  1. Truly wonderful were the times when form and function could both be optimal, and the two female players in this moment were clearly in agreement with this fact. Vigilon unintentionally caused the parts of the scroll to separate, but the parts didn't shatter, so they were still of some use and could still be looked at carefully. Astreya would ask Krysta if she and Vigilon had been adventuring together long. "Perhaps not as long as other players could have, but Vigilon and I have certainly been through very much together. He may have his stumbles every once in a while, but no one is perfect, and
  2. Vigilon let the two players know that he had been trying to understand what seemed to be a scroll of some sort. Both Krysta and Astreya noticed the writing on the other side of the scroll, but Krysta let Astreya be the one to mention it, so that she might potentially be included in whatever this might lead to. Krysta would notice that the girl was wearing a battledress, though it appeared to be a heavier set, unlike Krysta's Light Armor Battledress. Nevertheless, it was nice that she, too, was a player who seemed to like sets of gear where style and function could actually work alongside one a
  3. It had been a fair amount of time since Krysta had reawakened from what she could only believe was the darkest of days in fluid form, and after what she had gone through, it was time she got herself busy again. There was much to do, and only so much time to do it. She soon received a message from Vigilon, asking her to meet up with him in the safe zone's edge in the first floor. The meeting place was likely to be in the Town of Beginnings, Krysta was certain of it. She checked her inventory before continuing onward. She had the necessary gear for battle. She had her battledress, and she had he

  9. Krysta needed to find something that might help her rise above. Surely, there was someone who had what she needed. There was a merchant who she may or may not have been to before, but if there was one thing she had heard of, it was something to be desired that was within this player's possession, ready to be sold. Krysta left for this individual as soon as she could. Upon arriving, she would take a look through the merchant's stock, and eventually would find something that caught her eye. While this weapon she saw was not one she could use, she remembered that she had an item that could c
  10. It was time to put all of this to an end. Krysta had been failing to find the right opportunities to fight her, and every time she had tried to find her in a scenario that would allow her to fight this evil, she would fail to even see her. The white haired female player would suggest a battle plan. She had been able to take a hit from Dazia before, she could do it again. "I am willing to take on such a role for the good of the players in Aincrad." She answered. She then looked back to the monument, just in time...to witness another name get crossed off the monument. <<Derenze>>
  11. Nothing seemed to happen with the conversation which she had addressed, but someone else seemed to hear Krysta's words. "Where she was last seen, that keeps changing. She's been surprisingly elusive, and there was this trio of players willing to seek her out...they've sighted her time and time again, but not once have they been able to actually catch her." She revealed. "Dazia has killed two within duels, and one outside of duels. My guess is that the duel victims only sought to spar, but she surprised them by making the duels total loss and killed them then, when it was too late. As for
  12. Krysta usually wasn't one to purposefully eavesdrop on other conversations, it was often rude. However, the context she overheard brought her to listen anyway, as she was now willing to join the conversation when the time was right. After yet another player gave his thoughts to the two players' discussion on life and death, Krysta would need to give her thoughts. She would walk a bit closer to the players in said discussion. "While capturing is indeed an option for some, there are others who are far worse than one might think. While it is true that we mustn't let our blades and anguish control
  13. Visiting the Monument of Life had become a routine to Krysta. It reminded her of the reality of the situation, and that there were many lives to save, but it also fueled her vendetta. She would slowly walk into the room, several players were present, but she was not focused on that for the time being. She walked up to the monument and took a fairly quick look. <<Wardege>> Full-loss Duel against Dazia <<Lupix>> Full-loss Duel against Dazia <<Aldinago>> Player-Killed by Dazia It seemed that so far, nothing had changed.
  14. Krysta knew that there was only one last thing to do before leaving for the trip: purchase items from a merchant's stock. Immolation Potion +1s, and Teleport Crystals. Surely, Vigilon and Krysta would have need of these if they were to take part in large-scale combat, as was anticipated in the plans. Krysta would make her way back to the Merchant Shop, Pandora's Wares, as she had done before. Once again, Krysta would enter a poorly kept shop. It still seemed that the shopkeeper had little time to organize the place...Krysta truly pitied the girl, she must have had her hands full to the point w
  15. An unwanted encounter transpired the other day, so now Krysta was here on the first floor, looking for shops that would supply the items to replace what had been stolen... "Devious little plunderer," Krysta muttered. "I'll teach her some manners one day..." She would come across a place that appeared to be a shop... upon first glances, it would appear to be a café, yet upon closer inspection as Krysta entered, it was actually an alchemist's shop, although certainly reminiscent of a café. She would look around for some time, seeing what the player-ran facility had to offer, and then she wo
  16. Krysta was willing to do her part in terms of making preparations for what she and Vigilon had planned. It would surely be a difficult road, and thus there would need to be some additional defensive measures to take. She had heard of the immolation potions, how they can be found in merchant stores. She knew that they could provide additional defensive measures, similar to thorns, and able to stack with them...but she had only recently heard that they can be more potent with different tiers. She would enter a merchant shop, and my, did Krysta pity the one who must have been so busy to have been

Due to certain circumstances, I'll just go without consumables. I'll start the thread, and I'm sure the four of us can take on the boss and defeat it!

  18. Krysta had begun hearing some rumors about a player missing in action. Most of the descriptions were empty, but one missing player rumor reminded her of someone she knew: one of her friends from the real world, Kimberly. Whether this was her friend or not, Krysta couldn't just leave this player to be missing in action, she had to do something! ...But what could she do? She asked an ally of her boyfriend for some information regarding that missing player rumor, and left to see if she could find a place that might prepare her for the long journey ahead. Upon hearing of one particular merchant sh
  19. Vigilon named the price he was offering, smiling as he did so. Once again, it was a twenty-five percent discount. Whether the reason was being a fellow future Guild member(just like before), or just because she was his girlfriend, she didn't know which one of the two it was. Of course, it could have easily been both. Either way, it was very sweet of him. "Another discount? Alex, you really don't have to keep doing this for me, but thanks, that's very sweet of you." She paid for the item, and then she left the shop. Surely, at least for a while, what she just bought could be helpful in a fight,
  20. Krysta would notice what Kanari had said. "In a relationship? Yes." The expressions on Vigilon's and Kanari's faces told Krysta something that brought a potential problem. Based on the situation...there was a chance that Kanari liked Vigilon...and he had just now realized it. Krysta's calm demeanor broke, being replaced by concern. Yinangi called out for Vigilon to kiss Krysta back, which he did. Krysta tried to focus on the positives, but other than her relationship with Vigilon, they were starting to dwindle... Vigilon would ask Krysta if she thought they should see what the merchant across
  21. Krysta smiled when Vigilon came over to her. He complimented on her appearance, then he asked what she needed him for. To answer, she would simply kiss him. If Vigilon got confused, she would simply point above the two players' heads, where a mistletoe was hanging. "I just knew you'd come to me, whether you knew about the mistletoe or not. It's good to see you here on this wonderful time of year, Alex." She looked over to the other players, and saw two who she recognized. Kanari and Fae. The conversation seemed completely normal, so was Vigilon proven wrong, was this a facade, or did Fae have
  22. Krysta loved this wonderful time of year...but if only she had any family to spend it with... Memories of both sides of her family drifted throughout her mind, reminding her of all who she had lost, including one she had lost in this game... "I will avenge you, Leif, no matter what it takes... I will vanquish the one responsible for your death one day..." Why was it now that she must take a wistful walk down memory lane? She wondered if most of Aincrad's players had a shattered past, being trapped in this game, unable to return to their families or lives. Will the holidays ever be the same? Al
  23. With the Tournament fast approaching, Krysta looked throughout various shops, hoping to find something that may help her with combat against other players. Having nowhere else to turn at one point, she decided to go to her boyfriend's shop to see what he had up in stock. When she arrived, she looked throughout what was available, while Yolviinsil would take flight to find Veriost. "There must be something... Oh? What's this?" She found a shield made from white metal that was lined with silver. It was of elegant design, and Krysta began to think about whether or not she could use it. "I'm no ta
  24. With the possible tournament coming up, I'm wondering what I should do for a third enhanced item, since a +3 LD Necklace wouldn't do any good in such a situation. Right now, I'm thinking of either a necklace that has Accuracy and/or Evasion enhancements, or a shield with one mitigation slot, and two thorns slots.

    1. Baldur

      Baldur

Evasion is always good in duels, because at least you won't just give them a free hit. Most people come in with 2-3 accuracy, so that means a 30% miss change to a 60% miss change if you take the EVA. That's better than MIT

...this currently seems a bit one-sided...anyone else have something to say on this before I make my decision?

I've got a perfect shield or two in my shop's stock if you happen to chose that...not that it's currently helping you right now, I'm just letting you know, just in case.
