    Would a yan yue dao be counted as a Two-Handed Assault Spear (saw the skill says efficiency in piercing-type polearms so just making sure)?

      I'm guessing you're referring to the broad-headed spear kind of like a naginata (looks like of like a Chinese dao with an extended pole handle XD).

      Technically speaking that would still count as a spear, since it wouldn't fall into any of the other categories. The Two-Handed Assault Spear flavor text refers to spears that are closer to the pointed polearms like lances and the like.
