  1. She thrashed around the water for a good while but eventually came to no avail. She huffed and stood up out of the water, sitting the by the edge of the body and running a hand through her hair, twisting the blonde locks to get all the water out of it. Being a low level player was quite a struggle. Practically everything in the game was owning her right now. Even the fish. The fish weren't even enemies and they still got the better of her. Kalina looked around cautiously, hoping nobody was in the area to have seen that. No one to the left. No one to the right. No one behind, aaaaaand no one in front. Coast was clear.

"Good, good. I still got it. Reputation is a-okay."

She laughed a little nervously and kept getting water out of her hair. Kalina if you keep talking to yourself people are going to start thinking you're a crazy person. Stop.

  2. Standing up, she allowed a little smirk to play on her lips.

"So you do need my help! Well, because it's around Christmas, I guess there's no problem in lending you a hand. Here, I'll send a party request."

Kalina swiped her hand in the air and sent a party request to Vargas, speed walking over to stand by him. Apparently she had convinced herself that she was the one giving help now, and that Vargas was the one trying to cover up the need for assistance. This girl is ridiculous. She placed a hand on the pummel of her rapier that was strapped to her waist, nodding confidently. Her weapon was still default as well, so she didn't have any upper-hands against any foes in the game until she got it to be a little beefed up. Though she felt it inside, she wasn't going to openly admit that she was excited she was about to finally get stronger and start making some accomplishments in the game.

  3. She looked up and raised a brow, a few droplets of water running down her soft cheek and then dripping off her chin. Kalina rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. A lot of other players had jumped on this whole situation as a chance to pick up chicks. And Kalina, being a fairly attractive girl, wasn't an exception to such advances. So she frequently told them where they could put their offers.

"What, you calling me delicate? It's just a dedication thing. I'll be one-shoting boars in no time, thanks."

She said with a sassy little head bob. She had a pretty big sense of pride too, and didn't seem to admit that she needed some help. After being outside and becoming victim to some of the most petty monsters in the entire game said pride had already taken some damage. So right now, she was kinda between a rock and a hard place. Either way she looked at it she would have to grudgingly do something she normally wouldn't do. Kalina let out a sigh and gave a sideways glance to Vargas.

"But if you need help killing boars, I guess I can spare some time. I'm Kalina."

  4. Kalina walked through the town like she had places to be, and had a somewhat agitated expression on her face. So far the game hadn't been going too much in her favor. She sat down at the same as the other player and let out a long huff, dipping her hand in the water and starting to wipe off some of the dirt that was on her. She tried exploring some of the first floor, but dang. The elements had their way.

    "Stupid boars, one day..."

She grumbled while scrubbing, making sure that she looked at least somewhat presentable. Being low level was definitely a bummer, but she wasn't too terribly stressed by it. If anything it fed into her desire to become better. She could be a little pushy, meaning she didn't take well to being pushed herself. She didn't even notice the other player beside her as she went on cleaning herself and ranting with mumbles.

  5. Kalina rested her head in her hands, pursing her lips in thought. She had to start doing something productive. Collect supplies, kill some monsters, anything. She looked down back at the water, seeing the fish eventually start to return. She grinned, unequipping her boots and standing. Jump into the water, [censored] those fish, head back to town and sell them like no one's business. Then she could buy some supplies, kill some enemies, git gud, profit. She then jumped into the water and plunged her hands in, reaching around wildly for fish. And she got one! Yanking it out of the water it thrashed around violently, difficult to hold because of the slippery body and relentless struggle.

"Gah-! Hey, knock it off, will ya!?"

Kalina grit her teeth and glared at the fish, slowly watching as it began getting success in it's escape attempt. It slipped right out of her hands and lingered in the air for a moment. Kalina's eyes widened at the fish as it fiercely pivoted in the air, it's tail coming right back around and firmly slapping her across the face before falling back into the water and swimming off. Kalina stared in disbelief and placed a hand on her cheek.

"You little punk! Where did you go!? I'll kill you!"

  6. "Okay... Maybe not how I wanted to start off, but alright."

Kalina huffed and blew some blonde hair out of her eyes, sitting by a river on Floor 1. The Floor accurately matched her level, since she had been slacking pretty harshly since the game's release. What, fight a few Frenzy Boars almost two years ago and then vanish? Real professional, Kalina. She leaned over and looked into the water, peering at her reflection. A few fish were lazily swimming by, acting completely identical to their real world counterparts. Not like in other games where they had set cycles and rarely varied. The player picked up a flat looking rock and looked up, reeling back her arm and chucking it, watching it skid across the water before falling into the water with a satisfying 'Plunk!' Some ripples shuddered across the water's crystal clear surface, and the fish by the water's edge swam off.

"Hah, trust me, running doesn't get you too far."

Kalina said with a half grin, speaking in a comedic and defeated tone. She herself had slacked pretty hard since the games release. Two years. Two whole years! Someone with a little more drive could have completed so much in that time. Gotten so strong, helped so many people. But here she was. Talking to fish. Not doing anything productive.

  7. The pig glared at Kalina and then squealed with anger, running at her with it's tusks out. Kalina yelped and quickly sidestepped, averting the boar's attack. She regained her footing and then opened her eyes, looking to the pig and then to herself, seeing she was unharmed. "Ha! Nice try, bacon bits. But it's gonna take a hell of a lot more than just a wimpy move like that to get rid of me." She said cockily, gloating on the fact that she dodged a simple boar. She twiled her foil in her hands and looked to the boar, a smirk spreading across her lips. "And now, I make my next move."

    Kalina: 5/5

    <Boar> : 2/3

  8. As she neared closer, the boar looked up, and tensed as it looked at Kalina with blood red eyes. Kalina stopped in her tracks and thought quickly. "Get wrecked, bacon bits!" She yelled, running at the boar and thrusting her rapier forward. She felt the sharp point plunge into the boar, who made a loud squeal and snarled at her. Kalina smirked and pulled her blade out, taking a few steps back and sticking her tongue out at it. "What's the matter? Never seen a strong, independent black woman before? Wait, I'm not black." Kalina said, rolling her eyes and raising her rapier again. "Whatever. You're just a stupid boar anyway. I don't need your approval!" She yelled at the boar, who didn't even know what she was saying either way.

    <Boar> : 2/3

  9. Kalina appeared in the starter's town in a flash of blue light, standing in the center plaza with no one else around. Having joined the game much later than launch, this is what she expected. Kalina stood up, and cracked her knuckles, then her neck. "Alright. Time to fix chumps and take names." She said, whilst rolling her arms to adapt to the new environment. She felt her weapon loosely hanging from her side, and she looked down, seeing it strapped to her waist. Right next to her extremely short skirt. "...Are you freaking serious? I mean, really? What's up with game developers making girl's clothes so small? Now I have even more reason to find the creep who made this game." She said, gritting her teeth as she walked down the road in town, feeling both insulted and angered by how she looked like her real self, and then shamelessly crammed into these skimpy clothes.

"Once I find the nerd who made this game... I'm gonna make him my bi-" She stopped talking when she came to the gates of the town, seeing a boar walking outside the safe zone lavishly, minding it's own business. Kalina grinned and slowly drew her rapier, tip-toeing closer. "...Buuut.. First I'm gonna make this little piggy go wee wee wee all the way home..." She said as she drew closer, the pig not noticing her yet. All according to plan.

    Profile
    » Username: Kalina
    » Real name: Kalina Curnoff
    » Age: 16
    » Gender: Female
    » Height: 5'5"

» About: Kalina was never into video games that much, until her younger brother died in Sword Art Online. Getting over the grieving quickly, Kalina used her deceased brother's NerveGear after the funeral to play the game, hoping to find whoever killed her sibling and give them a piece of her mind. Having joined later than initial release, she has vast experience compared to most others, and starts at a much lower level since she's a new character. She is very determined to have this game licked as soon as she can, and doesn't really seem impacted mentally by the hefty death toll of the game.

    » Virtues:

» Attractive - Kalina has it off well in the looks department, and usually gets better treatment because of this. However, she usually tries a more blunt approach of sheer willpower to get what she wants instead of using this virtue.

» Determined - Once she has a goal set, Kalina will refuse to retire until said goal is complete to it's maximum. This makes her reliable to get a job done, though, if she doesn't particularly like the job she has been given, she may just ditch the task entirely and not even bother.

» Leader - Kalina never like being a follower, so she usually takes charge of everything. While this may make her seem bossy, really she holds great insight and has excellent decision making skills.

    » Flaws:

» Sassy - Her extremely sassy nature makes her less likable to most folk, since she cannot tolerate anyone who disagrees with her. This makes her the bossy type and will cause most people to start resenting her.

» In-Sensitive - She hardly can see how others feel for what she does, and she doesn't really care either way. Kalina has an interest in getting results, and thinks that people who complain for what she does are just a bunch or pushovers. This again, makes people to dislike her.

» Impatient - If someone isn't doing their part, Kalina will not hesitate in giving them the business. While her main interest is mostly exploration, if someone is slacking, she can rant for minutes at them for not getting done with their job. This also makes her blind to the long term effects of her choices, since she only wants what gets her results the fastest.
