He had grown used to their important debates taking requiring intermissions, but he couldn't completely hide the fact that he much preferred to settle matters in the same session of discussion. It was simply another way that their methods differed. "Alright...I suppose this matter won't be settled today anyway..." He said, knowing that there was nothing to be gained by trying to force a conversation Shield did not want to have. Beat stomach rumbled as they cleared the treeline and their house came into view. Horus's cry echoed throughout the canyon surrounding their home and Beat's mind moved on to lighter matters, like what he would make for dinner. "Hmmm okay...stir fry or boar stew? I've got the ingredients for both!"
