Xion 0 Posted September 12, 2015 #1 Report Share Posted September 12, 2015 Hey, so if there anyone here that plays dark souls 2 and wouldn't mind helping out with some rather annoying bosses *COUGH* Royal rat authority *COUGH* and maybe some friendly duels as I am having very little success invading with cracked blue eye orbs. Zeke 0 Posted September 12, 2015 #2 Report Share Posted September 12, 2015 Oh god, royal rat authority. Don't even go there with me. I've never beaten that or the smelter demon. And have you made it to shrine of Amana yet? YOU WILL RAGE. Quote Report
Xion 0 Posted September 12, 2015 Author #3 Report Share Posted September 12, 2015 Dude I'm a greatshield/Halberd build, shrine of amana is like having 20 sorcery builds attacking you at once, RIP me. Also, maybe we could take turns helping each other out? Quote Report
Zeke 0 Posted September 12, 2015 #4 Report Share Posted September 12, 2015 I think I can do what I need to by just researching a bit more, because I only fought the two bosses I'm having the most trouble with, 2 times. Plus it was one-hundred levels ago. I think I am like level 200+ But I can't remember the exact level. What platform?I haven't played in months, so I will have to get my bearings back. Xion 0 Posted September 12, 2015 Author #5 Report Share Posted September 12, 2015 xbox 360 and I am like level 96 XD Quote Report
Zeke 0 Posted September 12, 2015 #6 Report Share Posted September 12, 2015 Aw shiz, I'm PC. Sorry, man. But yeah, researching bosses and trying new tactics usually ends up working. I saw a video of someone beating the royal rat authority, and they barely got hit by just trying to stay behind its front legs. Also, watch this video and laugh at the music stopping: Quote Report
Xion 0 Posted September 12, 2015 Author #7 Report Share Posted September 12, 2015 Yeah I tried that, but it's the little bastard that kill me, they just proc toxic and then whenever you try to heal the boss just punishes. Quote Report
Zeke 0 Posted September 12, 2015 #8 Report Share Posted September 12, 2015 I'm mainly strength, I just go crazy on them before the big one jumps down, then they all die and I can heal toxic right before the big one hits me. Quote Report
Tristan Delaney 0 Posted September 13, 2015 #9 Report Share Posted September 13, 2015 I used to play this on PS3. Had a rather fun build using Havel madness with Sunlight Spear sunbro power. Royal Rat authority you wanna use twinblades, the narrow corridors means you can push people against walls of the caves which 1. stunlocks em 2. makes them get hit ALOT because they are against the wall instead of knocked out of reach. Xion 0 Posted September 13, 2015 Author #10 Report Share Posted September 13, 2015 I have a twinblade, but the damage is abysmal and I'm a strength build, not Dex. Although you do get santear's spear in the doors of pharros so I may have to give that a go. Thanks man :) Quote Report
