  2. The tattered tents, patched up tarps, and littered streets. If anyone were to think of slums, this would be a picture in a dictionary. Macradon sighed at the digital misery that was forced upon these people, be they sentient or not. He didn’t have much to say on the matter, he wasn’t a figure of power to turn anything on this floor, if anything he was a terrorist, a foreigner who has come to stir up some problems for his own personal gain: freedom from the hellscape Aincrad.

Hirru was quick to find the so-called ‘corridor’, and Macradon had to agree with the description. A lot of people were walking in and out, escorted by what seemed like ordinary soldiers, and perhaps even regular people. It was clear that there were people being escorted, and not just random bands of people; those oppressed were wearing yellow arm bands, Galtean refugees.

It seemed like Hirru wanted the two to follow and try to do some reconnaissance in these corridors, but with Macradon’s current loadout, sneaking was going to be a bit difficult, and he didn't want to stick more out sonically than he already did. “Aight … give me a few” he would request and extracted multiple straps of leather from his inventory, he procured a dozen of belts that he would use to tie down his armour to his body so the interlocking parts wouldn’t make as much noise as he moved about. It wasn’t a problem he was used to, but after the big overhaul, his sneaking prowess had virtually vanished and his armour was now too loud to properly sneak around. After a few tightenings of the belts, Macradon’s battle regalia was fastened enough to make as minimal sound as possible during transit, which was optimal for what seemed like a stealth oriented stalking expedition.

“Alright, let’s head out” he said and began his stride. Big movements into the sewer line, not something he was fond of as the smell was horrendous “Seems like this is the best route, let’s just get it over with.”

  3. Night truly showed her advantage in this fight. Macradon’s range wasn’t enough to keep her at bay. Flashes and blurs disappeared around his attacks, dodging and evading like cleaving into a mist. The knight chortled even though he was in a disadvantageous spot “You’re pretty good, light footed across the battlefield. I can’t imagine you also doing this while going all out with your greatsword. Saying I am impressed would just feel patronising, you’re a good fighter!” he exclaimed and went for a rock solid blocking guard, but it was futile, Night’s agility trumped his reach and ferocity, he was getting rusty against other players, which was good, he didn’t want to be great at that, not any longer, there was no need for his self righteous bullshit anymore, he was free to fight the environment, something he needed to survive and persevere on. Night’s strikes were direct and precise, perfectly matched to her weapon of choice. As the third strike hit him, Macradon would raise both his arms and let go of his wooden sword “Well fought, I very much enjoyed this.” he said with a smile and lowered his arms again. He crouched down to grab his sword, and on his way back up would extend out a clenched fist “Thanks for the bout.”

  4. Macradon snickered, “Glad to know I’m not the only one having just about nothing to do when raids aren’t upon us. Every excuse to get outside seems like a breath of fresh air, no matter how non-fresh the air ends up being,” he said and commented on their surroundings. It wasn’t the best of places to be, but it was something. This place wasn’t important, what was really important was what Baldur would be pointing out in the distance.

“That mountain huh … so the mountain houses the boss we’ll be fighting?” he questioned but only needed a short while to piece the pieces together “Oh shit. That mountain is «The Ancient». Fuck.” he said with a light concern in his voice. “Well … we better get going then, doesn’t seem like saying «The Ancient» feels good to the people around us. We better defeat «The Ancient» as fast as we can before the people of the settlement begin to fear for «The Ancient» even more. The least we can do for them is to take out the mountainous «The Ancient» he said jokingly to a point where ‘the ancient’ no longer made sense to him.

“I guess … we’ll just leave.” he said while feeling the daggers and sneers the trio were getting from the locals. He would walk over to the closest pasture and find a good riding partner to venture out with. The knight, despite his self-imposed title, hadn’t used horses that much, he had just kept himself to walking, but it was exciting to get to a fight faster rather than later.

As the party finally arrived at their destination, Macradon leapt off of his horse and landed somewhat statically, bending slightly by the knees and readjusted back up again. “Alright, didn’t take too long, let’s quickly prepare ourselves.” he said while Baldur began drinking his potion for the oncoming battle. Jomei took one of Baldur’s potions as well and chugged it down “Seems like I’ll be fronting off this titan, give me a few secs.” he said and began consuming large amounts of food right in front of the others, making sure that he would be able to tank through this fight.

After chowing down on all his grub, Macradon flushed it down with the damage potion Baldur had offered, setting him up for the battle.

  5. With a quick upwards strike trailing behind him like a tail, Macradon glamorously failed to connect with Night who easily diverted from his oncoming attack. The incoming attack would then at least attempt to be parried, but the added momentum, and the lighter weapon Night was using, easily manoeuvred around his unwieldy blade with a just as unwieldy grip. His boulderous rock slide of a parry didn’t go his way and was hit by the quick strikes of Night. To his retaliation, Macradon would boulder his way through but play to his own advantage now, reach. Not only was his blade longer, his hilt as well. He was practically using his sword like a wonky glaive, being able to leverage like a greatsword, but reach close to a glaive, but doing neither at their greatest strengths.

Night was moving fast and swiftly, taking her lighter weapon and armament to their fullest by moving faster than Macradon could realign his momentum in strikes, what seemed to be working now was straight forward broad sweeps, he would have to keep out for quick fake outs in Night’s movements, he had to try and feel his way towards the path Night would go, trying to cover as much as possible like an avalanche. With breakneck sweeps, Macradon aimed for a wide strike going towards his opponent.

  6. What a sight, this wasn’t really what he had anticipated for what seemingly was a valentines event … a tournament. Macradon chortled and looked at the crows around him and Baldur standing strong on his centralised position to everyone, telling everyone present what was going on and how the tournament was to be executed. It was quite the setup Baldur had prepared, training clothes, weapons, and gear. Everything seemed to be proper sparring gear where everyone could go all out without anyone being hurt. The dojo’s aesthetics were pleasing to the eye and everything seemed to be neatly placed to nail in the aesthetic even more. For whomever he were to go up against, his current attire would not be suitable, even if he had hoped for an all out brawl, this wasn’t the place for it.

As he quickly donned his sparring uniform, he took off his right sleeve and let it hang besides him, letting half of his torso stay loose for dexterity purposes, and possibly looking cooler than being fully covered. And with possibly meaning not at all. Of all the weapons at display, Macradon was at a slight disadvantage with what he could pick out from, there really wasn’t anything that he was too comfortable wielding in this weight class, so he just went with what he felt most at home with: this shitty weird thing. He picked up the wooden sword, slightly curved in its long blade, but still enough leverage for two-handed use. What really picked this weapon out from the rest was the handle which was nearly as long as the blade itself. “Na-ga-ma-ki … huh” he muttered after picking it up and inspecting the item “Guess I’ll try this bad boy out.” he said with a joyous smile.

He quickly side eyed up towards Baldur when the competition prize was a rare Safeguard potion, something that he hadn’t seen in the game in a while, this might even be one if not the last safeguard to ever exist. “Now that’s what I call a prize.” he said with glee as he walked over to the brackets to see who he would be facing.

“Night .. huh. I’ve met her a few times, but I don’t really know her that well.” he mumbled for himself as he scoured through the mass of people, trying to pick out the stealthy greatsword wielder, but she was fast to enter the arena before he even scouted her out, he would follow suit and enter. “You’re using something smaller than usual. Shame, I would’ve loved to spar with you at your full potential, guess this’ll do anyways.” he said with a friendly smile as he got into a near guard with his blade trailing behind him, lowered down towards the ground. He would set himself up with a lowered stance leaning forward, either having to take the initiative himself or let Night engage upon him. "No personal attack taken." he replied with a nod.

A few seconds that felt like an eternity leapt by as nothing really seemed to happen, they were both dead-locked in being reactionary, so whatever he could do now was to set it all up “HERE I COME!” he roared as he charged in with a ferocious might. As predictable his moves were, it didn’t surprise him that Night easily began to counteract his brash spearheading.

  7. Macradon had packed and donne some great gear for the cold cold 4th floor as he exited his estate only for him to receive Baldur’s reply “For fuck’s sake.” he exclaimed and went back inside and began packing other clothes for the occasion, something that was more … battle-ready, since an ancient earth elemental was guarding a forbidden garden onsen which sounded endearingly interesting to check out.

Re: Re: Re Noodle Club Meeting #2 ?

Aight, I'll take these change in plans, I'll probably be slightly later than the two of you, gotta change into something more ... adequate for the occassion.

He would begin to don his Frostlight after sending the message to the two, and heavily pack extra cloth on his ironclad boots, making sure that his feet wouldn’t get stuck in the muddy environment that was the 19th floor’s less ideal settlement settings. He would venture out with everything packed in his inventory and made sure that he was combat ready for when they were to meet whatever poor elemental would meet the might of these three musketeers. As he muttered the words “Floor nineteen, Home,” the knight was engulfed in the turquoise light transporting him up to the humble settlement that was Home, it wasn’t much, but it’s still an honest place to stay.

    floor19Meetup.png.2fdbef8307b01d9e4dd381319f5e53b9.png

With every step he took, the sopping wet mud than span out through the entire camping area would make its presence known, not only by the resistance in steps, but also the sound it made with every step. Clas in bright white silver, Macradon's mist would fall behind him with his stride through the central plaza of the settlement to meet with his comrades "Baldur, Jomei, well met." he greeted with a very bright smile contrasting his current whereabouts. He looked down at his feet already covered in dark brown mud, Macradon chortled and looked back up at the Emerald Dualist and Gaijin Samurai "Welp, just as pleasant as I remembered it to be. Good to see you two again, I really needed some proper unwinding. Time at home hasn't really been the same lately" he added to his entrance and tried to add a super not awkward wink. "How have you guys been doing?" he inquired the two.

  8. Macradon growled lightly by all the fuss going around. A mere choice in a game, a non-dilemma, going up in flames around the frontlines. He wasn’t a person to argue, he was a good soldier and followed orders, he was a battling machine, so interactions weren’t part of his fine repertoire of murderhobo-ing through everything and everywhere. He sighed heavily and struck his sword into the ground, leaned up against it, and began to massage his temples “Are you guys really sure about this. Are we really playing Pokémon now? Going all out until it’s in the red, then we ‘capture’ the poor little thing and possibly gain more benefits? Is this what boss raids had come to?” he would just stand there, dumbfounded by what was going on.

The desperate king not so desperate anymore. The aggressor pleading for forgiveness. “People risk their lives to go and free the rest of Aincrad’s inhabitants, and this is what we’re doing now? Haggling with the floor boss instead of just hastening to our, and everyone else’s, freedom? … I don’t really care what happens to our collective figment of our imagination that is GabbyWabby over there, if the majority is to spare, so be it. I still just want to get it over with.” He said and sat down and ignored all the instigations from everyone else, it flew over his head, it didn’t concern him, there was nothing he wanted to influence in everyone else … except one person in particular.

“No, @Hirru. You didn’t mess up. You followed your instinct and your morality, you will have to keep that up now that you’re actively given the chance to make a choice. I wasn’t a big fan of how it went down last time, but since I’m barred from just mauling this fallen king gut, I have to await the gates for me to act upon. You did good.” He said, assuring the Jade Hunter that he didn’t exactly make a big fucky wucky like last time, even though Macradon were to think of it like that, it wasn’t because of Hirru that the boss just went down on its knees and pleaded the end to come one way or the other.

  9. As his team without hesitation went on the assault, everything was going as “planned”, the scathers were disabled or disactivated and Gabrandr was hurting all over. The next parties to take their turn at the punching bag came barging in, ready to finish off the boss to get everyone out to the other side, safely to the next floor … or so Macradon had hoped. But nope! Visual Novel time let’s go! A prompt appeared in front of him, as well as in front of everyone else. It asked them all the same question, and there was a definite line between the frontlines, some would spare and others would go for the kill. Macradon looked around to start out, trying to identify whom where on which choice. One thing he scoured at first was Hirru, this wasn’t the first time he had distrust against him, nor would it be the last. It was just like back then, but now implemented into the fight.

The knight roared out into the echoing boss room, the sound of blades against armour had vanished, only discussions were had on which choice to make. “F*ck you Cardinal you piece of [censored]! This one time where I’m actually having fun, this ONE TIME where I’m enjoying my own presence, you pull this crap once again, but not just as a thing that could happen. WE’RE HAMFISTED THIS PIECE OF SHIT CHOICE YOU’RE GIVEN US.” He yelled and punched the <Kill> option for the prompt in front of him.

“I made that choice the last time, and I won’t make the same mistake again. I want to kill him now, I do not care what he stands for, I do not care the NPCs that rely on him, I just want this over with right away.” He said and awaited everyone else who hadn’t made a choice yet finalise their decisions.

  10. Macradon nodded, the wording probably wasn't as kind as he wanted it to have been, but with the current setting, that was probably a better word to describe the conditions. He added to his description "A general gathering/living area predominated by a minority in the wider scope. Since these Galteans are held at lower regards, they might have their own living areas from everyone else, or they might just be locked up in a big mosh pit. I'd like to find out either way." and went on with what Hirru noted about the slums "Alright then, let's head out and get closer." Macradon said and began walking in a stern stride. With every step his armour clang, with every step his intimidating presence would keep the people in the streets out of his way. He would at some moment scour out towards the civilians, trying to indent his presence and character into the NPCs roaming throughout.

The would continue his stride for a good while, trying to locate the slums again to look for the Galtean population, the repressed minority. With twists and turns through the alleyways, Macradon finally reached the slums, he felt the stench hit him like a huge wall, like a zone barrier in a game. If SAO wasn’t as widely made this would’ve probably been a loading zone to a poisonous area. “This was the slum area you thought of, right? A corridor then …” Macradon pondered and wandered around.

  11. “He’s a wily one this Gabrandr!” Macradon shouted out to the rest of his party. The damage that was done and then rightly so nullified kept the team running. The other players were quick to run for the scathers and disarm them as quickly as possible, letting the rest reach for the vanguard. With the next oncoming attack, Macradon knew that it was gonna hurt and he prepared himself “Morg, I’ll take the next hit, you’ve done more than a good job! I trust you with my safety!” he called out as he ran past his party’s tank “This one’s gonna keep him at bay for a little while!” he roared and went in with a rather weak hit, but enough to keep the h health bar depleting steadily. It wasn’t the hard hit like before, it wasn’t the spacial rend or temporal cleave that his latest attack could induce, but it was still a fair bit of damage, trickling down that health bar to a better position for the frontlines, this was a war they would conquer with ease!

  12. The fizz of a can being opened, the heavy sigh of the drinking subject. The first floor estate sat empty apart from its now only resident. A big house for a single person, a whole lot of nothing to do all alone anymore. He brought the drink up to his mouth and began chugging, it was all he could get himself to do now, there wasn’t anything else that was giving him the entertainment and thrill of the fight that he used to strive for. He longed for the hectic daily battles, he couldn’t forget the action he kept meeting day in and day out, everything was now so … mundane and boring.

He finished his energy drink and threw the empty can on the floor of his living room, shattering it into crystalline shards as the item de-materialised. “Yeah no … the 15th was a mistake” he muttered to himself as he sat back up on his sofa … “Ok, a 16th can’t be that bad, right?” he thought and scoured through his inventory only to be interrupted by a message popping up in his HUD, someone had sent him a DM.

“Huh, who could that be.” he said and opened it up, reading through the subject and the body of the message. “Sounds nice, let’s do it!” he said out loud to himself, the echo of his voice scattering through the empty space of his house. With a few swift movements Macradon sent back a reply to the Emerald Duelist.

RE: Noodle Club Meeting #2 ?

Sure thing, I’ll be there, wherever. Any place thought out of yet? If not, I think I still have the coordinates to the old KoB hotspring on the 4th floor. If any one of you could bring something nice, soothing, and cold to drink while relaxing in the spring water that’d be great.

He got up from his sofa and dismissed the HUD. The first that now came to mind was proper clothing for the 4th floor, if that was to be chosen as their meeting spot. “Yeah, warmer clothes than last time …” he said and looked through his wardrobe while also remembering his attire last time he met with the boys.

  13. The blinding bright flames would erupt and cover Macradon in a wicked retaliation from the boss, dealing a good chunk of damage to all affected by the luminous payback. It didn't seem like he was the only one hit by the flares, at least that was what he could notice from the HUD in his view, but just as fast the health was slowly depleted, his health was bumped back up, he couldn't see clearly, but he could hear and the voice was familiar "Thanks for the backup, @Simmone!" he called out to his team mate. Macradon kept his mind steeled and focused on what was at hand, but something irked him the wrong way. “... unshackle the chains that bind them.” That part really hit Macradon hard. He felt it deep inside himself, but he didn’t need a matriarch to keep him from falling into the depths, he had his friends and comrades around him taking care of that bit. Quick flashbacks flew over Macradon’s sight as his mind was accessing his memories. Images of pitch black darkness descended upon him with every blink followed by bright light shining from shackles that once bound him. Macradon chuckled at the king’s defense of actions, what his aim was, and what his reasoning was “Well well, old man. I don’t really particularly need your reasoning, I can fly up there myself and wreak havoc like the good old days. I could even use one of your scathers to blow myself up there, and don’t tempt me, I’ve thought of those kinds of batshit crazy things before.” the knight roared out with laughter “But you’re now standing in my way for freedom, and like you, violence is my answer!” he called and attacked. Just like the king, Macradon brandished his sword with a vengeful might, whereas the king was fighting for his people and wanted to atone for his mistakes, Macradon merely wanted to get over this somewhat larger than normal hurdle that stood in his way for freedom. “Take this, oh Majesty!” he roared with a bright burning blade that cleaved through the king like butter. The bright orange sword art transitioned to a blinding holy white as it cleft through the king, subtle fractures in the digital fabric were slightly torn, as if shifting them around violently with his phasing capabilities.

  14. Just like before, the cannon thingies were deactivated, shot down, eviscerated, even before Macradon had a chance to act, therefore his only objective was to wither down the health of the boss as fast as he could. The single health bar converted into multiple others, showing the true colours of the fallen king, now resolute with his decision to blow up parliament. “I’d mostly agree with how you want to run things, but violence isn’t always the answer … but who am I to talk, yeet!” he retorted at the king and went in for another attack. But alas the knight missed the target, but just barely glancing off of the king’s armour. Despite the missed attack, Macradon was just as resolute as the king, landing in a proper position to strike with a much better angled attack for his next swing, unless the king were to do something about his current somewhat compromised position from unsuccessfully executing his sword art. Morgenstern still seemed to be the forefront of the king’s attention, which helped Macradon feel safe in his vulnerable position for a bit longer.

  15. From light the «Banner of Command» materialised from his inventory, covered in bright blue crystals as it began to take form from nothing. “Sure thing.” the knight replied with a smile and handed over his banner to the old man. His banner had been with him for a while, it had seen a lot of stuff happen, it had been there from when he joined the KoB, to the fall of one Vice Commander after the other … after the other … after the other. Macradon sighed from what nostalgia and requiem its existence gave him, the warm feelings of his membership of the knights and the cold shudders of his mentor, friends, and comrades murdered and slaughtered before him. It had been with him through thick and thin, boosting his own morale, giving him great pleasure in his capabilities to now wield it one last time as a great finishing grace.

As magic enveloped the close parties involved in the kerfuffle winds would pick up and twist around clothes and lifting up accessories and wafting aside what leaves would have resided around their feet. The sheen of the banner’s steel was refined and bright, ready to stand proud as parties would rally under it again. Macradon smiled and lowered his head slightly at the old figure, thanking him “Thank you very much, I will take care of this treasure once again.” and smiled as the old man left. He looked over at his fiancé and chortled “Guess you should’ve been faster than that.” he said with a bright smile, only slightly bummed out that Kairi wasn’t able to get anything this time around.

  16. It went much faster than anticipated, everything went into motion in a fell swoop right before his eyes. He was one of the first to arrive, but he was only one of many. The frontline’s raid parties had assembled in a pretty fast fashion and were now heading into the boss room. With the glimpse they had from defeating the labyrinth guardian, Macradon could only anticipate the worst in feats of smelliness and sewage that would rear its ugly head at the frontlines. “Active cannons, huh. Guess that’s what we’ll have to work with now.” he thought to himself and got into a battle stance and rushed into the boss room with everyone else.

As a figure appeared in between the frontlines and the cannons, Macradon lifted his hand up to his sword and drew the edgy sharp stick. His frozen aura began to emanate around him, covering him in a cold mist that left ice patches behind him as he walked on the floor. “That doesn’t really look like a boss … it doesn’t have that much health … apparently …” he mentioned to his party and tried to see what everyone else were doing.

Baldur was quick to react to what was given to the frontlines in the form of information, Macradon looked over and nodded, even if his nod wasn’t seen by the Gaijin Samurai, Macradon acknowledged Baldur’s overview of the raid and would take that with him, all the knight had to do was to follow orders and seize what opportunity he can give to his comrades.

The boss didn’t seem to have the strongest of will fighting off the frontlines, but who were they to judge, he had his reasons and they might collide with the frontline’s goals of freedom. He was but a machine programmed to act in a certain way. Macradon would shrug off the emotions of helping some broken dude that couldn’t explain his reasoning for having these cannons active. Macradon would do his best to also go into the initiative to deactivate whatever these cannons were, but before he could even get to them, everyone else had done their thing and deactivated the glow which only lead up to one conclusion for what this knight had to do.

He stood up tall and went into a battle stance “I guess this is what I’m up for now.” he said and shook his body slightly while maintaining his stance, ready to engage as he ripped off a Charge straight into the boss. Just like the others that went all in on the boss, Macradon would do so as well. A quick burst of wind to exude as Macradon darted by and quickly cleaved through the king with a heavy swing, taking out a good chunk of health like the other DPS of his party, easily withering the health of the supposed boss.

Just as he finished his sword art the knight roared out "Let's show THIS FALLEN KING who's boss, we will not falter!" to @Morgenstern, hoping their memories would help them tank through this.

  17. There wasn’t a lot going on towards the boss room, it was a stinky alleyway, just like it was when they fought the giant rat beast that guarded the entrance. With the raid battlefield ripe for the taking, frontliners were slowly beginning to gather round and make their appearances. Macradon arrived as the first of his party members that was concluded from the latest raid meeting, and he barely knew any of the members he was to fight with, which was a new experience for the Imperial Topaz. The only member he recognized was Morgenstern, a person he had fought with before at raids and during private parties for quests, a formidable frontliner he was comfortable enough to have the leading role of a tank for his party.

Standing at the entrance to the boss room were the Jade Hunter, Gaijin Samurai, and Ultramarine Knight. These were people he had fought with before, and most of them were people he trusted to be at his aid when things would turn for the worst. The present frontliners were a great and strong core that would be able to spearhead into fray withstand whatever would come in their way, whatever lies beyond the cannons within the boss room.

Macradon had prepared himself with an arrangement of potions and foods that would boost his role as a DPS for his party, if not also an off-tank if Morg would get in the need of a quick tap-out, or if anyone else of his party would need a quick switch to get away from the low-hate sniping enemy, if that would be the case like the rat.

“Well met everyone.” Macradon exclaimed as his armour clang with every step, getting closer and closer to the present warriors “Let’s make the best of today’s battle. I’m eager to fight alongside you all again.” he said, directing hi vision towards Calrex and Baldur.

  20. Macradon would raise an eyebrow, Hirru did indeed have something for them to work on, which was a nice twist. The knight nodded his head in acknowledgement and revised his current allocation of equipment. He went through his long list of useful items and concluded that his current attire would be outlandish enough to not be seen as a high-brow threat, but also not too militaristic to seem like anything else than someone making a quick pit stop at the town. “Refugees, slaves, immigrants. Quite the people we have to work with, but I guess if this fancy technology is some heavily guarded intelligence, I guess the easiest way is through the bottom instead of the top.” he said, agreeing with the sentiment of having to stir up a ruckus. “Sure, let’s head out” Macradon replied and would try to look around him “I don’t know where we should head, is there some kind of ghetto of Galteans we can find, or do we have to go around and find hotspots?” he inquired.

  21. The discussions that ensued were not what the knight had thought would come up. The passive, but close to active, aggressiveness in the air could be felt from Hidden, but for Hirru’s own sake the Jade Hunter was able to combat the sharp words with a wise retort without spilling too much back towards his aggressor. Macradon sighed, it was still a heavy and touchy subject for him, he had felt the humiliation, perhaps not directly but still enough for it to have been a burden for him. He would shake that uneasiness off of himself and looked back towards the rest of the meeting’s participants.

Macradon was happy that no one entirely followed Hidden’s sentiment by not only showing up late but to spew her words without any prior engagement into the matter. Macradon could only sigh as everyone else would retaliate with their words, and even though the knight was more than satisfied with the vengeful justice of the more sound people of the raid voice their opinions, Macradon still agreed with some of what Hidden had said but he hadn’t had the actual will to say it out loud … yet.

Everyone was quick to diffuse the argument and go back to strategizing about the raid and its possible features, now this was something Macradon could sit idle and say nothing about as well. The idea of a zeppelin flying over them and the cannons to be used against it was fun, but the cathedral-like boss room didn’t feel like there would be any airbourne mighty enemy ship coming for them … perhaps it was for something else … like a large bombardment on someone, like a horde of something. “Here comes a thought that might allude to this raid being different from others, like the ones before. Cannons in medieval warfare were good horde disruptors and siege weapons. Could this be a horde of rats and other infestants we have to clear out? Like one big mighty Pied Piper and his gang of infestation? Wouldn’t be uncalled for since we’ve seen shit like that before.” he suggested and downed what little tea was left at his table.

  22. The lingering effects of the transportation finally let go and dropped its lightening effect on all of Macradon's currently equipped possessions, letting his armour clang together as it set itself onto the knight again. His cape would waft lightly in the wind but would like the armour settle on the back of the knight. He stretched his body slightly from side to side to make sure he didn't need to readjust his armour after the teleportation and with a quick nod at himself, he was ready to venture out, which he in turn actually didn't need to, the Jade Hunter was already present there in the bazaar, waiting for the knight's arrival. He looked over at the voice calling out to him and with a quick stern nod Macradon would return the greeting "Hirru."

He wasn't too fond of the sudden callout, since anything that would've need to be said could've been done through other settings than this, so there had to be some reason that wasn't just talking they had to do on this floor. Like the floor before it, everything was a danger zone, nothing was particularly safe, no one were safe here, everyone could attack at any moment, everyone could be an enemy. Macradon scoured the crowds around him and didn't really seem to find anything that was a clear threat which lead him to somewhat lower his guard, letting go of a bit of tension in his body. "Why have you called me here? What do you need my aide for?" he inquired of the Jade Hunter. "I surely hope it's not some idle chit chat you wanted up here. Have you found anything that could help us gain an upper hand at the raid?" he asked, knowing that Hirru was a skilled scout ... at least he used to be ... hoping he had been snooping around and needed help for something going on.

  23. More people were slowly beginning to gather at the designated meeting spot, which was nice. The small ensemble that had appeared before Macradon wasn’t a huge crowd, not even enough to properly set up a single raid part, but with the new additions to the fray, a party or two could probably be stacked up for a proper vanguard. Macradon waved at Baldur as he entered the dojo. He didn’t say much, he kept silent, waiting for the meeting to get going instead of falling into “meaningless” chit chat. They needed to get right into the thick of it and keep pushing through, they couldn’t just laze around and do nothing, they had to act.

Macradon didn’t have much to add to the conversation overall since everyone pretty much just said what he was thinking, there was nothing to go against, nothing to interject with, nothing to be able to correct, the meeting was very streamlined in itself, which was great. The parties listed were fine as well, so nothing to really discuss from the knight’s perspective, the only thing he could add was his aide to whomever would need it “I know we’re all pretty well decked out, but I’m willing to donate whatever materials or col is needed to get everyone prepped and ready for the raid. The less cumbersome we can get to the raid the better.” he added, sitting up straight and just following along the meeting.
