  1. As the child lie there in the arms of a stranger, she couldn't help but cry more. She used to think she was a strong person but now this world was nothing other than a whirlwind of pain and suffering revolving around her head. Listening to her attempt at comforting words, Assassin would quietly sit there in her wallowing. "I don't want to die... I want to feel strong again... They won't leave me alone and I can't find Nee-chan... She disappeared..." The girl would whisper to herself. "They want to kill me and I keeping running and hiding. They keep finding me." She would add. "They won't
  2. The girl continue to lay on the ground, no commitment to make any movement for any reason. Hyou was visibly tense, obviously on edge of a stranger touching her immobilized master. Bright green eyes peered at her, no emotion beyond a saddened, blank expression. "Does it really matter?" She asked. "Even if I remove the blade and try to fight. I'm going to die. They won't leave me alone. Nee-chan isn't here to help me. No one cares about a lonely orphan child, so why should I care about her too." Her words were as sharp as her dagger. That considered, the girl tried to roll to the side but h
  3. As the child lay there helpless in the cold embrace of piling snow, she could do nothing but sit with her thoughts while the paralysis ran it's course. Hyou, the massive leopard that weighed more than herself, would do her best to keep her master warm until then. It wasn't long before she heard a voice: A woman, one she didn't recognize. The familiar stood up instantly and growled at the encroaching on her masters space. Assassin would speak up. "Hyou, quit it." The girl would say. The familiar looked upon her master then back to her query before giving up on it. However, it was clear tha
  4. Cold. An empty vessel ripped of flesh and given temporary existence in this digital nightmare. One who could not even understand their plight even if they attempted it. Nothing but a lost and forgotten child, a premade headstone in a graveyard of living corpses. Depression had sundered this soul's living body. All that awaited her was the promise of oblivion. Once a challenger of this brutal hell, nothing was left in Assassin. The child had lost everything she cared about: Her sister and friends. The only one that remained with her was Hyou. The white leopard was quiet as her master in

  6. Again and again her blade sank into the skin of Risque, doing virtually nothing if the affects of phase wouldn't proc. Assassin's blood was curdling. Nothing ticked her off more than this person, this monster. She wanted him gone. She wanted him to leave Nee-san alone. Suddenly, she was grabbed and thrown to the ground by her hair. As strands of her lost locks litter her face, Assassin watches the blade sting her chest slightly with every thrust into her body. There's no pain when even on the verge of dying. Curling in her vulnerable state, the orphan wants to reach and nail his foot to t
  7. With her arm ripped asunder, Assassin's eyes grew wide. The pain was non-existent. An entire arm removed from her body and it felt no worse than getting pinched. She turned just in time to watch her appendage flail against the ground and her dagger plink against stone. Nothing could have been worse than the words he spoke, though. Losing an arm was nowhere near as rage inducing has just hearing Risque's stupid voice. "'Pretend family'?" She repeated under her breath, scooping up her weapon. If there was one thing Assassin was good at, it was playing pretend. She would know if her love for
  8. Assassin moved to dodge the strike, unknowing that it wasn't even meant for her. Risque's blade had plunged straight for her sister. Nothing woke her senses more than that. Hidden fell to the floor falling victim of the venom of the snake that was his familiar. I quick blur rusted through the door in the moment, a massive leopard cub. "Ryou, fetch!" She called out as she herself rushed the man who dared fuck with her sister. Still assuming her guise of her sister at this point, Assassin's white clothing frolicked behind her. The darkened blade slashed through the back of her opposer. "If you t
  9. As the fight went on, the child felt the energy leaving her body, but she couldn't just allow herself to fall asleep in this situation. Hidden would hate her for that. Slowly, she would sit up, looking at the chains holding her down. Which ever one on her hands looked weaker, she would place bother feet against and push as hard as possible with her back against the wall. The moment it broke free, she would open her menu and pull out her teleportation crystal. "Floor Thirteen: Angel's Point!" She called out and with a whir of colors, she was gone from the battlefield. The iron clasps that
  10. Assassin struggled with the chains attaching her limbs to the wall. After several seconds of flailing and trying to break them, she resigned to the fact that she wasn't going to break free. Not only were they too durable, but she was too tired to even come close to getting them off. With her energy completely depleted, the child collapsed on the ground with a soft thud. Her rasped breathing could be heard between the song of singing steel. Witnessing the battle was difficult as she was continuously phasing between total awareness and her brain just completely shutting down, Assassin laid
  11. Assassin's body was starting to calm down enough to fall into slumber. With everything happening, the fatigue she felt was hardly noticeable. The moment that she was chained down to a wall and unable to move, she realized just how worn out she was. Just as she was about to drift off though, the sound of clashing steel and fighting woke her into alertness. "N-Nee-san?!" The girl said, sitting up slowly with blurred vision. She could barely lift herself up. "Nee-san, help me.. I'm strapped down and lost my dagger... I'm sorry, I got captured..." The girl apologized, tears starting to well i
  12. Assassin was unable to move for the entirety of the trip. The paralysis lasted so much longer than she thought it would. The moment she had the chance to break free she would. Though before she even had the chance to, they would get her into their hiding spot and toss her onto the floor. She groaned as she collided with the ground coughing as dirt entered her nostrils. Her eyes looked at the remaining time of the status. Before she had the time to react, the man would get her chained to the wall. The stun would wear and Assassin would snarl at the man before collecting all the saliva in h
  13. The Assassin climbed over the the cliff and onto her feet. Things were starting to get really crazy. This wasn't just some event. Did the players take took long to finish the game and Kayaba decided to end their misery in this digital world? Was the sweet release of death a better alternative than living here? Yes. Without a doubt, she would live. If she didn't live, Nee-san would be really upset. She didn't even want to think of what she would go through without Assassin here to keep her happy. Most likely comparable to if Hidden didn't make it out alive, is how she would feel. Look
  14. Floor seven was so boring compared to the rest of the floors like it. Just another big green forest, only with a few less trees and more hills and mountains. This made it a really good place for Assassin to train her vertical movement. Climbing was difficult to do fast, so the only way she could get better at it was to practice with a little bit of rock scaling. As she made her way up the side of the mountain, she could see the dark clouds rolling in. Storms weren't very prevalent in Aincrad, or she just didn't spend a lot of time on floors where it was pretty much always raining, but somethin
  15. Almost done with everything she needed for the event, Assassin headed in to last shop that she would need to visit before she found a group to engage with. She hated having to go to the tenth floor just to do this but Nee-san was going there to get stronger. She would need to start doing it herself if she wanted to be strong enough to protect herself. Walking over to the shelfs, she pulls the items she needs down and takes them to the counter, laying the designated col down for the shopkeeper and nodding to her before taking her leave.
  16. "Oh, there it is." Assassin said, getting the sack of Col off the counter and over to Bistro. A trade for each item was set up and confirmed by both parties. "500 Col on the dot, that was all I really needed since the other shop keeper couldn't get me the thing I needed. Important quest stuff, y'know?" Packing up the item in her inventory, the Assassin turned to the doors and opened up before saying "Thanks potion-lady!" And running down the street towards her next location. She had gotten almost everything she needed, just two more items to go.
  17. Assassin walked into the store. The one on floor 10 was unable to give her a Spyglass, but at least she had the teleportation crystal she needed. This time she made sure that this one was a high enough rank to sell her the item she needed. Walking in she was greeted by the smell of smoke and two young girls likely around her age, if not younger. "Hi there!" Said the pink haired one with a sweet smile. "Welcome to the The Black Odyssey, what can we help you with today?" Said the second one, off to the side, she could see the older woman, who was an actual player, smoking from her ende
  18. Surprised to find out that her friend Snow was actually a cook, Assassin hurried along to her shop through the cold of floor four and swung open the door, greeted with the face of the blonde. "Tank-lady!!" She yelled out over the chime of the brass bell. "I didn't know that you actually took to making buffed food! Since that's the case, I want to buy some of the luck food off of you. I need them for an important quest that I am going to do on my own. Ooh, fortune cookies!" The girl looked at them all, just happening to be the item she needed. Looking at the price, she passed the necessary
  19. Another stop to getting the thing that she needed. Some dumb liquid that would help her find the thing or whatever. She couldn't buy it from the dude on the 10th floor so she would have to find an alchemist instead. She walked into the Cintamani shop and walked up the counter, hoping again that the shop owner wouldn't call her cute and ask where her parents were. "Excuse me, lady, but can I get the item on this list please." She asked handing over the terribly scrawled note to Bistro and the Col necessary for the purchase. Needed for quest and other stuffs
  20. Walking into the Shop, the Assassin took a look around for what she needed. Wandering around by herself always got those reactions like she was a lost child so she hoped the keep would serve her. After a moment of looking around, she gave up and turned to him. "Hey, mister. I'm looking for a few items I need to help me out with a quest. You have anything on this list?" She asked passing him a piece of paper with barely legible items scrawled on it. Needed for quest and other stuffs -Teleportation Crystal -Spyglass Gotta find
