So uh ... I'm busty :v
I'll try to get posts going when I have some free time. I'm the head chef of this summer camp, so time isn't a thing I really have anymore.

Discord app? Instant messanger on phone or computer. We're rarely using the skype chat anymore, though I think some people still use it.
Here is a link to the SAO-RPG Discord Server, for your convenience --> https://discord.gg/p2zsGGJ
Do you have any immediate questions that require answering?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE BEST GUY IN THE WORLD.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! -
Are Open threads dead? All I can see are Solo threads and Private threads, but Very, Very, limited Open threads. And it makes me wonder why? I believe that open threads are fantastic. It can pull an entire group of random people together and create something beautiful. The first thread that I ever jumped into was an Open thread and it was the best time I've had on this website. I wish more of these threads would pop up, (And that the ones that do pop up don't have 17 or more posts already)

*Shakes fist at pun*
When it gets to that extreme, 17+ members, keeping that kind of posting while trying to get optimal usage out of the thread is just impossible, unless others get screwed out of the posting race. Especially for those that don't have the time to post constantly.
The only reason for 17+ people to be in a single thread, is either an event, or a boss raid. Anything else is wasted potential.

Challenge for those who dare!!
I had a conversation with people on discord today about what their favorite quest was and why and I got some great answers.
So here is my challenge. Take a more plain, ordinary quest, and spice it up! Show me what you guys want out of a quest by example. Is it choice and consequence? A narrative? A chance to actually fail the quest? This is your chance to show me if my suspicions are true.

Own ideas:
- "Training the Familiar": If you thought finding a familiar was hard, get ready to start giving them more love. A follow-up to the Feeding the Enemy quest, the player has spent some time with their familiar; having many adventures with them. This quest is unlocked after the player gets to rank 2 with their familiar (familiar level requirements may be raised due to this). During this quest line, the type of familiar will effect how things work out.
- Fighter - Gain its own stats (relative to owners), and fights mobs (closer to its stats) while the owner deals with their own problem. (Maybe a CD / LD puzzle, or something like that.)
- Protector - Same as Fighter, but with trap that is causing consistent DoT, familiar takes damage until player does something about it.
- Treasure Hunter - Reverse of Fighter. Player faces hordes / trap while the familiar finds the solution.
- Healer - Out last the horde / trap while familiar heals you, or wounded. (I need better situations...)
- Accurate - Familiar is fighting with fighting the enemy. (The only thing I could think of..)
- Assistant - Player and Familiar come up with a temporary solution through their craft. (Based on Profession. Ex. Antidote for DoT effects or Tailoring something to snuff out flames.)
Unlocks the 3rd rank for the familiar. (Or something else, entirely. Staff call on that one.)

Going off of Piera Ideas:
- Earning an Apprenticeship: The player does not wish to own a business, and instead work under someone else. The requirements for this would probably be the failure (if that was even possible) of the EaL quest, or something along those lines. (Maybe, a sub-plot for thief type players? They're caught stealing or framed for it, and have to work it off through someone's shop.) By the end of the quest, the quest giver (Staff) will assign the player to any player that currently owns a shop. They become an apprentice to the shop owner giving them benefits, as well.
Said apprentice will level their working experience like any other shop owner, but can't go higher than a certain rank. The shop owner gains those additional crafting attempts from their new worker, but only the apprentice can roll their crafts.

This place, looks so familiar. It's almost as if I've been in here a past life... perhaps I might stop back to my past and get into SAO-RPG again. Any opinions?

So, being back is a thing and being back comes with a few things.
One, meeting all the new people that have come round.
Two, seeing what people I once knew(which-isnt-many-from-the-looks-of-things)
Three, trying to become more of an active person round these parts n whatnot.
I hope to see many of you around and RP in plentiful amounts!
