He will fight to uphold this ideal. Swears to be the opposite of those he was raised around, helping and protecting anyone he thinks needs it. Affable - He is seen as friendly, and is quite easy to talk to. People find themselves talking to him about things that they won't even tell there family. He subconsciously uses this to get people to befriend him quickly since he knows that he won't be there long. Nurturing - He is unusually caring for children and childlike people. After being used as a babysitter/parent for so long, he can't help himself. Anyone he sees as a child; physically, mentally, or emotionally, he tends to take under his wing, helping them as best he can. Flaws: Detached - Doesn't take things as he should. Doesn't see death as a bad thing; rather as an inevitable end, but will still fight to live. Doesn't see people as "friends", rather as people he can use to fight, protect, or simply pass the time. Soft Hearted - After taking care of kids for so long, he developed a soft spot for children and other helpless things. Because of this, he tends to be thought of as a push over, but he quickly fixes anyone who who mentions it. His soft spot doesn't protect those who would take advantage of, or prey on, others. Aimless - Having been through most that life has to offer, he didn't know what to do next. He tried multiple jobs and hobbies, but nothing struck his fancy. So now he plods through life taking solace in his video games and wondering what to do next. History: Blaise moved around a lot as a child, never living in one place for long, because of his father's job. He rarely really got to know people, since he couldn't be with them for long; so he gradually stopped trying to make friends, and simply used them to pass the time when he couldn't be on his computer. And the people he did get to know were of a less savory character, so he swore to never be like them, purposely seeking out those in his schools and neighborhoods that were shunned or picked on by others, protecting and befriending them. He acted as a student counselor in high school, helping students who were to afraid to go to a teacher or counselor for help, they came to him because they saw him as someone like them. Someone who would understand and was easy to talk to. After school, he moved to a different state to help his brother and sister-in-law take care of his dying grandmother. She passed away a few months after he arrived there. After her death, he moved in with his brother and worked as a babysitter for his two infant nephews, in exchange for room and board. His brother and sister-in-law took advantage of this and took longer hours and late shifts to make more money. With their schedules, they were gone most of the day, and part of the night, leaving Blaise to take care of the kids. After a few months of this, Blaise became more of a parent to the kids than their actual parents. He didn't mind though, being with his nephews made it all worth it. Then one night, Blaise and his brother got in a big fight, and the next day Blaise moved out. Soon after his brother and sister-in-law moved to Tennessee to live near the sister-in-law's family. Blaise moved in with his aunt who lived in the next county and, not knowing what to do with his life, decided to go to a tech school nearby. It would allow him to learn a valuable trade and always have a good job available. Unfortunately, the people in his classes were not easy for him to get along with, causing him to sink deeper into his old habit of binge playing computer games. Then he found a new, interesting game.
