[F21-PP] Fishing Trip! {Natures Treasure}

Sam wakes in her new home. It was warm inside the housing structure and pretty bland as she has not furnished the place yet. She knew that she would soon get that far though so she goes to her kitchen and pours a cup of water in a glass. Trying to think of what she wanted to do today, she remembers that she had gotten a new skill that she wanted to try out. Sam sisn't want to go about it by herself though so she sets her cut down and opens her HUD sending a guild message saying :

I am doing some fishing today. Meet me on floor 21 if you want to come with me and fish.

Sam takes another drink of her water and closes out her HUD before gathering her things that were spread out all around her house. Sam goes back to the kitchen and pours the rest of the water out and rinses her cut. She walks out of her house and locks her door before she decides to grab a few things from the guildhall before she left. After doing this she eats what would be her breakfast and looks at the time as it was around noon. With no replies, she heads to floor 21 thinking that she would do it alone if she had to. Arriving on floor 21 she decides to wait just a bit longer for someone to come meet her.

Haine's sleep schedule was recently brought to life. She often woke up late, however her recent involvement with the guild made it impractical to have such luxuries. Most requests came early in the morning now. Instead of waking up near noon time, she was up earlier. She had come home after completing errands with Kiluia that day. She collapsed onto the couch, belly first, sorting through her inventory. It was a hot mess with all these new additions. That wouldn't do. The woman shook her head and sorted the items into categories. She withdrew an apple from her inventory and was about to snack until a message from her inventory popped up. Fishing? Haine sat up. She had an excuse to lay down her spear for a fishing rod, for the day.

She padded down the hall to Kiluia near the corridor. "Love, did you get the message? You're coming with, we'll need some help." It wasn't as much a question as it was a declaration or demand. She swiped through her HUD and swapped the apples for some Palmiers, in light of the change of plans. She'd need some extra luck on her side. Haine hummed and waited for the other before she crushed her teleport crystal.

Once they reached the rendezvous point, Haine peered, in search of her guild member Sam. She could not forget the girl, with her infectious energy and her trademark red beanie. Beyond that frightful night in the misty forest, she didn't interact with her as much. She walked up to the brunette and settled onto the bench beside her. "Yo, it's me, your knight in shining armor!" the bluenette jested. Both of them knew she was screaming along with Sam, none the wiser.

A new message had arrived from the guild. He was just about to open the message before the declaration had been made from his lover." Yep. Just got it." It had to be the same message she was referring to. He was gathering his shoes together before Pingu took off with his one shoe. She was having cabin fever being locked up in the house." Okay! Okay! Give me the shoe.. you can come with me. "He sighed as he snatched his shoe from her mouth. He laced them up and shuffled the penguin out to leave.Amber eyes looked at Haine as she was swift to leave the house today.

The coorinates were relatively easy to locate. He would find himself traveling with Haine and Pingu for the time being as he gathered his bearings. Amber eyes blinked slightly at the sight of a guild member he was not introduced yet. He gave a slight wave to Sam before getting headbutted in the gut by Pingu. She was running around happy to be free. The flightless bird came to a halt as it bouced off the mans stomach. Realizing she had done something wrong, she dashed away to hide behind Haine taking refuge from any incurred anger. That's cheating, Pingu. He thought as he watched her use Haine knowing full well she could get away with it. "Heyo. I'm Kil. Captian of Operations and Intel.." He gave a slight wave.

Sam sees the female she met in the forest the other night announce herself and knowing what she knew from that night she can't help but laugh. Watching the other unfamiliar face show up right after her...a penguin jumps hard off the guy's stomach. Sam cringes at the sight and watches it hide behind Haine. "Nice to see you again and you..." she says as she glances at Kiluia, looking him up and down. With his white hair and tall stature...Hmmm, she thinks with an eyebrow raised. Looking to Haine and the penguin beneath her feet. "Nice catch but he could use and outfit change, though" she says in almost a whisper to Haine. Walking to the man who had the same guild icon as they did she holds out a hand saying "I am Samantha but you can call me Sam. I am in the..." Standing there trying to think of what Division Raidou put her in but she couldn't remember. "Ah, it doesn't much matter. I'll give these keys I bought to the man of the group. Let the ladies do the fishing" Sam Says with a grin and confidence even though she had not the first clue about fishing...She knew that the keys were needed though. Handing Kiluia the keys she walks to Haine and looks at the little animal. "You can help us too," saying to the little penggy as she picks it up and rubs her head. "Let's go catch some stuff..." she says as she starts walking slowly to where she knows there is a fishing spot to utilize.

Haine cocked a brow at Sam's comment and tried to disregard it, with a wave of her hand. "Well I think it's pretty hip," she quipped, with a smile to the man. She notes Pingu in her typical wild nature, fleeing her disappointed owner. She hid behind the blue haired woman, knowing all too well that she would try to defend her. She couldn't resist coddling the little penguin whenever she flashed her beady eyes. "What am I gonna do with you?" Haine sighed.

In no time, they were heading for the fishing spot. It was a beautiful, open space with plenty of room to fish. Without further ado, the woman steps forth. "Alright, don't mind if I do!" She spots a conveniently placed tree stump and sits down, equipping her fishing rod. She didn't have to do much setup work thanks to the nature of the game. She simply cast her reel and waited a moment. Suddenly, she feels a weight tugging at her lure. Her golden eyes lit up with excitement as she reels it in, however she finds a beaten down satchel instead of fish. She takes it off the lure and opens it up. Huh, some useful goods for later, she supposed.

He was busy looking at Pingu to pay attention to the person's comments. No matter. He scowled slightly at the creature taking advantage of the situation before being handed the keys into his hands. Catching on rather quickly, he grabbed the keys and tucked them away inside his inventory. He worked his way to the spot the two began their fishing adventure.  As he walked to the pond, he admired the beauty of it. Perhaps underwater would yield more materials.

Pingu immediately dived into the pond water just to relax in the water and cool off. He spoke loudly to his familiar " Don't scare away the fish.." He sat down waiting for everything to settle. It was then he noticed his love catching things immediately. A blink as given as he watche the blue lass start off. "Nicely done."  A smile replaced his features as he watched her quickly do her things. Maybe in the future he would fish. Or not.

He slowly walked up toward Haine and allowed her to wear his Pendant for the remainder of the day. A quick kiss was given to her cheek as he smiled whispering."Hope this helps."

Running after Haine as she starts to fish. Sam slides to a halt next to her Haine and watches the tiny penguin try to fish too. Sam giggles a bit and looks to Kiluia sit next to them. Hmm "Okay fish... get on my fishing pole" she grins as she casts her line out to the water. Staring intently at the water not sure if she was even doing it right. After a moment her line jerks a bit. "Get over here," Sam says as she pulls her fishing pole quickly up and gets smacked in the chest by a small bag. "Ouch," she says rubbing her ribs with her free hand, with a weird face as she detaches the small bag from the line. Gathering the content inside she casts her line in the lake again hoping to get more next time. Looking to the penguin waiting she asked "So what is the little guy's name," not knowing that it was actually a girl penggy.

"Thanks love." Haine accepted the pendant and fastened it around neck for good luck. In the background, Pingu helped herself to a swim in the pond. The bird was happy, dipping her head into the water to wet it. She peered into the murkiness, looking for a fish. Little ripples near the far end signified that there was something alive in here, the trio had just yet to catch to. Pingu was almost within range of the lure. With a squawk, she swam off to the side.

Haine narrowed her eyes in determination and recast the lure. Big guns were the objective, but in the interim, she kept her eyes peeled for a catch. Sure enough, the lure tugged the opposite direction. Her golden eyes ignited with a competitive energy typical to her. "C'mon, baby! Comeee to mama!" She hopped on top of the tree stump and leaned back, luring in a decent sized fish. She hummed taking the flopping thing off the lure. She threw it into her tall bucket and cheered.

He glanced over at Sam as she asked the question of his familiar's name. "Her name is Pingu. She was named after that tv show for kids back in the early 2000's"  He spoke while watching the duo fishing up as many things as possible. Eyes would glance over at Pingu acting in her own element within the water. It was sight to see as the penguin seemed to be chasing aqua life. A blink was given as he watched closely. The fish jumped in the air while Pingu was under the water. A tilt of his head was given as he instinctively punched the fish to land. It flopped for 2 seconds before he was able to collect it into his inventory. This could be a wonderful relationship between the duo if it helped him continue fishing or at least it was accidental and lucky. 

"Keep at it Haine!" He cheered. He would make Pingu dress up as a cheerleader later down the road if they continued doing this. They would have to continue rocking out materials.

"Pingu..." Sam says looking at her playing in the water. "I had a cat once...it ran away because I was too busy playing video games than hanging out with her." Looking to Haine with the small response to Kiluia she says "Are you guys together? You all showed up at the same and you guys have pet names for each other..." Sam feels a her line tug again. "Get over here you," saying as she flings the small bag up from the water. Pingu jumps out of the water trying to catch the small bag but misses and Sam holds the bag in her hands as the penguin just stares her down. Moments later Pengu shakes like a dog and sprays water all over Sam. It makes a small huff sound and jumps back into the water. Sam's eyes went wide as she trying to figure out what just happened.

"Yep, that we are," Haine nodded to Sam, sparing Kiluia a smile over her shoulder. The three were enjoying the company until Pingu unceremoniously went for the other woman. "P-Pingu, stop it!" Haine chastised with a frown. The little bird had made a beeline for Sam's satchel, curious to see what was in there. To no avail, she didn't get to it thanks to the... lady over there. The penguin pouted in her special way, shaking the droplets off her fur. She flops onto her belly and slides into the water, in search of more goodies to claim.

In the interim, Haine fixes for another haul. She recast her lure and settled onto her tree stump. Much to her disappointment, time ticked by and nothing was biting. "Aww, c'mon!" She kicks her legs. "I know you're there-" the bluenette gasped in offense when the jubilant little penguin, the thief, had stolen her catch from her. Pingu chirped as she chased after a fish which was suspiciously close to where her lure was resting. It swam off. 

"Why you-" Haine started, reeling the line back. She pointed at the bird whose eyes were now beady as she knew she'd done something wrong. Haine, however, knew her tricks. She wasn't swayed by the little one's silent plea - this time. "YOU, stay over there!" She pointed at the other side of the pond. The penguin huffed, her beak pointing away from her and up to the sky in mock offense. She circled like a shark on the other side and was soon distracted again.

The distraction of the two caused him to grin while Pingu continued to mess with her frequently. He glanced over at Sam as they continued to fish while he looked on squatting down at the water and staring at the crystal blue fluid. They hadn't really mentioned it to anyone about their relationship minus Freyd who was with them a good chunk of time. His eyes looked over at Haine but he spoke to answer the question. "Yep.. Wouldn't have it any other way. Shes a great partner. " He smiled slightly. He thought he noticed something in the water but it turned out to be loose shiny gravel that he couldn't use for his trade at all. A slight frown appeared but went away as he noticed the penguin gleefully swimming about and causing destruction in her path. She sure had it easier as he sat on his rear now just relaxing. "Makes living here easier to accept with her around."

Sam finally smiles from being soaking wet. "I am glad that you guys have found love in a world like this. Not everyone would be so lucky to do so. It is hard for me because I have yet to find someone like that. Not everyone likes females with other females," Sam says with a smirk. Sam starts to feel something pole but before she could get it out of the water, Pingu takes whatever it was and swims off with it. "Really!! You wanna play that way. Next time you come to land, it's on little penguin." Sam says this with a playful but determined voice watching the little ones every move. Pingu was swimming in circles and every now again it would look to Sam and squawk in a mocking tone toward her. "Ooohhh...you just wait...I'll get you next time..." saying with a grin on her face waiting for either another catch or for Pingu to come to shore.

Haine recast her lure and waited on the tree stump, gaze trained upon the ever mischievous Pingu. Who knew what trouble she'd get into if she let her eyes off the bird. She sits back and keeps the lure steady, hearing the conversation. "I think you'll find someone, Sam," Haine chimed in. "It really comes to you when you least expect it." And true it was. The odds of running into Kiluia again were next to none. She believed it was fate that brought them together, time after time as the years went by.

She was too distracted by the conversation to note that Pingu snuck up on the other woman, grabbing the fish from her. She circled about the pond like a shark, moving suspiciously close to the bluenette. "Don't even think about it!" Haine all but screeched, keeping the reel steady. In due time, something bit at her bait. With a mock battle cry, she leaned forward, pulling the weight in. It was a decent sized fish. But grabbed it and tossed it into her catch bucket.

Eyes were lost in the day as he waded his hand back and forth in the water. He wasn't exactly sure what he was doing at the moment but he knew he was still gathering material. It was a bust, however. No materials to be found by the chef. He looked a bit distant as he looked toward across the lake. Pingu was causing all sorts of trouble but she was a penguin and fish were her diet. Her belly would get full at this rate. He kept his gaze forward but slowly did they ever slide toward Haine with a look of awe wondering how the lass would even accept someone like him. He looked away and gave a smile looking down between his legs. This was indeed something of a wild roller coaster. '

."We should consider moving to a fishing spot if you'd all like." He looked over at Haine and Sam before looking at the water once more. It was still beautiful to him. "The other side of the lake may be more promising."

Sam's line starts to pull he baggy when she sees Pingu starts to charge through the water toward her loot. "Oh no, you don"t...Not this time" as she quickly pulls her line before she got there. Pingu swims in a circle a few times then pops her head up. Sam looks at her angrily but then frowns. Pingu looked so sad..."Fine but only because you look so pathetic when you're sad..." Sam says as she tossed a fish out to Pingu feeling sorry for the thing. "Stop being a jerk to me and there is more where that came from." Pingu jumps from the water and catches the fish mid-air. "Other side of the lake you say...Let's get to it then." looking across the lake it seemed that there was land only yards away. She looks to Kiluia and Haine with a grin before she swans dives into the lake. It takes her a moment to get to the other side but manages to do so. Soaking wet, Sam gets to land again sitting at the edge as she calls out to the duo "The water is great, come over here," saying as she rings her bonnet out and sets it on her lap and rings her hair out.

Haine agreed to move to another side of the lake. She pushed herself off the ground and was about to walk until she witnessed Sam unceremoniously diving into the lake. The woman covered her mouth in shock, watching a carefree Sam swim over to the other side. She climbed out of the water and ushered them over. "U-Uh, okay then! I see ya." The bluenette laughed, grabbing a hold of her things. She contemplated for a moment and then placed them into her inventory. "ALRIGHT! I'm headin' over!" She jumped into the lake, screeching as the colder water enveloped her. She swam over to the other side, reaching for Sam's hand for help getting out of there. Pingu swam up to Haine, using her back as a ladder to walk off.

She shook the water off of her and equipped her pole. "Alright, here goes!" She stood, casting the reel into the water. Pingu, phased by Haine's unspoken threat whenever she got too close to comfort, had left the lure alone. The woman hummed, waiting for a nibble. She felt a smaller tug this time. With a nod, she lured the line in. Nice! A few more catches for the bucket, she tossed them in.

The lake was pretty to him. However, he did not find it pleasant for him to go swimming. He sighed slightly as he placed his armor in his inventory and made sure he wouldn't drown. Body moved forward and he was in the water now. Underneath lied a various amount of aqua marine life. His eyes were looking at each fish and things that lived under the deep. While traveling, he tried to find something of any sort to gather materials. However, that did nothing for him as he continued to swim. Everything close by stayed just far enough away from him to avoid being taken. A frown crossed his face as he surfaced for air. He looked at them and exhaled being soaked now.

"I'm actually thinking about going back down to see if I can find anything. I'm not exactly sure if I will but I think it'll taste good if I manage anything out of all of that." He spoke. He was determined to get something soon. He could not depend on the girls all the time to get the materials. It would be something like he couldn't pull his weight. @Sam

Sam gets to her feet and takes out her fishing pole again. Haine had swum across too and soon, Kiluia as well. Sam smiles knowing that this could be a dua that she would get along with. Kiluia went back underneath the water though to try finding some materials of his own. Pingu did a dive underwater with him and Sam can't help but chuckle. Sam felt a tug on her line shortly after she chasted it back into the water. She quickly pulled it but it seemed a bit heavy. "I think I got something..." Sam cries out struggling to pull it from the water. After a bit of time she pulls it up and it flies into the air above her..."Hey look it's a ch..." before Sam could finish her sentence the chest exploded in a small radius around it and turned to data before it could make a landing to the ground..."But...I..." she had no words for what just happened. "Well, it was...Dam it" she said super confused as she cast her line back into the water.

She looked to Kiluia and shot him a thumbs up. "You got this, love! Break a leg." She set her pole down and wrung the excess droplets off her clothes. She was, by all means, covered in water. She didn't think she had it in her to do something so crazy. But when all was said and done, she felt some sort of adrenaline in her, a surge of motivation to do something. She frowned at the man as he struggled to find anything, Pingu assisting by his stead. Damn.

She turned her attention to Sam's ruckus, gaping at the large treasure chest she was luring in. "Oh my god! We found one-" On cue, out of nowhere, it spontaneously combusted in the air. The debris materialized before their eyes, before anything could be retrieved. She sunk to her knees in a dramatic fashion. "NO! We lost it..." She curled her bottom lip out and reached for the rod. Her mood had soured a little at the missed opportunity. She simply cast her reel and waited, to no avail. Nothing had bit. "I don't think my pond likes us," Haine jested.
