Bits of fluff were flying around as she carved out a mongoose sized niche in the wool lining, followed by a rather abrupt and metallic *clunk*. She stood in the middle of the box, looking perplexed. It was not an expression of hers that Freyd was used to seeing. He nodded to her, urging her to step out so that he could take a closer look. Removing the rest of the wool revealed a false bottom. As thrilled as he was that Persi's intuition had once again paid off, Freyd couldn't help but be skeptical. If this package had indeed come from Billy, it could very easily be rigged with any manner of unpleasantness. "Get back," he warned, placing as much of the lining as he could between himself and the crate as he sough purchase with his improvised crowbar. "What do you have in store now, Billy?" Removing the false bottom revealed a small collection of coin, assorted materials and a pair of consumables Freyd was eager to identify. There was also another note: "Just a little something to help you get started. Keep pushing against the odds, and good luck. - BtK" The kid was a total ass, but somehow also a heart of gold. Freyd immediately checked every piece for tracking devices, bugs, booby traps or anything that might otherwise conceal some hint of mischief. He really did like the guy, but he didn't trust him in the slightest. Once he was convinced that there was no true danger, Freyd found a way to get the crate into the Liminal Blind. It took a winch, several pulleys and a lot of elbow grease, but he finally managed it. It became Persi's long overdue reward - her own bed, complete with painted desert motifs and a couple of very familiar looking dead snakes.
