went fishing it was a very drawn out process, and even if he enjoyed Mari’s company, it was still not very pleasant to sit down on the rocky ground for a prolonged amount of time, he should’ve brought a chair for this event … but instead he taught himself how to fish. He would shake his head and find the nearest body of water he could fish in. He didn’t have to walk for long before he found what seemed like a large pond, perhaps he could find something here. Casting out his line, Macradon quickly felt something pulling at the other side, quickly reeling in the line again, Macradon had acquired a good amount of materials and chocolate eggs.
