Mari 1 Posted February 16, 2015 #1 Report Share Posted February 16, 2015 <<Guardian of Fire>> This quest takes place on Floor 9 This quest is repeatable There are rumors of a beast floating around Vulcan Village. It's a three-headed monstrosity of a dog that, when killed, drops a potion that allows one to inflict burn damage. The journey to the beast's lair is arduous, taking two days and three nights of travel due south in the sweltering heat. The Cerberus only appears after players make their way into Inferno Cavern. The heat is so intense that all players who enter lose 10 HP per turn If their CD value is below 6. The <<Survival>> skill can negate this effect. Upon entering the cave, players must fight through a pack of hellhounds before engaging with the boss. Cerberus will then step out from a cloud of smoke, its dark body covered in dancing flames. Its three heads are ferocious and all attack individually. Requirements - Minimum 20 Posts in the thread - Maximum party size of 4. - Must RP that two days have passed from «Vulcan Town» to «Inferno Cavern» -Once in Inferno Cavern - players must roll a CD value every turn. If the CD is less than 6, the players suffer 10 unmitigatable damage from the sweltering heat. -Must Defeat 3 Hellhounds per player present. -Cerberus must be defeated. << Hell Hound >> 30 HP Damage per Attack: 50 (MD 9 = 75 Damage || MD 10 = 100 Damage) Mitigation: 0 << Cerberus >> «Cerberus» is a Field Boss and has the following statistics: Cerberus has 3 heads, each with independent health gauges. Each head has 30 HP. Damage per Attack: 80 + 10 Burn Damage next turn Cerberus will ignore Mitigation on a natural roll of 9-10 Each head will attack independently of one another. Cerberus will attack once for each undefeated head. The same roll ID can be used for each attack. Rewards Cerberus Soul: Grants the user Burn II scaled to Tier 1 for the duration of a thread. Does not stack with the Burn Enhancement. 3 Skill Points (first completion only). Parties or Groups of low level players are advised.
