Appearance

With his light, undamaged skin and his fiery red hair, Kyle was considered quite the looker. His past time, being reading, didn't leave him with much muscle but his last few growth spurts had allowed for his body to tone up and gain more features. His wavy strawberry blonde hair basically fell in all directions and his iridescent blue eyes made for a striking image of his face.

History/personality

From a young age Kyle was very closed off. He didn't play with other kids and mainly kept to himself, mostly reading. He was extremely smart for his age but was never very social. During his school days he would stare out the windows ignoring his teachers as he tried to imagine himself somewhere else. It didn't matter where, just anywhere. He was highly admired by the girls in his school for his cool attitude and top marks in school. People expected big things from him as the successor to his father's business.

To most, it was sudden. One day Kyle was his normal antisocial self. The next, he was smiling and actually talking to a new girl, Natalia, that had transferred to the school only a week before. People were surprised at this. Kyle was talking with someone. Laughing with someone. How it happened nobody could ever figure out.

From then on, everyone was getting to see the lighter side of Kyle as he began to change. It was like a fire had been lit and was melting the ice that had hid him away. Girls began to follow him everywhere in the hallways and guys began to try to invite him to party at karaoke and to hangout.

Everyone knew it was thanks to Natalia that he had changed so much. They could be seen walking to school together everyday. She even made him lunch, which made all the guys and girls jealous. Everyone believed it was amazing how much of an amazing couple they made, but it sadly wasn't meant to last.

It was a in later February when it happened. Natalia had gotten ill and was stuck in bed everyday. Kyle would bring her the homework and notes sent home by the teachers. He slowly became more and more like his old self. His classmates tried to help, especially his friend Kito, who had been one of the first to try to get to know Kyle from the moment they met. Things just became worse though. It all hit rock bottom the day Natalia had passed. At the funeral everyone paid their respects to Kyle and Natalia's family. The only thing that crossed Kyle's mind during all that time was how much he wanted to get away. Anywhere that wasn't there. Anywhere that wasn't real. It would be a few weeks before he would discover his way out...SAO.

Virtues:

Kyle is very practical. He's logical about what needs doing and what would likely be the best thing to do about it. His practicality allows for the opportunity for him to be a good leader. It also can lead to him making enemies when saying what needs said rather than should be said.

Kyle is extremely loyal to those who have earned his trust and respect. He will go to great lengths to honor prove that loyalty. He will lead and follow his companions wherever they may go. Hoping to one day accomplish their dreams.

Kyle is a mixture of compassion and bravery. He will jump in to help another if they are in need of help. Putting everything on the line to protect others from harm. He has little care for thanks and rewards. As long as no one has to go through what he did.

Flaws:

Kyle is very callous, in the beginning. He has lost the one thing he truly loved. His light has been snuffed out and now he cares only for escaping the hell that is real-life. Kyle tries to find his light once again but is hard pressed to understand why he's really here.

Kyle is very blunt. Having grown up never really developing social skill he is very straightforward and too the point. He will likely not hold back on a conversation unless he has reason, such as actually caring or hiding something. This sometimes leads Kyle to regretting his actions sometimes.

Kyle is remorseless to those he doubts deserves it. Anyone willing to cause pain to another, physically or emotionally, doesn't deserve pity or empathy. He goes beyond what is needed to destroy a person in whatever means he deems necessary. In this way he creates enemies among others.
