[F1-PP-PT] Cold Oven (Earning a Living: Cook)
Nisahime replied to Nisahime's topic in Beginner Floors
With a bag full of real fresh flour in tow, she even makes a pit stop to yoink a couple of eggs before heading back into town. The reddish brown eggs and flour in tow, she opens the door to Maggie's store to the ring of a bell. "Nope, No. Shhhhh" Nisahime exhumes in a quick lift of her finger, pressing it against the NPC's lips. "I got it man, just stand over there." Tilting around the woman, she'd see the spice rack and claim the container of sugar. A small jug of milk in hand with the sugar tucked under her arm, the woman gets to work with a whisk. The oven springs to life, the chick pours o -

The armful of wheat is carried over her shoulder to a nearby windmill, and the woman helps herself inside. The NPC starts to warn her but is stricken silent as he watches the girl ascend the ladder and begin to offer the grain into the hopper with a drag of her hand. "Uh, Miss. You know what your doing?" The man asks up desperate to prevent her from hurting herself. "Yep, I got it chief." Ripping the stocks through a tightly clutched fist, they fall limply down the chute. Once she's cleared it all, the remaining strands of plant matter are bunched up and tied. A glance out the window shows a s -

Bundles of wheat begin to pile up as the woman spares little time in shaving down most of Horunka had to offer. Armful by armful she'd begin to strip them down taking the ones with notably decent blooms at its top, beginning to wrap them up in twine. The chaff is quickly discarded behind her, leaving a nice little wake of plant matter. That sickle of hers remains sharp as she grabs a handful of the stock at the top and rakes it back toward her chest to cut the lowest most point of the plants. Each brussel is then cast underhanded toward the others for sorting. Farmers look on in a bout of curi -

[PT-PP-F1] Old Song (Earning a Living: Performer)
Sam replied to Nisahime's topic in Beginner Floors
After Nisahime was done, it amazed her how great the woman was. With the bass hanging on her back from the strap she would clap. After a few moments of fame from the woman's end Sam would swirl her guitar forward around her shoulder blade catching it in her hands. The music starts to illuminate the room, a song that she was rather familiar with and a very practiced one from CC chart. Tapping her feet and moving her body to the music that she played. Head bobbing to the beat, then nothing. It was over before she knew it, swishing her hair forward then back up as she takes a deep breath. Landon -

The woman would begin to play as she'd wander into the store, utilizing the mans equipment without a lick of care nor concern. The guy would continue to talk as waves of red pooled off of her much in the way that others would view fighting spirit, and yet it echoed out from her in ways that others would not even begin to fathom. Blades of many would shriek to life at such simple plucks of a chord, as well versed and practiced hands would express the sheer volume of effort and training that they had undergone. It would only be a matter of time before she was back to her full faculties and was a -

Tapping the top of her box, she'd cast her tools into it and allow them to vanish into it. The woman climbs inside and starts to organize the massive pile of shit in it, trying to make space for all the other crap she'd intend to be able store here as well. The whole time she's holding her breath given that there wasn't much in the way of air in here either, looking up to see the sunlight pour in from a square opening. Climbing up and out, she'd pull out that little multi faceted colored shard. Breathing out in a heavy exhale, the woman shuts an eye and really inspects it. That faint white glo -

Walking into the blacksmithing shop, she would wait till Nisahime was done. A knife was made, the quality looked great. Now it was her turn, as she put the ore chunks into the open furnace bowl allowing it to melt down into a liquid state. Taking a mitt so that she didn't burn herself, (Not sure if she actually could) she takes the handle and pours some into a few of the molds provide. Setting them on the cooling rack to harden, she would wait. It doesn't take long to dry, she picks the molds up and dumps each to the table. Taking the mitts off, she would grab the hammer to flatten them a bit -

Listening carefully to Nisahime, she says this like she had experience in it. Like she had lived it, almost missed it. Taking a deep breath, maybe that was what CC was trying to relay. When ever they played it was with an empty crowd. Maybe one day she would be able to feel that rush. She had to prove to CC that she could be the best, maybe then she would be allowed to join the real band back home. They had years of experience on her, that was not going to stop her from trying though. Grabbing another shard free with a small wiggling motion, this was the last one. Setting it with the others, s -

Sliding into the towns thoroughfare, she'd immediately help herself to a furnace starting to refine down the raw ores into ingots. It wouldn't be more then a few moments before they'd take the shape of a couple of standard yet thin bars, and once they cool enough to become solid the woman takes a pair of brass tongs and plucks them out. Heavy leather mitts on her hands, she taps it onto an anvil and proceeds to pound away with a decently large dead blow hammer. Strike after strike sending sparks flying out against everything, drawing the metal out thin and pounding it flat. Lifting it up to he -

"Yea no, never have. Up until this game I had never seen one outside of a photo." Watching the chest waddle around, it looked a bit like Sam but without the googly eyes. Sam's was just goofy looking but as was most of the creatures in this game. Tapping at the vein as Nisahime rushed to finish the work. The metal crashed hard with one last build up swing. She would gather the material that was useful out of the bunch of rocks clattering to the ground. She couldn't wait to ride a horse, something about it was just so amusing. She was also excited to tell her father that she was able to pick up -

"Heh, that's what you think. But there is some aspects of a performance you simply are never going to catch on a recording. Looks, the rush of a crowd. The smell of excitement, which can be a little much. But that electricity. Nope." Nisahime would remark as she'd rip out a final stone, causing the little counter at the side of her vision to turn grey and then fade into obscurity. "Just practice, get better. Don't need to relive history over and over to improve. Thats an old wives tale. Anyway, hurry up. I'm heading back. Don't break any~" The woman would remark as she'd begin to slide away, w -

"Hmm, I guess it's just a way to have a free hand and not have to switch on the fly." Back in the day??? Was that another way of saying in her other world. That still confused that crap out of her, all the talk about different universes and crap. She lived by facts most of the time but the stuff in this game as made her alter that opinion slightly. Not sure to what or how, it was a bit overwhelming to think about. "I think that it is a way to reflect your best self, in music anyway. Record it and look back to what you have accomplished." This was more true that she ever thought it would be. Th -

Beginning to bag up her yield, taking care to snap off any loose grey bits that would only work to dirty any ingots that she'd refine. "Can't believe you've never ridden a horse before. That was pretty standard, then again cars didn't exist yet." The woman chuckled as the bag begin to fill up. The chest wanders into view, and she lifts its lid and tosses the pickaxe inside without an ounce of caution. "Good boy, wait for momma." Spoken as she closes the lid and taps it twice on the top, like patting a dog. "Finish up, I'm heading back." Nisa remarks as she'd scrunch up the top of the bag into -

"There ya go, the first way to solve a problem is to address it." Nisahime chuckles, moving to another nest egg of the things. They sat protruding out of a stone like leaves of an aloe vera plant, these glimmering hunks of glass. Nisahime gingerly grasps one in her right hand, bending it back and forth like the shifter in a manual transmission. Eventually it becomes so loose that she can easily slide it free. "Yep pretty cool, now I am a little drawn back by the act of recording it and keeping it in your pocket. Back in my day we did that shit in battle. None of this pocket tape." The woman re -

Eruda's eyes would light up with excitement, "Yes please, after we are done here though. Yea it's sorta on my bucket list." As much as she would love to drop what she was doing to parade on a horse, the woman seemed to persistent about getting this done ASAP. She wouldn't interrupted that motive. It was a hard quality to find in people, being so focused and driven that you would do anything to get it done faster. Time was a very precious thing, one not to be wasted. She has learned this well with Raidou. Chipping lightly at one of the boulders, before seeing something shine beneath it. One for -

Walking back into the store, pointing straight at the dumb NPC that insisted on hearing himself talk. "Shut up, don't care." The woman barks out causing the mans raised finger to curl up like a banana. She'd start to glance at his equipment and it was abysmal to say the least. Talk about running on fumes, there was no metallic thread, no decent sheers and the loom was cobbled out of wood and normal ass string. "Great, useless. Just gotta...." The little flicker of green sparks like fireflies still stuck to her avatar, as Nisa would gingerly begin to run the string back and forth through the lo -

"Maybe your right" taking a huge deep breath. It was clear that she had to start a schedule that involved lung usage. "To be far I have be trying to write songs of my own. It's a bit harder than I would like to admit." A small huff before glancing down to find another shard. "So it's reflecting light, cool" saying as she snaps it free softly. She didn't really know how fragile they actually were. Staring at it amused, she had never actually taken the time to observe such a fascinating item. They were also crushed or used right before something primal happened that would bring her focus elsewhe
