It's not like she'd had any success so far. But it definitely helped to be prepared for the scenario, right? In the worst case scenario, she'd be tossing away a couple handfuls of col. The best? She'd find a trove full of dungeons and earn some SP for her time. The lookout helped to kill time, too. And in both cases, the merchant would profit from the experience gain from her purchases.

So really, this wasn't an unnecessary expense at all.

NIGHT set a pouchful on the counter, before inquiring about the maps' availability. She hadn't seen them the last time she came in, but sure enough, the merchant had them. The situation was an easy take-and-go.

Two fingers rasped gently on the side of the temple's entrance. No response came, but she could tell from the merchant present that the establishment was still open for business.

The alchemist was back at it again with yet another truck load of a delivery to make. Her lips had been pulled up into a big grin -- though it never bothered the merchant one bit. Oh well, Bistro figured, wondering if she would ever get a name. "Another junk-sale, if you'd please."

And what was unleashed afterwards was yet another sudden quake rocking the building, as crates full of potions began to flood the room once again.

Fox looked upon the mass amount of crates that now flooded her tiny shrine's empty space. It was hard to see that she was annoyed through her mask, but this alchemist was giving her business to level up her craft, so it was difficult to complain about her coming every week or so to drop these things off. "Do you ever stop crafting?" She asked thinking about how much four-eyes loves doing this stupid shit. This was the entire reason that she became a merchant.

"Alright, I don't mind doing it for you. But I take a cut of the Col." She mentioned as she got to work.

'Three spyglasses were more than enough,' she'd told herself the last time she'd left the store.

She was wrong.

NIGHT was back early with a grievance; for some reason, nine charges had meant nearly nothing to her when her group's adventures took her everywhere, all the time. With another, larger sack of col rested on the counter top she drummed her fingers upon the wood as she scrounged around for a decent number of items to buy. After a moment, she made up her mind.

"Just blow it all on spyglasses."

The player walked away that day in self-satisfaction.

Alkor scratched his head as he went through the list of items he'd need for the familiar quest. It sounded like a whole lot more than a single quest really should have required, but a familiar apparently had a lot of value for Players. 

He entered the shop on the 22nd floor with a thoughtful expression and browsed the wares until he found what he was looking for. A Spyglass. 

"Alright," he pumped his fist. "That takes care of that."

He went to the counter and made the payment in exchange for a Spyglass. 

Spyglass = 800 col

A weird course of events had occurred, weird armor had been identified at Simonne’s merchant shop, so now it was time to give up some he had in his inventory. Approached by the aspiring frontliner tank, Macradon had made up a deal with the pinkette, they were to meet at this girl’s shop to take care of some armor ordeal, specifically the Halloween Heavy Armor he had received from just being cool and shotgunning 15 energy drinks, or something along those lines. As he looked at his surroundings he sighed “Another Japanese style shop on the 22nd floor, I don’t know why it surprises me anymore.” he mumbled for himself before entering. “Uhh, hey, I was supposed to meet Yuki here, we have some armor we need rerolled.” he said and took out his Jack’s Flaming Plate from his inventory.

Yuki arrived shortly after Macradon, still wondering how he was able to get here before him when the location she was heading was literally no more than a fifteen minute walk away from her own home. "Oi, Mac! Thank you for coming!" The girl said, putting the reroll ticket on the counter of for the masked girl. "Don't really need to get me anything amazing, just need to remove the cursed off this item so that it can be transferred."

"Yeah, whatever, let me see it." Megistune's muffled voice came from behind the porcelain mask as she inspected the item at hand. Unique with a wonderful looking bundle of enhancements that the paladin had shown up looking for before. Nice to see that she was getting along okay. "This should only take a second."

"Looks like your cursed is now taunt." The fox says, after applying the reroll ticket to the item and handing it over to the pinkette. "I imagine this is for you sinc eyou have the reroll ticket. Come again if you need anything else." And the yokai goes back to her own devices.

So, so many. Was she perhaps here earlier during her junk-sale rotation, too? The clutter was starting to become unbearable, after Bistro had thrown out her old lots time and time again, and the free space in her workshop was more than welcome.

Also, she'd finally managed to enjoy some peace and quiet in the citrus room, instead of having it piled wall-to-wall with crates of potions. Watching the streets of the Town of Beginnings while she worked was a nice change of pace.

With her new found pleasures of Aincrad in tow, she'd set her concoction abominations piled high once again down on the mats of the temple. Bistro's head peeked out from a stack of boxes as she materialized yet another bag from a client she'd met up with earlier during the week. "The usual. You know the drill by now~"

Ruler walked into the peculiar shop. It looked much more like a place for Japanese worship than buying wares but from what she knew, this player was apart of her guild and it would be best to get to know her anyway. She walked up to the counter and sighed, opening her menu and looking for the items in questioned. After getting the skill refund, she knew that she would be going into the two-handed spear skill, so since the item was lucky enough to be one, she figured if it was decent enough, she could simply use it until she got a hold of a better item.

"I just need these identified please. Thank you."

Only one more item for her to get ahold of and she would be ready to get a familiar. If only these stupid things were easier to get a hold of, she would just walk out into the field and grab one. It would be easy, but this quest she had heard could be rather annoying to do. She wasn't willing to waste time on annoyances.

"I just need a spyglass." She said to the masked woman behind the counter, who complied quickly at her request. Within a moment, she had a spyglass ready for Shay and made a trade offer for the col that she had spent to get the item. Shay promptly transferred it and made on her way.

Funny. She would've thought the Tanabata celebration to bring her some peace of mind when it came to disposing of her crafts. Though that mantle had been passed off to one of her aides, this left Bistro with only the option to carry on creating concoctions for the masses.

Or, y'know, just stock up her shelves for the time being. They had never looked so full before. It felt nice being on top of everything for a change. She could scarce remember the days when she'd line an entire display full of vials only to have them missing come the next eve.

Boxes ticked in her inventory. Multiple items spawned in. As if to cue in her merchant, who most likely had begun to expect her arrival, she hummed an announcement before stepping to the side, leaving the floor open for them.

-- Funny. And she was here to be charitable, even more so than Bistro was. Aincrad needed its fair share of merchants, you see, and on her last stop here she did wonder if Firm Anima was getting by on just one of its top actors rather than having more of them.

Not that she knew of any more members of the group aside from Raidou and the hunter she'd met on that one snake outing, of course. Look, whatever, details were details.

She'd have given the alchemist a curt nod had it not been for the mountains of vials set up at the temple's front door. At its clearance, NIGHT expelled a grave sigh, and set down a small pouch of col on the table.

"Tier 1 Maps. Give me as many as this bag would fill up, please."

Dead fish eyes and a flat voice. "Ah," the player obliviously began, "wait a minute, I can't use these because Tier 1 maps don't seem to mean anything to me these days. Could you take them back and sell them to the system?"

She'd dropped the items on the counter, not even caring to see if the merchant would take her up on the offer. Hands in her pockets, she'd left just as quickly as she'd came, rushed pace mostly to catch up with Bistro.

Only to scold her for the large volume of 'failed crafts' she'd burdened the other player with.

Damn, what a hypocrite.
