  1. A more perceptive individual could have picked up on Blueberry's feelings about taking a life. Kura was not that perceptive individual, taking the compliment after Blueberry's whisper at face value with a nod. "Mm. Thank you for backing me up as well." Once the conversation moved onto the topic of the frying pan and Blueberry's synonym, of course what Kura would take out of that interaction was the food analogy. He had always wondered whether or not the item drop from the Nepent Variant was edible, but he had never been hungry enough to try it. With those sort of thoughts dominating
  2. Blueberry may not have liked to kill things, but Kura had no such moral qualms about hitting things until they stopped moving. He would give a simple nod to Blueberry's command, and throw himself at the Nepent Variant. The vines lashed out once more in a last moment of defiance, which were then smashed away without remorse. His blow wouldn't be blocked away this time. Hefting his weapon, he slammed the field boss in the chest. With one final groan, the boss shattered into pixels of light. Dismissing the prompt for loot immediately, Kura would quietly survey the area to make sure there wer
  3. Kura was expecting to continue be pressed back by the Nepent Variant's onslaught, not for it to unceremoniously fall face first onto the ground. Whatever Blueberry did, it was damn well effective, with the frying pan knocking the poor creature out cold for a few moments. Not wanting for this opportunity to slip past, he slammed his war hammer into the prone Nepent Variant. Backing away as well to her side, he took a moment to respond to Blueberry's reply to his comment about annoyance. "I'm rooting for you, do your best in all that you do." The joking tone of her words completely fle
  4. Kura would think about said good times, which were basically similar to Blueberry's roommate situation where he would stay up long hours to grind on his MMO, or pouring over his textbooks. Boring to everyone else, the peaks of his life in Kura's opinion. Putting aside about what that says about his psyche, Kura would simply shrug in response to the first part of Blueberry's reply, believing they had different tastes in fun. He took the tap on the back as the signal to go, but before he did looked back with a curious expression when he heard Blueberry's words when he was being pushed.
  5. Hearing the foot steps behind him, Kura assumed it was just another player making their way through the town. What he was not prepared was for Blueberry to leap from the shadows in front of him. He was luckily able to stop in time before he barreled into her, and more importantly kept his coffee from spilling. While most would be surprised by Blueberry's sudden appearance, Kura instead focused on the more pressing concern of her calling out his taste in beverages. "The taste reminds me of good times is all, I'll be the first to admit that it isn't exactly the most pleasant of drinks. Also
  6. Kura meandered through the city of the first floor with another cup coffee in hand. It was another beautiful morning, and because of that he was feeling a little nostalgic. It's been days since he's farmed on this floor, and while not a long time for most, it felt strange to him. He's been farming this floor every day for years now, so to leave it for such a extended period of time made him miss the place. But now he was revisiting his old stomping grounds, and maybe going for a boar or something along the way. The wind gently rolled over his skin, as if welcoming him back from his tribul
  7. It had been awhile since Kura grinded on the first floor, as he's been stretching his wings in order to finder more fertile ground for his farming expeditions. But whether due to a sense of nostalgia, or simply because he's had a little too much excitement recently, Kura would be roaming the plains outside of the Town of Beginnings. Thats when he saw Daemien once more, hidden behind a few inconspicuous hills. Kura would give a wave to the cook, and once more go through the process of purchasing more foods for his journey. From his exploits on other floors he had money to spare, and s
  8. Meandering around the second floor this time, Kura would spot out Damein in one of the crevices of the mountain. He was slowly becoming a regular, at least, as much as a regular he could be with how often Damein moved around. Waving to the cook, he would go and solely focus on a certain item, "Macaron"s. Not because they were his favorite, though they tasted pretty good in Kura's opinion. Instead it was it's affect on crafting. With only materials to spend, and those materials being gifted to him in order to further his profession, it felt wrong to him to spend it on anything else that wo
  9. Kura was becoming a regular at this rate, going towards the Cintamani at the end of the day to restock on supplies. Looking through his inventory, he did some rudimentary math and found that he didn't have enough to purchase to get a coffee alongside his crafting supplies. His priority was his performer profession currently so of course he would sacrifice the drink, however that didn't stop him longing for some caffeine. Making it to the cafe cum potion shop, he would enter into the store and immediately head towards the shelf that contained the "Dragon's Breath". Then he would go through
  10. Meandering through the mountainous terrain of floor 2 was a new experience for Kura. Running into Damien was not, however it was no less pleasant. Finding him in some random nook away from the beaten path, Kura would approach him with a wave. "Your food tasted good last time, mind if I buy more?" Perhaps to others it tasted bland, but with Kura who normally subsisted on a diet of porridge and cheap liquor, Damiens food was top class. He would happily go through the motions of purchasing things that once more caught his eye, as well as a few of his favorites from last time. And with
  11. After another day of grinding, Kura was walking through the Town of Beginnings, the sun setting behind him. It was an exciting day with him dipping his toes in higher floors. However, that mattered little to him currently. No, right now he looked to make good on the promise he made himself after his first purchase at the Cintamani. And as soon as he stepped inside again he caught the aroma of his desire. "Coffee." Coffee indeed. It was late in the afternoon, no time to be having any caffeine of any sort. Kura didn't care. Going through the motions, he purchased a few drinks that caug
  12. Rare was the day that Kura wouldn't already be farming in the fields of the first floor in the morning, and even rarer was the fact that he had no plans whatsoever to grind. He planned for today to be about working on his profession, but after going out for almost everyday to grind, it felt strange to not at least greet the morning sun. And so he was taking a casual walk around town. The main street was a refreshing sight to him as well, sticking to the slums more often than not. There were plenty of shops and players he had never seen before peaking his curiosity, including the Cintamani

  14. One right turn and still shady alley way later, Kura was right where he wanted to be. Instead of being lost like last time, Kura was purposely seeking out The Evening Star this time. It was a combination of a whim, a desire to spend his newly acquired gains, and lack of hesitation in fulfilling both that led to that same glass door. "Hello again" Kura would say as he stepped inside the building. And once more two items looked interesting to Kura, and so he began again going through the process of purchasing the items, this time it was the "Small Konpeito Sack" and the "Platinum Shard".
  15. Another day of farming on the first floor for a living. Kura wandered casually through the forests of Aincrad. While farming may be tedious to most, it was something he took pleasure. He admittedly disliked the lack of food in his stomach however. Forgetting to pack lunch wasn’t exactly planned, but like the other times he did so he would power through it. At least until he stumbled into a campsite where a cook had set up. Kura did not question why there was a chef randomly set up in this area, nor the logistics of both protecting the camp site from wild mobs while cooking. Holding
  16. One wrong turn and a shady alleyway later, Kura was lost. He was attempting to go to his favorite restaurant, a seedy place that few players (and by few he meant himself) frequented, and found himself on a row of shops hidden from the main street. Initially he tried going to the “Oscar’s Hotdog Stand”, but as it was temporarily closed, his eyes drifted towards “The Evening Star”. The door opened as Kura stepped inside, hunger forgotten as curiosity settled in. If NIGHT would curtly greet him, he would give a "Hello" back. By all accounts her sharp expression should have unsettled Kura, bu
