I like the variety you have going there! Do you prefer sketching inanimate objects, or do you draw people as well? Also, I'm not sure why, but my favorite is the really long one. At first I thought it was two swords stuck together in the middle, but I quickly began noticing problems with that interpretation, haha. I've definitely met quite a few people who prefer inanimate objects though! And I don't claim to be good at drawing, but I've always had some trouble with drawing in three dimensions as well. It's easy to imagine things like cubes and draw them, but I have trouble really visualizing more complex objects in my head, which I find makes it difficult to portray the proper shading and depth and such. Another things is, do you prefer to draw with a normal pencil or a mechanical pencil? It might not seem like a big deal, but with a normal wooden pencil, I can't draw half as well as I can with a mechanical one. Quote Report Link to post Share on other sites

I really like those Ticonderoga pencils, which aren't specifically made for sketching or drawing, but they're comfortable enough and the lead quality works for me. I prefer wooden pencils and pens over mechanical pencils, but I can't entirely point out why, although I've very specific with my pens too. Quote Report Link to post Share on other sites
