Sword Art <<All Might>> (17 Energy Used / 1 Recovered / 104 Remaining)

As the final dark elf seemed to regain her resolve, choosing to continue fighting, Calrex felt a small smirk come across his concealed face for a brief moment. The AI's choice made their decisions simple, and seemed to remove the complications that were previously introduced into the battle. They were frontliners after all, and that meant there was only one choice when it came to floor raids.

The other players took their opportunities to act, each one performing their role as the seconds passed. At the same time the bluenette placed his fists together for a moment as his eyes locked onto Evahira's form, lowering his avatar into the position to trigger <<All Might>> once again. His target locked his right arm began to glow bright blue like before as the Sword Art charged up. "With that there's no place for the exchange of words anymore. Whether AI or person, if our opponent chooses to fight to the last breath, then it is only right that we let them dedicate their entire focus to doing so."

His body became controlled by the assisted system as he pulled him forward like a slingshot, streaking across the battlefield until he was right on top of the tank boss AI, right fist drawn back. With a full body twist he drive his shoulder and arm forward with all of his weight behind the punch as it shot straight into the left side of Evahira's face. The momentum after the attack brought his back leg forward as his weight shifted before the energy faded.

With his attack finished the Ultramarine Knight looked at their opponent, giving a mere nod of acknowledgement to the dark elf's decision before taking a few steps back, ready to attack again should the battle come around once more.

At this point, there was nothing more he could do. He had no energy left, he couldn't even manage another attack. He could feel it, the need to just... sit down. It was nearly over. He knew he wasn't getting the final hit, or any reward. Though... He didn't mind. He had his gloves, his cursed gloves, and his guild. He didn't need other rewards. He simply sat back, watching everyone rush into the fight, dealing as much damage as they could to end the fight as soon as possible. He wished he could help them, just get this over with. He didn't even know if he wanted to come back into the frontlines... Not with how this whole fiasco had gone. His first battle, and he had to tackle another player. He looked over at Pinball, who he had watched attack another player. He was.... more than a little pissed off at him. Later... they would be having a serious.... a serious talk.

The final boss's HP would begin decrease more and more, leaving it up to her group to finally finish it off. Grasping her dagger,a  smile would come to her face. 'Finally, I can get out of being in the same room with these idiots'. Her orange dagger would flash before she would spin, striking her weapon across the body of Evahira several times. As she finished, she moved away. Either she, or another player would be finishing it. Moving away quickly, despite whatever would end up happening she would move away from the group, moving into the shadows to wait for the door to open to the next floor. She would be darting through it as fast as she possibly could. Many other players were beginning to put away their arms as well. She didn't care, she really only liked two of the players in the room. The rest... they could vanish for all she cared. She wished Sey attended boss... No she didn't. Sey didn't like the idea of her joining boss fights, but she always argued that she wanted the best equipment possible. Also, if the equipment didn't suit you, you could always sell or trade it for something more worth your while.

This was it. His group, this group right here would be the ones to finish it off. The bosses health was low, and his group had a high amount of DPS with high damage counts. He had a gut feeling about it, and he felt that he had a chance to finally get the last hit. He charged forward, calculating his mark and finding a point past her shield, the shield catching some of the blows, but he was able to sneak behind and.stab her through the side into her heart. She did her best to block his attack, but Hikoru pushed forward, screaming as he did. His calm, cool and collected persona disappearing in an instant. All there was left was a man- no, a child fighting for his life, fighting for freedom. He had a role to play in the lives of everyone in that room, and he felt that on his shoulders. With a triumphant yell, he landed his final stroke of his Sword art as the red gash appeared in his place. He stood in front of her proud, his breath heavy as he looked her in the eyes.

"Take this as a warning. To you and all your friends. Never, stand in the way of the Frontlines. We will cut you down, we will defeat every one of you, and Kayaba, I know your listening. We will best this game. And you will know who we are." He spoke aloud, his voice carrying throughout the room. With a final kick, he pushed off of Evahira, and approached his group once more.

Pinball hadn't taken the hostility well, but didn't openly say much. Who do they think they are, the bastards? He had glared at the both of them, and set his jaw, not breaking eye contact until it would've been weird to continue. Then, tapping his spear harshly against the stone floor, he had whirled around, stomping off and seething. Have something coming, my ass, he had ranted to himself, I'd like to see 'em try. He then proceeded to pace back and forth for the next minute or so, and the fight had raged on.
He finally snapped back to attention a bit later, his anger fading but his distaste for the whole situation lingering bitterly. His feelings aside, though, when Pinball started to pay attention, he realized that there was only one of the council members left. Pinball nearly jumped in place, he was so startled. How did time pass him by? Pinball glanced over to Stryder, who was glaring daggers at him. Pinball gave him an angry shrug. "Fine, whatever," he grumbled to himself, running toward Evahira, "you want me to help. Just get me out of this bastard place." And he unleashed Dimension Stampede on the sole survivor.

Zandra saw that the tank was almost dead. She looked from side to side. She had got a screenshot with Isaxi, would she be able to get this beuty too. You only know after you have tried. Zandra preapedred her explode catapult before activating it, charging towards Evahira. Her axe flew across the armoured elf, leaving red stripes across her body. Then Zandra turned 180 degrees and looked at the frontlienrs. She moved her head close to Evahira. ‘’Smile.’’ She said and took another screenshot. ‘’Thank you Eva, I wont bother you again.’’ She backed away from the tank that Zandra now had a picture of in her picture folder. She would name this one Evahira and Zandra. I would probably be worth a lot of col in the future. So she would be able to sell the only selfies of Evahira and Isaxi. She smirked as she thought about what price to take for it.

The fist of a heavy gauntlet crashing into her cheek. A dagger slashing across the front of her breastplate, followed by a spear to pierce her through. Evahira looked only half-present when the girl with the axe turned to face her comrades, striking a pose beside her. She weathered as many blows as she could, but even she couldn't hold out forever. Not against the small army that stared her down. She let out a gasp when Hikoru's blade drove through her armor in between her shoulderblades, the dagger's tip jutting out of her chest. When he turned to face her, Evahira's heavy breaths almost synced with his. She absored his words, her brows narrowed as if she was trying to understand them. And then the traces of pain and exhaustion pulled away from her face. She stood her ground. Despite all the wounds that covered her body, her demeanor shifted and she was suddenly unphased in a jarring transition. The corner of her mouth pulled up in a simple smile, and a glint of amusement shone in her eyes for Hikoru to see. In a hushed voice, barely audible beside his triumphant exclamation that rang off the walls, the avatar spoke calmly, almost tauntingly, in Evahira's voice.

"Best of luck to you, Master of Shadows."

The moment she was forced away, everything snapped back to normal. Such a brief moment of abnormality, it would hardly be recognizable. Evahira lurched backwards, her fists clenched and a cry of pain bouncing off of the columns in the large chamber. Her health continued to plummet, and her form gave off a soft golden glow in the centimeters that drained the last of it. "Alright, no backing out now..." The Paladin dropped both her mace and shield, each hitting the floor with a clang as she shook her hands in front of her as one would to loosen themselves up in preparation. She gave a quick look over her shoulder to the Queen's remains, her skeletal form half-chained to the wall, and smiled softly. The light pouring from her grew brighter and Evahira suddenly buckled under an invisible weight, dropping to her knees and letting out another scream. The ground beneath her cracked and wild, golden tendrils shot out in all directions. Energy itself seemed to whip around in the air, kicking up dust that would circle the room.

Seconds later, the outburst came to an end. Evahira collapsed, her heavy armor clattering against the stone. After a moment of stillness her avatar flickered and promptly shattered into the familiar death animation of hundred of shards of light that turned to pixels and washed away. Simultaneously, a dialog window appeared in front of each player to information them of the spoils of battle they'd won.

Quite likely interrupting the frontliners' reprieve, another golden light appeared in the chamber. What was left of the Dark Elven Queen was engulfed by an even brighter glow, a nearly blinding pulse of light persisted for several seconds. When it finally faded, a new figure was slumped over in its place. In the same tattered violet garments, with one wrist shackled to the wall above her head, Queen Lun'Rael half-stood, her shoulders rising and falling with slow, shallow breaths.

Her head slowly lifted, the spinning yellow cursor that hovered over it shifting along with her. Her eyes fluttered open and a small groan escaped her lips. "H-heavens, above..." She murmured in a cracked, strained voice. "What--what could have...?"

Watching the death of the brave paladin before my eyes i bow my head in respect for the fallen warrior as i close my eyes for the briefest of moments with that quickly being interrupted by the sounds of a new voice entering the chamber acting out of instinct more so than anything else. I take out my sword ready to cut the figure as i only see a scared woman chained towards the wall where the corpse was that got dropped from Hirru cutting the chains. Wait...the floor is over. ANd we get the original queen back....Eva you are the truest example of a true warrior and soldier towards queen and country. I can only hope that i may one day reach the same heights of bravery, honor, and feats as great as yours within my time in this game. A role model for supports to follow. She might've made mistakes...horrible ones like the whole council. That is just human nature we all do things we think are good and for the betterment of others and we stumble and fall. It just matters what we do when given a chance to correct ourselves. I say softly as a bit of tears threaten to spill as i hold them back as i slowly make my way forward towards the chained queen with my sword in hand and shield in the other while wearing my armor i make my way towards her. My familiar walking right by my side the lion with fur as white as the snow and wings as black as the night right at my side.

When i would reach the woman i would kneel down to meet her eyes as i raise my sword charging up my strongest sword art and quickly cut away the binds that hold the queen to the wall of this cursed council room. Opening my inventory i take out a water canister filled with water as i move it towards the queen entirely wiling to waste an item if need be as i raise it towards her with a gentle look within my blue colored eyes. It's okay ma'am you're back have some water if you need it. I say in a gentle and soft tone of voice towards what is most likely a scared, confused, and most likely starving or something woman who had just come back from death. You've been gone for a long time, but you're back now and your people are awaiting their queen's return.

With his team's final series of attacks it seemed the battle had concluded, with Evahira's form dissipating in a seemingly more spectacular fashion than other AIs normally would. Their final target eliminated Calrex kept his arms up for a brief moment before he gave a small sigh, lowering them back to his sides. "Another raid completed, another floor hopefully unlocked. At this point there's no reason for me to remain, although I guess at the same time I'm not really feeling up for any more NPC interaction right now. This battle really was a mess..."

Looking over as the Queen regained her original form the bluenette's eyes lingered for a brief moment before closing them calmly, looking towards the other raid team members. His gaze beneath the expressionless helm of the Grand Chariot III paused on each of them for a few seconds, finishing with a small nod before he walked over to @Baldur, giving him a pat on the shoulder before heading towards the staircase leading upwards, "I'll be taking my leave. Feel free to let me know if you guys find out anything of interest from the NPC."

Pulling down his menu brief flashes of light engulfed his form as he changed back to his casual combat appearance, his face only being revealed once it was out of view from the others as he made his way over to the 24th floor exit. Without turning around he raised an open hand, addressing the group once more before he made his exit with a seemingly weary tone, "Be seeing you all at the next one..."

As the Evahira would fall, an uncomfortable smile would come to Jonathan's face. He looked to the frontliners, sighing. Too much had happened in this boss fight, and he wanted to forget it. He had failed his duty and caused half of it. Light would begin to emit from the ground, shaking it. Sheathing his weapon, Jonathan would go into a crouch, to prevent his clumsy self from falling. As it stooped, he would stand, gawking at a new life form appearing in the room. This AI of course didn't bear the red cursor of a monster and boss, but instead a yellow cursor of an NPC. The boss fight was over, the fighting was over. He didn't care about the Queen. He wanted to be done with this floor, done with this game. Following Calrex out, he would look back at the players for a second. Back at Itzal. The man of course was mad at him. He wouldn't be able to speak with him for a while. "Oh, I'll just see him at the next Ascendants meeting... Nothing there can be as near as bad as here" That should be taking place soon anyway.

He would begin to walk up the stairs, moving towards the light of the next floor.

And just like that, Evahira was dead at the hands of Hikoru, and the boss fight was over. Pinball watched, uninterested as the Queen (at least, that's who he thought she was) appeared. He sighed. Grumpily swinging his spear across his shoulders and shoving his free hand into his pocket, he made his way to the exit: to Floor 24. He didn't care if anybody tried to stop him, or if anyone wanted to talk - he stared straight ahead, making a bee-line straight to that doorway. His worn and faded leather boots tapped gently against the stonework as he stormed off, a soft glare on his face. As he approached, Pinball stopped, turned around, and looked out at the gathering of people in front of him. Still a bit upset, and knowing he would probably regret it...
Pinball looked around for any sign of Aereth and Hidden. Even if they weren't looking.
And without a word, he stuck out his tongue, raised his hand, and flipped both of them off.
Then he whirled around, and with a short hop, left the room.
Guess it's time to explore for a bit, he decided, making sure he was going down a seperate path than anyone else who decided to do the same. He wouldn't seek out any real, recognizable landmark - or anything at all, really. He resigned himself to stumbling across things as he would.
Just enjoying the sights.

Baldur looked at the window that popped up to him.He had gotten a last hit on one of the bosses. The boss had dropped a package of dungeon maps. This is actually really useful for me. Baldur did not often grind, or at least, not as often as other players did, and these maps would let him maximize that effort, and they gave bonuses as well. He closed the window and then turned to the others. Calrex was already walking up to him to leave, and Hestia appeared to be talking to an NPC that appeared in the room from the skeleton of the Queen.

Interesting. A role-playing event from the boss fight? This puts a lot more in context.

What would the queen reveal, he wondered.

As @Calrex turned to go, Baldur caught his shoulder.

"Hey Cal, once this is all over, I want to get together and talk about what happened today. Keep an eye out from my message. We'll meet somewhere up on the next floor settlement."

Turning, Baldur made his way over to @Shield, "Hey, before you leave, we need to talk about what happened today, and going forward. I'll send you a message of where to meet on the floor above."

Baldur ignored the queen, and the loot they got, and made his way over to @Macradon, he was perhaps the most... impacted, of everyone by this boss fight.

"Hey, Macradon. If you've got the time... after a little bit of a rest, I'd like to get together with you, and discuss... things. Please, look out for my message and I'll let you know when and where."

Morgen had already left. Baldur searched around for the knight, but found that he was trailing after Calrex on his way out.

Turning, Baldur's steel blue eyes searched through the crowd, trying to pick out who else he needed to find. His eyes fell on @Hestia, talking to the Queen, but he was not going to get near that with a 10 foot pole.

The holes need to be plugged, and chains reforged.

He shook his head sadly, he didn't leave, but he remained apart. Watching. He wanted to hear what Hestia and the Queen would say, in case it gave any hints of what was to come.

Shield nodded in acknowledgement to Baldur, extending his customary congratulatory fist bump to the samurai as well as to Beat. "I have no intention of leaving just yet either," he said, gesturing towards the queen with a tilt of his head. "If she ends up being a quest giver, I don't want to miss out on this."

On his either side, there was Hirru. With the threats eliminated and the last health bar depleted, there was no longer any animosity that he felt. There was only an uncomfortableness. He did not understand how someone could take an NPC's side like that. He stepped closer to Hirru, dismissing his sword and shield so as to be clear of his benign intent. "@Hirru," he began, not sure what words to use in such a situation. Finally, he decided that a deeper, more complete exchange was the only thing that would do the trick. "I've considered you a friend for some time now. I don't want to see that change. But... we need to sort out what happened here, because we're not understanding one another." He laid a hand on his comrade's shoulder, hoping that it would be seen as compassion rather than condescension, and turned to the fallen queen.

He stepped closer, his still armored feet rattling loudly with each step as he closed in on the queen. He knelt down on the other side of her from Hestia, avoiding eye contact with the other player and instead addressing the queen directly. "The council that usurped your throne is gone now, except for Durares who fled. What do you intend from here?"

They were done, they were finally done with the shenanigans. Standing there, with what should be an applaud or cheers that they cleared the floor boss, what felt like an eternity of silence would fall upon the frontlines instead. Macradon looked down into the ground, sheathing his sword again and doffing his helmet, signalling for Belphegor to stop the hell flames again. Macradon began to grow impatient, it might’ve just been a few seconds, but for him, it was taking ages. Beginning to tap his foot and click his tongue in frustration, Macradon would tug the chains of Belphegor and go towards the entrance of the boss raid, he wasn’t going on scouting forwards anymore, it wasn’t his place to do, not after the disaster like this happened while he was adorned with the title of Raid Commander. He would clench his fist right before Baldur approached him. Looking over at the Gaijin Samurai, @Baldur, Macradon would try to hold his tears back, but his sorry excuse for a calm face looked like he was trying to hold a facade, a very bad one, that wouldn’t show that he was hurt in any way. Macradon nodded, not saying anything and left. As the sound of his steel clad boots made their exit, Macradon would scream out in agony as tears were running down his face “I am sorry everyone, I was a pathetic leader, and if only I were able to keep things in control, this train wreck wouldn’t have happened!” he yelled and began to ran out of the entrance, running all the way back home, all the way to the first floor, locking down his shop, his house, his room, his mind. Under the blanket with Belphegor besides him as he cried for hours without end. If only he was a better leader, this wouldn’t have happened, if only he had been a better guild member, Hirru wouldn’t have stepped so much out of line. If only he wasn’t there.

Ruby had taken a deep breath once the battle had been said and done, a lot had happened in this fight alone. Players turning against each other to save a kid... and just generally so quick for people to turn on one another. And it showed with Macradon's exit, Ruby had felt a little bad for the man as he had left the area, she had half a mind to try to talk to him but he was already too far before she could make the decision, Ruby had just grinned. Ruby had looked around the boss room and spotted Hestia in which she had immediately walked over to her and spoke out "Well, kind of a eventful day isn't it Hestie. But, I think our jobs aren't quite done yet. Don't you think?" she had moved closer to Hestia's ear and whispered to her "The labyrinth isn't going to find itself you know. How 'bout me and you head out and try to find what we can. We can bring other people if you want to bring along more."

And with a final volley, it was finally over.  The twenty third boss raid was done, but everything was not as it should be.  Due to the efforts of the hunter, the only thing he gained was contempt and shame.  He lost his friends and the reason to be part of the one thing that kept him in this world.  And how could this happen?  Because he decided that another beings life was more important than the raids goal: humanities freedom.  Why did everyone else not see what he could?  In the end, he could see that Evahira wasn't going to escape.  She had her conviction, which the hunter had thrown his own out.  He could learn a lesson from this..

The hunter had, by now, crumpled into himself.  He now sat with his left arm around his knees, which were hugged close to his chest, and his right kept close to his sword.  His eyes were now wide eyed and shifting wildly, though not entirely searching for anything.  His mind was going just as wild.  His thoughts were betraying him.  The hunter was scared.  He now had a target on him, a weakness exposed.  He could now be the hunted, and it was freaking him out more than ever.  He wanted to run, but his body wouldn't move.  It couldn't move.  Not from paralysis, but the fear.  There were plenty of people here that could turn everything on him.  Blade or word, it didn't matter.

He felt the approach of someone and heard the words of @Shield.  They wanted to talk, but the pat to his shoulder made the hunter visibly shiver from the touch.  Why would they say such things and still think of friendship?  Is this what their world is like?  What is wrong with their world?  Do they do this with each other; Kill to protect the values of one another?  Make friends afterword with those that are misunderstood?  Who will kill him for their values?

Macradon's apology and leaving didn't seem to get to him as it should.  Instead, it hurt him more.  He was the reason that it all went downhill.  Why it all became a bloodbath and infighting happened.  Everything was his fault..

..his sword hand grew closer to his blade.

Hikoru's shallow breaths calmed as he looked at the battlefield. They had won, and a small window had appeared, saying that they had won. His legs collapsed beneath him as he also got a second screen, saying that he had gotten the last drop from Evahira. But her words rang in his ears loudly, a shudder ran down his spine as he thought about it more and more. The AI, the creature that had been defeated by his hand, changed in an instant. He saw almost a smug look on the creature's lips as it uttered but a few words.

"Best of luck to you, Master of Shadows."

It was a simple sentence, but it spoke volumes. Kayaba, the man who he challenged with his call, recognized him, knew who he was. He did his best to not have a mental breakdown. In the heat of the moment, he said things that he meant yes, but things that seemed a bit big for someone his stature. And he was recognized, given the best of luck by the man who trapped him here. He couldn't tell anyone here, as there was already the situation of Hirru, and he heard Macradon behind him as he ran away. Things continued behind him, but he stared at the Queen, and the exit. He couldn't leave just yet. There was information to gather, and things he wanted to note everything that had just happened. But first things first. He opened up the menu where his armor was. Tier Three Heavy Armor with... He let out an audible gasp. Holy Blessing. An enchantment he had never gotten his hands on. He opened up his menu and unequipped his pendant, putting on the greaves as a pair of heavy greaves appeared on his legs. They were far heavier than anticipated, and he was unable to move with them on. He took a few minutes to stand, his feet heavy and tired from the fight. He stood tall, but was too focused on trying to keep his balance to note things around him. It was interesting, Heavy Armor. Definitely something he couldn't handle, but he wanted to study the Holy Blessing, maybe let some of the slimes hit him as he wore them. Decisions to make later, he noted to himself.

As soon as after she attacked, Evahira would burst into data shards, but not from her dagger. She watched as Hikoru would stop, being in close vicinity she could hear the words that she spoke to him. Eyes opening wide, she would look to the man after the boss shards faded. " @Hikoru, did she just..." Hey eyes would then scan the battle room. She had already caused enough drama when it came to this boss raid, but Hirru was gonna hear it and Pinball... he wasn't safe. She looked around the room, and found Pinball. Flipping her off. Her own dagger instinctively was flicked to become in her hand as she darted forward. As the floor would shake and glow however, she would stop chase. When it ended, Pinball was gone. "Well, he's gonna die. That's just how it's going to be" She would turn to her one last target for the night. She would walk up behind @Hirru who's hand was inching near his weapon. Kicking the blade so that it skidded away from him. Moving to the front so that he could see her she would begin speaking angrily with him. "So, tell me again. What's your blood oath? I solemnly swear that I will prevent Aincrad's progress" Sighing, he would turn away, beginning to walk towards the exit. She would turn for a second to call the rest of her message to him. "Decide who's side you're on. Trust me, next time you're in my way I won't hold back any" She would turn to walk to the door, walking slowly to give him or anyone else the chance to speak to her.

With one final onslaught against the Dark Elf Paladin, Hikoru's dagger struck true, piercing Evehira through the chest. Her armaments fell to the ground, the sound of metal crashing against the stone still warm from the battle echoed, bouncing off the walls of the chamber. It was the only sound that could be heard before an outburst of golden light spread from the NPC woman, soon after shattering into hundreds of data fragments. With the demise of the council that ruled over the land through a dark veil, a life was returned; the tattered, skeletal remains of the one Queen became engulfed in a very similar light. As the light faded, the Queen's green eyes flickered to life, quite confused about the events that had transpired before then.

The ginger swordsman stood in place, his rapier still clutched in his hand, lids slowly closing over his eyes as he let out a long sigh through his nostrils. The man was relieved that the fight was over, but at what cost? Sure, they had not lost and members of the raid party, and everyone was emerging unscathed on the surface. However, he had never seen Aincrad's best so divided during this fight and it only worried him what future fight would look like. Some members blamed themselves, some blamed others, Jomei thought the whole thing was a mess. Looking down to his side, he finally returned Oathkeeper to its scabbard on his opposite hip before turning to face @Telrenya. He shared no words with any of the other Frontliners as he passed them.

He spoke to her in a hushed voice, "I think after this.. I'm going to take a break from the frontlines for awhile.. Seeing everyone pit against each other.. it made me worry about what could have happened if the boss exploited that." Olive eyes met her chocolate brown before holding out his hand to her, "If you want to continue fighting without me, I won't stop you. You've proven to be an excellent frontliner, and I couldn't be more proud" a small smile finally found its way to his lips. "Taking a break from the fighting could also give us a chance to finally plan our wedding too." he ended with a chuckle. "Come on.. lets get out of here."

It was finally over. The boss was dead. The door to the next floor was open, and as a great bonus... No one died. He did have one quam though.... He had to talk to the person he had tackled down. He needed to tell him what he really thought about this mess. He walked over to the Jade Hunter, who seemed to be having a hard time... He was sitting down, holding himself tight. He saw Shield walk over, speak to him a little, but all that happened was the poor guy seemed to shrivel more, flinching a little. He was... looking really bad. Sky knew that not much he would say might work... Hidden was there too, though all she was doing was... well, sort of trash talking him. He hated her. He knew... knew she was going to be an enemy of him and his guild at some point.

"Hey Hirru. I want to talk to you about what happened. I'm sorry i had to take you out of the fight for that moment. I'm also sorry i couldn't stop that b*tch of a player from Stabbing you. I'l also deal with the player from my guild who smacked her... But what i want to say is i don't hate you. Those ai's... they really did feel like they were players themselves, the bast*rd who made this game... He did good on that" He said to the player, sitting down next to him. He... didn't want this guy to hate him either. The whole Frontlines was fractured right now, but... he knew he needed to at least try and hold it togehter, if even by helping one player feel better.
