[Non-combat] (PP-F3) Who are you? (Saber & Thyri)

Recommended Posts

A collective day like any other, the azure blue sky above, littered with puffy white clouds, providing the shade needed for the players that roamed the warm sands. Many of them enjoying their days, as they laughed and frockleted, as many were dressed in swimwear attire, one was not. As he wore a simple leather tunic, pants, and boots with the metal shin and knee guards. His silver hair, reaching to the center fold in his back, a blue scabbard holding a large Zweihander laid in front of him, as the figure was positioned in the lotus position. His eyes were closed, and his aura was calm, as his tan like skin seemed to light up in the sunlight, the teal green tattoo on his chest creeping up through the collar region. As it touched his throat, and slight under his right eye, as it looked to be a sun or some ornate looking one, his hands folded in his lap, as he rested upon a rock, the sound of the ocean keeping him at ease. The caws of sea birds filled the air, and salt stinged at the nostrils, the sand covered nothing of the man, as he hadn't touched the sand since he arrived. As it was mid afternoon, close to eleven thirty, the wind blowing about, as his silver grey hair dancing behind him, as the strands were all different lengths, giving a wild like appearance. Layered almost, as the figure was a large bulking man, his body frame was that mean to wield a sword like a Zweihander and swing it around. As his arms flexed when the feeling of cool wind brushed upon his flesh.

"So this is floor 3. Niiice." Thyri smirked as she stepped out of the transportation zone and made her way towards the cawing of the seabirds that floated on updrafts. Her cream colored linen dress fluttered around her white legs, ginger hair dancing against the breeze. The scabbard of her Epee clincked lightly against her belt as she walked.
She had never been to this zone, prefering the safety of Floor 1 or the large collection of flowers in the High Fields up in Floor 2 where she could pratice what she remember from her botany classes. She haden't been very succesful yet, but that was beside the point.

"I eh.. did kinda underestimate how hot it is here though." She shook her head while looking up at the burning hot sun as it blazed down onto the prairie, wincing at the intensity. She'd been a part of SAO for a little more then 4 days now (was it 4 days? She couldn't really tell time anymore.); still getting used to many of the intricacies of the game (and some basics too). As she looked down, she saw the silver hair dancing in the wind, similar to hers aside from the color. What impressed her more was the huge Zweihander that was poking out from either side of the person's lap, it made her Epee feel small and dainty in comparison.

"Okay, here goes." With a gentle hiss, the weapon slid out of its sheath and after she'd made sure that she was well enough away from the other player, she closed her eyes. Her right foot slowly scraped over the sand as she prepared herself for her second actual practice routine with the weapon.

The sounds of players was bearable, but the sun, wind, and sound of the ocean were enough to make up for it, when the sound of a weapon being drawn, Saber sighed, as he ignored the sound. He wanted to make sure he didn't get distracted from it, and before he knew it, he felt something strike him in the head, it was a ball of some sorts and a few kids were laughing as Saber tumbled down the side of the rock he sat one. ~Yeah nice one, you got him!~ One of the boys beckoned, while the others were walking away, the only thing that Saber did was grab his Zweihander and begin his trek away. He made his path to the caves like before, as he could see he couldn't have a peaceful time on the warm sands, his Zweihanders silver and blue coloured scabbard dragging on the sand making a line. While the children that hit him with the ball laughed at him, and then ran off in other directions, abandoning their toy, while Saber now was in the mouth of the cave, and stepped in taking a seat on the rock next to a pillar in the center. He returned to his lotus position and tried to be calm, now if he had some ale or lager he would be better, as now the winds not reaching him, his silver grey hair sitting still in the fold of hsi back, resumed his usual project.

The ball hitting the guy in the head had distracted her just as much as it had done to him, as she slid the weapon back into her sheath with a soft sigh. Were they NPC's? Probably, she mused as she watched the children run back towards the edge of the prairie lake. Folding a string of ginger hair back around her ear, Thyri looked as the male player picked up his huge weapon and strode off to the nearby caves. She'd have understood if he was mad for being disturbed in his meditation. She knew she'd be pretty pissed, but it felt more like there was an aura of disdain around the male.

As he sat down on his new meditation spot, Thyri followed a few meters behind. He had caught her curiosity, and not just because of the gigantic weapon. "Hmm.. Oh, I know." The Irish player smiled lightly as she pulled two bottles of water from her backpack that she'd obtained in Starter City. One of them she rolled over the sand towards him, the other, she kept as she moved to flat slab of terrain. Hopefully just outside of hearing distance from Saber, she restarted the elementries of Rapier swordsmenship like the guide had told her to do.

The sound of water dripping was warming, and pleasant. but the sound of something rolling caught his eye, and he turned his head, the face of a man in his mid twenties was what he had. The bangs his head held swayed in the motion, as his eyes turned to the sight of a bottle rolling at him. He gave a nonchalant look and grabbed the bottle, as he leaned over, his large hands grasping the bottle, the sapphire and emerald green coloured eyes gazed at it. Then his head returned to looking at the wall, then a voice rang through the air, "I thank you, but it was not necessary on your part." His deep Germanic tones voice, the German was strong in his voice due to him being pure German, though his words were full of emptiness, he placed the container next to him. Then like that, he returned to his meditation, as he could hear someone outside the cavern, and he sighed, "If your going to stand there, might as well come in." His empty words filling the cave again, as he kept his eyes closed, and his hands returning to the folded position, his breathing was light, yet deep and heavy, he made sure he was in a calm state, like he could ever be angered. And with each breathe he took, his leather tunic stretched, and his hair moved, as though it was living, and each time he turned his head to listen his hair swayed with him,

"I thank you, but it was not necessary on your part."

Thyri looked up as the man's German accent caught her by surprise. Until now, she was used to nearly everyone speaking Japanese or a variation of it. Even the NPC's still had Japanese accents in her version of the game. "Perhaps not, no. But I prefer to help people wherever possible, regardless of it being 'necessary' or not." She sheathed her Epee again, the scabbard was getting more use then the actual weapon today. Walking into the mouth of the cave, she looked at the meditating man. On one hand, it was frustrating her that he was so aloof, but on the other hand she respected his restraint and clear sign of him not wanting to be disturbed.

It seemed like she wasn't going to get any real sword practice done, so she decided to instead focus on her own stamina. It was something she could do in silence, as a sign of respect towards the meditating man.

Saber, once he heard the voice, he turned his head, and his silver grey hair fluttered behind him, as it creeped over his left shoulder and his green blue eyes, resembling emeralds and sapphires gazed at the woman before him. Or rather behind him, and saw she used a Rapier, but one thing caught his eye, she was larger than other female players, in fact, females in general, as his body shifted he sighed. "Welcome, I presume, to this.... region of the floor." He said not sure how to speak to this female player, as he rarely ever did, with his eyes looking her over, he then turned his body, shifting his right leg up and made it stand up, as he leaned in. "Tell me... why do you care so much, for something like me?" He asked her, referring himself as that a thing, and not a person, with his other leg still laying flat on the ground, and his arms now prompted on the taller leg, his Zweihander now beside him. He just looked at her, "Perhaps... your just like that." He said turning his head away from her, in a sense of confusement, he sighed, "It seems were are the same in a sense."

He said opening up his HUD and pulling out a roll of bread, tossing it to the other player, "Eat, your going to need your strength, thats should be proficient enough for now." He said as he then closed his eyes and let out a small sigh, then opening the blue green eyes once more, his tattoo upon his skin revealed now as he leaned back, and looked up at the ceiling, the light now coming into the cave through a hole above him. And the light shone down through it, it engulfed the man and made his entire being light up, the muscles in his frame were now more visible, and his tattoo once hidden by the dark of the cave, the little stands of it coming forth. Under his right cheek, and center of his throat, going into the neck region of the leather tunic, and hiding under it. His hair now sliding behind him once more, he just gave a bored sigh, but his aura was more positive, it that was possible. As he waited for the woman to speak, "Take a seat anywhere you wish, I honestly could care if you stayed or go, many do, thats how the events of life occur." He said, his Germanic voice dark, and very mature like, as he looked at her, wondering why she followed him, perhaps the children were the reason, and she felt sorry for him, pity, but either way, he sat there, looking at her, his frame still in the light as the clouds above sheltered the light every so often making his form light up and darken.
