An arm raised to wipe the sweat from his brow and he sheathed his blade now. Clapping his hands, he was definitely satisfied with the results of all that labor. “That’s enough for today.” He grumbled and pushed the door open. Heavy steps brought him to the room he rented and he began to take off his equipment while preparing to relax. Once it was all off and discarded to a corner he flopped onto the bed. Reclined back with his hands behind his head he looked up at the ceiling. For once in a long time he felt at peace. Though he wasn’t sure why. An air of excitement seemed to envelope him. Even as he eventually drifted off to sleep. Whatever mysteries the future held, he would be ready for them.
