She was born into an average family as the youngest of three children. Doing any- and everything she could to stand out, Luna was labeled a 'wild child', always very outspoken and adventurous in order to get attention. Throughout her elementary days the girl practically thought herself invincible; there was no hill she couldn't climb, no dare she wasn't willing to take in order to show off to her classmates. She often found it much easier to draw attention to herself at school than fighting for her parents' limited time. As a result, she tended to get herself into more trouble than anything, becoming very familiar with the principal's office in her middle school years. Once the girl reached high school, however, her personality seemed to completely change. She took a much larger interest in getting people to like her, rather than getting them to look at her. She got incredibly skilled at using her words to get what she wanted and usually managed to sneak her way onto people's good sides no matter the situation. She quickly became known as a "popular" girl, and her reckless nature went out the window with her new strategies. Instead Luna preferred to take better care of herself; keep her face pretty and her words prettier, and she could worm her way out of almost anything. After graduating with barely-passing grades, Luna continued to college by default in order to put off 'real' adulthood as long as possible. She wasn't all that into video games; her real hobbies were mainly fashion and music. The buzz of the newest VR game, however, was the talk of practically the entire world it seemed, so it wasn't odd that the girl caught wind of it. Naturally, after she heard a million and one good things about the game Luna decided on a whim that she wanted to play it. After thoroughly abusing several connections the girl was able to get her hands on a copy of the game and the necessary hardware. Personality Luna's gone from being a rowdy, down-and-dirty tomboy to self-absorbed smooth-talker in her short life. Currently settled into the latter, Luna's goals are always determined by what she wants most at a certain point in time. She's very self-centered, and some would call the methods she uses to get what she wants 'wrong' or 'underhanded'. Despite all that, Luna puts up quite a front. She never lets anyone see her true nature, no matter what the reason. Virtues: Quick-Witted: Working alongside her silver tongue is a sharp, sarcastic mind. Luna always seems to know the right thing to say in almost any situation, whether it's to lighten a heavy mood or to hand someone a backpack and send them on a guilt trip. It's near impossible to leave the girl speechless. In fact, when she's in a good mood, Luna's likely to be the life of a party. Easy-Going: Luna nearly always has a grin on her face with a carefree attitude when she's around others. She typically shrugs off anything that troubles her, including other people's feelings. She doesn't take most things seriously, which has also done plenty to get her in trouble. Despite that, Luna believes that taking it easy is very important and even though she tends to overdo it most of the time, some people have found her laid back attitude to be refreshing. Charming: Whether it's to get something she wants or just to have fun, Luna enjoys getting people to like her. Since she became a teenager it's become less of a habit and more of a necessity for her to be well-received by others. She's incredibly outgoing and not afraid to start a conversation. The way she goes about winning people over varies depending on who she's interacting with, but she typically defaults to a flirtatious charm. Flaws: Deceptive: Because she's not afraid of lying or sweet-talking to get what she wants, Luna's truths are hard to discern from her lies. Despite putting so much effort to get others to like her, Luna always keeps her true self at a good distance. She's very aloof when it comes to herself and personal matters. As a result, people find it hard to connect with her, though that doesn't seem to bother her in the slightest. Distrusting: In the same way that people may not trust her, Luna would never place her complete trust in another person. She'll look out for only herself, and be the only one to look out for herself, and she's perfectly fine with that. She doesn't lean on others or share her burdens. In fact, any 'friendships' she makes tend to stay very shallow, and she doesn't usually take extended interest in a single person. Vain: Keeping up on appearances has become more and more important to Luna as the years have passed. She learned quickly through adolescence that good looks could work miracles for her. As a result, she doesn't like doing anything that would compromise her appearance. In great contrast to the rough child she used to be, Luna comes off as a bit 'dainty' in this way, though others wouldn't hesitate to use the word 'conceited'.
